Chapter 31

A.N: I actually have forgotten how Monarch of Plague fights, I swear I've read a chapter where she was attacking herself, but I wasn't too sure, and I'm like 25 chapters advanced so I can't change this chapter, just think of her as a summoner more than a fighter.

Also, every 100 stones is extra 1 chapter, if we reach 500 stones I give you extra 7 chapters, should be a good challenge for you f**kers

Kade was looking at an infected lying down on a metal table, its head split open and the stomach cut in the middle. He had been experimenting, trying to figure out how he could control all these "people" telepathically. His thoughts were interrupted when he felt someone watching him.

He looked around the room but found nothing. Then he saw a fly that seemed to be staring at him intently. Walking towards the fly, Kade caught it between his fingertips. "Stop watching through your bugs and come here yourself."

No one responded for a moment, but suddenly a rift opened behind him. A tall, attractive woman stepped out, followed by a muscular man wearing beast fur and adorned with jewelry made of animal bones.

Kade watched with amusement as they approached him with haughty smiles, as if they were above everyone.

The woman, Querehsha, the Queen of Insects, spoke first. "Kade, your power has impressed us. We've been observing you. My name is Querehsha the Queen of Insects, and this is Rakan, the King of Beasts."

Rakan grunted in acknowledgment, his eyes gleaming with a predatory light.

"We have an offer for you," Querehsha continued. "Join us, the Monarchs. Together, we can rule over these humans, who are nothing more than fodder. Your talents would be valuable in our ranks."

Kade's smile widened. "And why would I want to join you?"

Rakan stepped forward, his voice a low growl. "Because together, we are unstoppable. Humans are weak, but with our combined strength, we can crush any opposition including those winged bastards."

Kade chuckled, clearly amused. "So, you see humans as nothing but fodder? How…naive."

Querehsha's expression turned cold. "Do not mock us, Kade. We are offering you power and dominion beyond your wildest dreams."

Kade's smile didn't waver. "I appreciate the offer, but I have no interest in being anyone's pawn anymore. I prefer to be incharge"

Rakan's eyes narrowed. "You dare reject us?"

Kade's gaze remained steady. "I do. Now, unless you have something else to offer like being my minion, I suggest you leave."

Offended by Kade's refusal, Rakan roared, his muscles bulging as he prepared to attack. "You will regret this, human!"

Kade stood his ground, his smile turning into a smirk. "Just that and you already went berserk? How easy"

Rakan lunged forward with the speed and power of a beast. Kade dodged effortlessly, his movements fluid and precise. Querehsha summoned a swarm of insects, which surged towards Kade, their buzzing filling the room.

Kade moved with inhuman agility, avoiding Rakan's strikes and the swarm of insects with ease. He countered with quick, powerful blows, each one landing with devastating effect. Rakan roared in pain and fury, his attacks becoming more frantic.

Querehsha directed her swarm with precision, trying to overwhelm Kade, but he was too fast. With a swift motion, he summoned dark tendrils that slashed through the air, cutting through the insects like they were nothing.

"You think you can defeat me with bugs and brute strength?" Kade taunted, his voice filled with confidence.

Rakan charged again, his fists swinging wildly. Kade sidestepped and delivered a powerful kick to Rakan's side, sending him crashing into the wall. Querehsha, seeing her ally fall, unleashed a more intense wave of insects, but Kade's tendrils tore through them effortlessly.

Rakan got back on his feet, shaking off the debris. He growled, his eyes filled with rage. He transformed, his body growing larger and more muscular, covered in thick fur and with a primal roar, he charged at Kade with renewed ferocity.

Kade was curious by Rakan's transformation. The King of Beasts was faster and stronger than before. Rakan's claws slashed through the air, narrowly missing Kade as he dodged.

Querehsha seized the opportunity and directed her insects to swarm Kade from all sides. The room filled with the buzzing of countless wings, and Kade found himself momentarily overwhelmed.

Kade focused, his dark tendrils slashing through the swarm, his body had accumulated wounds and cuts from both monarchs but he couldn't feel them, hell he didn't even feel fatigued.

Rakan's relentless attacks forced him to stay on the defensive. Kade's regeneration abilities were being tested to their limits as he fended off both Monarchs.

"You're strong, but not invincible," Querehsha taunted, her eyes gleaming with malice.

Kade's smile never wavered. "Neither are you."

Kade knew he had to change his strategy. He focused his energy, summoning more tendrils to fend off the insects while countering Rakan's attacks. He targeted Rakan's weak points, delivering a series of rapid, powerful strikes that gradually wore down the King of Beasts.

Rakan roared in frustration, his movements becoming more erratic. Kade saw his chance and delivered a devastating blow to Rakan's chest, sending him crashing to the ground.

Querehsha's eyes widened in shock. She summoned her most powerful insects, massive beetles with armor-like shells, and sent them charging at Kade.

Kade's tendrils wrapped around the beetles, crushing them with immense force and consuming it. He turned his attention to Querehsha, his smile cold and menacing. "Your turn."

Querehsha backed away, her confidence wavering. She tried to summon more insects, but Kade was relentless. He moved with blinding speed, closing the distance between them. His tendrils lashed out, slicing through the swarm and striking Querehsha.

She cried out in pain, her control over the insects faltering. Kade's tendrils wrapped around her, lifting her off the ground. "You underestimated me, a human" he said, his voice low and dangerous.

Rakan, still on the ground, struggled to rise but was too weak to intervene. Kade tightened his grip on Querehsha, his tendrils constricting around her.

While Kade was distracted with fighting Querehsha, a rift open and an ice fired out hitting Kade's back, freezing it on the process.

The rift reopened next to Querehsha and Rakan, and with a final glare, Querehsha and Rakan retreated, disappearing into the portal.

As the rift began to close, Kade's smile returned as he melted the ice just by his body heat, and he called out to Querehsha, "You know, if you ever get tired of bugs, we could have some fun."

Querehsha's eyes flashed with fury and something else as she vanished into the rift. Kade watched them go, his smile never fading. "Pathetic," he muttered to himself. "They have no idea just how terrifying humans can be"
