I gave it a shot and read 100 chapters because the author said the protagonist is OP and doesn't hide his powers much. Well, that was a lie. The protagonist is weak and stupid. Let alone being OP, he's not even the top of his class. He's also very lazy. He's described as someone more mature than his age would indicate, which is 16, but he acts like a 12 year old, so that's also a lie. As for pacing... after 100 chapters, I feel like the novel hasn't even started yet. He has gone to school, been insulted the whole time for being trash, which is true, and now he's playing around in some random tower to find some healing elixir. So I'd say it's snail pace. Veeeeery slow.

LIKEMC weak and stupid(?)… Well, at least I'm thankful MC doesn't have enough power to speedrun every conflict on the 1st volume. But MC is definitely not stupid seeing how fast he can learn other's sword arts, Weak(?) Perhaps I'm reading a different novel, but the MC I read was able to keep up with a guy who has a golden finger system. Oh wait a minute-, I get it now…… I forgot character growth is not a thing for some readers. Perhaps try rereading one punch man(?) I think that's more to your liking.
one punch man is not a good example. that show was designed to be a comedy. there is character growth in areas outside of strength. especially for the side characters, like genos who has enormous growth in character and strength. one punch man is not synonymous with a trash webnovel that has a broken MC, because they neither have good side characters or are comedic in any sense of the word. :D
