Don't let the bad reviews stop you from reading this awesome novel. First the r-18 comes in later. This is not a story that only focuses on getting lots of girls but giving those girls a good story with the mc. The adventure of the author from layers to layers is amazing. He even goes back to earth which is not something you see much from other novels with same genre. The characters are well written. Its not a novel where he gets a new girl in his harem every 100 chaps. He loves his fam and his scenes with them are pretty wholesome. His fam also plays a role and they are not just in the background. Claire and Logan power couple is one of the best out there. The girls in the harem are not trophies and are trying their best to get stronger. The cultivation systems are unique and might get a bit confusing as you go on but author has a guide for that. The mystery in the novel is even quite intriguing. The world is pretty well built. Author takes time to introduce the territories and its people. There is also a bit of comedy here and there. MOST IMPORTANTLY, he doesnt leave his wives when he goes on an adventure. He bring them and fights with him together. Something you hardly see in other novels. Im not saying that the novel has no problems but they are pretty small and are only at the start of the novel. The author improves along the way and massive improvements can already be seen early on the novel .As you go on you can see that Davis' adventure with his wives are amazing. P.S. : Shirley is a goddess Overall Writing Quality : 4.5/5 Stability of Updates : 5 (Although we would love 3 chaps a day) Story Development : 5 Character Design : 5 World Background 5

LIKEbut in super gene she is almost like a background character once her small mini arc is over....in this novel the author makes effort to bring all the characters to his cultivation level
Yell_Win:while not being in harem 'super gene' has a lots better reason for being faithful with single wife
I don't understand you, this is one of the main reasons for me to read this novel, for a while I searched for something like this and finally found it. You know, I was tired of reading works (ATG) where the MC adds women to his harem, and because they are weak, they end up being left behind while the MC goes to a higher level. I still don't know how none of the wives have not yet betrayed yun che, oh actually I know, because the author didn't want to ... if nowadays betrayal happens in relationships between two people, imagine with 10 ... This novel, besides the MC, focuses on their wives and their development and feelings, and not as if they were trophies added to the bookshelf and mentioned only when the MC misses them. and here we see that having more than one wife is not as simple as it is demonstrated in other novels. (Sorry for any mistakes, English is not my main language)
Aspect:Wanted to read but the fact you state he brings his wives around everywhere with him turns me away.
Right?! Spirit Cultivation was an extrmely refreshing novel, not to mention one of the best. Usual cultivation novel mc would just leave their wives behind which, in my opinion, is dumb. A waste of introduction and character development
EXTRALARGE_Large:Im assuming most people haven’t read spirit cultivation if its that shocking that he brings his wife’s with him him and his wives are like a special force bruh they have formations and all and they are pretty strong one even being his level for a good chunk of the story
Its honestly one of the only ciltivation novels that i didn’t drop in the first 50 chapters i honestly thought that most mc do take their harem everywhere they go

did you notice that every single one has an inferiority complex? the former queen/princess might be the only one without one

Bro, you think like this, the first girl he added didn't even knew the stages of cultivation, his prowess was heaven-defying, she was only used as a bargaining chip for the protection of her family, he had got marriage alliances from the princess of great empires, and she was just a normal woman of a middle-class family. So, why would she not have inferiority complex, moreover in the world where women were used as tools, she was just walking on a tight rope without knowing when she would be sold.
