I read up to chapter 6, and I'm already hating this mc because of his views on the previous peter, also after what the author replied to someone in the comments about peter being a loser I'm also gonna despise his mindset. I think spiderman/peter is a great person, respect a hero man, even if it's fictional character. in one of the comics when spiderman was about to quit being a hero, the god personally comes to tell him to continue, and shows peter how many people he had saved, this renews peter's resolve to be spiderman again what I'm trying to say is that, I quit this ff because author/mc doesn't respect peter/spiderman

LIKEUumm. If you want to read OG Spiderman then go and read comics. Yeah, Spidey is a great hero, but there are many variants who are even worse than villains. As for MC's view on Peter, bro, he woke up after years of torture and torment, give him a break. He is cranky and aggressive in the first half of the book, trying to cope up with his new reality. Ever heard of character development?
nah u don't need to delete the entire book, it seems that there are still people that like your book, I just don't like it because our views clash the reason I said I despise you is because you insult peter, like come on bro!, peter is bullied from childhood and had also lost his parents at a young age, of course he will be meek! some guy in the replies says to understand it from mc's perspective but have you ever tried to understand from peter's perspective?
Xcalibur_Xc:LOL. Despise my mindset? Point out which part of what I said is wrong. All I said are the cold hard facts. Prove me otherwise and I will delete this entire book. I dare you.
I don't want an og spidey bro, I want an op spiderman, a spiderman who doesn't eat loses because is naive. this doesn't mean mc should just disrespect peter! you say that I should understand from mc's perspective, but have you ever tried to understand from peter's perspective?

Peter isn't the only hero who lost his parents, and speaking of bullies, he accepted all that insult without trying to fight for himself and this later becomes a curse for him as he kept hard trying to live upto everyone's expectation which destroyed his personal life as Peter Parker. We all got our own opinion but that doesn't mean you can go around saying I despise this guy and that one for not liking someone I like, that's just stupid.

Spidey is a hero, but Peter Parker is a loser. Simping after MJ till the end while f**kng around with Cindy, Black Cat and others, then when he married MJ, by that time she slept with almost everyone with money, and then they got divorced. 😂😂 That's how the makers made him.

I know people who have been victims of bullying when they were young, also people who do not have a father, but they are not meek, it is Peter's way of being in all his versions, it changed only because of the power of the spider or he would continue being that way.

Depression, not having friends and being bullied, that's not mistreating him, he doesn't want to change, he just wants to stay the way he is, that's why they call him a loser, it's easy to get out of depression, it's much easier to get out of not having friends, bullying is easier than making friends, if they try to do it to you grab a pencil and bury it somewhere or hit the one who's bullying you with whatever you can (even a piece of glass will work and since all teenagers in a school have pencils), if outside they try to hit you at least try to screw one of the group and then they won't do it again because they'll know that if they try at least one of them will end up without an eye or something. (it's always easier to solve violence with a lot more violence, even more so if they're teenagers)
Axes:He was depressed and had no friends as well as being bullied. He isn’t a loser. He was mistreated.
You’re not just wrong; you’re so astronomically off-base that it’s actually impressive. Calling Peter Parker a ‘loser’ because he faces hardships is such an ignorant take, it’s almost laughable. Spider-Man’s entire appeal as a character is his relatability—he struggles, like every human does, and he still rises above it to do the right thing. That’s not weakness; that’s strength. Dismissing his perseverance and selflessness as ‘living up to everyone’s expectations’ shows you’ve either misunderstood the core of his character or never actually paid attention. Peter doesn’t sacrifice his personal life because he’s a pushover; he does it because he believes in something greater than himself. That’s not being a ‘loser.’ That’s being a hero. You also claim you’re stating ‘cold hard facts.’ No, you’re stating uninformed opinions and dressing them up as facts. If Peter’s supposed ‘failures’ make him a loser in your eyes, then I don’t think you understand the concept of heroism—or storytelling, for that matter. Frankly, your take is so surface-level and dismissive that it’s borderline embarrassing. If this is the hill you want to die on, at least come armed with an actual understanding of the material instead of spouting nonsense like it’s profound insight.

That's your opinion. Don't push it on others. Spiderman is a hero no doubt but as Peter, he is a failure in most realities. Let's start with school, he got bullied and beaten but didn't do anything to stand up to them or even improve himself, next he could have used his brain and Spidey power to make money and be a hero but photographer, simping after mj while she fkd around with everyone and like a ck married her in the end, then got divorce and drowned in sorrows, he let the villains live, how many times they broke out and killed civilian I doubt I need to point that out. There are many more. So, you stick to your opinion I will stick to mine.

The points you said are indeed facts but I want to shed some light on why he couldn't be do what the author said he should. First he was bullied by flash. Why he couldn't fight back? Maybe because flash is most popular sports star of school and he got connections while Peter is an orphan and comes from a household that barely makes their end meets. 2nd why he doesn't kill? Because he is kind? Maybe because he will be shot dead by police? Definitely. He ain't no Tony stark who could flip the bird to government. Why not use his intelligence to earn money? Cause that draws attention and that could potentially reveal his secret identity. Why that is a problem? Because he can not protect his loved ones from his enemies. Hope that helps

Don't throw the orphan and poor logic lol. That's just an excuse. 2nd, Kind? How many did his kindness killed? You already know the math. 3rd, there are countless legal way to make money without becoming popular, take stock trading for example. Finally, as for his family in danger😂😂 Don't even go there. You already know those villains eventually found out his identity and tried to harm his family yet he let them live only to repeat the same thing again and again. That's how his character is made.
