LIKELet's agree to disagree then. I do want you to research on Kattegat in your free time if you're interested that is. It's like saying just because I put Vestfold, which was also in the Viking that it makes it a fanfic when these places exist in the real world. Now, shall we enjoy the story?
These are actual historical figures. Viking interpreted the story of Ragnar in their own way, so did The Last Kingdom and so am I. Each separate from one another. The only similarity it shares is the name Kattegat, an actual place in real life hence already eliminating the exclusivity of it to the Viking series. I believe I mentioned it was a strait as well before it was made into a kingdom making it more accurate to the real life representation of Kattegat. But I do understand your point regardless, just wanted to clarify a few things because Ragnar isn't a fictional character, nor was his wife or children exempting Tyr of course.
True, but in a way all stories are fanfics... some are just fanfics about other peoples lives xD
