Even Ignoring the fact that you can't train occlumecy without the assistance of a legilimens, that you can't successfully train controlled Magic until the age of 11, that occlumecy and legilimency take years to train to novice mastery, let alone the full mastery required to augment ones memories, that training one martial art to full mastery requires at least half a decade of dedicated work, let alone 4-8 martial arts with only semi-dedication, that you can't learn magical spells based upon what you've learned from movies and books from another life taught with the use of a wand in mind, wandlessly. Ignoring all of that, creating a character that is so Overpowered before Canon even starts, such that at his current rate of progression he will never be in danger at any point in the story, makes for a horribly boring and bland tale indeed. This is complete wish fulfillment, it is not at all realistic even for fantasy fiction. what's more the grammar while decent enough to read is still below average and often repetitive. all in all I recommend the author is clear and concise with whatever point they may be trying to get across, that they describe the environment around the character more often and in more detail, that they stop giving written diatribes of what the character plans to do and more of what they are currently doing, that they make the character face danger and adversity more often and that the character is given more of a personality, with faults and quirks and that the character is not so strong so fast, AT MOST they should be at the level of a third year at the end of the first year.

LIKEit's not wrong. You need assistance of a legilimens to train occlumecy. It's been proven in the books and in the film's. how are you supposed to defend your mind against magical parsing if you've never before experienced what you mean to defend against.
that's like saying you can be successful at martial arts without sparring, you can't, no matter how much you train, you'll be trounced in your first fight against someone with experience fighting.
not vice versa. there can be a legilimens without an occlumens because legilimensy can be practiced on anyone, you can attempt to read the mind of a passer-by on the street if you so wished. The difference with occlumensy is that you need someone to try and get into your mind in order to push them out, in order to practice defending against it you need to find someone who is capable of doing it, and then have them do it to you while you defend yourself against it. As we see with Harry and Snape
I haven't read the ff yet but he should be able to learn occlumency even without legilimensy. He just won't be able to completely master it without legilimensy.
Occlumency was poorly explained in the canon, and I don't think it necessarily needs a legilimence to be learned. Harry was a case apart because he needed to learn in a short time, at least that's what I think. And there's also the question of who taught Voldemort and Snape? Remembering that Snape already knew occlumency at the age of 21. And the MC has a reason to be practically OP with occlumency and legilimency, but I can't say why it would be a spoiler. And he also has empathy, which helps to learn occlumency (legilimence too, but that magic we can set aside for now). If someone is getting mental "attacks" frequently (empathy), he tends to develop protection after training.
I didn't think the review was useless, at least he gave the stars correctly, as there were cases where they gave 1 star for simply not liking the type of story. It's the same as giving 1 star to a DxD fic because I don't like DxD. Lol
He is doing things with occlumecy that only master's should be able to do, and it wouldn't be a question of mastery, it would be a question of whether he could even use it when a legilimens tries to invade ghost mind for the first time.
it's like asking which and first hen or egg?....... there's no definite answer to this🤷🏻♂️
but there is a limit 🤷🏻♂️
No, you are wrong, films and books have not fully disclosed this topic, for example, to start mastering the illumination, you need to create something like a mental space or a mental palace. To create a regular defense like a lock or different traps in the brain, no attacks are needed, they are needed rather to check
This whole mind palace thing is from fanfics and is not canon. While teaching Harry, Snape told him that with calm mind a person could repel Legilimence. There is no need to create mind palace or something, you just read too many FFs.
In cannon Tom Riddle could talk to snakes, move objects with his mind, get animals to do what he wanted them to, make people who are mean to him hurt. Just because he can do these things doesn't mean he can do them on command, or in a controlled manner. Dumbledore himself says he can learn control at Hogwarts, implying it is something he lacks.
