Love the story so far, love dragons. Im here to see the eventual outcome of our mc above the clouds 360 pov, riding atop the snout of a dragon posing, arms crossed, half dragon form as his tail sways behind him (lorgenome style from gurren lagann) as it zooms across the sky along with an army of dragons in tow. But im here for the ride, CCB out! :~).

LIKEI don't think you understand what I meant. I was saying the same people who constantly complain about harem novels in every review of a new story don't stick around to support the novel regardless of whether it is a harem novel or not. I know plenty of people, including myself, who prefer harem novels but will still stick around and read a non harem novel if it's good and support it. Unlike these people constantly complaining, they act like if a novel has a harem tag, it's just a trash story, lol
SugarApostle:It's still in the top 5 in terms of Coins spent though, infact a lot of non-harem books are in the rankings.
Yeah that's understandable, I also support all the novels which I feel are good. The thing is most of the writers who write harem novels Don't do it properly and at the end the novel becomes a mess, same for non-harem ones, which are usually dropped or deserted. But in my opinion any troupe can be good in the hands of a good writer.

The reason I'm so for harem novels whenever the story revolves around action and the MC is a powerful warrior is because men who experience real combat and life and death situations will seek out women for comfort. I'm a veteran soldier who served in the Marine Core and deployed in Afghanistan, so I have experienced this first hand. Then, when it comes to these characters who are overpowered, it will only be natural for them to have multiple women, look at history with kings who weren't physically strong but had harems. Also, one of the sad truths after almost every war is the winning side, pillaging the losing side and often doing horrible things to the women. I don't condone it and honestly am disgusted by it more than most, but it's the truth. It's due to the massive adrenaline rushes the men go through in life and death battles, which make their hormones skyrocket, and they seek out women for comfort. I hope you don't take my words the wrong way, thinking that I want to read that forceful stuff. No, I just know that it's more realistic that these characters have multiple lovers, especially in these Western fantasy novels. Males in general are wired to seek out multiple women to spread their offspring whether in nature or even a core trait of men but our emotions/ love/ social norms play a part in changing it. Society is going through this woke period where guys are even denial that they don't fantasize about having a harem of divine beauties who love them with all their hearts. I hope this explains my opinion about the subject and the reason I get so annoyed by seeing the same group of bot like readers in new novels reviews pressuring writers to not make the novel a harem story. lol

Each to their own ig, I prefer non-harem novels because I'm committed to someone irl, so sometimes reading harem novels feels off putting, I still read the onet which are actually good, but otherwise i pass.
