As a person who has fully read the whole book (2503 Chapters); i strongly suggest people to read this. It could definitely have been better, but it was nearing perfection. I admit that there were dozens of times I cried, specially at some moments. Not gonna spoil. There were also many things I hated, but the one I disliked the most was that at some point Annie Sullivan(litte girl patient) was just tossed aside. She was one of my favorite character and it hurts that her character was just pushed aside like that. Two things I hated the most were some people just hated MC for no reason and kept calling him a hypocrite, even when they don't fully know him; the other one is the unnecessary tragedies. Just happens for no reason and make MC go through pain. Some of them makes sense for character growth, while some were just nonsense. Just kept making MC go crazy. Overall still one of my best read though. Also the book stopped even when the story hasnt finished. Just a heads up for people who wants to continue reading the mtl version.

I doubt there was anything supernatural throughout the novel besides Renly (Chu Jiashu) getting reincarnated, but then again, authors like to leave some vague plotlines so that our minds will be preoccupied by our own interpretations, just like with “Inception”. P.s. Mumford & Sons - Monster

Yeah, I had such problems too. It is really a bummer that this kind of novels don’t receive professional translation, it would’ve come a long way to enhance the reading experience. It is still good, but it could be much, much better!

man chapter 700-900 is truly one of the best moments of this book where i cried .(to tell exactly which moment , the mc singing his album part in stadium ) p .s . can you post the chinese name of this book ,god damn i lost it

Won't tell the tragedy since that is too much of a big part of a spoiler. Can tell romance since I don't really think it's too much of a big part For the romance, thought it was Jennifer Lawrence at first, but it ended with Rooney Mara. Also thought there was a possibility with Scarlet, but nope. Wanted for MC's love interest to be Felicity Jones at first because of the teasing during the shoot and the something, but by the time they started shooting Rogue One, didn't root for her that much.

大戏骨 (Google Translate is Big Play Bone(?)) There are lots of moment that made me cry, but there were 2-3 major ones that totally broke me. Literally cried for a long time and I couldn't stop reading, but pause sometimes to really feel the hurt. The thing that I hated the most with MC is that he didn't really help little little Annie that much after what happened. MC rarely visited and when a problem with Annie's family occurred MC didn't help much. It was very clear that he could have helped Annie's mother, but he just said that he'll talk to the foundation director(?)(forgot that guys position) on whether Annie would qualified for their help. One of the moments MC disappointed me. FYI. If it isn't obvious Annie is one of my favourite character in this novel.

yeah ,that was a moment of craziness that should not have happen . after getting egot ,he should have hired a few permanent bodyguard and also shouldn't have damage his body just to learn drum till he himself bleeds so much and even gets hospitalized . i can understand when it happens on the cancer arc (cause his prev life experience resonate so much with the role till he gone too deep into it) but in this arc ?no way ,no good reason to justify wounding oneself just for a role and learning extreme drumming. as the whiplash director have said ,for this role as long as mc can play it decent ,with post production editing is enough to shoot this movie to the stars .
