yeah i more or less agree with what you said. but simply put, thats the type of things i would expect at the very least for paid read level. a couple years back a lot official qidian/webnovel translation in this site is just that bad of a quality that it's obvious someone at webnovel is using translation tools without actual proofreading and editing, you know we either use free pass and even paid using power stones to read it. That's why a few years back i transition from using this site to read into using this site to find titles that i found interesting to read MTL and exclusively read only the fan fiction section cause it's free. After all, the quality of mtl and those "official translation" is basically little to no difference so why tf would i pay here lol. That's why I'm not in any way offended with the fan mtl translation here if they just decided to merely or mostly copy paste the translation tools results. But i will be offended if they use this sub par quality translation at sites which user paid. Anyways people who do the free fantranslation here is mostly sharing here cause they're passionate with Chinese raws they find and wanted to share with the others (+ maybe getting some donations for the good recommendations).

But not all of em are that bad bro. This fic for example have little to none of those toxic elements, it's either extremely mild that i didn't even really notice or it's really none (fyi, i am reading the machine translated raws after chapter 271 till chp 320, ±40 chp before the end of the novel and still finding none of that) as for translation methodology... i can't really comment much because everyone have a different style and reasonableness of doing it. Some just simply using AI or translation tools with little to none proofreading and editing. Some decides that editing and proofreading so it's more readable to the more general audience is a must. but tbh, idk why ur complaining when ur reading this at webnovel fan fiction zone where it's practically free to read and the translators took whatever amount of time and effort they pour to post them here so that u don't need to scour the web for em and wasting time. So you can't really expect them to do translation at a professional level right? As for the potential argument that translators here also gain money from donation/paid content, that's for the reader to decide whether it's worth it to pay for saving time to read adv chapter or just genuine donations. if ur still ain't convinced, then simply pay an actual professional translator and don't read here with the expectation of actual professional level 😂😂😂
