Dark past: final act
After another disappearance Jacob was able to follow the scent of the culprit following it back to the hideout of said vampire (Roden) and his underlings it was a very big and deep cave.
On reaching there Jacob could spot a ditch with a lot dead bodies with flies and maggot at the scene, when Jacob went into the cave he had spotted the man whom had taken his love, the man who had sent him flying sitting in a stone throne and beside him was Elena and two other individuals whom where all feasting as they were draining the life out of someone whose eyes were looking dull with no reactions to the fangs on his neck and wrists.
"Oh look who's come by to play" Roden said on seeing Jacob
As though he had perceived something the look on his face changed, "what is this I smell, what have you done?"
"What was necessary" Jacob said with his eyes changing into a bright yellow, his muscles tightened up as small patches of hair began to sprout on his body.
"get him, Roden screamed with his eyes radiating a dim red color" the two people who seemed to be feasting on hearing this all rushed towards Jacob except Elena who was standing beside Roden, Jacob held his ground dodging the attacks which were mostly claw slashes and a few punches mixed in although some of them were able to hit him the attacks from the two were not in sync with an opening Jacob pulling out a wooden stake he drove it to the heart of the one closest to him this caused the other to take a step back as the one with the wooden stake sticking out of him fell to his knees in a matter of seconds his body started disintegrating leaving not even his bones, a look of terror could be seen on the face of the other individual knowing he was next, but before he could react Jacob was already in front of him it didn't take long and he too was gone.
"impressive I see you are a natural, but can you also kill the one you love" immediately he was done saying this Elena sprang from where she was delivering a perfect hit on Jacob stomach which made him take a step back with blood dripping from his mouth.
"Elena it's me Jacob don't you remember me" Jacob said looking at Elena
"Am sorry but am not the cute little defenseless Elena you used to know" she said throwing out a slash which Jacob barely dodged
"What do you mean by that" Jacob said not knowing what his next set of action would be
"I have been reborn, I feel stronger now, I feel invisible I do not need you pathetic care anymore"
"Jacob standing up, "she warned me about this possibility, before coming here I had already made up my mind" .
"I will free you from this curse" Jacob said as a single tear drop could be seen leaving his eye
"just shut up and die" Elena shouted as he rushed towards Jacob on getting halfway to him Jacob dashed forward with all his might sticking the stake inside her heart as he held her before she could fall down while he was holding her, her eyes went back to normal as she whisper the words "I love you" before her whole body started disintegrating.
Jacob knelt down there as he felt anger and pain surging through his body
"Wow that was quite a show" Roden said as he stood up from his sit clapping his hand
"but just so you know they were all newly turned so they didn't stand a chance against a Lycan, but am also shocked as a newly activated Lycan such as yourself you have so much control, or maybe your different, you know what let's get this part started" roden said as he slowly walked towards Jacob.
The air instantly became heavier as it sensed two powerful forces were about to clash
They both locked on to each other's movements as they slowly closed the gaps between them on contact they start exchanging blows while dodging each other's blow Roden was much faster as he was more experienced than Jacob who was at the losing end of the exchange
They fight was becoming more intense as Jacob was gradually being pushed back, Jacob knew he had no chance in a head on battle due to his lack of experience, Jacob leaped backwards backing away from the barrage of attacks he was receiving.
"oh what's that, you planning on running" Roden said as he let out an annoying laughter as he continued staring at Jacob who was heavily breathing as a single trail of blood was seen leaving his mouth.
'I have to think of something, in terms of raw speed and strength he is superior, I have to find a way' that's when Jacob heard the a feint sound it was a bird chirping;
'Wait is that a bird that must mean it's almost daybreak'
"Do you think I would stand here and give you a chance to heal" Roden said dashing toward Jacob in a flash.
Jacob taking another step back as he bent down to pick the stake which he had use to kill the other vamps.
"do you think you could possible stab me with that you must be joking" Roden said dashing with full speed as he delivered a very impressive hit which sent Jacob flying to the mouth of the cave
Coughing up more blood Jacob stood up 'almost there just have to get him outside'
"Is that all you've got" Jacob said with a visible smirk on his face
This definitely annoyed Roden who had been the one dashing out insults
"You want more fine I'll give it to you" Roden said out angrily as he was ready to close the gap between them .
Just that instance Jacob pulled out his revolver and fired a bullet at Roden
The bullet's pierces his body but has little or no effect on him.
"Haven't you tried that trick already, you son of a bitch I've had it with you" Roden says as
He continues his advances, while Jacob continued firing as he was slowly backing away from the cave, Roden closing the gap between them hit the gun out of Jacobs hand as he went for a strike at the heart Jacob narrowly dodging this had sidestepped and using that opening he slammed his knees into the chest of Roden which made direct contact, it was obvious the attack had an effect as Roden had taken a step back as he coughed up a bit of blood.
"Oh you succeeded in making me bleed how cute is that" Roden said in a tone filled with nothing but pure rage in an instant his eyes which were already red seemed to have gotten more intense as his speed increase he delivered a mixture of slashes and punches all Jacob could do in response were to raise his hands in defense as the attack was definitely pushing him back blood was dripping all over the floor but suddenly he could see a ray of light through his hand which were up.
'Is that the sun' he thought as he could feel its warmth on his bare skin suddenly the attacks had stopped raising down his hands he could see Roden staring at the back of his palm with a smirk on his face.
"I should really thank master for this part-in gift" Roden said grinning from ear to ear.
'What's happening I thought he would, he would…' just then he something seemed to flash in Jacobs mind as he remembered a statement the witch made.
[Yes they can't stand the sun; they burn in the presence of the sun although this weakness can be nullified by certain spell bound items].
Looking back at Roden he could see a ring on his finger.
'Spell bound item'.
Taking the chance as Roden was still staring at the ring Jacob threw himself at Roden with an attempt to stab him with a wooden stake which was tucked away under his clothes or so it may have seemed, Roden who was surprised by such a wild attack was still able to grab the stakes tip holding it firmly while Jacob simply leaped backwards with a smirk present in his face .
"What's with that smirk, your attack might have been a good one but I stopped it" Roden said but just as he was about to say anything else he felt a weird sensation all over his body.
"You might have stopped it but, this fight is over" Jacob said dropping the ring on the floor.
Roden's eyes widened as he looked as his hands and the ring was there no more.
Instantly his body bust aflame as he let off a horrific scream of pain in a matter of seconds there were nothing but ashes left were he stood .
Returning to town Jacob had led the towns people to were the dead bodies of the victims were dumped, claiming to have killed and burnt the culprit, no one question his words.
He was hailed a hero for having killed the murderer and saving the town but Jacob didn't stop there.
after this Jacob left the town travelling the world, hunting the super-naturals who have been operating in the shadow, his hatred for vampires was something he couldn't let go, he continued on his voyage until eventual he got so powerful people referred to him as a true alpha he had gone on to making both allies and enemies, on his later days he came back to the town where he was turned and that was the last anyone ever heard of him.
