So basically, the sun vanished and we all know a Sci-fi story won't be popular if it doesn't have some sort of crazy apocalyptic vibe. The main thing about setting a dystopian novel is the level of severity that comes with the situation and I suppose the author did that quite well. The novel does focus quite a lot on side characters and that's where the sh*tty author kills them off after getting attached to them. But that's the brilliance of his writing. If we can feel bad for a fictional character, then that in its own sets a tone of emotional synchronization between the reader and the characters in the book. Another thing to note is the fact that this is a Sci-fi book and yet it is one of the best you'll come across even with how dominant Fantasy books are in Webnovel. I'm glad this book is getting the attention it deserves and if I do keep on reading and enjoying, then I'll add another review. Hopefully, a detailed one. Not much to say about the MC for now, but I suppose he gives the vibes of any complex MC in such a dire setting.
