Sailors who don't drink are nearly impossible. Travelling by sea is extremely boring so they drink a lot. Also in real life too only 8/100 die due to smoking not to mention one piece. It's very ridiculous. Being a pirate is about being free and living life to the fullest. You make zero sense.

I will continue to read the Jon Snow story but this story with you introducing Hermione as love interest and very biased story telling has reduced my interest. Best of luck but this one is not my cup of tea as I hated Hermiones character so not gonna continue this.
