Well, I like jordinio fics, so this one is most likely going to be good. Too bad though that his update rates on his stories are slower than the internet explorer and he abandons many of them like my father did it to me... still going to give it a five star rating!

I think it happens all the time. A parent goes out with any kind of excuse then ditching his life behind. Reasons may wary between individuals like not content with his current life, not ready for the child and can't take responsibility, can't get himself to be tied down by a child to a woman he's not willing to spend the life with or even doubts of his childs legitimacy. Going out for groceries is probably the most normal kind of excuse someone can think of.
