My Attributes and Level Ups (2) (NEW!)

The day started out just fine. I brought a few spells with the coins I earned. Each of my attributes is around fifty, a total of 295 when the six are combined. I mean it is pretty high for a level 3 awakeener, so I am in a good mood.

I woke up early and took a few quests and ventured into the forest by the village. Most awakeners would have been hunting till midnight or few would have stayed until after midnight.

The groups would be looking to gain experience faster and better rewards for hunting down monsters.

As the monster's power level increases during the night, so do the rewards for defeating them.

If one is lucky or unlucky, they might encounter a field boss who has double its usual power and rewards are also double. There is a chance that better quality items would be rewarded.

Normally the Bosses in the village would give Uncommon-grade items but at night, there is a chance for Rare items to drop. It did not hold true every time. Most of the time, the coins earned are higher than the usual drop. Even then it's not a waste, as they would gain a lot of experience.

I suppose, there is a chance that the stupid brat from yesterday would stake out for the Field Boss at night. Hope those jerks won't come across me today. I don't my time to be wasted.

I started my hunt.

It was not as easy as one might think. It was a lot of trouble to deal with the Monsters in the forests.

The grey rabbits were the easiest of the bunch. They don't have any magical attacks, but their physical attacks were well over what is considered normal.

They are dangerous because they appear in groups like wolves. They are also agile, making them evade most attacks easily.

Luckily for me, I have [Summon Skeleton] spell, which gave me ten subordinates at a time, all ready to be ordered around as I wish. I don't need to do much but order around and they took care of the Grey Rabbits.

I mean they died multiple times but I have huge mana, which gave me a chance to recast the spell again. They hunted the rabbits, while I had cast [Physical Sheild] on myself, with a sword in my hand.

It took some time to kill them, as it was hard to hunt those runners but I got the required number, after jumping around for an hour or two. The others scattered away, once my quota was fulfilled.

I wonder if it is the game mechanic of the trial lands. If it was there was no mention of it before. It looks fascinating.

I can hunt as many as I can, not just the required number to complete the quest but the mechanics try to prevent that. They would respawn once they are dead but it takes time, which would mean the others had to waste time in waiting. The mechanics here try to be as fair as possible, though that's not totally possible.

Though the rabbits made me jump around like a clown, the real problem was the snakes and wolves.

Wolves appear in packs, and they are stronger than the rabbits and also more agile. Snakes, on the other hand, no one would see the first attack until it happens.

The good thing for me though is that I kept my shield active and also the skeletons formed a protective barrier for me. So instead of me, it is them that get to die.

When they were low in number I would simply cast the spell to spawn new skeletons which only seemed to anger the monsters more.

Angry monsters are dangerous but they also make mistakes. Luckily, the monsters around the newbie villages don't have much power. Though they have appropriate levels that are higher than the awakeners, their lack of skills made their demise in my hands.

I mean, for normal awakeners, it would be a hassle. They needed groups bound together to do what I did, but since I have my own group, who spawn again and again, it made it easier for me.

As the day went on, I had no choice but to retreat for the day and resume my hunting the next day. It's almost evening and I am almost tired from all the hunt I did in the morning.

Only Boars are the main problem to complete the quests. There are also other Monsters that I have yet to hunt but they won't give me many problems. That much I am sure.

I am tired now and in no way capable of hunting down a boar. It's best to do it when I am refreshed in the morning.

Let's return to the Inn and see my status.

Once in my room, I checked what I gained for the day.
