With the final match finally beginning, the audience was visibly oozing with anticipation for the fight and the final outcome.

"Match begins!"

The fight starts off tenaciously with Todoroki launching a huge never ending glacier of ice towards Bakugo who constantly erupted explosions from his hands to block the incoming attacks.

Todoroki stopped once Bakugo couldn't be seen anymore and paused his relentless attack. But as expected, a couple seconds later Bakugo's figure became visible. He had drilled a hole out of the glacier using his explosions.

Bakugo propelled himself towards Todoroki the same way he did earlier with Eira.

Eira watched everything unfold, it was like deja vu for her, except Todoroki was the one in her position.

He reached out with his hand and attempted to grab Bakugo by the wrist to stop the incoming attack. However, at the last second, Bakugo outmaneuvered Todoroki by erupting an explosion from his last hand to shoot himself to the right causing Todoroki to be in shock.

The audience was also left in awe too, surprised at the quick last second maneuver Bakugo displayed.

"Not bad." Eira said.

"It looks like he learned something new after that fight with you." Momo said.

"You were watching?" Eira asked.

"Of course!" Momo said cheerfully. "Anyone with a dream to become a hero would be watching you, you're amazing!"

Eira chuckled, "Don't worry, you'll be a hero. I can promise you that."

"Thank you," Momo said with a smile. "What made you want to become a hero anyway?"

"Hmm…" Eira hummed while leaning back into the chair. "It's not like I wanted to become a hero, it just happened because of how much potential my quirk had. I want to be just like the rest of you, students dedicating themselves to achieve their dream. A rather fun and unserious childhood I want, but maybe that's a bit childish to think about."

Momo shook her head, "I don't think that's childish at all considering you were already a pro hero at a young age while I was probably fooling around. You also said you were gone for three years, what did you do during that time?"

"Just training and gaining experience. Met with some interesting people and set a goal for myself." Eira said. "The battle is coming to an end, pay attention."

Bakugo was in the air turning himself into a human projectile, it was like the same attack he did to Eira. But this time, it seemed like it held more power, and was much quicker than before.

Todoroki also prepared his final attack with fire blazing along his left eye and left arm. He held out his hand towards Bakugo and prepared for the incoming attack.

Eira watched amusedly.

"He really used his flames."

However, right before the two collided, Eira noticed that Todoroki had purposely put out the flames.

He had taken on Bakugo's attack directly.

As the smoke dissipated, Todoroki could be seen knocked out while Bakugo was screaming at him along the lines of "wake up! A win like this is trash!"

After the winners of the festival were awarded, the event ended with everyone preparing to go home.

"Eira, why don't you stay for a little bit?"

Eira turned to the familiar voice with her eyes widened in surprise.

"Is that you, Yu?" Eira asked with hints of excitement in her tone.

Mineyama Hero, Mt. Lady, also known as Yu Takeya. A young woman who has purple eyes with white pupils and elegantly long eyelashes. She has long creamy blonde hair reaching down to her waist with two shorter strands curled to frame her face, parted slightly to her right.

Without a doubt, she was a pretty woman.

"You're finally back, Eira!" Yu exclaimed, running over to Eira, and giving her a bear hug. "Why didn't you come visit me once you arrived?"

Eira smiled at Yu, she's known her since she was thirteen meaning they've known each other for four years now. Once a mentor, now a close friend of hers.

She chuckled and leaned into the warmth Yu gave off.

"I was planning to come to you the first thing I arrived at, but I decided to go to the festival, and give a certain someone a hard time." Eira said.

"Still as cheeky as ever." Yu said, pulling away from the hug. "Why don't you accompany me tomorrow morning? I have to patrol the city for a bit."

"Alright, I'll make sure to visit you. I don't have anything to do anyway unless the Hero Association calls me for something." Eira said.

"But you'll ignore them for me won't you?"

"Of course, no hesitation either."

Yu grinned, "Then I'll see you tomorrow."

Eira waved goodbye and watched as Yu left alongside her patrol partner. The sky was slowly turning dark and strangely, she had a feeling of something amiss.

She was walking towards her home, a place that had been empty for three whole years. Ever since she left, it was left alone. She felt like there wasn't a need to hire someone to clean it once in a while anyway since no one would be coming.

Eira unlocked the door and slowly opened it.

"I'm home."

A cold breeze of wind hit her face once she entered the house. Turning on the lights, everything was still the same, except there was a lot more dust everywhere.

On the wall next to her bedroom, there was a picture of her standing next to Yu on her graduation. Her fingers slightly traced the painting as the corner of her lip lifted up.

Within the icy heart of hers, the painting was the only thing keeping it warm.

The last thing she needed to check was the backyard, the dummies that once stood were now broken, and covered in dried leaves. Endless hours she had put into hitting the dummies over and over again.

Eira was about to pick up the dummy when her instincts screamed at her to turn around. Instantly, she created a sword out of ice, and blocked the katana that was aiming for her neck.

Eira glanced up and stared into the small red eyes that were filled with killing intent.

"Hero Killer, Stain. As expected, you have been following me since I left the school. But to follow me into my home and try to sneak attack me, do you have no shame?"

Stain grinned, "A murderer has no shame, just like you."

Eira's face turned stoic and more serious.

"You're right, but the thing that separates us is the fact that what I'm doing is for the greater good." Eira said.

Stain licked the tip of his blade, "That's what you think, but we are more alike than you know it."

"Speak again and I'll cut off your tongue. We both know who would win if we were to fight right now." Eira said.

"Hehehehe, I was just giving you a warning. What I've come for has already been done, you'll find out soon." Stain said.

In a blink of an eye, he disappeared from Eira's sight, as everything seemed to turn back to normal. The feeling of dread had finally disappeared.

"Now it's time for some sleep."
