Cleaning Up

After a few hours of traveling the elders went to separate rooms to cultivate and rest. All of the other cultists seemed to just sit on the ground where they stood barely moving or anything. Before I headed off to my room to finish my business I went to find my parents. After around 30 minutes of looking through the crowd of cultists I finally spotted them after spending awhile cursing the short baby body that I am stuck in. After getting to them I got the attention of the both of them and asked them to follow me. They stood up and started following me towards my room without any complaint or question or anything. 

Once we got to my room I told both of them to sit in a set of chairs by the wall as I went to ask the system some questions before setting my plans into motion.

[Mihael] Hey system will <Absorb > work on the souls connected to my mana realm through the <Subordinate Bond> skill?

[Mihael] Okay thank you system. Also one more question. Can you tell me the cost and extra effects if I upgrade the <Absorb > skill.

[Mihael] Its suspicious that it costs 1SP when that's all I have left but maybe the system is just making it easier for me. System please upgrade <absorb > to lvl 2.

[Mihael] Alright now that that is done time to use <Absorb > on the elders. 

Looking into my mana realm and into the temple I saw my soul sitting on the throne with the 8 elders around. There was a small thread of mana connecting the elders soul to my soul with wisps of mana flowing from them to me through the thread. With just a thought I activated <Absorb > on the souls of the elders. Right after the eyes of my soul flew open as it began to shape shift into the Nephilim form. The wings spread wide and the horns grew out looking kind of like a crown on the head. The eyes shined with a black and white light casting the elders souls in it. The light on my forehead began shining red as the thread leading to the elders souls began turning red and draining the energy from the elders at a greater speed. Right after I heard the system activate.

Coming out of my mana realm I looked at my parents sitting in the chairs. They were waking up from whatever was controlling them. It seemed that using <Absorb > on the elders broke their spells holding the others in their thrall. 

[Mihael] Are you two okay? Can you hear me and understand me?

Suddenly they both got up and ran to me. They began crying as my mom started speaking.

[Usiel] My god my baby I am so sorry about what happened to you. We tried to fight the spell put on us but it was to strong. We were tricked and trapped. We saw what happened to you and your brother during the ritual and we wanted so much to rush in and stop it but we couldn't.

[Raziel] We are sorry son for what happened but how did you break the spell on us? How are we free to talk to you?

[Mihael] The god that the cultists wanted to revive using me and my brother kind of worked. We were fused together into one person. The god they worship spoke to me and granted me a few blessings. One of them is to absorb things with mana to grow my own strength. The other is this. 

As I said that I undid my cloaking reveling the changes to my parents. They both looked at me in shock but it soon faded as they looked at each other before nodding. 

[Usiel] They didn't give you the bloodline of the Nephilim son. They just awakened it. 

[Raziel] Yes we need to show something to you. And while you are still young you seem very mature.

[Mihael] Yes both Artemis and Raphael had lived a previous life before their souls were sent to this world to be reborn. I remember both of their sets of memories.

[Usiel] That would make sense. You have a very strong soul and mind for only being 6 months old. Alright it is time we showed you our secret.

They both stepped back and began to grow wings out of their backs. Both were feathered with my moms being white like an angel and my fathers being black like a devil. My mother had a halo that began to shine above her head as her pupils changed from the green that they were to a gold color. My father on the other hand grew horns that wrapped around his head as his pupils turned into a crimson blood color.

[Usiel] This is our true forms. I am an angel while your father a devil. We are supposed to be enemies but we fell in love.

[Raziel] We then ran away and decided to live pretending to be humans. That was how the cult leaders tricked us. We let our guards down when you were born and they slipped a potion into our drinks that wormed its way into our mana realm. Sealing our power into our bodies and placing us under their orders. 

[Usiel] But we are back and we aren't going anywhere. Nobody will take us away from you again.

Just then I heard the system activate.
