Before I start this review I would like to state that I do enjoy this fic and it is well worth a read and also that there are probably going to be some *spoilers* along the way. So let's start with the good points before the bad ones (*gasp* yes there are some bad points and yes I am fully prepared to receive the hatred of those less than two brain cell readers who want nothing more than to lick the author's arsehole), so without further ado... 1) The concept of the story and the delivery system is absolutely golden, sure there is a system and that isn't very original but the way it is 'delivered' is original and the potential for future applications is enormous. 2) The cast is a great mash up of rarely used but well-known anime characters (Esdeath, Tohru, Kanna, Meru) that both stay true to their original counterparts and also seem to have their unique aspects during their interactions with our MC Kyle. 3) Quality, the story is well written, the vocabulary is not repetitive and for an extra pat on the back, the editor also does a swell job! Now for the less than great points 1) Kyle, The MC has major self confidence issues which are shown during his interactions with the girls in the story and especially with Tohru. The MC is completely aware that Tohru has fallen for him (in fact he literally self engineered the circumstances where she would fall for him (by pulling out the sword himself instead of his aunt)) yet he believes himself not worthy of the affection of the girl... for some (JP protagonist) reason. Sure the reason for his self-confidence issues were mentioned briefly in the first chapter or two (standard no friends - due to his Kobayashi eyes - boring life, father is an asshat etc) but since the very start of this fic we have literally only seen him in situations where he is either: laughing/getting along with his co-workers, saving girls and making them fall in love with him within minutes or making new friends at school (more girls who very likely have fallen for him). The fact that Kyle feels unworthy of Tohru or any girl in general's love is a very perplexing thing for the reader to try and relate to as we have next to no information on why he feels like that and in the end it just makes him come across as indecisive and a little disrespectful to Tohru's feelings. Kyle also has his 'pride as a man' in which he thinks he must be worthy and strong enough to stand beside Tohru which is... admirable but stupid I mean the girl is a dragon stronger than most gods in her old world. The major saving grace of Kyle's character as a whole is that he doesn't seem to have any problems casually interacting with girls as long as it isn't romantic (i know it makes little sense if he has confidence issue i know) and he also isn't dense and is aware at least of Tohru's feelings which is a big plus (even if he never acts on it). 2) The only other bad point is that we haven't heard anything from Esdeath (who personally is one of my favorite anime girls) for ages and I want her to drop in on Kyle using the power of a yandere waifu to swap worlds and stalk*ahem* chase her beloved

Além do que você disse, um outro ponto que me incomoda é o fato de não haver entregas direito, o cara fez 3 entregas somente até o momento, não importa se ele vai receber um poder grande ou um simples obrigado de recompensa, eu quero ver mais interações dele com universos diferentes.
But if she believes that he is not worthy of her love then why did he make her fall in love with him? it's stupid.
In summary: -beta MC (Japanese type) -MC with low self-esteem -the MC manipulates girls into falling in love with him, but then he doesn't have the balls to reciprocate those feelings

It's such a waste that the MC is beta too. I see 150 chapters of a story and I can't force myself to actually read it because the MC is... well, I'd like to curse. I have no idea what possessed this author to write Japanese Beta Mc but I guess he is just a sadistic a****** to do this to his readers. The story is very well written but actually reading it is frustrating for me. I simply can't continue because the MC's behavior is continuously destroying any interest I could have had for the plot. Feels bad man...

tbh Issei at least is true to his desires, this mc is identical to the one from the siscon novel, he lies all the time, picks up girls all the time and accepts them all the time, without talking to the girl he supposedly loves and only tells her the bare minimum when he's forced to; if the author went for any level of realism he would have been killed a number of times already due to his behaviour and yet still comes across as a door mat type beta character; he literally flirts with everyone and then is all "I'm sorry, it's my fault" and cowers in the next scene. The author tried to build up what was mentioned here about his interactions with Tohru and they finally became a thing, but a few chapters later he shows up in front of Tohru with a pregnant Esdeath who he married which for her would be literally out of nowhere with pretty much a "deal with it" attitude.
well for me it's the same, both are beta with their respective levels of stupidity.
