Synopsis

Every being recognizes the name, Heaven. Humans have looked to the stars since the beginning of time, dreaming of a place beyond Earth. Mankind evolved over time into beings capable of shaking the sky with a wave of their hands. These beings were known as cultivators and thought to be powerful enough to control their own destinies and shape the world around them. They were also said to be capable of reaching the same heaven mankind had dreamed of and unlocking its secrets. Many people attempted to defy Heaven over the centuries, but they all failed. Many great figures who made their names in the world were brought down by Heaven's wrath, and it seemed that no one could truly stand up to Heaven's almighty power; they were unable to surpass the limitations that Heaven had imposed on mankind. Years have passed, and while Heaven remains a mystery to this day, people have come to accept it as an unstoppable force, and many have given up. Until one day, a person came forth who dared to defy Heaven and fight against the limits set by it. .... "Hahaha, I may have lost this battle, but remember, Heaven!" A young man yelled as he took a step toward the sky. "Rumble" As if in response to his cry, the sky rumbled and a bolt of lightning flashed across the heavens. "You can be certain that the next time I return, I will be the one to put an end to you." ....... I will upload when I have free time, so I can't promise daily chapters. Chapter 1Prologue

In the vast and endless expanse of space, only the distant shimmering stars could be seen, shining intensely throughout the cold and lifeless void.

A blue planet could be seen floating peacefully in the vast abyss. Not much would happen in this region of space, yet something unexpected happened.

A streak of great strength appeared within the infinite vacuum, shredding the very fabric of space itself wherever it passed.

Close to the blue planet, the space begins to quiver unexpectedly, and fractures begin to show, similar to a shattered mirror that has fragmented into multiple shards.

The space fractured, leaving a white dot large enough to accommodate a human head. The fracture began to mend itself soon after it was injured.

A dazzling ray of light rushed across the gap at the speed of light before it could. The minute the brief beam of light erupted from the fracture, the area began to be influenced.

After emerging from the space gap in the direction of the calmly drifting blue planet, it continued ahead at the same speed. Because of its speed, the light beam arrived at the blue planet quickly. As it approached the blue planet, the peculiar light beam slowed abruptly and began falling in a straight line.

"BOOMM"

When the light beam ultimately reached the blue planet's atmosphere, its speed continued to decrease; the closer it got to the planet's surface, the more momentum it lost.

200Km...

150Km...

90Km...

It was unaffected as it kept falling, and its rate of descent was slowing.

50Km...

30Km...

18Km...

When the light beam reached 5 kilometers from the planet's surface, it unexpectedly came to a halt and drifted in the middle of the sky, defying gravity.

If one looked closely at the enigmatic thing, one would discover a sparkling, blade-like object inside the light. It was a black katana with a curved, single-edged blade and weird markings. It was slightly broken, with some fractures evident on its surface, yet that didn't take away the otherworldly sense that it gave.

The black katana looked to be seeking something as it drifted motionless in the sky. The blade began to shake as it turned its tip in a precise direction, and then

"BOOM."

It returned to a light beam and shot at the speed of sound in the same direction it had previously pointed.

It appeared like an explosion had happened when the katana ripped through the skies. Once more, the katana cut through the skies. Fortunately, the katana landed in a secluded location. No one could have escaped if it had happened in a more crowded part of the world. The results would have been disastrous.

Earth, District: XXX XXX XXX

(A/N: Please keep in mind that this world has nothing to do with the earth on which we live; it was all made in my thoughts.)

A young man stood on top of a high mountain, observing the setting sun. On top of the mountain, watching the sunset, the young man was plainly waiting for someone.

He was at the top of the mountain, looking at the horizon, as if in anticipation of something.

He knew he had to wait, and he was sure that eventually the person he was waiting for would arrive.

Soon enough, the man's patience paid off when a lovely girl with short black hair and a long dress approached him from behind.

The young man's face brightened as he rose from his seat and approached the gorgeous girl. The young man walked slowly, smiling and looking at the girl.

His heart began to beat quicker than usual as he was captivated by the girl's beauty. While staring at her, he was smiling, but his grin faded as he observed the little girl frowning at him. She was clearly upset.

The young man opened his mouth, but not before taking a long breath. "Hey, Olivia, I'm glad you accepted my invitation to meet." With a smile, the young man continued.

"To be honest, I didn't think you'd show up."

"At first, I wasn't going to come, but I changed my mind, so Alex, why did you contact me and tell me to meet you here? "I don't have much time to waste on your stupid games." Olivia, the little girl, replied, her tone was cold.

Alex, the young man, was stunned after hearing the young lady's comments. "What made her so unfriendly to me?

Did I do something to annoy her? I invited her here to express my affections to her after three years of quiet admiration, and we are both graduating from high school. I believed it was time for me to confess; should I not?" Alex was unsure what to do next because he was having second thoughts about this matter.

"No! NO! If I don't confess to her now, I won't be able to confess again, and we'll be strangers after graduation. I can't afford to blow this chance." Alex paused for a while, then gazed into her eyes without hesitation.

"Olivia, I apologize for contacting you so abruptly, but could you perhaps hear me for a moment? I have something important I need to tell you."

"What is it exactly? Can you make it faster I don't have much time to squander with you, and I need to meet someone." Olivia arched an eyebrow as she angrily spoke at Alex.

After 3 years, he will be able to ask the girl he likes to be his girlfriend. His love for her was so overflowing that he didn't care about her cold tone.

Alex took a long breath and opened his mouth, ready to begin; there was no uncertainty on his face. "Olivia, for the past three years, I've kept my emotions for you as hidden as possible. But I can't stand it any longer; I love you, so... can you be my girlfriend!!" Alex raised his voice nervously, waiting for Olivia's response.

"Pfft"

Young Master's PoV: Woke Up As A Villain In A Game One Day

"Now you see?" she shouted in a tone that was somewhere between annoyance and disappointment. "You can’t outsmart Scrients! They’re the most intelligent beings across the two realms!" "You’re right," I muttered, averting my gaze with a solemn sigh. "I made a mistake. I was arrogant to think a mere human like me could fool them." —BOOM!! "...Wh-What was that?" "Hmm? I’m not sure. Maybe you should go and ask the most intelligent beings across the two realms. Oh wait! You can’t. I killed them all." --- My name is Samael Kaizer Theosbane. On the last day of high school, I got into a fight with a kid I used to bully. It was a stupid and pointless scuffle. And in the middle of it, I tripped and smacked my head on a rock. That’s when the memories came flooding in… Memories of a different life. Memories of another world. Suddenly, everything made a twisted kind of sense. I realized two things. First: I was inside a game I used to play in my past life. Second: I was a villain. A villain! Not the cool, mysterious, tragic kind either! No, I was the worst kind of cliché — a spoiled, insufferable, and arrogant young master. The sort you'd find in those poorly written fantasy stories. You know the type! The one everyone hates. The one the hero would beat into the ground to show everyone just how strong and righteous he is. Yeah. I was that guy! My fate was to be a stepping stone for the main characters, be manipulated by a Demon Prince, and die a dog's death. And the hero? The hero was the same kid I’d been bullying all this time. The one I just got into a fight with. He was supposed to be the savior of this damned world. A world teetering on the edge of destruction, beset by wars, calamities, and a grim future that only I knew. And waiting at the end of it all was the final antagonist. The unbeatable nightmare. …The Spirit King. But could I even make it to the end? Could I really survive in a game where defeat was the only certainty? A game that had now become my reality? “Ah, fuck it.” I had no idea if I could. But I sure as hell was going to try. Extorting extras, manipulating main characters, altering the story to my advantage, stealing the hero’s cheat items, killing villains long before they could become threats — nothing was beneath me. Would the main characters be affected by my actions? Excellent! Would the story change? Even better! All I cared about was me. My survival. My life. My choices. “I’ll live this life with no regrets.” ...But as I soon discovered, fate wasn't so easily changed. And the price of rewriting your destiny was steep. ========== Discord Server: https://discord.gg/VjFQtDUaTR
