When I saw this I decided to alert my parents before using the energy to upgrade my core and bloodline.

[Mihael] Mom, Dad I need to tell you something. 

[Usiel] What Is it dear? What's wrong?

Both of my parents looked at me worried. I took a deep breath and dived in.

[Mihael] The skill <Absorb > has been completed and the elder cultists are gone. The other cultists should be free to and they might be freaking out. 

[Raziel] Yes we only woke up first because our special bloodline. It is likely that the others have passed out from the stress of having the mind control spell removed from them. 

[Mihael] As long as they don't cause a riot. But there is more. The energy from the elders is about to flow into my body and I don't know what changes it will bring to me. 

[Usiel] Don't worry darling we will protect you. We aren't leaving your side at all.

[Raziel] Yes your mother is right. We will prevent anyone from harming you so feel free to take as long as you need.

[Mihael] Thank you mom and dad. I am so glad to have you back finally. In my previous life I never really had the chance to feel the love of a parent. One set of my previous parents were abusive and the other set were just cold and indifferent.

I began to tear up as I hugged them both.

[Raziel] Yeah so feel free to live your life however you want.

Both of my parents Hugged me back and we spent a few moments embracing.

[Mihael] Alright mom and dad I am about to begin. System use the energy from 4 elders to upgrade my core and the rest on my bloodline.

Suddenly I felt a massive surge of mana flowing into my body as I grunted in pain. I tried to hold off crying out in pain for as long as I could but I only lasted a few seconds before I began screaming. The system was working in the background as I barely heard the notifications.

The pain lessened a little but I could still feel the massive flow of mana continuing. Looking up I saw my parents looking incredibly worried as my mom started crying. I mouthed sorry to her as the pain began again. I began bleeding a lot out of what seemed like everywhere as I lost my sense of time. My only companions being the pain and the systems notifications in the background.

I felt the flow of energy finally began to slow but I was still in pain. I could not yell anymore as I had lost my voice awhile ago. Finally I heard the systems last notifications.

It took 5 hours to complete but it was finally done.

[Usiel] Is it done? 

[Mihael] No its just stopped for a moment. It will continue soon.

My voice came out as a croak. I could barely recognize it.

My father grabbed my mothers hand.

[Raziel] Alright then we will have to stay strong. Let us cast some healing magic to help him recover before it begins again.

[Usiel] Alright dear I understand.

Both of my parents raised their palms towards me as a light green glow began to shine over me. I could feel my strength and my fatigue recovering. I thanked my parents as I closed my eyes and mentally prepared myself for what came next. After the timer ticked down to zero I heard the system.
