Really flat MC, he has less of a personality than the Pokemon he has, creates a beyond boring and narcissitic name for his ranch which learning this was translated makes more sense now, and talks about the pokemon he could get for his ranch but says I can't do it cause no pokeballs yet not a single one he owns for the chapters I read through does he ever catch cause it's not strictly required.

One of the best Pokemon fics with a truly heartwarming and kind Mc. It's a treat to read if you enjoy the slice of life, the magical bond of friendship. Each pokemon has distinct personalities, some adorable, some gentle and wise etc. The arcs actually build up to climaxes and most characters stay relevant. It's also surprisingly funny at times with how the pokemon act. Now onto critiques, the battle descriptions for normal battles could be better. It's not bad, since the main set piece battles are still entertaining. As for romance it takes a back seat and is a side focus. The fmc identity is spoiled before the romance even starts which annoyed me a bit. It's not too bad though since I only care about the main story. The fic barely has any typos and the descriptions are captivating too. I wholeheartedly recommend this fic.
