One Piece: Finally Free

This is a story about a boy that witnessed his little brother being killed by his abusive and drug-addicted parents. After immediately taking his revenge and ending up dying while crying and hugging his little brother, he gets transmigrated into the one-piece world with a 5-year-old body. What will he do after finding out that he transmigrated here alone in a dangerous world full of monsters? Will he give up on life or continue living and finally be free. There will be no system or cheats. He will have knowledge about the One Piece world and use that to his advantage. He will have to train like any other person and he won’t get some manual that explains Haki to him. There also won’t be a harem. He is the same age as Ace and Sabo so he transmigrated 15 years before the start of the storyline. **Disclaimers** -All copyrighted content is the property of its respective owner(s). -I don't own the cover. Chapter 19

[Next day]

[Laffitte P.O.V.]

*BAM*

The captain punched me into a tree.

"What are you doing? I told you to dodge."

I glared at him, but I immediately regretted it.

*BAM*

He kicked me on my side, sending me flying again.

"ARGH!"

He appeared in front of me.

"Listen, Laffitte. If you don't want to get hit, just use the technique I taught you."

"I'm trying, but it's too hard."

"Alright, that was the wrong answer. You should have said, yes, sir, and I will do my best, sir."

He suddenly took out one of his swords.

"Now you won't get any second chances. You either dodge or die!"

*WOOSH*

He swung his sword at me, and I just managed to dodge before he cut me in half.

'I swear that I'll kill him when I'm strong enough.'

He kept trying to slice me in half, and I only managed to dodge by a hair.

'If this keeps going on, I'll die. I'll need to learn this technique quickly. He said that I need to hit the ground ten times in a second, but I fall down every time I do it.'

<Soru>

I fell down face first. He was about to swing his sword again.

*WOOSH*

I just managed to roll out of the way.

'Wait, what am I doing!? Why am I running away? This isn't how I do things. I'm always the one who is chasing!'

I stood up and glared at him.

"You better be ready, captain, because I'm done playing around."

He smirked.

"Whatever you say."

I started running towards him. He had an amused look on his face and swung down his sword.

<Soru>

I appeared in front of him.

*BAM*

I hit him straight in his face.

"ARGH!"

I jumped back and looked at my hand, which was bleeding.

"Hahaha, good job, Laffitte. I knew you could do it."

I glared at him.

"Don't look at me like that. Go to Deuce to look after your hand."

I was about to walk away.

"Oh, and Laffitte."

"Yes, captain?"

He smiled at me.

"You're much nicer than I imagined. I hope we can have a lot of fun on our journey."

"Tsk."

I turned around and started walking towards the lighthouse.

'What does he mean, I'm nice. I tried to kill him back there. I'm sure he could sense my killing intent, so why does he talk like that? I need to find a place where I can dump them and find a better crew.'

I arrived at the lighthouse and walked in.

"Yo, Laffitte. Why are you here?"

I showed him my hand.

"Oh, you must have been training with Ken."

I nodded.

"Hahaha, that guy doesn't know when to hold back. Come here and sit down."

I sat down on a chair.

"Why are you laughing? He almost killed me."

"Did he use his sword?"

I nodded.

"Hahaha, you don't have to worry."

"Hm?"

He came closer and whispered in my ear.

"Don't tell Ken that I said this, but his swords strikes don't cut anything. If you get hit by it, it only hurts a lot, but that's it."

"Are you serious?"

He nodded.

'Now that I think about it, I didn't feel any malicious or killing intent the whole time.'

Deuce started bandaging up my hand.

"Here you go. It should be fine in like a day or two."

"Thank you."

He smiled at me.

"No problem. We are crewmates, after all."

'Crewmates, huh.'

I bowed and left the lighthouse.

"AAHH!" x2

I could hear Ace and Sabo screaming.

'They must be training with him. I'll go and take a nap.'

[Ken P.O.V.]

I'm currently beating the shit out of Sabo and Ace.

"What are you guys doing? Kami-e isn't so difficult."

"Easy for you to say Mr. Perfect." said Sabo

"Huh? You're acting like I didn't spend day and night training."

"Then why are you saying that it is easy?" asked Ace

"Because it is easy. Now stop talking and receive this beating!"

[2 weeks later]

I am currently punching Laffitte, and he isn't moving an inch.

"Good job, just hang on for a little longer."

*BAM*

*BAM*

*BAM*

I stopped punching him.

"Good job, your Tekkai is at an acceptable level now. Have a rest, and I'll teach you Kami-e tomorrow."

I was about to walk away.

"Captain."

"Yes?"

He was hesitating.

"Nevermind."

"If you want to talk about something, you know where to find me."

He nodded.

I walked away.

'He has been acting weird lately. Or maybe that's just how he always is.'

I walked towards the sea. I took most of my clothes off and only left my shorts and swords. I jumped into the sea and started swimming towards the bottom. It was only 30 meters (100 feet) deep.

I slowed my breathing down and started to punch and kick the water. After twenty minutes of doing that, I went up to get some breath. After getting my breath back to normal, I went back down, and this time I started to use my swords.

It was a little challenging since Sandai Kitetsu was trying to cut down all the fish that I could see.

'Damn this stupid sword. And to think that this is the weakest one.'

I looked at the sword.

'Don't play tough with me. I will even conquer your grandfather!'

(AN: Referring to Shodai Kitetsu. It's the Supreme Grade sword which is made by the same guy that made Sandai Kitetsu.)

I kept training like this for 6 hours straight.

I jumped out of the water and picked up my clothes. I went inside my cabin and dried myself off with a towel and put on my clothes.

I walked out of my cabin and saw a marine ship coming towards us. Everyone came back to the ship.

"What should we do, Ken?" asked Sabo

"They came with one ship, so I don't think that they want to fight. Unless Garp or a Vice-Admiral is on that ship, but in that case, we are completely screwed."

The ship docked next to us. A normal looking marine stepped up.

"Pirate, Ken. I have a letter from Marine Headquarters."

He held an envelope in his hands.

*WOOSH*

I grabbed the envelope and appeared back on my ship. I started reading the letter.

After I finished reading the letter, I burned it with a lighter.

"You can go back now. I will send my answer to Sengoku when I have one."

He was about to speak.

I glared at him.

"You should listen to me if you value your life."

He hesitated but gave up in the end. They turned their ship around and left.

"What was that all about?" asked Ace

"They want me to become one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea."

The looked surprised.

"Will you accept it?" asked Laffitte

"I doubt it. But who knows what the future has in store for us. Now let's eat something. I'm hungry."
