thank you, that makes more sense
this kind of joke always makes me like a book less. if they're female who cares you weirdo
hate that they don't fill this out. is it a translation thing?
he should be at the legend level, right? it's always confusing when they go back and forth but. the system gave him master level. he achieved grandmaster in the capital for the first surgery, then he did a bunch of surgeries in the bathtub to reach legend?
the webnobel is fun, without too many of the tropes that novels like this tend to fall into. they sort of skip alot, which is fine but it'd be fun to see more of his heaven defying wealth then we do. my main thing for writing this review is the translation quality dips so hard the cultivation levels and sect names change multiple times a chapter and it's nearly unreadable.
honestly reading this book is sort of a letdown in alot of places. I adored the early chapters, and have read decently far into the translation so far (chapter 430 at time of writing). it was really fun seeing how smart and cunning the mc was at first, and watching how he used knowledge and time gained in other worlds to his advantage but by time he gets to the world of God's there is no longer any accumulation of systems or knowledge. he gains nothing in the slightest except faith energy which is the end all be all of power. I think it devolved what was otherwise a really good novel. I plan on keeping reading, but with how the foundation for these arcs are laid I imagine I'd get more joy out of reading the first like 200 chapters again
when did the cult King die???
God this is such a dumb review. very little of the previous plot is effected by the later realization that they are to become experts. the sect leader has his memory sealed and his cultivation. the senior sister is the only semi thing you can latch on to to say it invalidated, but shes just there for laughs. I'm sure she would of paid it if she had to but it doesn't effect how it developed. I think besides the author straight up forgetting things sometimes, the development of the side characters did alot to enhance the flavor of the plot especially as the mc moved up into higher power scaling
what does his name mean?
🤣🤣🤣
I think my biggest problem with this book is its ending. it's pretty run of the mill cultivation oc gets super powerful, but it's chars are really fun. I enjoy every bit about li xin, Zhou wang had a very fun introduction. I liked that the chars seemed to develop beside the mc and went on their own adventures. as I said before, once you get about 80 ish chapters out from the ending it starts to feel rushed. like the author knew how many chapters they wanted to write exactly and had to quickly tie up the loose ends in a satisfying manner. but honestly to complain about the last 50 chapters of a 1k+ novel is a form of praise itself I think.
I have complicated feelings on this. alot of the names are changed, which yeah differences in translations, whatever. but they also have taken alot of liberties in certain aspects that confuse me. like adding a weird bedroom sharing plot with hila? but besides that. I think the comic has potential. I've been wanting to do a reread of the novel, but I think ill just keep up with the comic for now and see if the quality improves. I'm hopeful of course. there's plenty of story even before he gets off aquamarine, so there's no way they can continually mess up I think.
Xd
but then he put a point back in luck iirc
