Round Two

I didn't waste anytime attacking that damn clone.

I didn't know the extent of its abilities, and I didn't want to let it live long enough to find out. So I immediately raised my axe and began to swing it at the clone of Rocks, who seemed to be holding his own as he easily blocked and defended the attacks with his sword.

The other clones didn't even waste time, they immediately joined the fight as they started attacking me from different angles. So I ended up having to take the brunt of some of these attacks just to repel some of them off. The other clones didn't seem to be as strong as Xebec's clone, but they were holding their own weight.

The clones seemed to have some form of telepathic communication as they continued attacking. All their attacks were coordinated, and what didn't help either was the fact that Xebec had also began his counter-attack as well. His sword managed to cut through my skin, so I had to acknowledge that even though he was a clone, he was still a force to be reckoned with.

I had to change my approach on how I was going to handle this situation, and to do so, I immediately let loose the full brunt of my Conqurer's haki. The force immediately knocked the racoon dog unconcious, and the clones immediately vanished the moment he lost concious. However, before the racoon dog could hit the ground, Redfield grabbed the little racoon dog and gently laid it on the ground.

"You have fought well enough, Pato," Redfield gently remarked.

It was then that he got off his knees, and turned towards me. He was smiling while he turned to look at me.

"The powers of my Devil Fruit give me Pseudo-Immortality, killing me off like that cost me a lot of blood that I would soon need to resupply. I'll start with you, I'm sure that your blood will quench my immediate thirst," Patrick smiled as he picked up his polearm.

As he stomped on the ground, a red shockwave immediately imploded and shook the entire island. Its power was formidable, but wasn't overwhelming. To be honest, I was still reeling over the fact that I had encountered a clone of Rocks D. Xebec. So I wasn't really concentrating on what was happening right in front of me.

However, Redfield immediately snapped me back to reality as he swept his scythe across in an attempt to split me in two. The scythe managed to pierce through my skin, but it stopped the moment I tensed the muscles around the wound to stop it from cleaving me in two.

I immediately tried to break the polearm by gripping it with my right hand and hitting it with my left elbow. However, Redfield immediately kicked me square on the chest and sent me back a bit of a distance, and in that process; he had managed to free his weapon which was stuck in my body.

I immediately healed the wound, and started a counter attack of my own. This time however, Redfield had somehow managed to increase his power. Our attacks met each other mid-air and caused a huge shockwave that flattened the remaining buildings that had remained standing through the battle.

I quickly summoned lightning and use the Lightning of The Dead on him. He immediately channeled his Observation Haki and managed to dodge the swing and rolled to the side. The blast of the attack immediately engulfed some hill on the other side and completely destroyed it. However, Redfield immediately appeared and gave me a push-kick to create some distance between us.

Initially, I had thought that this attack would simply push me back. However, there was far more into it than I had thought. A redlight immediately glowed from my body, and I could feel my insides crush as he sent me even farther back than I had initially anticipated. My bloodflow was severely disoriented.

"This fucker....can control blood?!" I muttered incredulously. I immediately vomited a bit of blood out that came out of circulation.

"I managed to awaken this Devil Fruit a while back, it's incredibly convinent, isn't it?" Redfield commented.

"Any living being, warm-blooded animals to be specific, that I make contact with can have their blood manipulated one way or another," Redfield explained as he slowly walked up, "granted, your's has been incredibly difficult to manipulate. However, it doesn't mean that it's impossible."

More and more purple mist continued to pour out of him as he walked up to me. I got up and grabbed my axe which lied closeby. I knew I couldn't turn into a dragon, because it would give him more blood to work with as we kept fighting.

'Should I awaken?'

No, I knew that although Redfield's abilities were powerful, they didn't warrant me to go all out on him like that. I needed to challenge myself a bit more if I was going to surpass my limits. I twisted my neck twice, letting out cracking sounds as I walked towards him.

"You're powers are quite troublesome, I'll give you that," I commented as I used both of my hand to grab my axe.

I stomped on the ground, which nearly split the ground in two as I looked at him.

"But, that won't stop me from cleaving your head off your body."

I leaped to the sky and sent Labrys Redfield's way. Redfield wasted no time deflecting the axe's tradgectory and sent it on the ground near him, but I wasn't done yet.

I immediately used Moonwalk to lunge at him at breakneck speed, but Redfield managed to sidestep to avoid my hand that was aiming to grab him on the face.

Redfield immediately twirled his scythe pole arm and swung it right on my neck. I used Observation killing to disable his next prediction, and ducked before his weapon could touch my neck. It was then that I performed a roundhouse kick right to his ribcage, using my axe as a lever to increase my speed.

It worked, and immediately after, Redfield was sent flying to the side.

I wasted no time following him, and soon after, we engaged in another several rounds of fighting. At this point of time, I had made it a habit to use Observation killing to turn of his prediction, but slowly yet surely; it was proving to be useless, and Redfield had made that rather clear.

Every move that I made after was either dodged, deflected to a different direction, or directly blocked by him. It was a given that this man also had the ability to manipulate his own blood to maximise his physical abilities.

We kept fighting for quite some time. Eventually, I ended up discarding my sense of time, and I continued fighting Redfield with more interest. The funny part about it was the fact that we could both heal our wounds as soon as we were inflicted by them. So it really ended up being a battle of atricion.

The battle in question had lasted a couple of days and nights as a result. Even then, we kept the same momentum that we had from the start of the fight, and our surroundings were nothing more but remnants of a destroyed town. I wasn't sure what happened to the villagers, but I was certain that some of them were most definitely dead.

"YES!!! THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!! LET'S KEEP GOING!!!!!!!" Redfield boomed as we kept going at it. It was obvious that he was enjoying every bit of this fight, and slowly, I was also beginning to find pleasure in this fight as well.

I had been using as much power as I could in my normal form while fighting Redfield, and he was proving to be able to hold his own as we kept going.

I know that the fight started a little bit on the slower side, so please let me know what I can do to make it a little bit better. I already gave a reason as to why he was holding back, so don't burn me in the comments with that.

Love y'all!!!!!!!!!!!!!
