Am late

'Well that was weird' Isaac thought hurrying up the stairs he was in his room in no time letting out a yawn Isaac's eyes and body felt a bit heavy as he felt zapped of energy.

Isaac slowly and sluggishly approached his bed letting himself loose his body slammed against the bed sinking into it.

Isaac exhaled heavily letting out a sigh of relief, his eyes slowly closing by itself his consciousness slowly fades away.

The sky was clear and bright with nothing but the sun and snow white clouds.

Isaac yawned as he got up from bed

"WAhhhoow, I feel so refreshed" Isaac said twisting and

Stretching his arms

Reaching for his wrist watch at the side of the bed he peered at it with a puzzled look for a few seconds

Before his eyes widened in a threatening manner

"What the fuc*, am going to be late" Isaac said jerking up from the bed he didn't waste time in hastily preparing in five or more minutes he was out of his room skidding down the stairs before arriving at the living room he picked up a sugary sweet scent, stepping in he could spot Mary sitting down she seemed to be reading a book holding a cup which hot steams could be seen elevating from it.

"Why didn't you wake me up" Isaac questioned in serene manner as he rushed towards the refrigerator skimming through its contents in search of something

"Morning" Mary greeted followed a long pause

"Well you seemed so tired, so I thought maybe you should sleep in and I don't remember ever being an alarm clock" she said not once looking away from her book.

Isaac reaching for something he pulled out a loaf of bread, he took two slice of bread and tossed them in the toaster, he entered the kitchen and from one of the shelves he took a jar hurrying back.

*ding*

A ring could be heard it came from the toaster Isaac arrived just in time he opened the jar and with the help of a tiny spoon in the jar he spread a thick brown sticky substance from the jar on the bread.

With no time to waste he merged both slices as one tossing it in a brown paper bag and then in his bag.

"Am heading out" Isaac managed to say regardless, with her eyes still locked onto the book "hmm okay, and one more thing mike your friend, the one whom you slept".

"I know who, so what about him".

"he left more than a few minutes ago pretty earlier in fact, came looking for you" .

"Aaah jeez, am already late" Isaac said looking at his wrist watch "am off" he said rushing out the door.

Out of the house Isaac looked towards his chained bicycle and looked back at his watch.

"I don't have time for this"

Isaac walked into the nearby forest slowly looking left and right, He calmed himself down breathing in and out with his eyes shut he let loose of his senses, at first they overwhelmed him but he was slowly getting a hang of it.

Opening his eyes which were now radiating yellow with a hue of golden his, drawing one last breath Isaac held onto his backpack in less than a second he was in motion running through the forest at full speed blitzing through branches dodging trunks and trees, leaping over fallen trees with great heights with his senses unleashed he was able to pick up the slightest of sounds, motion and scents of everything in a certain range. It was not up to ten minutes he had been running.

And he was already picking up scents and sound of people he was already close by as it came into view he started decelerating gradually and by the time he was at a viewing distance his speed would seem rather normal to most.

A window popped up which Isaac instantly closed up

"I don't, have time for this" Isaac said breathing heavily

"Ahh geez it's just inevitable, am late" Isaac said as he slowly approached the building which was kind of scanty with students nowhere to be seen, looking through his class windows which could was upfront the building he could see everyone already seated and calm.

Isaac opened the hallway door walking into the building the hallway was scanty as well, he quickly rushed to his locker and tossed his bag inside he picked up some books for the subject they would be having this morning maneuvering through the hall way and classes he arrived at a door with a label on top 5D

"Excuse me ma may I come in" Isaac said in sedative tone in an attempt to not agitate the busy teacher, the woman hearing a voice turned to the door after which she looked at her wrist watch.

"Mr. MCKAY do you know what time it is" she said "Although you are new here instead of attempting to catch up with the others you seem rather uninterested

"Am sorry it won!"

*Mr. MCKAY report to the principal's office* a voice sounded out in the speakers cutting Isaac's sentence in half

On hearing this the teacher turned her attention from Isaac "so where were we".

Isaac made a 360 turn "uuhhh my I half expected this" Isaac pondered as he made his way to the principal's office.

*Knock*Knock*Knock*

"Who is that" a familiar stern voice said

"It's me Isaac Mckay"

"Come in"

Isaac twisted the knob of the door and walked in to the office.

"Mr. Mckay" a dark skinned well built man wearing a suit was seated at the other end of the desk "take a seat" said pointing at one of the chairs opposite him.

"You called me" Isaac said 'am sure it's about my punctuality' Isaac thought as he sat down.

"Mr. Mckay I am sure I made it known to you at the time of your admission that there are certain things that are not acceptable at this institution and one of them is late coming".

"Sir am sorry it won't happen again" Isaac spoke up.

"Hmm I will let you off the hook this time as a fair warning" he said.

"This is the second time I will be letting you off the hook" he said.

Isaac had a puzzled look as he could not understand what he meant.

"Oh you don't remember does this joggle your memory" he said placing a tablet in front of Isaac with a familiar video on screen.

"Oh, about that".

"There is no need for further explanation I already have the full details of the event, which is why you weren't punished".

"That would be all for now, you may go back to your class he said placing the tablet back in the drawer".

"Thanks a lot Sir I promise it won't happen again" Isaac said before stepping out the door.
