totally agree, there are dozens of stories that I loved but at some point the author introduced extreme racism and ruined the novel. I want to believe that they are forced to write that, but I really feel sorry for those stories.

Yeah I also agree with you, mainly cause I remember reading a Chinese novel that was really good up until half way, and then the author said that he was being forced to start writing bad about the west and to start praising the Chinese government. I forgot the novel’s name but I do remember being sad about the development. And the thing is the author was trying really hard to make it work, but he could only do so much before it affect his work.

nah thats not true, there are brilliant chinese novels, read the remembrance of earth's past trilogy by cixin liu or reverend insanity. Both are the peak of chinese literature and amazing novels. Don't be biased in your opinions because of the CCP's propaganda
