mc is the most pathetic character ever written he has no dream, ambition, or any future planning he is simply following people command with no objection he simply feels like a dog who is carving for his owners attention I don't recommend for people to read this thrash

it depends on how others look at it. im the same, i dont have any dreams or ambitions, I only keep living everyday to live. I have no direction in life whatsoever. I go do the job that i was assigned to, I picked a random course for college, i picked a random strand for senior highschool. I only followed what my mother or "friends" think is best for me because i really have no ambition or dream or any future plan in life. so if thats pathetic like this guy said then im pathetic as well and so is all the other people i know who dont have any plans in life and is just living everyday

Told me i should do sports so i did basketball and badminton and became a varsity player. Said i should do instruments because i would get girls that way so i did piano, guitar and drums(i was average). my grades in school was normal, it was slightly above average, i never failed. took cookery, plumbing, agriculture and electrical engineering classes on gr8 to gr10 then took TVL ICT strand in senior highschool and now in college a CRIMINOLOGY cause they said we should have a law enforcer in the family. not at my 3rd year and i still dont have any dreams.

I for one dont think its a bad thing. But usually you dont like seeing that in the Protagonist of your Story.

actually that's wrong one can see plenty ambitionles Mcs in fiction but I would say its not what you would expect in a setting like GOT

But im not saying you cant place an ambitionless protagonist in a got-esque setting but he usually isn't the driving force of the story in such a case.

fr if you ambition-less protagonist write a slice of life or something not being ambitious but still taking part in a game of dragons like this like a good little follower is just stupid

Ya but it’s different here ur not putting ur life at risk following those commands. It’s like someone telling u go work and give 90% of ur pay check would u? That would be pathetic. Especially if u did that for a girl that is cheating on u or doesn’t care that much for u. But this changes if that girl is ur wife and she spends that money on ur kids and ur food. If the MC fought in a war to put his wife on the throne then I am all for it, if he did it to gain money or something worth the trouble then fine. But if he did it just cause that’s sad.
