I'd say continue reading. Trust me, fellow daoist. Of course I won't force you to read but I am sure the novel isn't as predictable as you painted it to be—and it doesn't go the way u think it will either. I have set up pretty good twists here and there and I honestly believe the first volume, which is soon to be completed, is worth all the time I spent writing it.
