Shadow in shadow 4

In the room sat Nemo, her arms wrapped around her knees, which were tucked by her head. Beside her, the phone rang, and her classmates spoke outside the door. She didn't want to do anything at the moment, just lie in the shadow and pretend not to exist.

Nemo: "Why weren't they cheering for me? I don't understand, I won."

Nemo glanced at her phone.

Nemo: "Maybe Father is right. Maybe I should give up and slip back into my shadow, invisible to everyone again. It will be better for me and for others."

As Nemo drowned in her thoughts, the girls started talking to her again.

Uraraka: "Anemo-san, please at least talk to us. I don't know what happened between you and Mina, but please, at least talk to us, or at least respond, please."

All Nemo wanted right now was peace, space, time. Her whole life, she had followed Mina in her shadow. In fact, she only enrolled in this school because Mina wanted to.

In the course of a few days, Nemo's perspective had changed. Slowly but surely, she began to doubt her abilities, what she was even doing in hero school when she was afraid to lift a finger. What was she even playing at?

But slowly, she wanted to be someone. She noticed that her only friend didn't know anything about her. She never asked her anything. How she was, what she was doing, how her parents were... what her favorite color was... food... just... nothing.

She didn't know what to do. Because of this school, she saw the truth about her life; she was nobody. Nobody cared about her. Her emotions were on the verge of eruption, like a volcano. Her emotions wanted to surface, out of the chains that had held them inside for all these years.

Nemo didn't want to show her strength, didn't want fame, money, anything like that. She just wanted to be accepted for who she was. She just wanted to belong somewhere. By winning, maybe people would accept her.

Nemo closed herself off in her thoughts. For the first time in her life, she wanted to try, to show everyone who she was, that she could be a hero.

The girls outside the door didn't know what to do. They tried to talk to Nemo or at least wanted some response, but nothing.

In a while, there was supposed to be a match, where Nemo was supposed to face Bakugo. And the girls didn't want to move; they knew Nemo would have to leave the room. So they waited and waited. But still, nothing. Suddenly, P. Mic announced the start of the match.

P.Mic: "So ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the semifinals, YEAA. On one side, we have the explosive boy, KATSUKIII BAKUGOOO."

Bakugo stepped onto the platform, and behind him, the crowd could be heard, starting to support him. He had his classic scowling face. He waited for his opponent.

P.Mic: "And on the other side is the girl who simply defeated her opponents. ANEMOO NEMOO."

Nemo stepped onto the platform, and silence. No one cheered for her. This worsened Nemo's already bad mood.

Meanwhile, the girls were amazed. They didn't know how Nemo had left the room without anyone noticing her.

The answer was simple: Nemo used her Quirk so she wouldn't have to deal with it.

Bakugo looked at her cautiously. He accepted her as a suitable opponent, so he would go at her with all his might.

Nemo just smiled her shark-like smile.

Nemo: "Hey, explosive boy. I'm surprised you're so calm; last time I saw you on TV, when was it... hmmm yeah, I remember when that slime engulfed you. And if I remember correctly, Broccoli had to save you, if I'm not mistaken. Always in Broccoli's shadow. I'm surprised Broccoli even bothered with you when he was stronger than you."

Bakugo's face looked like that of a demon from the depths of hell. There were small explosions in his palms.

Bakugo: "I'll kill you."

Midnight raised her hand.

Midnight: "Prepare, attention, START."

Bakugo began to use his explosions and was a meter away from Nemo. He didn't think about anything; he just exploded with anger and tried to attack her recklessly, without any plan.

A second later, there was a huge explosion. Bakugo used his Quirk on Nemo's head from meters away. She didn't avoid it and began to fall to the ground. But Bakugo saw that she was smiling.

Nemo's body turned into a dark shadow.

At the beginning, Nemo hid in her shadow and created a clone, naming that clone Doppelman.

Bakugo lost his smile when suddenly his body stopped, and he punched himself in the face.

Fortunately, Bakugo used his Quirk to push himself away from the shadow.

Suddenly, Nemo ran towards him; it was another one of her Doppelman.

Bakugo reached out his hand, and a huge explosion erupted from it. Suddenly, Nemo was nowhere to be seen on the platform; everyone was confused.

Suddenly, Bakugo's body stopped; he couldn't move. In panic, he decided to use his quirk. But his hands moved in front of him. And it propelled him off the platform. A second before that, Nemo emerged from his shadow.

Midnight: "Bakugo off the platform, winner Anemo Nemo."

"..."

Nemo gritted her teeth and started to walk off the platform, her head bowed down. And she went back to that room. But someone was waiting for her there, not her classmates, but All Might.

All Might: "Young Anemo, can we talk for a moment."

This angered Nemo even more. She just wants to be alone. And for no one to bother her.

Nemo started to go to her room. But All Might put his hand on her shoulder.

All Might: "Young Anemo, please just for a moment, this isn't healthy to suppress emotions like this I will help you."

Nemo stopped in her tracks and turned to him.

Nemo: "AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT WHAT'S GOING ON. LOOK AT MEEE, I'M PERFECT AND THE STRONGEST HERO, ALL MIGHT WILL FIX EVERYTHING."

Nemo took a deep breath and calmed down. It was quite dangerous how quickly she changed her mood from explosion to calm.

Nemo: "You don't know anything about me. Leave me alone."

Nemo used her Quirk and slipped into the room, where she closed herself off.
