An incredible walking dead fanfic for all those interested in such. Has a female character and the author isn’t shy about putting in some dark stuff to create character growth in the MC, quickly shedding her naivety. Overall a really great novel that I highly recommend can only hope the author keeps putting out chapters.

(Ch27) So far it’s great, I have never watched the walking dead and probably never will but even without that knowledge I can still understand and be entertained about what’s going on. Only problem I have is that the looks from the people that where in the show originally aren’t described in this fic, so it’s annoying having to look up what the characters look like when it’s assumed that you already know. That or I just make something up. besides That one problem which is basically my fault anyway because I didn’t watch the show, the story is great it seems like there are very few grammar issues.

Story is good so far just wanted to know if the mc will ever meet or hear about characters from telltales walking dead as well.

Rewriting this review in a more official way. TL;DR: I wish I could rate things 6*. Writing Quality, 5*: Best I've seen in a while. As someone who is better at finding critiques than writing compliments, I would like to make it clear that that is the reason why my review might not be so detailed, because I quite literally cannot find a flaw. The story captures the nail-biting suspense required of an apocalypse story perfectly and it just makes for SUCH an exciting read man, I cannot express enough just how interesting the author makes this story. Stability of Updates, 5*: In my deleted review I rated this a 4 but the frequency of chapters have drastically picked up since I made the review, and given the insanely high quality of the chapters makes it so I have no complaints. Story Development, 5*: The story is fast-paced when it needs to be, and slow-paced when it needs to be, never is there a time where you may think you wish the pacing was done differently. The character development of the MC is extremely enticing to watch. Character Design, 5*: Replicates canon characters well and manages to make OC's more intriguing than the main cast which is the greatest compliment I could bestow on a fanfic quite frankly. This story truly stands out from the rest of the Walking Dead fanfics due to how powerful of an impression the OC's make on you, enemies included. World Background, 5*: The world of The Walking Dead is well replicated and the presence of well-written original enemies and original plotlines combine to make a really well-functioning, immersive, world that feels like it moves on it's own. Without a shadow of a doubt this fanfiction is the makings of a masterpiece. :P

Honestly these last two chapters have sealed it for me. This is the best walking dead FF I have ever read. Please continue this. I also hope that you post an insane amount more.

Almost 5 Stars from me. One of the best TWD FF I've ever read. Although there are debatable points, that is not a very big problem since there are always disagreements with a story, in my opinion it has a very consistent and organic development, a system that, although it is a central point of the FF, does not take up much of the time. Mc and is proportional to the difficulty of the world, which does not make the mc too OP and a slave to the system, the character development is also one of the best I have seen and puts the points in place about what it is like to live in a world apocalyptic, overcoming his past traumas little by little and realistically. The development of the world is progressive and constant, which gives a solid image of the future. The only thing I would argue is how little he lacks his knowledge from his previous life, he should know that it is essential to pay more attention to firepower, I don't understand why he doesn't visit Fort Benning and take the weapons that were probably abandoned there and thus strengthening your base.

I love the walking dead up to season 7 then it drops I have watched it over and over for years now and this story has definitely restored my enthusiasm of the first time I had watched the walking dead with this new character and the changes it brings to the story in super excited to read this until the end either they die or if they survive long enough to be safe from everything or something else in excited to see what you do with it. Keep up the amazing work

The writing quality is consistently good, grammar and sentence structure keeping up with supreme standards compared to 90% of stories on this platform, very little editing would be required to fully publish this. The updates are timely and feel right with just enough time between each update. Story development and character design are following a pretty good path with very real choices I feel the MC has to make to develop in this type of environment. As fanfictions go, I honestly didn't see myself enjoying a walking dead one as this is literally the only decent one there is. But I have come to enjoy every moment of reading penny build something from nothing and the challenges of the original story / some of the author's own twists and turns. I would like to see a little more original content but I realize the story really hasn't really exited it's initial setup. Anyways, take all my power stones author and keep up the good work.

Okay first of all I really love this story, it's a 10 our of 10 for me. Yes something's might need a bit more work, but it's only small and very little stuff. I really love how you let her character flesh out and be pretty realistic, how she still feels human instead of how other stories might make her more of a 1 in a million type of person. I'm not completely sure why Shane is just rolling with her but from what I read so far I'm guessing it's because she kinda butterflied a lot of the events that led to his breakdown. I love the story so far.
