"Stop being so surprised. You throw that SOS right? Then lets get on to it. Tell me about the situation so that we can quickly formulate a good plan to the battle. We faced the Behemoth before but we barely escaped. Now that it was terrorizing again, I would be willing to help on taking it down. Every single detail would suffice and weapon reports would also be a good thing too," I said as I squashed the can of the cola and throw it to the nearby garbage can.

"A-alright. We will use the projector this time since most of the reports are recorded to my laptop at the moment."

Haru took the projector on the table that should be his own table at the moment due to the papers scattered on its surface. He plugged in the projector and connected his laptop on it.

Before we can even start the discussion, the radio on Haru's table started buzzing and a voice of a male transmitted through it.

"Sir! Bad news! We saw a horde approaching this way! I can't count the numbers sir! They were basically a sea of them! Over!"

Haru frowned and moved towards the radio.

"Are there any particular things unique to this horde? Over" Haru asked.

"Yes sir! Birds and dogs are attacking too! We are preoccupied at the birds at the moment! Over!"

"I will send backup immediately!" Haru changed the radio frequency and call again.

"Requesting backup on defense! Free soldiers at the moment should head to the barricade immediately! Over!"

Not just a few seconds later, the voice speak on the other line.

"Roger that!"

After Haru said that, he sighed and looked at us.

"So shall we continue?"

"You won't help them?" I asked.

"I already sent a round of backups to deal with the horde. My men can hold on enough," he answered.

"Alright. Please stop the discussion. Those who are ready to fight, please come with me, Sgt. Haru, please allow us to get access to the armory at the moment," I looked at him.

"Huh? Why?"

"I don't like to sit idly here and goes into the safety. Your soldiers are risking their lives over there while I was stuck here listening. I don't feel good when someone is out there trying to sacrifice their lives. I have enough of them dying without me doing a single sh*t," I gritted my teeth. Just remembering Mr. Leo sacrificing himself and Nejima dying and heroically died for his friends makes me want to curse.

The others who are ready to go on combat stood up with me and also followed me. I can hear Haru's voice inside call out on Mr. Tanaka, Mr. Suzuki and Tamaki.

"Captains! Are you also going to participate in the battle too? Its too dangerous! Just stay!" Haru pleaded.

"No, I can't also stay. Kyosei is right, fighting alongside the other soldiers gives more chance of victory than just keeping here without doing anything. Besides, the plan for the Behemoth can wait, Mr. Tanaka explained.

"He already said most of it, so I won't be saying much too," Mr. Suzuki chuckles as he reloaded his Remington shotgun.

"I have to earn my keep so this is a good time to earn it," Tamaki said, clearly determined.

The others also stood up and even Ms. Haruna left with us.

"Haruna! Where are you going?" Haru panicked.

"I can't fight but I can help the wounded in the infirmary. I don't like standing idly either," Ms. Haruna explained.

The other soldiers guarding the room also left with us and they led us to the Armory.

"Where are you guys going huh?" Haru shouted on the two guards.

"What he said is correct sir, I can't let the others carry our burden. We will also go and fight," the first guard responded.

We left and continued towards the armory, leaving Haru on the room.

...

"Are you all sure you all can leave your posts like that?" I asked the two guards leading us.

"Nah, don't worry about it, and besides, we are holed up in that room for how many days already since w occupied the Tsutenkaku Tower. After cleaning up the whole tower from the infected, we are all left to guard that puny room without getting our guns to show off," the first guard smiled.

"And besides, Sgt. Haru is more engrossed in his laptop than talking with us. Ever since the main force of the SDF in Tokyo abandoned us here, he is left out without too much choice but to continue living in this state. He must be in despair and he doesn't want us to continue in this battle," the second guard explained.

I sighed in disappointment. Haru is not a born leader and he struggles in this new power that he holds that he is not sure on what to do. Well, we are both different leaders, I can't just change his mindset easily.

Soon enough, we arrived into the armory. The first guard led us in while the second one escorts the girls to the infirmary. Entering the armory, we saw a lot of guns and spare supplies of parts from most guns used by SDF.

"Wow! Military equipment in the flesh! I am dreaming to see this kinds of weapon in real life and not only in the photos but now, they are in front of me! Wahoo!" Izayoi wanted to dive into the guns but Nanami smack his head.

"Idiot. Stay yourself constraint you military geek. Get a hold of yourself for once!" Nanami scolded him.

"Uuhhh... I didn't mean it, stop smacking me," Izayoi rubbed his head.

I looked around and saw that I don't see the equipment I am looking for.

"Where is the helmets usually stored? And kevlar armors(1) too?" I asked.

"Kevlar armors are out and we have no further supplies. The helmet are still available though, its here in the very back of the guns shelves," the first guard said.

I am looking for a good armor at the moment. Now that new enemies are on the prowl, especially that they are birds, helmet would be the best cover in your head at the moment. Although we lack Kevlar Armors at the moment, I think we will do just fine. Lets just assume that the battle won't be too difficult though...

"Why are you helping us?" Bei asked the man, as he led us down a stone hallway. "Who are you?"

The tall man stopped and turned to face us, smiling in front of us for the first time.

"My name is Aiden," he said. "I am a warrior in forced service to the tyrant who rules these lands."

"I'm sorry I brought it up," Bei apologized.

"Don't be," he replied. "It's my lord who's to blame for my plight, not you."

"Then why do you serve him?" Mi asked.

"I don't know if it makes any sense," Aiden began, turning to continue leading us, "but I reasoned that if I serve him and prove to be worth a hundred men, that many could be spared my fate."

"Do you belong to a nation that was conquered?" I asked.

"Yes," Aiden answered. "I was a conquered warrior of the army. It was bargained that I would serve Farthen in return for the freedom of my wife and daughter."

"But why would he bargain like that?" I asked. "Farthen and his people seem far too cold to care about any balance. I would assume he would just take whatever he wanted, including you."

"Farthen was afraid I would kill myself if he took me by force," Aiden explained. "By the time the war with my nation was over, I was the last soldier fighting. Over a hundred fell to my sword and Farthen wanted that strength. He took my wife and daughter hostage and bargained for my service. I was told they were released to go to a different nation to the east. Although I never learned what became of them. They're surely dead now."

"Why think they're dead?" Bei asked.

"They must be dead," Aiden replied. "They were human and I'm a demon. I've been in service to Farthen for the last hundred years."

"Wouldn't your daughter have some sort of prolonged life, being half your blood?" I asked.

"She wasn't my daughter by blood," Aiden said, stopping. "She was born of her mother and a rapist who attacked her and tossed her in a river."

My sisters and I were quiet. There was nothing we could say at that point to make any good. Having Aiden open up to us was a terrible idea and I felt low for having asked anything at all.

"I'm sorry, Aiden," I apologized. "I didn't mean to open old wounds. But you did a great thing for your family. You sacrificed everything to protect them."

Aiden did not answer and instead continued to walk. As we came to a large iron door, Aiden halted and stood in our way.

"We are about to enter the main chamber to this holding area," he explained. "There will most assuredly be guards in there; a dozen at least."

"We could take them," Bei suggested.

"But not quick enough," Mi pointed out. "One could easily run to sound an alarm while we begin the attack."

"Aiden, you should go out alone and assess the situation," I said. "We need our own gear back if we are to be of some use in battle."

Agreeing with a nod, Aiden quickly entered the main chamber and closed the door behind him. All was quiet and still.

"Can we trust this man?" Mi asked.

"I'm not so sure we have much choice," I answered. "We're outnumbered, ill-equipped, and in the belly of the enemy's house."

"I suppose things couldn't get much worse," Bei said.

"We could be dead," Mi pointed out.

Bei and I looked at Mi blankly, her face wearing a nervous smile. Aiden popped his head into the hallway without opening the door completely. He looked at us and yawned briefly.

"Did you really just yawn?" Bei questioned.

"Sorry, I don't sleep well," Aiden answered. "There were only five guards. The others took their turn for a nightly meal. The room across from here is a storage where confiscated items are held. Try and locate your things there or arm yourselves with what is available for now."

When we entered the main chamber to head to the storage, we saw what Aiden had done. The guards he mentioned were all sitting at a table in the middle of the room, slumped over and breathing calmly in slumber. They looked as if they had simply fell victim to sleep where they sat.

"What did you do to them?" Bei asked, lightly poking one with no results.

"I have a creature in my covered eye that steals the life from those who are caught in its gaze," Aiden answered. "Usually the process is too much for the victim and they fall asleep when they hear it scream."

"I didn't hear a scream," Mi said.

"You can only hear it if you're looking at the creature," Aiden explained. "I've never killed anyone with it because they always fall asleep. They have to look at it, hear it, and stay that way or it doesn't work."

"Wow, that's amazing," Mi said. "There's a creature in your eye?"

"No, not really," Aiden replied with a cheeky smile. "I just thought that would sound more interesting than hitting them."

My sisters and I looked at Aiden with dumbfounded looks. Bei couldn't help but let half a giggle escape. In the storage room we did not find our belongings but were able to arm Bei and Mi. Bei had found several daggers and carried them in a small arm bag she dug up while Mi found a short spear to her liking out of the many that were there. Aiden asked me why I didn't choose to replace my cleaver and hook with a proper weapon and I simply shrugged at the question.

"Kimberly usually just uses her hands," Bei explained. "She used to have gloves that would stand against blades, but I guess they took them."

"It wouldn't be much of a feat if the rest of our enemies wield weapons like these," Mi complained at the poor build quality of the spear. "I miss the ones Ben crafted for us."

"I would direct you to where your belongings were if I knew," Aiden said. "I wasn't involved in your capture. I only overheard about it then asked further after it had all been done."

"Perhaps you could ask about our belongings?" I suggested.

"I suppose so."

At that moment a guard came through a door at the far end of the room and halted immediately at what he saw. Bei and Mi turned for a fight but Aiden had quick thinking.

"You there, where can we find the belongings to these women?" he called to the guard. "I've been granted permission to take them as slaves and I wish to have their gear so that we may join the war efforts."

The guard rested a hand on his sword hilt as he spoke.

"Really? Why weren't we informed of this? And what's happened to those guards at the table?" he asked.

"They were slacking off, so I put my fist to them to do their loafing some justice," Aiden answered in a somber tone.

The guard let himself show his nervousness at such a statement. He shuffled his gaze around the room and at the floor in order to avoid the gaze from Aiden.

"Master, my cleaver is impatient," I complained grimly. "Can I wet its appetite with this cowering man?"

"I, I don't know where their things are," the guard quickly blurted out in panic. "I remember the weapons were of very fine quality. Perhaps they decided to add them to the armory. Check there for them."

The guard quickly stepped well out of our way as we walked past him and into the hall that would take us to the base level of the castle. As we did, Bei bluffed a swing at him and he fell over in surprise and fear. Once the door was closed behind us and we had some distance, we all let out an exhale of held tension.

"That was funny," Bei said, proud of herself.

"Well, now we have a good cover for our escape," I said. "Will we be able to get all the way out under such a story?"

"We may," Aiden answered. "Unless we run into someone who would be informed enough to know that it was a lie."

Much to our relief as we made our way into the main body of the castle and towards the armory, no one questioned or even attempted to talk to us. The inside of the castle was very lavish. Much more so than the castle belonging to the king of our nation. Everything was adorned and polished to the highest degree. Handrails, floors, steps, windows, ceilings, and marble columns were all accented with fine gems and metals and were so shiny that it was a task just to get used to how bright it was compared to the prison.

All of the normal guards stood in their place or kept to themselves as we walked by. It was the guards we had seen protecting the officers we assassinated that worried me, but we reached the armory without coming across any. Unlike the armory that belonged to Ben, no one was watching over the one we then stood in and it did not appear to have a forge. Instead, it was simply a massive room with racks of weapons and open crates with whatever did not fit on display.

Much to Bei's delight, right by the door was a large barrel filled to the brim with throwing implements. With no care for organization, knives, bolts, stars, and even a few small hatchets had been dumped together for anyone to pick at. Right away my little sister emptied her bag and began to claim which items she deemed worthy, tossing those she rejected into a pile she quickly began to form on the floor. Unfortunately, our belongings were not in the armory, much to the dismay of Mi.

"This is terrible," Mi said in disapproval. "How can I defeat my enemies in confidence when I know I have inferior equipment?"

"I had no idea you felt so highly of Ben's work," I said, looking over the spears with her, despite not knowing anything about what would make a good spear.

"Well, it's not only that," Mi said. "That spear and staff were special to me. I had never had weapons of my own. Belongings have only recently been introduced into our family."

"I know, I'm sorry. If we can, we'll be sure to chase after them. Perhaps because they were of such good quality they were added to a private collection?"

"Sounds possible," Aiden agreed. "A few warriors that live in the castle have multiple weapons in their rooms. We may have some luck if we look around, but it would be very risky."

"Don't worry, sister," Bei comforted her, walking up to join us with two bags tightly fastened to her hips. "I'm sure Aiden can dig up some more information."

"If we must find the spear and staff then I'll take you three to my room," Aiden explained. "There you will be safe while I try and figure out where they are."

Inside Aiden's room was very lavish like the rest of the castle we had seen, but there seemed to be no personalization to it. It was a very large room with its own hearth and huge bed. There were paintings on the walls of landscapes and the night sky. It was all very beautiful; a little unassuming for Aiden, who seemed pretty neutral. He had left us there not a few minutes before Bei began to snoop around.

"All he has in here is plain clothes and pieces of armor," she complained as she looked through the walk-in closet.

"Well, he doesn't really want to be here," I reminded her, from my place sitting in a chair by the door. "Why would he make it his own? This is like a prison for him."

"Comfy bed though," Mi muffled as she laid face down on the neatly-made bedding.

"Are you sure you want to put your face on a man's bed?" I teased.

"Actually, I don't think he's ever used it," she said, coughing. "There's a layer of dust."

"He did say he didn't sleep much!" Bei called out from somewhere in the closet.

Growing up in Hell can be difficult. More so, if you were born into slavery. * A few moments before Ray woke up. 
Rachel takes off her hand from the relic and turned to all other people.
"I forget to tell you all something" Rachel says.
"Yeah, that how you are still alive" Shawn speaks.
"Not that, there are several side effects of coming back to life through the anti-magic" 
"How do you know that?" Ellie asks.
"Because I was there when it happened last time," Rachel says.
"Then why didn't you tell this before?" Shawn asks.
"What do you think I was doing all this time?" Rachel says.
"How worse it can be?" Ellie asks.
Rachel sighs and tries to get strength for saying it.
"Worse than a hex " when Rachel says that everyone gets so much worried except Ellie who was confused because she wasn't aware of what a hex can do.
"Marcel, how worse this is?" ." When you get hexed...all your negative thoughts get heavy on you and affect your true personality and makes you mad and uncontrolled".
"Ok, this doesn't sound good," Ellie says worriedly.
"But you stopped him last time, right," Rebekah says.
"Yes but last time he wasn't a demon wolf or any Wolf," Rachel says.
"What you want us to do?" Marcel asks.
"Time...I need time", " Rachel says.
"What if we don't do anything or say anything which stops his mind to think anything negatively," Ellie suggests.
"To confuse him, " Ellie adds.
"Wow, she is asking us to play statues" Lucien laughs but then gets his neck snapped by Davina "Now he won't move...or say anything" 
Then Rachel agrees to the plan and tells them all to not move and this plan works for a minute when Ray saw Rachel and thought that the ritual didn't work but then Ellie punches him and he loses control and gets trapped in his own mind.
Ray wakes up only to find himself sitting in front of Natalie. 
"Hey Handsome" Natalie evokes. 
"What the... I'm sick of it now... where are you? come out" Ray exclaims. 
"God or I don't know what to call you... come out" Ray shouts. 
"Enough with all the shouting" G.O.R. appears behind him. 
"I wished for full control... then what the hell happened out there? " Ray asks. 
"See boy, I gave you water... you added color in it and now it's poisonous, I did nothing wrong"  G.O.R. explains. 
"what that suppose to mean?" Ray asks. 
"Spirits who used to give you access to almost every kind of magic were angry from you when you become vampire so they cursed you but Rachel dampened that curse then but now you are stronger than you were last time so it's going to be hard for them but don't worry I also have given you a sister who can get in people's minds so keep hoping" G.O.R. disappears. 
Ray turns back and notice where exactly he is, his cell in which he spent thirty years of his life at the armory. 
" So my demon side trapped me in my purgatory with my dead ex... how marvelous" 
Back at the armory, Ray was about to shift in demon wolf. 
Red strips start to appear and shine on his human body and his bones start breaking faster than an ordinary werewolf. 
Ray turns fully into a six feet demon wolf. 
"Rebekah take Davina inside and do not come out until I say so," Marcel says. 
Bonnie was about to shift but Rachel stops her " Bonnie, You are going to be more useful like this". 
"How? " Bonnie asks. 
"I want you to get in his mind and free him," Rachel says. 
Shawn hears Bonnie and Rachel's conversation and decides to shift quickly. 
"I didn't want to do this to you brother but I can't let you harm our mother," Shawn says and shifts quicker than Ray. 
Demon wolf takes a few steps back and hits his claw on the ground. 
"He can't take all of us at once," Kol says. 
Shawn starts making his clones one by one and in a few seconds, he makes twelve wolves of his size. All wolves charged Demon wolf but demon wolf didn't even move from his place and when Shawn hits Demon wolf, he gets through him. 
Everyone was shocked that Shawn got through Demon wolf like he is a hologram. 
One of Shawn's clones tries to do the same but he also passes through him just like Shawn.
Rachel figures out what was happening and shouts quickly to warn Shawn.
"That's not real...Shawn, it's an illusion"
Suddenly the clone that attacked Ray gets picked up in the air and starts bleeding from the neck.
Everyone was surprised but didn't know what was happening.
At the moment, a voice of breaking the neck comes from the clone red wolf.
Demon Wolf throws the red Wolf towards the armory wall and it was sure that the clone was dead.
Shawn then uses his supernatural hearing to find the Demon Wolf.
Shawn starts running towards his left and suddenly an eight feet demon wolf appears in front of him making him stop.
"Tell me he didn't just do magic," Marcel says.
"He used the illusion which his grandfather used to do...the ritual gave him his access to some of his abilities maybe," Rachel says.
"But that is not the main thing...he wasn't supposed to grow this big" Rachel says looking at the eight feet demon wolf.
"What do you mean?" Marcel asks.
"A maximum size of any wolf can be of seven feet... it's bigger" Rachel says.
"But werewolves can't do magic especially not when they are wolves," Kol says.
"Can you see those red shining strips on his body...those are the reason he is able to disappear when Shawn attacked," Rachel says.
"He hit his claw on the ground and then he wasn't moving so maybe it's just another trick" Ellie gives her theory.
"She is smart...but not enough to follow the plans she makes," Rachel says reminding Ellie of spoiling her own plan.
While they were talking, the Demon wolf killed all the clones of Shawn just by one hit and every time he was killing his stripes were getting gleam more and more.
At last Shawn and Demon Wolf came face to face and everyone was hoping that Shawn can get Rachel enough time to help Bonnie in getting in Ray's head.
Shawn jumped on Demon Wolf but he just moved to his side and Shawn missed, Shawn attacks again with his claws but Demon Wolf dodges it.
Shawn keeps attacking but he was unable to connect even one time and it was looking like demon wolf is playing with him.
"Bonnie we need to hurry up," Rachel says.
"I'm trying to get in his mind but something is stopping me," Bonnie says.
Rachel knew that Bonnie needed a boost or a motivation to learn her ability so she gives it to her "Bonnie, listen to me...you need to breathe...breathe...feel yourself...look inside your own mind...those memories... those feeling...the chill in your spine...feel it...the pain...that suffering...feel it...feel every emotion inside you...all those barriers...all boundaries...break them all... this ability to look in others minds is only yours...listen to me, Bonnie...you can do it"

The story is about a character named Ray Wilson who is reincarnated into the world of the vampire diaries with three wishes.

But everything starts going wrong when new threats and new characters start appearing because of the consequences.

Ray explores the world and faces countless challenges to get what he wants and to prove that he deserves to have all the power that he holds.

In the armory of the village, David was looking for a sword. He did not know which one would suit him better. The sword he got from his father did not suit him anymore, because it was very used, and it was not sharp anymore. Another reason to change it was that the sword was too small and too light for his strength.
He needed a sword he could use and at the same time it should not be light, because the technique of his house based on heavy swords.
The problem now was that there was not a sword that fits him, because the village did not have a single knight, so they did not need to sell weapons for them. They only had normal weapons. Even the sword he had now was better than those.
The owner of the armory looked at them from the side and he was smiling the whole time. He was excited about selling something because he did not sell anything since a long time.
"Dear client, if you need any help, then tell me."
David who did not find anything, tried to ask the owner, maybe he had something hidden in the storage.
"Do you any heavy swords, these here are very light?"
The owner then looked at the young man in front of him and asked:
"Are you a knight?"
"Yes, I am."
"Sorry, but we don't have any suitable swords here. These swords are made for hunters and normal guards."
David sighed and then he wanted to leave, but suddenly Noah asked:
"Can you repair a sword?"
The owner of the armory hesitates, but then he nodded.
"Perfect, David give him your sword."
The owner took the sword from David and looked at it.
"it's indeed a heavy sword, only a knight would use such a sword. But it is very used and had a lot of cracks. I guess you used it a lot. It is hard, but I can still save this sword. If you want, I can made it heavier and sharper if you give me a day."
David and Noah looked at the owner of the armory with suspicious, this man did not have even a single weapon for knight, but he wants to improve it.
The owner saw their expression and laughed and explained them:
"Even if you do not forge any strong weapon, it doesn't mean that I can't. My master was one of the best smiths in the continent, but my talent lacked a lot and I did not make it big. I decided to sell and forge normal weapons instead, but I can also repair strong weapons too. Give me one day and the sword will be ready. You can choose one sword here and use it till I am finish working."
This time David did not know what to do, he loved this sword, because it was a gift from his father and his first sword too. But he needed a strong sword to save his sister, so at the end he trusts this man in front of him.

I took the Basic Amulet of Magic and Thief's hood, while Books took the Helmet of the Warlord. Since it was a rank C item, The Helmet of the Warlord was worth more than the two of my items combined.

Books offered to cover the difference with gold, but I declined. We were set to share a lot more loot in the future, so it would be troublesome to be tied back counting small differences.

Books appreciated the gesture.

The items were really suited for us. I got a mana regen bonus and some much needed vitality, and Books got a flat strength boost. With the strength bonus, Books had a strength stat that equaled a rare melee combat class at his level. It was time to fight our way out of town.

The developers at Eclipse company were captivated by a certain duo holding their own during a goblin invasion in town. They were alerted to the duo by the system, because they were the first to kill an NPC shopkeeper in the game. It was an impossible task to pull off at their level, or at least it was supposed to be if the game world was in a normal state.

The goblin king's invasion threw many of their calculations off, and feats that were deemed impossible under normal circumstances were now possible.

Eclipse company's developers had access to unrestricted live game footage that the general public did not have access to. This kind of footage could make millions of dollars if broadcasted, but would destroy the integrity of the game by offering perfect information.

The live footage showed a hooded user named [Spoon] using a strange black colored magic on his left hand to tear into the goblin's flesh. His companion, a user called [Books], cut down goblins with his Fine Sword, chugging potions whenever he dropped before 40% health.

The thought of the 24 hour penalty in addition to my PK and shopkeeper killing penalties made my hair rise.

On the side of the street were the bodies of two warriors and a mage from Steel Guild. I ran to the bodies and checked for any loot I could use.

"Are you telling us that Dark Brotherhood's guild is within the City of Order of Light?" Beat asked.

"That's right. No one knows about the location of Dark Brotherhood unless you're part of their guild. I'm not saying I'm one of them but some of their members needed some information so they exchanged that information to me which I'm giving to you guys in exchange for my gold." That's really not good business. He might be in trouble for this.

"But where exactly? We can't explore the city by ourselves, this city is really huge." Osia asked.

"Well, I heard that the Order of Light's Dungeon has a secret passage leading to somewhere. Not even the Order of Light knows about this. If you're a true part of their guild, they can just enter the place without anyone knowing. They say that Order of Light has good trackers but pfft... not even good enough to catch the roaches even once." Are they that good? I heard Scy's guild members defeated some of them in battle.

"Don't be fooled, they might be good at sneaking and hiding but compared to your strengths, I can tell that you guys are better than them."

"Any idea on how we can enter the dungeon unnoticed?" Osia asked.

"Well, I can tell that you guys have good assassins here but their sneaking abilities won't work against the guards. You guys need someone who knows the dungeon. Just to be clear, the dungeon is the place for prisoners so you need someone who always visits the place from time to time." I don't like the sound of all of this.

"And where on earth would we find someone like that?" Osia asked.

"I think I know the best man for the job. We know that there's a location for the Dark Brotherhood and it might be hard for us to find it but we still have a chance, right? I hope this works well." I know someone really suited for the job.

"Ok then, please say hello and thank you to Scy. I still owe him for the trinkets he gave me before. Good luck!" The tavern keeper bid his goodbye and Beat handed him the gold. He's so lucky for all of that gold...

We went outside and some of the people inside the tavern are staring at us. We have to move fast before people might tell us on the guards.

"So... uhmmm... Who is this someone we are going to find?" Osia asked me.

"Oh... just an old friend." And I just smiled.

After a lot of fumes and a lot of sawdust later.

After a week full of cutting down the trees and waiting for the fire to cool down. The forest is finally cleared from trees and ready to be an empty land for their base. The team didn't encounter any big problem except for any wild animals and monsters that are naturally roaming in the forest. 

Now, they were standing in front of charred black land in the remnants of the forest. Lance will do his summoning base procedure soon.

The rank is equal, so there is no point of fighting," Lance interrupted before the argument heated up to become a CQC battle between all of them.

They all stopped fighting and agreed for Lance just to summon a random person to become a brigadier general for his base. All of the others were given a four-star badge for their uniform, including Lance.

The charred land quickly transformed into a base for them. Bunch of buildings and hangars appeared in front of them, including a very long runway.

In front of the entrance, there was a person with a formal green uniform standing and waiting for them. In comparison, the uniform that the man wore was way more tidy than the one that Lance and the group wore; Full of sawdust and traces of carbon.

On their first step, they had already greeted by a bunch of soldiers that were stationed there, although everyone who shook their hands with them Will is coughing, and their hand Will be turned black.

"Welcome to the Heathen base, sir," he said as he left the group alone.

Lance and his group walked to the shower, which was located not so far from the entrance. Inside they had already can see soldiers patrolling around the base.

"Heathen, huh? No God, no master," Lochlan suddenly said when he came across the sign that shows the name of the base.

"What makes you say that?" Dima asked him.

"Heathen is a term that is used to describe a person who doesn't belong to the widely known religion. They can be either an atheist or a pagan, so yeah, in short, no God and no master," Lance explained to them.

Melody got surprised by his statement, "Wow, Lance, I don't know that you are so philosophic."

"10 years in royalty school means something for me," He replied to Melody.

"10 years? a drop out then?" Lochlan asked him.

"Sort of, I got hooked with this ugly ass princess that I must marry to avoid our family bankrupt. Luckily or unluckily, the ship crashed, and I'm considered dead for now," Lance explained his current situation for now.

"Well, your family legacy is gone?" Natalie asked her.

Lance felt that the conversation went to a full-scale interrogation for him, so he took a seat in front of the Armory building, which was located about three buildings away from the shower.

"Yes, it is gone, and I Will rebuild it on less than a year. Just see it," Lance said as a Mig-25 flew above their head.

"Recon mission?" Dima asked.

"Probably," Lance said.

"Dima, Miss the skies already?" Natalie asked him.

"Now? not really. Later, maybe," Dima replied as he grabbed the skies with his hand.

"Sure, we can fly the migs later, for now, lets just washed from this sawdust and carbon remnants," Lance said as he headed for the shower first.

They headed for the armory first and asked for their equipment. The armory gave them everything, and they headed for their shower.

The men took a shower side by side with only a curtain separating them. Dima tried to make a prison joke, "Hey, that slippery hands of yours should be handy."

"As they said in prison, "You drop your Dove, let me give you some love."," Lochlan said as he tried to make Dima drop the soap.

"Oh goodness," Lance said as he continued to take a shower.

They've finished taking a shower and changed into a greenish combat uniform. The uniform was thicker than usual since Winter is coming soon.

They took a tour around the base to see what they created. The tech mostly developed in the 60s, so there weren't any modern battle tanks like the M1 Abrams and the Armata. Even the Bradley hasn't been put on the concept yet.

"What does that B-52 doing there?" Lochlan asked, and he pointed his finger at one of the runways.

"Well, bombing run, I guess,"  Melody replied as the plane took off from the ground.

"What are we going to bomb? We don't know much about this island," Lochlan said.

"Don't overthink about it. for now, we wait for the recon report," Lance suggested.

"Ah, so that what the migs for," Melody said.

"Yeah, also we might have another task for tomorrow, get some rest," Lance said as they went to their own quarters.

Guns, Tank, Fighter jets, and Aircraft carriers. What would happen if all of those things are used against Fantasy creatures?
