In a world of magic, monsters, and overpowered protagonists. Our hero was the 'side-kick', the 'friend', the 'other guy'. Betrayed by the Hero he'd sworn to help and wound up banished from death as a result. 
This is the story of how an un-killable side-kick rose to the apex and finally became the Hero.

The pain of the saber cut made Project X realize his predicament. Project X explained, "Superpowers derives their energy from superpower DNA which was found in my body. This superpower DNA allows all life to use other dimensional energies. These energies are the source of superpowers."
"Wait," Zhao Yao said. "Didn't the Meteorite cause the Awakening of superpowers?"
Project X said, "The Meteorite stimulated the supercats' potential because it carried my superpower DNA. My superpower DNA uses the bodies of various cats on Earth to awaken different superpowers.
We share the same blood type. After absorbing my superpower DNA, they are able to connect to energies from other dimensions to control and develop their superpowers."
"This is my superpower harvesting plan," Project X said. "I was sent to Earth the moment I was born. My purpose for existence is to allow the supercats on Earth to develop their superpowers from my superpower DNA so that I can harvest their superpowers."
"Why does this sound like the creation of a weapon?" Zhao Yao stroked his chin and thought, "What about me? Does my Book have superpowers?" He recalled his initial awakening of his superpowers.
"Perhaps Matcha bit me? And transferred the superpower DNA into my body? Isn't that too coincidental?"
"Is Project X telling the truth?"
Zhao Yao shook his head to dismiss his thoughts. He asked Project X doubtfully, "The Earth cats and you share the same blood type? Are you saying that cats are aliens?"
"Maybe, I'm not sure. When I gained awareness, Earth was close by. I had vast knowledge of supercats and a superpower harvesting plan in my memories. My thoughts were implanted with this order—to carry out this harvesting plan."
Project X shook his head and said, "We won't like the ending of the plan. If they discover you, what do you think they'll do to you?"
Project X said gravely, "Zhao Yao, we're now in the same boat. To fight against these unknown entities, we have to cooperate with each other."
"Since you've met the supercat that looked like me, did you fight with him?"
"Nope." Zhao Yao was digesting Project X's information. He took a while before replying, "He's able to travel in the dreamscape. He tried to capture my cats in their dreams but he failed."
"Dreamscape?" Project X was puzzled and Zhao Yao decided to tell him the details as he was already imprisoned in the Extradimensional Belly.
Project X said, "That's not the dreamscape, it's the Awareness Dimension."
Zhao Yao said bewildered, "What? Not the Dream Dimension?"
"The names are different. The material realm is only part of the universe's ten dimensions. The remaining dimensions are dark and mysterious. The superpowers' effect on the material realm was derived from the various dimensions' energies.
The Awareness Dimension was created from the awareness of all life in the universe and dreams were means of the manifestation of awareness in the material realm."
Zhao Yao was in a daze as he muttered, "Oh, I understand now."
Project X said with concern, "Your cats attracted their attention when they traveled in the Awareness Dimension. There's no concept of distance and time in the Awareness Dimension. Since they found your cats, they are able to travel unlimited distance and focus their awareness on Earth."
Project X said, "The Awareness Dimension is used to retrieve me after I complete my harvesting. That's the only dimension that I know of besides the material realm.
Project X did not expect the entities to discover Earth that fast because he did not think that the Earth supercats were able to evolve and travel in the Awareness Dimension.
He was unable to travel to other dimensions, not even the supercats who were pursuing Doomsday. They were only able to travel in the Awareness Dimension.
"If Project X's telling the truth, then a powerful alien force could have discovered Earth?" Zhao Yao's mind started postulating. "The aliens are treating Earth like a superpower harvesting field? If they discover my Book, what will they do?"
"If they capture Doomsday, Matcha, Elizabeth, and the rest…"
Zhao Yao's eyes lit up with cold rays as he recognized the alien force as foes.
Project X said, "Zhao Yao, release me so that I can help you. Your superpowers are powerful but you are no match for them. We have to cooperate…"
Zhao Yao switched from the Extradimensional Belly to Time Freeze and stopped discussing with Project X. To Project X, the alien force behind the superpower harvesting plan was unfathomable and impossible to defeat.
To Zhao Yao, as long as the Book continued upgrading, he was confident of defeating all enemies.
"I've to buck up. I've yet to harvest experience points and supercats from the Americans," Zhao Yao thought. "Alien cats… they're all cats. I'll capture them as they come."
"I'll capture the Star Cats, treat Roly Poly, and revive Sphynx cat."
Zhao Yao had always looked down on his enemies psychologically while overestimating his enemies tactically. He was extremely wary of the Awareness Dimension's power.
"I'll contract the next supercat with a dream-related superpower."
After he ended his conversation with Project X, he was surprised when he noticed Doomsday. "Why is Doomsday sleeping? Wake him up."
Arthas walked up to Doomsday and patted his head. "Hey Doomsday, wake up. Enough sleeping."
Doomsday opened his eyes and glanced at Arthas. As he smiled, he vanished into thin air.
Zhao Yao activated Time Freeze as Doomsday disappeared. He grabbed where Doomsday was but it was in vain. His disappearance was too sudden.
Zhao Yao was astounded and deactivated Time Freeze. He turned his head and looked at Arthas and asked, "What's wrong?"
Arthas was dumbstruck as he said, "Doomsday traveled in the Dream Dimension… and left."
"How is that possible? Why did he leave?" Zhao Yao was puzzled and said, "He was clearly afraid of that strange cat."


"Let go of that kitty cat!"

A shooting star whizzed through the sky, causing countless super powers to appear on Earth.

However, the main characters that awaken during this phenomenon aren't humans, but cats...

During this event, this same thought appeared in the minds of countless cats: "Am I a god?"

Zhao Yao, an ordinary human, is the only person that can control these super cats.

TL's Intro：

Zhao Yao, the protagonist of the story, is the most ordinary man you could possibly imagine. Since graduating from college, he had been engulfed by his bureaucratic workplace and its toxic environment. To make things worse, he has neither a car, money nor a girlfriend. The only silver lining was his fat and lazy cat, Matcha, which provided a semblance of company and friendship.

However, things were about to change drastically for Zhao Yao and Matcha. One shooting star will transform their lives into anything but ordinary.

'Okay, if nothing can hide anything in front of me, can I see the status of my family? Let's test' Arthur looked at his mother and thought 'Status'.

"Arthur come here"(Amelia M.) "I'm going mom" replied Arthur, 'today is finally where I get my Job' he thought as he headed for the room where his family had gathered. When you arrive you can not help but smile at the sight of your new family who loves him very much.
"Here boy turn your back on me, we'll start the ritual now" said Arthas (Arthur father), Arthur did as he was told, suddenly his vision darkened. Outside all your family could see is that when Arthas touched Arthur to initiate the ritual an ancient azure light emanated from Arthur emanating to the heavens.

Inside Arthur's head he reviewed all his past life, although it didn't seem like Arthur was a big fan of anime, novel and manga. With that Arthur noticed one thing that even if he tried hard he couldn't forget what he saw. 'This can only mean one thing ... I have gained eidetic memory.' Thought Arthur.

He had the opportunity to review everything he did and felt and learned in his past life. 'With this knowledge, I can really become one of those badass isekai protagonists, rubber making here we go.'

"Dad, what's up with Arthur?" Asked Sandra, "Don't worry it seems your brother has received recognition from the old codon" replied Arthas reassuring his daughter. 

The Old Code is what the people of Terraria call the laws that govern their planet. He is as old as civilization, he who allows you to get skill from the work piece. Even gods are said to fear The Old Code.

Arthur is a simple teenager with 16 years, and he's what you call a 'bot person', he isn't popular or good-looking either. His parents died when he is 12 leaving him, coincidentally, enough money to live until he turns 18, unfortunately not in such a good area, where he lives cops and thugs work together. In school, he doesn't have many friends and the ones who he calls friends is not so close to him. And so lives Arthur a bot person, but everything changed when the fir... (cough), when he was on his way to school he is approached by a thief...

This's my first novel (Probably last either) and English isn't my first language. I'm not an experienced writer or anything, just a reader who wants to pass the time, so be warned I'll pick up a lot of ideas and concepts from other novels including 'Living in this World with Cut & Paste', 'From Fish to Dragon', 'Release that Witch' and others, basically everything I've ever read. If you see any mistake please let me know so it can be fixed. Enjoy.

"Okay, now let's proceed to the second trial. " Sir Gildarts said as he walked past us. 

We are walking in the hallways of this dungeon like structure. Sir Gildarts entered a door, the eight of us followed him. I am at the rear of the line, following Heist. The room that we entered is a stairway? I think it will lead us to the upper part of this dungeon. 

"Hey, what do you think our second trial will be?" Heist asked, as we climbed up in the stairway. I didn't respond because I simply don't want to. This person, Heist, have this Fourth feeling. Their aura is almost the same. He looked at me, waiting for a response. I sighed. 

"Maybe monster fighting or something." I said, giving off a not-interested-vibe.  I saw Arthas looked at me, I've sensed him looking at me since earlier. If Heist have this Fourth aura, this person, Arthas, have this Fifth aura. Though I don't really get involved with Fifth that match, I know that he have a similar aura with Arthas. An aura that tells me to keep my guard up. 

We stopped walking when we saw a door in a corridor. Sir Gildarts entered in there, we followed him. 

"Welcome to your second trial."  Sir Gildarts said as we entered the room. 

"Just as Azrael said, you will be fighting monsters." everybody looked at me after Sir Gildarts said that, after a few seconds, they looked at Sir Gildarts again. 

"However, you will not do it individually. You will be doing it in a group of four." Sir Guildarts said. The other students exchanged glances, I looked at Heist, I saw him smile, I nodded. 

"And, to be fair, I will randomly pick the members. "  Sir Gildarts said, I saw their faces troubled. Uncomfortable, aren't they? 

"So the first group will be leaded by Cyon. Your members will be Hextri, Orion, and Detroit. " the four of them gathered together, leaving us four behind. We exchanged glances. 

"And the rest will be the second group, to be leaded by Arthas. You already know them right? Aorion, Heist, and Azrael?" Arthas nodded. 

"So for now, I will give you 30 minutes to come up with a plan. You see these doors?" Sir Gildarts said, pointing out the gigantic doors behind him. "You will need to enter these door separately. The first group will enter the left door, and the second will take the right. These doors will lead you in an open space, you need to defeat the monsters and kill their boss." 

We gathered around. 

"Let's talk about how we can win this trial, first things first. Let us discuss each other's ability. We can't work well if we are naive of each other's ability. " Arthas said. We nodded. 

"Then, I will start."  Aorion said as he raised his hand halfway. "I'm an elemental caster type but I focus on water and ice elements. I am confident with my attacks. The highest tier that I can cast for now is 4th tier. " he said, Arthas said then looked on Heist's side. 

"Then, its my turn. I am a phenomenal caster type. I focus on Gravity and Speed magic. My gravity can be used for holding off enemies for a few minutes. " he said. 

"I am an Ancient Magic caster type, the elemental type. I can cast any element but my attack magic is of 3rd tier only. I normally focus on Enhancing and Defense magic, I can perform 6th tier magic of Defense and Enhancing magic. " I said. 

"6th tier? At that age? Woah, who is your mentor. " Aorion said. It is not in question but I still answered him. 

"My mom introduced me to magic but I don't really have a mentor. I learned different magic just by reading. " I said. 

"Now that you mention it, earlier you said that you're a sage. That's amazing. " Heist complimented. I felt Arthas' gaze on me. I looked at him, he cleared his throat. 

"Okay, now for me, I'm a Light caster type. I can perform up to 7th tier magic. " Arthas said. 

"Woah, as expected from someone in the Central Division. " Aorion said, showing his amazement. 

"So now, we will have Aorion as Tanker, me as carry, Heist and Azrael as Support. " Arthas said. "Azrael will support us with his enhancement and defense magic. While Heist will support as by using his gravity magic to  hold the enemy. Aorion amd I will handle them. " we all nodded. This is in fact a good party, but I'm not really sure until I can witness their skills. 

We stayed their resting and preparing our grimoires, scrolls, books. We also prepared our equipments. 

Arthas came to me. 

"Come here. Let's talk. " He said as he walked past me. I followed him. We are on an isolated corner of the room. 

"Who are you?" he asked the moment I caught up to him. 

"I am Azrael, I already introduced myself earlier. "I said. 

"I don't know who you really are or who sent you but if you'll be in my way , I will crush you. " He said straight to me. 

"I have no idea what you are talking about. I'm leaving. " I said, turning my back on him. He really is someone I should watch out for, I'm only here to study but I sense trouble near him. As much as possible, I should stay away from him.

"Just remember what I said, Azrael, just remember. " he said, that made me stop. 

"Don't worry, I won't do anything that you won't even notice my presence.  But if you happen to continue with that whatever suspicion you have for me without me doing anything unnatural, I will be the one crushing you. Just remember what I said Arthas, just remember." I said and then left. I don't usually talk, but there are times that I lose it. He grabbed me back.

"You! How dare you talk to me like that? Do you even know who am I? You're a nobody from who knows what empire and I am SOMEONE recognized by the current Queen. Don't dare talk to me like that, don't you dare!" He said in a loud voice, that made everyone look at us.

"I don't know what you sensed about me for you to act like that! Are you perhaps threatened?" I smirked, and when I lose it, I can't stop it.

"Okay!! It's time to enter the doors. I will wait for you on the other side. Good luck young mavens. " sir Gildarts said, as he casted a magic that opened the doors. That made everybody focused on the task. Sir Gildarts disappeared, using his teleportation magic. 

"Okay, let's finish this fast. " Arthas said as he walked towards the door. 

"That was quite a show Azrael, its funny how you answered him like that. As if the current queen is someone good." Heist said, I just hissed at him.

We entered the room, its a forest. Tall trees surrounding us. Where do these trees came from? The door closed itself, now there's no turning back. 

I saw a group of Goblins in a distance, each carrying different weapons. 

Goblins aren't strong monsters, they are weak but they are many. They are focusing quantity over quality. There are 20 Goblins in sight. 

I buffed our front lines, Arthas and Aorion, using my Enhancing magic. 

"Mana Burst." I casted. Mana Burst is a buff that enhances a caster's magic attack depending on how much mana they use. Casting time takes three seconds and its effect lasts for a minute. It's a tier 2 Enhancing magic. 

"Wall breaker" I casted. Wall breaker is a defensive magic, it puts a barrier to the one I casted to. It doesn't prevent damage, it absorbs them. After fifteen seconds of taking damage, the enemy will explode and receive twice the damage. 

We ran towards the group of Goblins, Arthas and Aorion in front and Heist and I in the rear lines. 

"Magnetic Pull" Heist casted. Magnetic pull is a debuff skill, it immobilizes the enemy for twenty seconds. 

"Ice Spikes. " Aorion casted, Ice Spikes is an elemental attack magic. It summons ice spikes to the enemies's spot, having an AoE. Aorion's Ice Spikes took 7 goblins. 

"Light Spikes. " Arthas casted. Light magic can imitate elemental magic as long as the caster can understand the magic's structure. Since Ice Spikes is one of the basic magics, it can easily be understood. Same with Aorion, Arthas' Light Spikes took out 7 goblins. 

"There's six more, and they're gonna counter. " Aorion and Arthas formed a defensive stance, making Wall Breaker more effective. After fifteen seconds, the remaining goblins explodes. 

"That's it for the first wave." Heist said, wearing his big smile and putting on his thumbs up. 

"Let's get going. " Arthas said as he walks deeper in the forest. We followed him, keeping our formation. 

We followed a path, but a group of Goblins ambushed us. There are about fifty of them. 

"Speed Force. " I casted. Speed force is a Enhancement and Defensive skills combined. It enhances your attack speed, movement speed, and casting speed. It also boosts your reflexes so you can dodge attacks better. Casting time is 1 second having an AoE for allies and effects last for five minutes. 

We stepped back, trying to find an appropriate distance. 

Aorion ran towards the center of the Goblins' formation. 

"Water Bloom." He casted. Water came out from his feet and spreads towards the enemy. It slowly freezes. It's like a flower slowly blooming. Water Bloom doesn't deal a great damage but it's DoT is a great help. The DoT lasts for three minutes. Aorion hurriedly went back to our formation. 

The Goblins were slowed down thanks to Aorion's magic and we are fast thanks to my Speed Force. That makes us way faster than usual. 

"Light Rain. " Arthas casted. Blinding lights formed above the Goblins, they look like needles, waiting to pour down. Arthas gestured his hand down, making those light needles rain over the goblins. It took out 37 of them, with the help of Aorion's Water Bloom. 

The remaining 12 was at the rearmost part. 

"Gravity Falls." Heist casted. Gravity Falls is one of the Gravity Magic's attack. It creats a ball of gravity field above the enemy and then falls down with a great impact, dragging the enemies together.  That attack cleared the second wave. 

We heard a loud roar. It's the boss. We ran towards where the voice came from. It's in the exit, behind the boss was a big door, its the exit. 

The boss is an ogre. Honestly speaking it's my first time seeing it, so it somehow overwhelmed me. This will be hard for me. 

"Double damage." I casted. Double damage speaks itself, it doubles the damage of my casted target. 

Range attacks is weak against ogres, melee attacks, on the other hand is effective against it. 

Arthas summoned a light sword from his book, while Aorion summoned his water whip. I focused on making their defense while Heist is to make an opening. 

Arthas and Aorion charged towards the ogre, the ogre have a club as its weapon. He smashed the club unto the ground. Aorion managed to step back while Arthas jumped up. I boosted his jump. 

The club was still on the ground, Arthas used that opportunity to run on the Ogre's arm. He charged and sliced the ogre's neck. It was a shallow cut. Arthas placed his palm on the cut.

"Light Creep." He casted. I get it. He cut the ogre's neck to plant the creep. 

Light Creep is an imitated magic from the original Nature Creep. It's a magic that will plant vines and make it creep on the ground, the vines are strong enough to destroy a structure. But it takes two minutes to effect. 

Aorion covers some time. He continuously sways his water whip. Every time his water whip hits the ogre, it leaves a DoT magic. Frost Bite, frost bite slows down its target, thus making its attacks easier to dodge. They kept dodging the ogre's attacks, waiting for Light Creep to take effects. 

The ogre's body glows. It's time, the Light Creep is showing its effectiveness. The ogre's body swollen up until light vines comes out from its skin. Small vines at first and then large vines. That ended the Ogre's life. 

The door automatically opened. I think it is designed to open once the dungeon is cleared. 

Sir Gildarts welcomed us. 

"Congratulations second group, you finished the second trial faster than expected. "

Azrael Gideon, a young unwanted child lived his whole life alone in a great library for eighteen years. Living there made him close to books, and craves for tomes. 

One day, when he decided to take a walk in a city, he heard a rumor about parents sending their children to a School City, named Zeul Academy, the school of Mavens. 

It is said that everyone at least eighteen is welcome even not having any educational background, if he can pass the entrance exam. 

Pushing his luck at best, Azrael decided to enroll at the academy and reach for his dream to be a Tome Maven. What will happen to Azrael at Zeul Academy? Will he reach his dream or regret going to that School Jail?

Feng Bujue opened his eyes to be greeted by the weak, soft light from inside of the gaming hub. Since he did not sleep the day before and the erratic sleep pattern that followed, his biological clock of sleeping from 4 am to noon that he had built over time was thrown for a loop.
At 2:30 am, he disconnected from the psychological connection and stepped out of the hub because he was struck by a sudden writing inspiration. Opening the door, he took the first step and felt a ball of something gooey and soft under his feet…
At the time, the room was very dark, and he was only wearing his socks. In the short moment, he already came to the correct deduction.
"If this is not cat poop…" He lowered his head. "What else could it be‽"
Twenty minutes later, he wiped the floor clean, washed the socks, and sat on the computer table, staring at Arthas, who looked at him like he had done nothing wrong. These days, personal privacy was a common thing; therefore, the building had a good sound proof system, or else Feng Bujue's screaming, operating the washing machine, and mopping the ground would have sent his neighbors knocking on his door.
Arthas' eyes released a green light in the dark, and looking at it for too long would be rather scary. Feng Bujue stared at the cat for a while before sighing. "I'll deal with you tomorrow."
He chased the cat off the table and opened the computer to start writing. He had not even started the draft for that month's Hapless Detective and his Cat, so since he had some inspiration, he might as well make use of it and start writing. The issue with the Anomaly made Feng Bujue feel conflicted. "If the mere existence of a lifeform is a mistake, then what would the meaning of its existence be?"
This question circled around the man's heart.
When he failed to grasp the answer, he would write about it inside his work—not because he was hoping to get the answer from the readers because he knew some things were unanswerable—he was merely sharing the conundrum with others. To put it simply, when he was caught up in an unsolvable problem, he would turn that problem that affected one person into one that affected many people. In the end, everyone would be dragged into the same position as him. In other words, it was the highest state of harming others without bringing benefit to oneself.
Of course, Feng Bujue could not write about his actual experience from the game in his story, so he had to set up a different plot to tell the Anomaly's story from another perspective, adopting it into an arc within the Hapless Detective and his Cat.
Time flew as he focused on one thing. When he drew away from the story, he realized that the sun was already up, and the draft that he needed for this month was forming. Feng Bujue naturally could not have finished the whole draft within those five to six hours; he was merely constructing the frame. Even so, that was often the most demanding step. After completing this step, the rest was relatively easy. Filling in the content, editing, and then proof-reading! The editor would handle the quality control, but normally, Feng Bujue's draft did not need any checking. He was one who valued his writing quality.
It was a Sunday, and the weather was nice. To Feng Bujue's knowledge, Wang Tanzhi would volunteer at the kindergarten every Sunday, or to use Feng Bujue's own words, it was to 'spend more time with people his own age'.
Feng Bujue did not feel the same fire for voluntary work. Compared to a stand-up youth like Xiao Tan, if he really got involved in things like that… it was more likely for him to scare or be a bad example to the kids.
Speaking of Feng Bujue, the police station in his neighborhood knew his name well. Brother Jue was considered a legendary character there. For cases like a missing body at the hospital, the dog of a family giving birth to a cat, a child suddenly gaining the ability to smash a lightbulb using telekinesis, crop circles, or meteor pieces… As long as someone came to file a report about something supernatural, it was the right thing to find Feng Bujue. Usually, either he was responsible for it, it was related to him, or at the very least, he would be able to help them solve it.
Feng Bujue thought that this was not that bad. For someone like him who did not like to beg others for help but was willing to give others help, instead of saying that he was helping others, it was more like he enjoyed the feeling of 'being needed'. To put it simply, he liked to have others come beg him, and this psychological thought had nothing to do with a sense of social justice—it was mainly his interest.
In any case, this Sunday was going to be a free day for Feng Bujue again. He only had gotten two hours sleep the previous night, and it was a dream-like sleep that was spent in-game. Then he continued to write until dawn. By then, he was quite sleepy. He yawned and crawled back to bed.
When he woke up, it was already noon. This time, Feng Bujue glanced to see if there were newly buried 'mines' from Arthas beside his bed. Thankfully, there were none, but he quickly ran into another when he walked into the living room.
As one who had once had a cat, he had the solution. First, he dragged Arthas to its creation and used both of his hands to hold the cat's face to the feces. Then, before its eyes, he used a paper napkin to pick up the thing and placed it inside the litter box. He led Arthas to the litter box and patted its head to make sure it could recognize the location.
Feng Bujue had tried to use this method when he was small to train his pet to use the human toilet, but it had ended with a failure. Reality proved that the flushing toilet was not designed with a cat in mind. If they were not careful, they would slip, and well…
After cleaning up the mess, he went to cook noodles for himself. He did not have much change left after buying breakfast yesterday, and Feng Bujue was literally penniless. Thankfully, he had Master Bao and Xiao Tan to treat him to two meals earlier to fill his stomach nicely. For the next nine days, until the next month when he could get his book royalties, those chances would not show up again, so he had to follow his meal rations closely and satisfy himself with soup noodles daily.
"Meow…" Arthas looked at Feng Bujue, who was cooking. It seemed to think that he was making something good and wanted a part of it.
Feng Bujue lowered his head to look at it. "Your cat food is far more delicious than this."
Arthas seemed to understand him. It turned and jumped up the sofa to continue sleeping.
Ten minutes later, Feng Bujue carried his noodles to the computer and turned on the monitor. He logged into the forum for Thriller Paradise. Since who knew when, he had adopted the habit of watching or chatting when he ate, or else it would feel like he was wasting his life.
He just slurped down the first bunch of noodles when his eyes landed on the screen, and the first sentence at the top of forum almost made him cough the noodles out.
"As the number of players who have reached the maximum level during Closed Beta has passed ten percent of the total number of players, the server is now closed. We will perform the full upgrade in the next forty-eight hours and reveal the official Open Beta. Thank you."

There were a number of bottles and cans filled with a liquid that could help them overcome the Diseased Wolf's sense of smell. It didn't smell too bad, but no one was keen to spray it on themselves. Eventually, they decided to put it on, but only after they saw the Wolves. 
 There were also antidotes for rabies. If you consumed them, you could get rid of the debuff, but the cost was rather expensive.
 Ashlam Valorfist's business abilities were as good as his fighting abilities. He knew that Lu Li had to buy the items, so he took a hard-line stance on the prices. Lu Li wouldn't have had to spend this much money if he prepared earlier, but now he had no choice but to pay. 
 Now that they had these items, they were able to complete the quest.
 As for whether this would result in a profit or a loss remained to be seen, but they had made all the preparations they needed. 
 The Ruins of Andorhal – Lu Li was no stranger to this place. He had read about it in many documents. 
 It was a small town in the middle of Lordaeron and was once the main location for the Kingdom's wheat production. In the third war, Arthas saved the town from the threat of the undead, but when he became a minion of the Scourge, he destroyed it. 
 Uther the Lightbringer was then killed by Arthas here.
 As the young Paladin's mentor, Uther had repeatedly discouraged Arthes from his manic behaviour and wanted him to return to the holy path of the Paladin. However, for the young Arthas, nothing was more important than revenge. Arthas led in his own dogmatic way, and followed Dreadlord Mal'Ganis to the snow-covered Northern Continent. 
 It was there that he finally got his wish, as he recklessly pulled out the magic sword Frostmourne…
 Arthas had completely deviated from the path of the Paladin, which focused on self-defence. He drew on the dark strength of the sword, and first killed his father, King Terenas, then killed three of his Paladin colleagues. In the end, Uther was also killed in Andorhal by his beloved apprentice. 
 Arthas took away King Terenas' Casket that was being protected by Uther, and used it to complete the Lich ritual with Kel'Thuzad at Sunwell.
 A team under Ashlam Valorfirst had encountered some of members of the Cult of the Damned. Some of them were killed, but the rest escaped. 
 They seemed to be looking for something called a Holy Light Shard. 
 Lu Li was in a hurry, and didn't expect that there would be traces of a Holy Light Shard there. It was a very useful and uncommon Rare Material and was generally used for Forging the most powerful Paladin or Priest equipment. 
 He did not doubt Ashlam Valorfist's words. Everyone knew that Uther the Lightbringer was killed here. He was a powerful Paladin, and when he died, the light energy from his body would condense into a Holy Light Shard.
 "If you can bring back a Holy Light Shard, you can have all these items for free," Ashlam Valorfist said generously. 
 "You can rest assured that if I find the Holy Light Shard, I will bring it back to you," Lu Li responded with equal generosity but in fact, his heart was filled with disdain. Why would anyone want to exchange these items for a Rare Material like the Holy Light Shard? Only a fool who didn't know the value of the Holy Light Shard would do such a thing. 
 However, Ashlam Valorfist apparently did not detect Lu Li's true intentions, and finally gave him a few more bottles that could cure the plague. 
 Of course, these potions couldn't truly cure the plague. The plague of the Undead had always been an uncurable issue in Azeroth, and even the most experienced potion master was helpless against it. This 'cure' was only effective against someone who had just been infected. Even then, there was only a chance that they would be cured. 
 Since Lu Li was as stingy as always, he unceremoniously put all these potions into his own bag.
 Then, the five people that had come out of the Ice-sealed Mountain Stronghold then vanished back into the area of the spreading plague. 
 The once fertile land had now lost any trace of birds and beasts. The lush vegetation had long since vanished from the now scorched yellow sand. The Scourge not only affected the people who lived in Azeroth, but also affected the land itself. No one knew whether this land would ever recover. 
 "We need to find some monsters to test their strength. Although we know that the monsters affected by the plague have been strengthened, we don't know by how much," Lu Li said. He didn't rush just yet to take everyone into the depths of the land. 
 The first things they saw were some ordinary Undead.
 In the Plaguelands, these Undead skeletons could be seen everywhere. Some of them were still
 mostly intact, while the others had been significantly damaged after wandering through the Wild mountainous area. 
 These skeletons were quite incomplete, and they were also quite small. They were probably children that had been infected. When the Scourge arrived, these children probably didn't even know what was happening; their lives had not yet even begun. 
 Lu Li took out a long-ranged weapon and shot an arrow at one of them. 
 The skeleton that was lacking one arm started walking over towards him. It was moving at a moderate pace, but the others seemed indifferent. It seemed that the detection range and intelligence of these beings was relatively low. 
 "Let me try," Water Fairy called out before swiping her dagger across its neck.
 Clang!
 She had successfully hit the target and even managed to apply a stun, but the damage was
 horrible.
 "I could only deal a few hundred points of damage," Water Fairy said with a frown, "And these monsters have at least ten thousand HP. If I can only deal 400 damage, it means they are stronger than an average level 60 Elite monster." 
 After he had been learned this information, Lu Li's heart grew cold.
 It was no wonder that people described the monsters in the Plaguelands in such strong language. These monsters were supposed to just be fodder, but they already possessed such fighting strength. 
 Lu Li was very fortunate to have brought Innocent Child as a healer. As long as the monsters didn't kill everyone, and the healer kept healing, then the difficulty wouldn't be too much of a problem. They just had to make sure that they didn't provoke any monsters they couldn't take on. 
 With the four Thieves together, even a monster with ten thousand HP couldn't survive for long. The little skeleton soon died and dropped a piece of junk, which Lu Li thought was a waste of space.
 Obviously, the Plaguelands were currently harder to clear. The monsters had gotten stronger, but the items they dropped didn't really improve. The next few monsters verified this hypothesis. The monsters weren't overpowered, but they were definitely stronger. 
 "The monsters are a little difficult. It would be better if we could avoid fighting them. I will scout ahead with Stealth. Everyone else, just keep up." 
 Lu Li had Enhanced Stealth, so he was the best scout. 
 Whenever they ran into a monster, they would hide. It took them an hour to cover a distance that could normally be covered in 12 minutes.
 "Wait, stop," Lu Li halted. After a while, a thin dog-like creature ran out from an abandoned building. This creature was like a bag of bones and had red eyes which stood out from the Ruins of Andorhal, an area that was quite foggy. 
 "How did you know?" Cain's Left Hand asked in shock.
 He was also a Thief, and Lu Li was only slight ahead of him. How was it that Lu Li could notice the Diseased Wolf in the corner, but he was completely oblivious?
 "The fog moves, and there is a sound if you listen carefully," Lu Li explained.
 "Wow…" Cain's Left Hand was stunned.
 "Diseased Wolves are a pet of the Cult of the Damned. If we've found them, it must mean that the Cult of the Damned are nearby. Let's spray the potion on our bodies so that the wolves won't find us. We'll decide what to do next once we see the Cult of the Damned believers. Hopefully, they are in the middle of performing their ritual."


He had never invested in shares or bought a lottery ticket, and neither did he have any experience in the general business industry. Lu Li found that the only thing he could do was play games. 

Luckily he had experienced rebirth, and was one step ahead of everyone else. Luckily, games had been developing extremely quickly, and there were many people who had become rich through playing games.

The next morning Yong was led by Tyrande to a open garden where Elder Vaera and Thiggatir was sitting together with his other two heroes having tea, it was not told to him before why he was being called here but the moment he arrive he noticed the gleaming stars in Thiggatir's eyes. It was not that hard to discern what those eyes meant for Yong so he could only see what this old dwarf is about to ask him, but what made him more shocked was Elder Vaera who also had a excited look.

Yong: [Grom did not feed these two Biggra's did he?]

No one talked until Yong took his seat and Tyrande took her seat next to him, it was then Yong was bombarded by questions from Thiggatir and Vaera.

Thiggatir: "Young master! Can ye tell me where ye got these armour yer three heroes are current wearing? The design, the rune inlays, everything is simply brilliant. Is it possible ye have more!?"

Vaera: "Young master Yong, do you have the recipes for the Healing, Mana and stamina potions you provide to your troops!? Our people have been searching for the recipes for ages as the potions we could make is completely inferior compared to the potions you have"

Yong: "Hold up you two, hehe I can understand now what is happening so let me answer your questions. Thiggatir I have a T1 Assassin Armour I Once used that you can make use of to research the composition of the armour and let me know if you can craft it. If you can give me results, I will then give you the next armour set to research. I will only give them one at a time because if you bite off more than you can chew nothing will get done"

Thiggatir: "Hohoho, young master does not have to worry about us dwarves as we simply live to craft"

Yong: [That's why I am worried... I am not running a Black Company!] "Anyway here is the armour I once used, provide results and I will give you the next set."

Thiggatir: "hoho, thank you young master. Well I will be off then, take care of yer health young master Yong"

Thiggatir took the armour Yong took out from his inventory and ran off probably to the mountains where the dwarves started to excavate, their homes are not even completed but these dwarves want to start crafting already which left Yong completely astonished. 

Vaera: "Young master what about me?"

Yong: "yeah yeah, I don't have the recipes but I can give you several bottles of each potion for your people to research it. These potions came from the system and it does not provide recipes which is also why Thiggatir had to research the armour one at a time"

Yong placed a few bottles of Health, Mana & Stamina potion for Elder Vaera to handle, he did consider giving her some Strength and Agility Boost potions to research as well but just like he told Thiggatir it will be too much for the Elves to research as they too have not yet completed their own homes.

Yong: "Antonidas, why have these two come for these things instead of focusing on their homes"

Antonidas: "Young master, the only thing this old man can share with you is the fact their boredom is something we could never fathom how deep it went all these years"

Yong: "sigh.... Grom you kept those Good stuff hidden from them right?"

Grom: "Yes young master, my orc brothers have hidden the stash very well and will only take it out when we have more enemy---- customers coming to Lion City"

Yong: "Good, I checked the system last night and it appears I can set up a battlefield in this subspace permanently. The Battlefield will change each time new battles start on it, and the injured will be transferred to designated locations, so when the Elves finish their research on the healing potions and find a way to improve it as well we can start using this battlefield to train our troops on days nothing much happens outside"

Yong took a sip of his tea looking at the table, he spoke a bit more with his companions before bidding them all farewell as he opens the portal to head to the second subspace that was made of barren lands. As far as he could see there was only withered trees and dry ground, no signs of living beings.

Yong: "This place should be good enough for my last Base to appear in, with this I can slowly introduce the undead under my control to the other three heroes"

In front of him the system interface appears and he started clicking on the Undead building icon, Yong clicked on the Necropolis building icon. Boom! White smoke erupt in front of him covering a large surrounding area before dispersing revealing a Necropolis appeared in front of him. Just from the presence of the Necropolis the temperature in the surroundings dropped and the once brown dried grounds began to turn to ash gray.

Yong: "So the undead buildings really do such things even in real life"

Yong was looking at the grounds that changed with a amazed looks as he was not affected by the changes thanks to the system, but soon cynical voices from the necropolis began to echo around the surroundings as transparent souls began to flying in and out of the necropolis. The next building Yong constructed was the Altar of Darkness, similar to when he constructed other altars the System gave him a prompt to summon his first free undead hero.

Yong: "Summon Death Knight" [Will have to consider if I intend to use the undead to launch night attacks I will need a hero that is fast, power can be compensated with levels at a later stage.]

Similar to the other heroes it took 30 minutes for Yong to hear the neighing of a horse, when he looked up at the altar he saw a black horse wearing a head gear that looks like a ram with blue eyes. It's feet up to it's knees was pale blue and would occasionally emits blue flames when the horse moves, on the back of the horse was a man wearing heavy armour with his long white hair fluttering at his back. 

Arthas: "Arthas extends his greetings to the master"

Yong: "No need to be over polite with me Arthas, I will be treating you similar to how I treat my other heroes and you too should simply call me young master instead"

Arthas: "Yes Young Master"

Yong looked at the interface and saw that Arthas could only learn four skills currently:

Death Coil (up to level 3). The Death Knight could use the power of darkness to shoot energy from his hands which could cause damage to the enemy or cure his companions. Cooling time is 10 seconds.

Death Pact (up to level 3). The Death Knight could kill a unit and take their evil energy to restore his own health. Cooling time is 10 minutes.

Animate the Dead (up to level 3). The Death Knight can summon two dead bodies to fight for him. 1st level 2 undead, 2nd level 4 undead, 3rd level 6 undead.

Sinister Strike (up to level 3). Death Knight can cause 50% damage to the target and affect its soul, skin, flesh, and blood to corrode. The cooling time is 5 seconds

Yong: "Best to have a healing skill for the beginning, don't want him dying on me too soon... Well let's get the other things sorted"

Thanks to the resources that could continuously respawn Yong did not summon that many ghouls to gather resources as undeads could work around the clock unlike his other races, the surprising thing was that two Ghouls counted as one unit so he could summon a hundred ghouls and only fifty unit capacity will be used.

Yong called up the interface and had the Necropolis start summoning Acolytes, each Acolyte only took 5 minutes to summon unlike troops these acolytes had almost no fighting power so he had them construct several Ziggurats, a Graveyard, a Crypt and a Tomb of Relics.

With his current rank Master Sergeant Rank he could summon up to 4,000 troops since both bases merged into one, currently his army was the size of  2000 units, 10 Orc Destroyers and 20 Glaive Throwers.

Yong was assaulted with System notifications that he could now summon two more heroes but the problem laid in the fact each hero cost 200,000 gold which he did not have. Not to mention he could upgrade his Shops (Arcane Vault, Voodoo Lounge, etc) and Blacksmith (War mill, Hunter hall,etc.) could be upgraded to level 2 which also costs another large amount of gold. Yong looking at the screen could only curse this money grubbing System who dares even increase the prices of the monster cards that became troops to much more than regular troops.

Yong: "Fuck! Dark Magician costs 150,000 each, Dark Magician Girl is 100,000... HUH!? Blue Eye White dragon is 500,000 gold? Fuck me! If my territory was not filled with Bandit camps I would have been in a serious predicament with all these bloody prices.... Thank god I got the dwarves and elves that will be able to help me with my equipments and potions in the future otherwise it will be too difficult to build a proper army...."

Yong could no longer look at the system anymore it was about time he breaks the scroll and head back home, he opened the portal and appeared in the empty dwarven mine. For no reason Yong felt like making a marking and set the dwarven mine as one of the designated locations Yong could use to teleport to in the future if he intends to return to the depths of the mountains once again.

Yong: [It was quite a fun journey, I wonder what news I will receive about Carrie if he fled his home or returned to his father... kukuku my troops need more experience dolls to level up]

Yong broke the Home return teleport scroll, a pulsing white magic formation materialized below his feet before he was engulfed in a bright pillar of light before he disappeared from the Mines and reappeared in the forest where the System created the Illusion base. It was quite amazing how the system did the set up as it looks real even up close, the enemies will only notice it is all fake when they try to touch the buildings.

Fox: "Young master! Your finally back!!!"

Yong: "Oh Fox, sorry forgot to warn you about changes"

Fox: "It was soo scary young master! Please don't abandon this one"

Yong: "Don't worry, enter this portal and meet up with Antonidas he will explain what happened" [Well I am too in a rush to get back home to explain to you right now]

Yong opened the portal to the subspace and fox entered it without hesitation as he knew he was still far more useful for his young master as long as there are bandits in the territory, well Yong already planned to make use of this young man's talent to gather information to work for him in Lion town in the future soon.

Yong finally arrived back in town and was surprised at how fast his fiancé's worked with the changes in the town, with the adventurers now coming in while paying polls to enter the mountains at first wanted to complain but when one of them got too rowdy his head was chopped off. There was never another fight about polls once again and the news of the happenings were spread amongst the adventurers so none of them dared causing trouble in this town.

This was one of the things Yong instructed Sueshan to handle since displaying ruthlessness in a powerful way once was more than enough to shock these rowdy bunch into obedience, and thanks to Yong who emptied the mountains of Orcs and Elves the adventurers will not be seeing any other races anytime soon.

Yong pushed open the new Government building seeing how the girls were all relaxing while drinking tea, when they saw Yong arriving they all placed down their cups and came rushing to welcome him back.

Qi Yin: "Welcome back Yong'er! Are you hurt?"

Suehan: "Yong, I am glad your back could you give me the next maths book please?"

Camilla: "Good to see your back, I suppose you had a fruitful journey?"

Suesha: "hmph! Rascal, you need to check up on the kids we selected from the orphanages"

Siwen: "Hehe, I am just happy your back"

Yong: "I'm back, and I will give your stuff later so let's have a feast first!"

The girls got excited when Yong mentioned feast cause they could then use that time without restraint to ask him about his journey as they knew he went in to save the elves and orcs from the adventurers that showed up a few days ago in the town. The feast was quite enjoyable as Yong flirted with the girls while telling them tales of his journey into the mountains especially how he gotten wolves as mounts for his future cavalry plans.

Later that night Yong was sitting in his office placing the territory map still marked with several bandit camps over it, he started planning which camps his heroes need to clear off in the next few days while he will be working in managing the town and set a few more new policies to make the work of the girls easier.

Yin Yong: "I hope I can get Grom and Tyrande to become 3rd Order soon, that way we will have three 3rd Orders including me... It is not strong enough but we are well off compared to how things were before"

A young man can be seen swinging his sword,
he was half naked, showing off his muscular torso,
the young man, was haji whom had been training for a week.

"This damn System and its daily quest" He complained with sweat all over his face.

sensing that someone was watching him, he looked at the source and saw Sylvanas looking through the windows, he smiled and walked towards the house.

as soon as he entered the house, he heard her speak "Haji, we must leave this place"

during their stay together, they both grew fond of each other no matter the race barrier especially when Haji saved Sylvanas from Arthas.

"Why? This place is safer than other areas right now" He said with a tint of fear in his voice, he was just a normal human transported in this whirlpool of hell, and saying that he isn't scared of those vile looking undead is an overstatement.

She looked at him in the eye "I can feel it, they are coming"

He was about to reply when she interrupted 

"The only way we could survive is if we gather more men to fend off those blasted army"

As if hit by sudden realization, he walked towards her and held her hand "Alright, I trust you"

Arthas stood in front of this majestic magical city, dalaran, home of the kirin tor.

Behind him stood his army, the scourge.

He shouted "Wizards of the Kirin Tor! I am Arthas, first of the Lich King's death knights! I demand that you open your gates and surrender to the might of the Scourge!"
His words echoed throughout the City.

An old man suddenly showed up at the City walls " Greetings, Prince Arthas. How fares your noble father?" giving greetings to Arthas.

Staring at the old man "Lord Antonidas. There's no need to be snide." He replied Coldly.

"We've prepared for your coming, Arthas. My brethren and I have erected auras that will destroy any undead that pass through them!" The old Man known as Antonidas said with undying confidence.

"Your petty magics will not stop me, Antonidas." He too was Confident.

"Pull your troops back, or we will be forced to unleash our full powers against you! Make your choice, death knight. " Antonidas stated before teleporting away from the walls,

Arthas did not heed his words and before he march straight to dalaran, Kel'thuzad advised " I sense that three separate wizards are maintaining these auras. If you find and kill them, the auras will disperse." 

He quickly aimed his sword on the city.

"Charge!" As soon as he shouted, Countless undead charged towards the city, while their meat wagons brought forth destruction of the city gate.

As soon as he stepped in the city, he sensed an aura which weakened him and his army, seeing how dangerous it will be if left unattended, Arthas quickly rushed forward with his knights towards the first wizard maintaining the aura.

"Die Wizard!" After a futile struggle of the wizard, Arthas stood victorious and with a sweep of his sword, the wizard died.

As they marched further In the City, Arthas And his troops encountered the base of the mage's guild, the men of the guild fought valiantly but against the endless army of the dead, their struggle proved to be futile.

The second wizard was again, cut down by Frostmourne.

Afterwards the marching undead was forced back by the defending force of the Sorcerer's league, but as time passed, the undead broke through their defenses, leaving them dying to the blade of the scourge.

Arthas then reached a crossroad, to the north lies the archmage, Antonidas, while to the west is the base of the kirin tor.

Arthas took half of his army consisting of his best soldiers and strode along towards Antonidas, while he ordered the other half to destroy the Kirin tor's base.

Arthas and his scourge engaged those who are defending the archmage, and after a fierce battle they stood victorious.

with Kel'thuzad and Tichondrius in tow, they entered the vault where Antodinas lies,

Arthas and Antonidas fought and after successfully Wounding antonidas, Arthas stopped.

"It pains me to even look at you, Arthas." The badly wounded antonidas said as his last words.

" I'll be happy to end your torment old man. I told you that your magics could not stop me." Arthas Slashed his sword Killing Antonidas.

After that, Arthas took the SpellBook of medivh,

he stood outside the vault, watching the destruction his army brought towards this once magnificent city.

"The spellbook is all yours, lich. Let's take it and leave before the wizards amass for their final attack."

"Indeed. I will begin summoning Lord Archimonde at sunset."

Arthas and his Army retreated back Into his Base where they plan to Summon Archimonde.

Outskirts Of dalaran,

"Tremble Mortals and despair!" The demon Bellowed,  "Doom has come to this world!"
with just one glare, The wizards fled at the sight of the defiler.

The demon congratulated The lich that summoned him,
A Dreadlord appeared and welcomed his master.
The defiler was amused.

The defiler's first act was to relieve the lich king of command and turn the scourge over to the
Dreadlords.

The Dreadlord was Pleased hearing the defiler's command,  the defiler then declared that before he launched the Legion's invasion, he would make an example of the wizards by obliterating the city of Dalaran.

The demons then headed off, Leaving Arthas and the Lich behind.

Arthas was outraged over this turn of events.  "What happens to us now?!" He asked.

The lich told him to be patient, as the lich King had foreseen all this and had more plans for arthas.

A demon can be seen Drawing a magic symbol on the ground.
"Let this scar signify the first blow against the mortal world... From this seal shall arise the doom of men... who, in their arrogance thought to wield out fire as their own... Blindly they built their kingdoms upon stolen knowledge and conceit... Now they shall be consumed by very flame they thought to control..." The demon known as Archimonde took a handful of sand And spilled some of it.
A Sand figure of dalaran appeared and then archimonde destroyed the violet citadel in the sand figurine, there as he looked at the city, the real violet citadel crumbled.

Finally, He smashed the whole Sand figurine of dalaran, turning Dalaran into ruins.

Once a majestic kingdom of mages, led by a wise mage.
And yet it was brought to destruction by a once glorious prince.

A young man with not so amazing talent and a tragic past in earth was transported to Lordaeron in Azeroth.

Under Neptune's control, several small-sized insect robots flew out of the tent where Gu Ding was located to search for valuable things in other tents nearby.
Although Neptune was able to detect everything within a kilometer of Gu Ding's location, taking things into their bag was another matter. Under his detection range, Neptune still needed a medium to touch the corresponding items in order to store it in their Inventory. At that time, insect robots were their best choice.
While the insect robots went off to do their job, Gu Ding started refining the medicine.
By the time Lawton and Arthas came back, Gu Ding had refined a tube of medicine. It has to be said that Gu Ding had already slowed down his refining speed to try his best.

"It depends on whether mister pharmacologist agrees to it or not. Your presence may affect his work." Lawton was not sure about leaving Arthas there. Arthas was a genius in the tribe even though he was just a Level 1 Gene Body. As for the pharmacologist of unknown origin, Lawton was still wary of him.
"As long as you don't disturb me. If you do, I'll kick you out," Gu Ding said with a blank expression. Gu Ding did not like Arthas since he was going to become a god in the future. After all, Arthas was going to cause a lot of harm to humans in the Middle Ages.
"Mister pharmacologist, I promise to watch by the side." Arthas looked at him with the same hopeful expression.
Gu Ding nodded. Arthas was still an ordinary kid, so Gu Ding had no intention of making it hard for him.
Arthas sat quietly in the corner of the room as he stared closely at Gu Ding's hands so that he would not miss a thing. Gu Ding ignored him and focused on refining the medicine.
By the next morning, Gu Ding had refined more than one hundred and fifty bottles of medicine. Only two out of all those bottles were of ultimate quality, the rest of them were of perfect quality.
Gu Ding looked up to see where Arthas was. Arthas was still seated in the corner with his eyes wide open, and he was looking at Gu Ding with admiration. "You're so good."
"Thank you." Gu Ding was very happy to hear Arthas praise him. Gu Ding had not expected Arthas to stay up all night to watch him refine medicine without making a sound.
"Are you interested in medicine refinement?" Gu Ding could not help but ask.
"Yep!" Arthas nodded vigorously.
"Do you want to try it? E-grade might be a bit difficult for you, so you can start with F-grade first," Gu Ding said as he picked out several kinds of materials and started to refine them. Under less than two minutes, Gu Ding managed to refine a bottle of F-grade Cell Enhancer.
"Find a place and try it out yourself. Don't try to refine it here, you might cause an explosion and affect all the medicines that I've refined." Gu Ding threw a handful of materials toward Arthas and sent him out of the tent.
Arthas took the materials and left the tent in great excitement.
At that time, Lawton was on his way over to Gu Ding's tent when he saw the materials in Arthas' hands. He frowned and said, "Arthas, where did you get those materials from?"
"Master Pharmacologist gave them to me. He even taught me how to refine an F-grade Cell Enhancer." Arthas looked very happy.
"You were there all night?" Lawton could not help but ask.
"Yeah. Master Pharmacologist is very good at medicine refinement. He managed to refine most of the medicine to perfect quality," Arthas praised Gu Ding as if he worshipped him.
When Lawton heard that, he stopped asking questions and rushed into the tent. When he saw piles of perfect quality medicine laying around on the ground, he was a little stunned. "It's no wonder the high priest said that he was a pharmacologist genius..."
"I already used up quite a lot of my spirit, so it was hard for me to focus on the last two bottles. I'll rest for an hour. You can wake me up when the time comes and I'll continue refining." Gu Ding laid down on a bench made out of rattan and slowly closed his eyes.
Lawton initially wanted to refute and ask Gu Ding to continue his work. However, seeing the perfect quality medicines, he decided to keep his mouth shut. He turned to leave the tent and headed right for the high priest's tent.
"He managed to refine more than one hundred and fifty bottles of medicine in one night, and almost all of them are of perfect quality!" Lawton reported the matter to the high priest in his tent.
"I know." The high priest did not seem surprised by Gu Ding's medicine refinement ability. "Just keep an eye on him. If anything happens, come straight to me."
Lawton soon exited the tent.
Then, the high priest's finger moved and the tent's door immediately closed shut. Next, the high priest took out a golden chalice and placed it respectfully on the ground in front of him. He proceeded to take a knife out, slashed his wrist, and allowed his crimson blood to flow into the chalice.
When the blood began in the chalice began to overflow, he moved his fingers over his wound and it healed in an instant.
Subsequently, he began to speak in strange tongues that could not be understood.
About a few minutes later, the amount of blood in the chalice began to decrease slowly, and a black mist slowly started to condense above the chalice.
"The great Witch God, please guide us!" The high priest knelt respectfully on the ground.
"Regardless of whether the amount of medicine refined is enough, kill the three outsiders before sunset tomorrow. I can only last until then for this time's space-time backtracking..." The black mist was erratic and a weird voice was heard from it.
After that, the blood in the chalice dried up completely and the black mist dispersed into the air.

"This space-time backtracking is man-made?" Gu Ding was puzzled. "But didn't you say that even gods aren't able of doing this kind of thing?"
"Some gods are weak and some gods are strong. This Witch God in particular seems like a very powerful existence. To be honest, I never thought a god of this caliber existed." It was completely out of Neptune's data records. That was why he had the wrong impression regarding the matter. If it were not for Robert's robots, the three of them would not have known what they were going to have to face.
"Before sunset tomorrow... How are we supposed to escape from a Level 12 Gene Body?" Gu Ding frowned.
