Yeah, same here!!! Now and again, I see this story pop up, and I'm like, "Oh, this is new." I checked the review number, and it seems promising. Nope, it's a dumpster fire with augured writing. Usually, this gets 1 star spammed until it averages around 3 stars or so. Some way, somehow, it has a 4.5, and I'm like, "HOW!! Explain yourself."

Although I agreed initially, there is a qualitative change between chapters 1 and 10; I don't know if it is a new editor or something but it's improving.

Nah this one get 4-5 star because it's was good when compared to the other garbage jjk fic become pokemon catching fiction. and because the author was one of them(i mean the weird side of jjk fandom or you could say "true" jjk fans)

this is my first every fic, obviously the first chunk of chapters are gonna be trash it becomes decent at around chapter 15 the fic actually becomes good at around chapter 28 imo, so any review past that is accurate to the star rating so if you want an accurate measure of how good this fic is, read to chapter 28 and if you still hate it then idk what to tell you

A piece of work is obviously going to be judged as a whole. You don't call a painting good when a large chunk of it is the equivalent of scribbles. You can't expect people to read what you deem as the "good parts" if they can't stand the start. That's such a childish mindset. Even if you weren't bias, You really can't call your own story good when It takes over 20 chapters to read a stage where, it's even just subpar to read. There's no evidence pointing towards the story being adequate enough to read if it takes you a horrendous amount of chapters to read the bare minimum.

Way to many mistakes here, but then again, wasn't exactly proofread 🤷‍♂️

Don't worry, we can tell, but the norm is, regardless of how good the story gets, based on the first couple chapters, the story can get carpet bombed with 1 stars.

I think he made this story perfect and had fun doing it as you can see in his writing
