Chapter 1The confrontation

Isaac was on his way to the library wondering if she could possibly know about the map that was in the book or the system

On getting there he could already tell she was inside due to her abnormal scent Isaac walked into the room and could see her sitting on a desk looking directly at the door as if she could tell exactly when he arrived before he entered

Isaac went and sat opposite to her on the same desk

"Am here so, why did you call me here" Isaac asked

Finally speaking up

"I just can put me head round it, but you're a strange one in just a short amount of time plus the fact there hasn't been a full moon yet despite all these facts you somehow turned"

Isaac who was just sitting down listening to all these could understand where she was heading with all these

"Does this mean she doesn't know the secret behind the book" Isaac thought to himself

"Now explain you're self, Lycan" she said with her eyes glowing a dim red,

"Am sorry but you don't scare me if I might say, and the only way am telling you anything is if am getting something in return" Isaac replied putting on a brave front

Just within a few seconds she pushed the table away using amazing speed which Isaac could barely follow she dashed towards Isaac grabbed him by the neck as she passed by him dragging him with her, the next thing Isaac knows is his back is against the wall being held at his neck by a figure with glowing red eyes

"Who told you I was asking"

"Ouch when did she grab me, am not going down without a fight"Isaac thought as anger rose inside of him his emotions running wild

"Did she call me here to kill me; she is just toying with me"

Just then Isaac's eyes started glowing yellow as he felt a sudden surge of power and rage and anger spreading through his body as his nails elongated and his fangs became razor sharp

"Isaac taking a shot at pushing off's Isabel's hand which was still on his throat, but with his new found strength he didn't know the limit of his powers the moment his hands got close to Isabel, she jumped back in retreat

Just then a translucent window notification popped up from the system

Skill

* Claw strike*

"What's this, was it what I just did now because it felt as if it were partially automated"

"Isaac who had just undergone transformation was now on his knees as his body was reverting back to normal all the rage and anger fading

"What came over me "Isaac thought "I was never this aggressive?

"Are you like me"Isaac asked, finally looking at Isabel he could see that not only were her eyes red her nails were also elongated just like his

Isabel who was regaining her composure from the unexpected attack earlier "what was that, I know he is still a pup wolf how come his speed rivals mine" she thought

On hearing Isaacs question "Me like you, am sorry but we are by far two different things"

"If she isn't a werewolf like me then, what is she" Isaac thought to himself

Isaac looking at the figure in front of him intensively wondering and asking what could she possible be?

Yet again the system notification window popped up as if trying to answer Isaac's question

*passive skill unlocked*

Appraisal

Name: Isabel

Species: vampire

Rank: [vampire newborn]

Level: [7]

Strength: 35

Speed: 20

Senses: 20

Skills: [blitz, regeneration, hyper senses]

"What is this information on her if only I knew about this function I would have definitely used it frequently, so she is a vampire whoa" Isaac thought to himself

Isaac speaking out aloud "I thought I made myself clear if you want any information from me you have to give me something in return

"Damn I thought this would be an easy task although he seems to be unstable I wouldn't want to pry any further to avoid him losing control and unexpected outcome's" Isabel thought

Isaac setting the table back in place as he picked up their seats and sat down "now where were we"

"I see you've got some balls, I like that" Isabel said as she sat down

"Fine lets handle this like civilized people, so what would you like in return for the answer to my questions"

"Hmm what do I want I believe there is a term that says an eye for an eye, I've got some questions of mine"

"So be it" she said

"so from what I know you were the one who followed me into the secret room in the library, and you stole that old book, and even when I got the book back, your scent was human there is no doubt about it"

Isaac interrupting Isabel "Wait so you were the one who snuck into my room" Isaac said annoyed "that's not fair"

"Neither was sneaking into the room nor taking the book

Back to where I was, right now you're no longer human and I am certain that as of current there are no packs in this town, the only viable conclusion I have is that you probably had the werewolf genes in you which you may have activated of recent but that those nothing to proof what you just did now the full moon is still a week away so even if you recently activated your genes, you still shouldn't be able to transform at will not until after your first transformation which should happen at the full moon"

"well that's a very fascinating summary of things you got going there but let me tell you what I know, from my own point of view after I got the book I found a hidden map on it which I followed to a cave and in the cave a portal of some sort opened up and inside was this really huge room filled with gold and the most important a tomb which I opened and found a strange item inside it was circular like a ball and it was clear like a crystal "

"You mean an orb" Isabel interrupted

"I don't know but when I touched it a felt a surge of energy enter me that's only I know" Isaac said

"hmm I haven't heard of people turning from orb's but all this is pointing toward the work of a witch and not just any witch could use or implement a spatial magic spell it must be a powerful one at that"

"What witches are real" Isaac said hiding his shocked expression.

"And for the transformation whatever I have no idea about that, if that is all I guess it's my turn to ask the questions" Isaac said with a smirk

GlaringError here! As I have already mentioned in my author review I am restating it here since I am getting tons of comments about it, that I am more of a reader myself than a writer, I made this novel in an attempt to capture my fantasy world residing in my mind into words.. Writing is new for me.. The premise of my novel is inspired by many great works that I have loved over the years. And some elements I have in my novel that are slightly similar to them but it's just the skeleton of it, the real meat of the plot is entirely my own cooking. Some of the influence that is more noticeable is from The Runesmith (By Kuropon), The King's Avatar (By Butterfly Blue) and Shadow Slave (By Guiltythree). I have immense respect for these legends and I can only hope to follow in their footsteps. To all those who comment just by judging the name, at least give it a chance before letting your opinions be known. Thank you.

I Can Copy And Evolve Talents

Across the vast convolution of worlds, divine beings rule as absolute sovereigns—each god assigned dominion over a singular realm. Skirmishes are inevitable, whether for power, amusement, or sheer pettiness. One such battle, between Nexus, the God of Trickery, and an aging, senile deity, resulted in an anomaly… A soul misplaced. Elliot, an ordinary man, was never meant for Ul’Tra-el. But fate, or perhaps a cosmic prank, had other plans. Unlike other worlds, Ul’Tra-el is an aberration—one that developed a voice. A voice that diverged from the natural order. A voice that changed everything. Its foundation cracked, leaking dimensions into one another. Rifts tore open like festering wounds, vomiting forth unspeakable horrors—monsters not meant to exist. But the world did not sit idly by. In response—perhaps an act of self-preservation—the world gifted its inhabitants power. Talents awakened, granting people extraordinary abilities. And for every rift sealed, the Voice of Ul rewarded them generously. Survival was simple: fight, grow stronger, and close the rifts… or die trying. In this ruthless, blood-soaked reality, Northern—a white-haired boy burdened by his past life—was reincarnated. But unlike the chosen heroes, he awakened as a talentless nobody. No power. No strength. No future. And when death loomed over him—when despair clawed at his soul and the cold grip of the failure threatened to take him— A Voice responded: [System Notice] [Your Soul cannot take a form.] [Searching for a Unique Pattern Ability…] [Searching…] [Search Found.] [A Unique System Ability has been detected.] [You Can Copy And Evolve Talents] ... Follow Northern through his journey as he becomes the pinnacle of this world. This a story about a white-haired boy’s rise from rubbles!! Note: This is an overpower genre but MC does not just start off like that. Even though MC can copy talents he doesn't just jump around copying talents because there's a limitation. However, his rise to strength is depicted and is an experience to enjoy. The first few hundreds would be frustrating to follow because MC is weak but that makes the experience all the more interesting when MC finally gets freaking strong and starts wiping the floor with everyones asses.
