Chapter 17: Sports Festival Part 1

A/N: So I've come up with a semi-good power scaling chart for myself, but I've decided I'm not gonna use it TOO much, and rather just gonna focus on story rather than the scaling itself. Since the scaling is for Attack Potency (Strength/Intelligence/Vitality Stat). Speed scaling probs won't exist for me, just think of it as high stat = high speed. I included INT stat with STR because of mana, and VIT stat because it's included in the vs battles wiki.

In battle though, it'll be quite obvious what Yuuto's speed is though since I'll make it clear by stuff like, 'He's too fast', etc. Rather than the actual powerscaling for speed such as hypersonic, etc.

By my scaling though, as of now (By my scaling):

Strength: Large City Block Level

Vitality: Small Town Level

Speed: Fast :)

Intelligence/Mana: City Block Level

Just to clarify, the 'Level' is if he was to give 100%, obviously not every punch is Large City Block Level for Yuuto.

"THE STUDENTS ARE MAKING THEIR ENTRY NOW!!" Present Mic announced to the loud crowd screaming in excitement, "PLEASE WELCOMEEE... CLASS, 1-AAA" He screamed, pissing Aizawa off who was right next to him in the announcers room.

The crowd cheered louder in anticipation for the renowned class that managed to survive a villain attack.

Walking out, class 1-A was mostly shocked at the overwhelming amount of people and their cheers aimed towards them.

Though, some were waving with joy in return, were either used to it and ignored it, or were just unbothered by it.

"NOW WELCOME CLASSES B, C, D... AND THE OTHERS!" Present Mic announced, underlining the other classes compared to 1-A's entrance.

"Wow, thanks for treating us like a bunch of foil" Students from those classes complained in jealousy.

"Now Now, Fair play!" A feminine shout gained everyone's attention.

Turning to the small stage, the freshmen of UA could see a tall, curvaceous woman with sky blue eyes wearing a hero costume that was... seductive, per se.

"Holy smokes! It's the R-Rated hero - Midnight!" A student simped with lust-filled eyes.

"What, R-Rated? As in 18+? Even though this is a high school? Is that really okay?" Someone asked, to which someone else shouted in response

"Of course it's fine!"

"Wow. Bet you wouldn't be saying that if she wasn't good-looking" The student shot back. Before a full-blown argument were to begin from these few words, Midnight silenced the crowd with a loud snapping sound from her whip (Don't know if she had a whip, but she does now).

"SILENCE!! MY TENURE HERE IS PERFECTLY ON THE LEVEL!!" She then fake coughed in order to tone down her voice a little, "Now, may the student representative: Yuuto, please come on stage!"

"Eh? Yuuto's gonna go on stage? What for?" Nejire obliviously asked.

"He got first place in the exams, remember?" Kirishima replied, ignoring a comment from a student with a nudge to Yuuto who sighed in complaint.

"Pfffft! This will be funny to watch" Nejire chuckled at Yuuto who unwillingly walked to the stage.

Arriving at the stage, Midnight stepped away - letting Yuuto be in the spotlight.

Looking over all the students faces, Yuuto spent a quick second thinking about what to say/do, to which he came up with one thing:

"[Monarch's Indifference]: Good luck to all of the students here, you'll need it, and I hope you all put up atleast a little bit of a challenge" The crowd was silent as he deactivated his skill, before laughs could be heard that escaped from Kaminari's, Kirishima's, Nejire's and Ashido's mouths.

"PFTHAHAHAHA! BRO THINKS HE'S SOME COOL ASS ANIME CHARACTER!" Kaminari rolled on the floor.

"AHAHA! I KNOW, RIGHT?! HE REMINDED ME OF BAKUGO IF HE HAD ATLEAST THE MINIMUM AMOUNT OF MANNERS!" Kirishima joined Kaminari in the rolling, ignoring the screaming of a walking-talking-living bomb.

"Aaahh~ Man, I bet he thought that sounded so cool" Ashido wiped the tear that shed from all her laughter.

"I mean, it was kinda cool, in terms of not being boring and long. Though it was definitely embarrassing" Nejire bluntly noted after having released her own sets of laughter.

Walking back to the group, Yuuto could see Kaminari and Kirishima rolling on the floor, crying and laughing while hugging each other - very manly. He ignored them and went up to Nejire and Ashido who pat him on the back and shoulder out of pity.

(A/N: May be OOC, but it is what it is, I'm gonna make their personalities so that it suits this ff for me)

"Alright! With that we can move on directly onto our first event!" Midnight announced, ignoring the 2 sides of the crowds: The joking/laughing side, and the serious/angry side.

"Onto the 'Preliminaries' as they're called! This year's first round of events is~..." A silent drumroll filled the arena in anticipation of the first event,

"The 'OBSTACLE RACE'!

It's a race between all 11 classes, with the course making about a 4km ring around the stadium!

We always go on about the freedom of this school... and this is exactly where you're able to do that! You are allowed to do anything and everything as long as you remain within this obstacle course!"

Midnight paused her instructions, allowing a few UA staff to come out and lead the first years to the starting line.

With everyone in position, Midnight began, "Let the race begin! On your marks...

Get set..."

Every student were now in their starting position, ready to run, and waiting for the

"GOGOGOOOO!!"

With an explosive start, Yuuto left the students in the dust who were stuck in between the narrow start gate.

"AND WITH THAT, THE OBSTACLE COURSE EVENT HAS BEGUN, WITH YUUTO FROM CLASS 1-A TAKING FIRST PLACE RIGHT FROM THE GET-GOOOOOOOOO!" Present Mic announced the obvious to the once again ear-piercing cheering crowd.

Whilst Yuuto got an amazing start, it was now time for the first obstacle to appear and get in the way of his race.

"HERE COME THE OBSTACLES! AND FROM THE VERY OUTSET, THE FIRST OBSTACLE WILL BE A ROBO INFERNO" Present Mic shouted.

The robots that appeared in front of Yuuto appeared to be 0-Pointers from the entrance exam.

'Great memories' He smirked devilishly.

Not wasting any time, he ran full-sprint towards the feet of the robot in front of him, ignoring the constant shouting from Present Mic up in the announcers room.

Unable to react to his speed, the 0-Pointer - the target of Yuuto's attack - shook before it slowly collapsed, colliding with a few of the other 0-pointers, forming a massive tower of Robo Inferno rubble.

Obviously, Yuuto ran under the 0-pointers before it collapsed, getting him through the first obstacle.

"OH, MY, GODDD! WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT! WITH A QUICK, STRONG PUNCH TO THE ROBOT'S LEG, THE ROBO INFERNO COLLAPSED ON TOP OF SOME OF THE OTHER'S"

Seeing an ice-path-riding Todoroki and a few others approaching the robot obstacle, Present Mic wondered, "LET'S SEE HOW THE OTHER'S WILL REACT!"

As expected, Todoroki similarly dealt with the robots easily, freezing them in place allowing for him to ride past.

"I wouldn't go under them if I were you" He warned, because as soon as he rode past and the other students thought they got a free pass, the frozen robots collapsed.

And with that, Yuuto remained first place, with Todoroki being a close second.

Though, Yuuto wasn't going at his full speed... no one needs to know that though.

A/N: I'm gonna try and speed through the Sports festival, but not too fast.
