Marcus honestly felt bad for the desperate attempt the droid took to cause harm to him. The T3 unit's head struggles to pop open as an electroshock prod was slowly but surely rising.
Once the droid tried to fire the weak lightning it short-circuited causing the poor droid to electrocute itself. Marcus then decided to just end the droid's suffering and shot the 'eye' with his Mandalorian heavy blaster.
Soon the droid's head exploded into light partials which were soon followed by the rest of its body alongside an electronic voice echoing within the room.
*" Simulation Completed "*
Marcus looked towards SN-21 with a 'what the hell was that?' kind of look as it was reasonable due to the droid he just slaughtered.
"What kind of simulation was that? I'm sure a child could have defeated that T3 unit with just a stick! A stick!" Marcus then moved over towards the console as she responded.
"The simulation would train your sense of danger as that T3 unit had a hidden thermal detonator, why did you think the droid kept moving towards you? If you decided to toy around with it, you would have ended up receiving electric burns all over your body." as SN-21 said this Marcus paused in astonishment. She continued.
"The entire point of that simulation was for you to learn that no matter how much you believed that something or someone is defeated you should never let your guard down." Marcus took her words to heart and vowed that no matter what, he would remain on alert when fighting.
Marcus then began looking at the combat-focused simulations and found one that piqued his interest.
*Mandalorian (Kotor) - The Mandalorians were a clan-based cultural group that was composed of members from multiple species all bound by a common culture, creed, and code. They originated on the planet Mandalore in the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories and had a particularly important role in galactic history as legendary warriors against the Jedi.*
Marcus felt that this simulation would be considered an 'endgame' as learning from a Mandalorian during the Kotor Era would be highly difficult but highly rewarding.
"What are the odds of me defeating this simulation as of now?" hearing the question, SN-21 examined the simulation he was looking at and she responded instantly.
"Zero percent commander. The Mandalorians are warriors made for combat, be it hand-to-hand combat to marksmen. They would defeat you almost instantly." Marcus was both joyful and depressed at her words.
He was joyful because beating Mandalorians would mean that he was highly skilled and could defeat any old joe while being capable of fighting Jedi and Sith even with their force ability.
The cause for his depressing thoughts was that he would end up getting beaten up day in and day out for who knows how long.
"Well I guess I need to start somewhere, SN-21, if anything important happens then, inform me immediately." as she left the room Marcus began the simulation causing a Mandalorian wearing red armor to form.
Not even half a second later, Marcus was laying on his back while his chest was burning. He looked towards the hologram who had his blaster drawn as it soon faded out of existence causing a voice to echo once more.
*" Simulation Failed, Cause of death: Blaster to the heart "*
Marcus could only grunt out in pain as he sat up and muttered out.
"This is gonna take a while..." After a short period of rest, he began the simulation again.
*" Simulation Failed, Cause of death: headshot "*
And again
*" Simulation Failed, Cause of death: blood loss "*
And again
*" Simulation Failed, Cause of death: Force blunt Trauma "*
And again for an unknown amount tries...

Meanwhile, SN-21 was monitoring his progress and slow improvements with each 'death' while simultaneously reviewing reports given by the war droids.
She came across reports of damages caused by Xeno's during capture operations while other reports detailing the human population's life improvements.
She then noted that the commander should soon appear before the population as he has yet to show his face. Rumors are popping up that their 'savors' are pure Machines who are after something else and only appear to be helping.
She felt the 'irony' as yes they were after something but they wanted them. Civilian. fanatics even. Once she finished reviewing the reports on Jakku she then focused her attention on the reports from Odessen.
Production of Starships we're on schedule, same with the droids and the Research and Development was up and coming but she then came across a flagged report.
It detailed that there has been a small skirmish with Pirates and that there was a likely chance more would appear.
SN-21 debated if this was something worth informing the commander immediately or once he finished training and then decided to wait...
So I thought that Jakku already had some ships but I've been informed otherwise. At this point, all I can say is just pretend that Jakku already had ships crashed on it before the empire was destroyed there.
Don't remember the battlefront 2 story much so yeah.
Hope you enjoyed the chapter.
