Yeah I understand what your talking about. My brother has been trying to get me to play Fallout 4 for years now. I've tried it once and couldn't get into it.

Agreed My favorite it Fallout New Vegas but I tried playing Fallout 4. I admit it was fun but I couldn’t get myself play it like I did fallout new Vegas something felt like it was missing for me.
