Carter Jones is one of your every day average teenagers. One day his luck changed when he was transported to a strange Coliseum, the Coliseum of Worlds. This story is about Carter and the challenges he faces being one of the many gladiators in the Coliseum of worlds.

Celes- here we are. This is the tomb. We need to get to the bottom floor.

Rainy- here is were all those monsters begun to follow you, right Ruby?

Ruby- yes... 

Locke- Ruby. Even if I like that you want to be a treasure hunter too, you should wait until you are faster, or stronger... we don't want you to get hurt.

Ruby- but this place is close to Kohlingen! I thought that would be easier...

We continued through the tomb, and it was pretty easy as Ruby said. Only spirits and skeletons. The spirits were a pain because normal weapons are not that effective... but 1 shot with my guns and they go down. We followed Locke inside the tomb, because he was searching for traps. And sometime later we found a really long staircase.

Locke- good. There shouldn't be any monsters this far inside the tomb.

Celes- yes, and at the end should be the new Blackjack. 

Rainy- we still have a week until the opera begins... what do you want to do in the meantime?

Juny- I don't care...

Harry- me neither..

Sirius- Celes, do any of you want to go somewhere?

Celes- not really-

Ruby- we could visit your friends!

Celes- ... Locke, help me out on this one-

Ruby/Locke- can we? Can we??

Celes- urg... fine! If they agree, we can go visit our friends.

Ruby/Locke- yes! 

Rainy- then is settled? We are visiting the other heroes?

Juny- it seems so...

Rainy- quick question! Is there a place were I can train?

Celes- train?

Rainy- yes, something like a tournament, or something like that?

Locke- to the north of Kohlingen, there is a place called Dragon's Neck Coliseum. There you can bet items to fight 1 vs 1 against another guy. And the one that wins get's both items.

Rainy- wow, that sounds like fun! Can you drop me there?

Harry- don't you want to see the other heroes?

Rainy- I prefer to train, and maybe I can get some awesome items on the way.

Celes- you'll have to be careful with your magic. Some people might think of you as the next Kefka as that was the last time magic was seen in the world.

Rainy- I can beat anyone without magic... unless it's as strong as Sabin... 

Juny- here we are! Wow!

We entered the door at the bottom of the stairs, and saw the Blackjack. It was a pretty cool airship, and it looked like a Zeppelin but more... medieval? Something like a steampunk zeppelin with a ship's wheel to control it.

Rainy- neat.

We all got inside the airship, with Ruby being really enthusiastic about everything, and Celes and Locke made the airship work. When it begun to move, the ceiling opened, and we got out of the tomb with the new Blackjack. 

Celes- good, then you want to be left on the coliseum, right Rainy?

Rainy- yes.

Celes- then we are going north.

Meanwhile we were getting closer to the coliseum, Harry grabbed my arm to talk in private.

Harry- Rainy, shouldn't you take it easier?

Rainy- Harry... I am taking it easier. But I can't do anything if I really want to have fun on a coliseum. There will be opponents! And awesome items! And, and... and that's all I can think off... but anyway, it will be fun!

Harry- just remember that you are still 13... 

Rainy- I know, I know... I'm going to take a nap while we get there.

Harry- fine.

[inside Rainy's mind, while taking the nap]

Odín- I can feel something strange coming from the coliseum...

Ifrit- you too? It maybe is another GF...

Odín-... no, is something stronger... a being that once acted as a GF... but not anymore.

Ifrit- what? Does something like that exists?

Odín- yes... I fought against him before Squall came to my ruins. He was really strong, and tried to steal my sword. I just hope that Rainy doesn't have to use the keyblade... or she will have to fight him too. 

Ifrit- but the keyblade can't be stolen... 

Odín- but that fool doesn't know that...

[meanwhile, on the coliseum]

???- I feel someone strong coming here... it might have a strong weapon too... I can't wait to see it's combat style!

12th April 1442
It was 2 days away from the twin's first birthday and the Macleod Coliseum seemed to be nearly ready for us to have a round of inspection and to finalise its launch date and grand opening. 

Although the Coliseum could be clearly seen from all sides, there were gantries that prevent the citizens to gain unlawful entries into the Coliseum before it was properly launched. Besides, we would not want the citizens to get so excited too early, am I right? 

The helpers were busy sweeping the bleachers free from wood chips and shaving from the planers that some of the workers had used on the planks of wood that was used as the seats of the bleachers. 

The workers made sure the planks of wood were free from burrs and splinters that might harm the spectators. As the area was slowly and meticulously inspected by the helpers, each held chalk in their hands and they marked those surfaces that need to be planed once more. 

The workers walked the grounds, ensuring that everything was in proper order before the option to launch the opening of the Macleod Coliseum would be announced.

"Finally, there would be a perfect ground for the citizens to watch the game in the best setting ever. This idea of having a kind of 'U' shaped sporting arena was pretty a welcoming idea after all."

"So, we would have a sporting event throughout the whole year, you mean, Your Majesty?"

Frank was excited as well since its the first time he had seen such a huge structure being built just for entertainment purposes. Besides, I was referring it to the drawings of some of the examples they were found in the reference journals that was brought back by Eagle. 

If I do not have such reference journals, I don't think I would have any knowledge on the art of war, the sporting events during the ancient times and also the design of the coliseum. 

It would not be something with lots of marbled columns and such but a simplified version based on the engineers' train of ideas.

"Your Majesty, as for those boxing and wrestling events, your idea was to have benches placed bear the rings so that the citizens were able to watch the matches up close?"

"Wow... I really loved the idea a lot since the distance from the nearest bleachers would still be too far away for the spectators to view perfectly, don't you think so?"

"Aye, my good man... Of course, it would, unless the spectators became the participants themselves. Hahaha."

I joked for some time with Ben and Frank as the workers had rectified the faults along the bleachers and made the wooden planks as smooth as possible. It would be months before the workers come again to rectify the faults due to wear and tear.

"Your Majesty, so when would you be announcing the grand opening? Would it be on both the Prince's and Princess' birthday?"

Old Jack sidled up next to us after he had settled with some of his work and can't help but admire the Magnifique of the coliseum.

"Definitely, Old Jack... Those two are considered as your grandchildren so this coliseum is to honour in their name as well."

I replied as Heather soon arrived with the stroller and the bubbly twins in them. I held Amy up in my arms while Old Jack bounded Jay-R in his as both twins looked at the sporting arena before them and watching the men go about their work.

We watched on as I rambled on to Amy about the coliseum where there would be lots of sporting event lined up each week for the community to observe and also to cheer for their favourite athlete or teams.

Amy was simply cooing in my arms as she blinked and nodded as if she understood every single word I had said to her.

I kissed both twins as I placed them back in the stroller and secured the sash around their waist as Heather wheeled them back to the courtyard where the twins once again were exposed to the elements.

In this way, it would be their way as interactions with the public even though they are being wheeled in their strollers.

There were some children who were chasing after a blown-up pig's bladder and the screaming, cheering children caught the eyes of the twins as they watched the happenings around them and were clapping their dainty little hands together as if they were giving some moral support to the children.

It won't be long, my dear children where you would be joining the rest of the children to school and to play.

I excused myself and followed Heather along as we went to the gazebo next to the school where we set the stroller aside and placed the children on our laps as they watched the fountain that was set in the centre.

The heat in the water was regulated so that it would not get frozen in winter and there was all kind of fish swimming amidst the aquatic plants. Both twins on our laps sat up and reached out to touch the water as they splashed happily, ending up being slightly soaked in the process.

"Our babies would turn a year old ** two days time, dear. The Macleod Coliseum would be announced open on that day itself, eh? So what kind of sporting event are you trying to showcase?"

Heather asked with anticipated eyes as she was also an avid spectator for such sports. I don't think I would be having a wrestling match soon as I would end up with bruises after a single match. Also, I'm sure the twins would pick up her habits and they both would start wrestling behind our backs...!

Maybe a 'folk football' match instead and played by children?

This I would announce during the night conference later as I had not done so in quite a while and so announce I did.

I had gotten Samuel to be the town messenger as he announces the news of a night conference after dinner. Everyone had passed the message around and after dinner at their homes or at the new Gracehaven's Greasy Spoon, throngs of citizen came over to the town Square as they listened to my announcement.

"Please assemble your children who were kicking the blown-up pig's bladder so we would be making two teams of 7 players for the launch of our Macleod Coliseum."

"Coloured tabards would be issued to differentiate the two teams and they would play a round of 15 minutes each."

"If we have more than enough children, we would, therefore, make 4 teams of 7 players each and they would be playing just as a demo match against one another."

"It's a formality for the opening of the Macleod Coliseum and also to celebrate the one year of our twins."

The citizens clapped their hands and cheered loudly. It had been some months since they had an event and they welcomed the idea of having a friendly match of 'folk football' in 2 days time.

They immediately enrolled the excited children as the pioneers helped to gather their names. As we had more than enough names, a total of 6 teams could be assembled and I made up my mind to away the winning team in a round-robin knockout system to have prize money of 14 silvers.

That's 2 silvers each per player for the winning team.

During the period of 1337-1453, a terrible war broke in Medieval England and that period was called (Hundred Year's War) and a huge turmoil ensued between the England and France with the involvement of rebels as well as opportunists. 

Prince Audemars Macleod, a descendent of King Richard Macleod of Darlington had barely managed to escape with his life when the Manor he was living in was besieged by rebels in 1440, when he was just barely 18 years old.

Let us travel through time and relive the experiences of this young Prince as he was forced to 'banished' and survive with some followers they entrusted their lives with him.

   So Alexander are you exited to see the gladiators? Yes dad! I want to see them fighting with lions! Haha you will, Alexander.      Here it is the Coliseum! Wow dad he is huge!
 Did grandfather fought here when he was a  gladiator? Yeah son, your grandfather,the mighty Felix who have killed Commodus and the gladiator  from who everyone were afraid! He killed his enemies with his sword made of a gold and defend from his opponents with his shield made of silver! Your grandfather was one of the most skillful and strong gladiators who ever lived!

   Dad look, the gladiators are comming to the arena! Now prepare to meet the demon from 
Aquileia, the beast who always kills his opponents with the most brutal way, say hi to Aelius! See son this is Aelius he fight with two swords and no shield. But why dad, isn't he going to die if he fight only with swords? No, Alexander he can attack with the first sword and defend with the second one. That's amazing dad! Now on the oppostite sife of the arena is comming the roman beast who  kills everyone who stands in his way, this is Varinius! Varinius flips his daggers. Now prepare to die you coward! Haha don't make mi laugh Aelius you will be a easy one! The two gladiators start fighting. Aelius defends well. Now Aelius is attacking. He was close to kill Varinius. Haha is that the best you can do? You just scratch me! Aelius move well. Again he is close to kill his opponent but Varinius dodged the swords! Now Varinius have the advantage. He dodge every Aelius attacks. Varinius take of one of the Aelius' swords. Now Aelius have to fight with only one weapon. Varinius knows that if he want to win, he have to attack now! Varinius cut off Aelius' right hand. Now Aelius is without swords and there is no one who can help him now! Varinius is next to his opponent. Will he spare or will he kill him? He killed him! He cut off Aelius' throat and now he is laying on the ground dead. Wow dad, that was amazing! Yes son, sure it is. But now we have to come back at home to help your mother. Ok dad lets go!

– Yiang Sei! –, most of the Elders screamed angry, – Catch him! –, Some experts appeared srrounding Yiang, Qiao Qing almost screamed, but she restrained herself. Yiang disapeared from the sight of thos experts and appeared close of the cabin on which the elders were sitted.

– Be calm, you damn old people, is not with you who i want to chit chat –, Yiang dissapeared again and appeared in front of the Patriarch's cabin. – Is with you, however, Cain, Sei –, Yiang has a serious face, he was standing on the barandal of the cabin, Qiao Qing was very surprissed, on her mind she was very delighted for what was happening, but also she was worried for Yiang getting on a very big problem, they both crossed looks and in that second they shared some kind of mini magical moment, Cain Sei, the blonde guy, was with a somber face, Berai was watching Yiang, emotionless, and preparing her dagger behind her waist.

– Yiang Sei –, she muttered, with her face being deformed by the anger.

– Shut Up, nosy vixen bitch, i am not talking with you, we will fix matters after crippling your son –.

– What do you want Yiang, it seems you'd got some luck, but are you stronger than me? –, asked Cain Sei very serious, looking with burning hatred to Yiang.

– No, i am not stronger than you, but in a year i will be –, answered Yiang very arrogantly, – but i will give you three years more to prepare your *ss, so i will state right now, Cain Sei, do you dare to fight with me, Yiang Sei, in four years, from now on?! – Yiang screamed, with the suffice potence, letting every person of the coliseum hear him, the experts taht were following Yiang, arrived just next to him, so he backed down, falling down to the arena, berai and the experts atacked but, when they realized, Yiang was again on the center, looking at them with somekind of mocking manner, the experts looked him with hatred and launched themselves towards Yiang. –So, Cain, do you dare?! –, Cain laughed very loud.

– Are you saying that you, a mere crippled one, can defeat me?, hahaha!!, don't make me laugh, i accept your ridicule challenge! –, the Experts followed Yiang through al the arena, yiang just smilled, and then dissapeared, appearing on the ceiling of the coliseum, he stared to run to escape but suddenly he stopped and looked meaningfully to Cain Sei.

– by the way, who said that i was crippled? –, after this, Yiang dissapeared. The coliseum was in a full deadly silence.

– Catch him!, Search him!, Rip him on thousands of little pieces! –, the angered voice of Berai Chao Sei, was heard on the every part of the coliseum, the experts moved spreading themselves throughout the clan, the Elders were silent with somber looks on their faces, they felt humiliated by that child, he even looked down upon them, the silence became a big conmotion.

– i will send the Flower experts –, spoke the Seventh elder, angered.

– I will aport –, answered every one of the elders. Cain Sei was near the balcony of the cabin, where Yiang was before, when Yiang challenged him, he saw the sky with a deformed face of the anger, he crushed the cabin out of anger, and walked out of the cabin, while her mother jumped and reached the ceiling of the coliseum, her face was the same of her son, but she was even more angered, having a fine sword on her left hand and on her right hand was the dagger of which she intended to kill Yiang, she saw the direction in which Yiang ran, standing calmly, the patriarch was standing next of his seat, with the eyes closed, he was breathing calmly, he was indifferent.

– This child... made a big, trully big problem –, muttered to himself, – Assembly!, is Over!!!–, the scream was heard throughout every part of the coliseum, and then, Long Sei dissapeared, leaving a little crater on the floor, the only one that was left on the room was Qiao Qing, she was sweating a little.

"They are crazy!", was her thought.

A white haired lady appeared besides of Qiao Qing.

– Little Mistress Qiao, is time to go, the assembly has ended... by the way, you gave Little Master Yiang the clothes were supossed to be for the Little Master Cain, right? –, the white haired lady, asked, emotionlessly, Qiao Qing saw the lady with a look of worry, and put her finger on her lips, symboling silence.

– Please, don't say anything, it seems no one noticed it –, Said Qiao Qing, sweating from her back, the Lady smiled.

– Don't worry too much, little Mistress, worrying too much will cause you some wrinkles –, Qiao Qing walked close to the lady and grabbed her hand, – Little mistress, the scarf you made was the most beautiful piece of clothing i ever saw in the world –, then both of them dissapeared.

– "Run!, I can sense every expert on the clan searching like cocroachs out of the sewers!" –, screamed Scarred on the mind of Yiang.

Yiang was running like crazy, his legs and waist were full of pain, he had used excesively the essences, actually Yiang was feeling how his legs were wrecking itselvesand, but he didn't stopped, and when he was about to get out of the clan, out of the sudden, a tall man, of abundant, blonde beard and long, untied, fair blonde hair hanging down to his back, majestuously, with a very elegant piece of clothing, symboling his status, and an indifferent look, he appeared in front of Yiang.

He was the Patriarch, Wu Zhao Long Sei. Yiang stopped astounded, "Such speed!", screamed in his mind.

– You're... Yiang Sei, Aren't You? –, asked Long Sei on avery montonous voice, Yiang felt a pressure almost crushing his will, – I think you're not my son, so i should kill you, right now –, Long Sei lifted his hand, and pointed it towards Yiang, a palm-sized ball of Qi appeared on his hand.

– "His cultivation level... it is a Royal Martial level five!" –, muttered Scarred on the mind of Yiang. 

Yiang started to sweat, a Royal martial, his power was out of Yiang's power.

– You are very similar to your mother, you're revelious, sturdy and savage, i liked too much those traits of her, but she didn't wanted to be a real concubine of mine, she refused, and even she wanted to leave the place, but i didn't let her leave –, the ball grew bigger at the time Long spoke, after wards, he sighed.

A lot of experts surrounded both of them.

– Wow!, tha patriarch reached the Fifth level of the Martial Royal Phase!–, screamed most of the experts surprissed.

– i will circulate it quickier –, whispered Yiang, Scarred understood the menaing of those words, so he was scared.

– "Wait!!" –, Yiang released big threads of Essence True Primordial and Void Primordial, the both circulated aggressively through his meridians, he felt a terrible pain, but he felt how his power raised like crazy, this sudden fake improvement released a big wave of air on his surroundings, surprissing every expert present, Long launched his attack, quickly, the Qi ball flew in a fast speed towards Yiang, he saw the ball appear in fornt of him, he was suprprised but he reached to dodge it, his meridians trembled, Yiang ignoring the pain, jumped making a big crater and ran in a speed that almost surpasses the sound speed, Long Sei saw the child escape, feeling lazy.

Most of the experts followed the direction on which Yiang ran. One expert waited with the Patriarch.

– He was... Was he on the royal Martial level? –, asked some experts, very nervious.

– No, he wasn't, but he will probably get crippled by using whatsoever he used, let's go, they would find his body soonly or later –, the patriarch walked indifferently and then, dissapeared, the experts followed a little after.

Dropped, dunno if I will continue it or not

Sky arena, if one wanted to compare it with something on earth, it will be like the Roman Coliseum, it was a huge arena were champions bet their lives on. Alfonso and Unstoppable arrived at the entrance of the Coliseum where someone was waiting for them.
"Represent of the north, please this way" Said a maid.
Alfonso, with the help of Unstoppable walked to the furthest part of the Coliseum where two persons were waiting.
"Oh? If isn't Miss Underheanves" Said the man.
"Welcome, brother, Miss Underheavens" Said a girl.
The man and woman were no other than the crown prince and the fifth princess of Leitol, Alfonso's brother and sister, Fernando, and Susana.
"Good day to you, my lords" Said Unstoppable.
Alfonso 'looked' at the duo in front of him and didn't pay attention to Fernando's rudeness.
"Good day to you too, sister… brother" Said Alfonso.
"You don't have the right to call me brother" Said Fernando with coldness.
Alfonso smiled sarcastically.
"Really? As a future king, you shouldn't be acting so childish" Said Alfonso.
Fernando furrowed as he moved towards Alfonso.
"You little shit, don't think that you are so great just because you could make me bend, that was just m underestimating you…. But it won't happen again" Said Fernando.
"Of course I know, I am just a poor blind man with a cane, I assume that 'MY LORD' wouldn't mind such a figure who is so beneath you, would you?" Said Alfonso.
"This little…" Fernando became even more angered.
"Big brother, stop making a scene, and you, brother, know that you aren't part of the Lockheart family, is indeed a little bit unrespectful to address the current emperor as brother" Said Susana.
"Well, that might be the case" Said Alfonso.
Fernando didn't say anything and turned without looking back. Susana nodded to Alfonso and Unstoppable before turning to leave as well.
"Your brother is an asshole isn't it?" Asked Unstoppable after they left.
"I can't deny that, however, he is just hungry for power, that was the class of people my father rose" Said Alfonso.
"What about you? What are your ambitions?" Asked Unstoppable.
"I am too busy to think about ambitions, food and my loved ones, that's all I need for now" Said Alfonso.
Unstoppable looked at Alfonso before laughing.
"This is why I said you are not my type" Said unstoppable.
Alfonso also laughed.
"Well, I am just being me I guess"
With that, the two of them moved forwards to the conference room, nobody was there yet since the conference was in five hours, so they looked around and went to rest on the audience seats in the Coliseum.
"How strange, where is your representant?" Asked Alfonso.
 "He should be here by in three hours fifty-nine minutes and fifty-nine seconds" Said Unstoppable.
"What?"
"He has this super weird complex that he can't be neither late nor early, he has to be on time" Said Unstoppable.
"What a weird" Said Alfonso.
"Tell me about it, he has been like that since always" Said Unstoppable.
"Oh? You know him well?"
"More than what I would like to, we grew together, since my father and his father are friends" Said Unstoppable.
"Oh?"
"He has been like an annoying little brother" Said Unstoppable.
"Mmm… let me ask you this just to be sake… how did he react when you told him that you were getting married?" Asked Alfonso.
"What are you talking about? I didn't have time so of course, I haven't told him yet" Said Unstoppable.
Alfonso felt an incoming headache.
"What's wrong?" Asked Unstoppable after seeing Alfonso.
"No, it just that I felt a lot of trouble are coming in my way" Said Alfonso.
"?" Unstoppable didn't understand.
Anyway, the two of them chatted for some time and, before they knew it, they were chatting like old friends. Although both have different views of the world, that contrast made them interested in the point of the other one.
"My lords, it's almost time" A maid called for Alfonso and Unstoppable.
"Let's go Al" Said Unstoppable.
Unstoppable changed the way he called Alfonso.
"Sure" Said Alfonso.
Unstoppable grabbed Alfonso by the hand and both went to the conference room.
They passed through the entrance when they saw a couple walking towards them.
"It's that you? Unstoppable?" A man's voice interrupted both.
"Little Fedrick, you are on time as usual" Said Unstoppable.
"Stop calling me like that, my name is Fedrick"
The man was a little shorter than Alfonso and had blue hair and blue eyes, he had an elegant outfit with a big black hat. Beside him, a clothed person was standing behind him.
"Hmm?" Fedrick looked at the holding hands of Unstoppable and Alfonso.
"And this gentleman is?" Asked Fedrick.
"He is Alfonso Lockheart" Said Unstoppable.
Fedrick smiled sarcastically.
"Ho? The foolish prince? It is an honor to meet you" Said Fedrick with sarcasm.
"The pleasure is mine" Said Alfonso.
"Careful now, Fedrick, he is my fiancée, don't be disrespectful" Said Unstoppable.
"Wha-! Fi-fi-fiancée!?" Shouted Fedrick.
The person behind Fedrick also trembled a little.
"Sin-since when? How? Why?" Asked Fedrick.
"It's a long story, we will talk later, let's go" Said Unstoppable.
She turned around and dragged Alfonso with her.
Alfonso also turned, however…
"Wow, if eyes had the power to kill, I will had died more than a thousand times already" Though Alfonso.
"However… something is strange"
Alfonso turned his head and sure, behind him, Fedrick had fire on his eyes, while his eyes were clutching.
"That's what I expected… however…"
"Why do I feel this much killing intent for the person in the heavy cloth?" Though Alfonso.

Alfonso stopped for a second and let go of Unstoppable hand, then he turned around.
Fedrick was still looking at him with fierce eyes, however, the killing item of the clothed person decreased.
"What the hell?" Though Alfonso.
"What is it Al? come on, let's go" Said Unstoppable while grabbing Alfonso's hand.
Suddenly, the killing intent of the clothed person increased and surpassed by far the previous killing intent.
Alfonso was even more confused now. The killing intent was so thick that Alfonso could swear that he could touch it.
"Why!? why did I do this time!?" Though Alfonso.


Alfonso was a historian of earth who suddenly appear in the body of Alfonso Lockheart, a fallen prince that is the Lord of a formal city known as the wasteland valley, with infertile land and losing the protection of their god, the wasteland valley is land that is destined to be destroyer by the extreme weather and the attacks of beast.

Alfonso was in a despair situation; however, he wasn’t destined to fall in this land, that is because....

Momodi, the proprietress of the Quicksand, asked Josua to do three things as his first task of being an adventurer. His first task was to attune himself to the city's Aetheryte, which was next to the Hall of the Immortal Flames.

There, he met a Brass Blade guard named Nenebaru. He didn't recall ever meeting the guard before back then, thus this Lalafell must be the one that replaced the old one some time ago. After attuning to the Aetheryte and receiving some explanation from him regarding how teleport works, the Return skill and of the Aetheryte, he was then told to visit the Gladiator's Guild near the Colosseum, his old training grounds.

He then spoke with the Guild Master, Lulutsu, who explained to him about the Gladiator's Guild, and what's to come after he reached what's basically the pinnacle of Gladiators. He was then directed to go to the markets in the Steps of Thal.

There, he met with Seseroga, who recognized him. The man greeted him, and explained on how the market works, and what was available there. He also explained to him of the importance of the market and its history. Both talked for a little more, before he excused himself to go back to the Quicksand.

After completing the three tasks, Josua returned to the Quicksand to report back to Momodi. She asked him if he remembered the paths, since it's been awhile, and she was worried. She lets out a sigh of relief, reminded him to remember these places so he won't wander around aimlessly, and to explore with a purpose in mind. He was then given some gils as a reward for completing his first assignment from her.

He then heads out and decided to fill some of the hunting logs that was given to him by Lulutsu. After some time, he managed to finish several parts of the first chapter of the log. He then went back to the city to repair his equipment.

While walking back through the entrance of the city, he met Wymond again. The man then asked him to send a message to Josias at the Pugilists' Guild, which was located inside the Platinum Mirage. After agreeing to his request, Wymond then gave Josua the message, contained in an unsigned envelope.

He went on to the Pugilists' Guild, and gave it to Josias. The message was apparently about someone who wanted to purchase the protective services of the Pugilists' Guild. However, the said person was found lacking in finances, hence it was recommended that they should decline the interested party. With this done, Josua was given his reward of 103 Gils and he left the joint.

As he went back to the Steps of Nald, he only momentarily saw Gelther along the way, but the other party was not pleased with how Josua looked at the man. The man then approached him, saying that he's willing to let it go if Josua was willing to deliver a message for him.

"Do I look like a messenger to you?" Josua thought in his mind.

Deciding that it wasn't worth the money to pick a fight with this prick, he accepted the task. Gelther then told him about the specifics: to go find a Lalafell named Dildata and give the dwarf a rather colorful ultimatum, since the sod failed to repay his debts.

Josua then left and went on to find the small sod, sighing just after a distance away from Gelther. He wasn't exactly thrilled to do this kind of job. But nonetheless, it was at least rewarding in experience. He later found the aforementioned Lalafell, and gave him the message of "impression" from Gelther. It was pretty obvious that the sod was quite terrified, and pledged to repay his debts.

With that settled, Didilata asked Josua's help to go to the Arrzaneth Ossuary, find an appraiser named Mamane, and have her appraise Didilata's heirloom: his deceased mother's wedding ring, which was thought to be tremendously valuable.

When he reached the place, found Mamane and had her appraise the ring, she coolly declared that the ring was a fake. She then proceeded to demand a fee for her work, but was willing to let it slide, should he be willing to let her "dispose" the ring, free-of-charge.

"What a bloody ripoff..." Josua thought as he agreed to let her do it. He knew that the ring was probably real, and that she was just trying to con him. Then again, the fee was just a tad more than he could afford.

With that, he has no more debt to the Ossuary, though it didn't do anything for Didilata. The poor lad will have to deal Gelther on his own for this one. He then went back to the city.

As he walked through the Steps of Nald, again, he encountered a Lalafell named Hihito. The woman was not happy with her husband who had poor work ethics and needed someone to whip the man into shape. He asked what can be done to help her, and she asked him to somehow motivate the man, since her husband lacked ambition, which ruined them financially. She then pointed him to a place just outside the Coliseum, where his husband should be.

He went to the location, and after arriving, he then tried to motivate the other party, Bobonima, the aforementioned husband of Hihito. The small man wasn't happy with Josua meddling into his personal life. Taking advantage of him, Bobonima then tasked him to put up Franz the Fair flyers inside the Coliseum.

"This guy..." Josua thought, with his anger inside him boiling, as he went on and put up the flyers at the suitable places inside the joint.

He then went to the Gladiator's Guild and told Wolkan about helping Bobonima. The man was grateful of what he did, but also gave him his sympathies, since the rocky relationship between Bobonima and his wife, Hihito, was anything but a secret by this point.

As he left the place and went to stroll at the Steps of Nald, he met a Gladiator Lalafell named Zazarikku. The dwarf asked for his help to pick up an order from the Goldsmiths' Guild. He wanted to look dazzling at his debut in the Coliseum, hence the need for style. Josua agreed, simply on his own whim, aside from being a fellow Gladiator at the time. He simply needed to present Zazarikku's receipt to Jemime and collect the circlet.

Later on, when he met the lass in question, she said that the circlet wasn't ready because they ran out of garnets. Jemime then asked him to explain the ordeal to Crooked Haft at the Miners' Guild so he may expedite his next shipment of garnets.

Arriving at the Miners' Guild, he went to Crooked Haft. He knew Zazarikku, and wasn't exactly pleased with his obsession of style. Nonetheless, he agreed to ensure that the Goldsmiths' Guild will receive the necessary garnets. With the task done, he then left and went back to stroll at the Steps of Nald.

As time passed by, he didn't realize that he went from the Steps of Nald to Steps of Thal. Continuing to walk around the place, he stumbled upon Julianna, while he was around the Sapphire Avenue Exchange. Being a part of the Weaver's Guild, she was troubled because the Guild was severely lacking in manpower, after an influx of orders came from a gathering of the city's elites. She then asked him to help her by welcoming any potential workers to aid them in dealing with the chaos. But before that, she had him practice his welcome with her.

"Not bad. I say that's good enough to get the job done!" She said.

"Well then, I'll be back later." he then said to her, with her approving of his welcoming capability.

He then went around outside the Guild and welcomed much of the passerby. However, after all said and done, only two were interested in taking up the needle for the guild. He then went back to Julianna to report back on the results.

"Well, at least we got something..." She said, somewhat disappointed, but seemed to be quite glad of the helping hands that they've gotten. She then handed him a reward of 102 gils and she went off.

Back on his stroll, he was walking around the Coliseum, when he came across Genevieve. Being of nobility, she was shocked to be addressed by someone she assumed to be of common birth, she dropped a large amount of gils on the ground.

"Now look at what you've made me do! Go pick it up, you commoner!" She said angrily.

"Wow, she has no chill. Westerners, pfft." He dismissively thought as he went and picked up all of the gils. It's just wasn't worth the hassle to deal with her, so he just picked them up and gave it back to her.

Rather than being grateful and saying thanks, she simply gave him pittance and proceeded to ignore the man, but not before giving him 102 gils as a reward.

"That was... Something." he said in a daze, before he continued to walk around the city again.

Lan Fozi stood at the side of the competition stage with a cold look on her face. She did not head over to the rest area today because she did not wish to meet that boy nor talk to him at all. For some unknown reason, she would lose her temper when she faced that boy despite being mild-mannered. 
'Is he going to win today?'
'He will never win for sure! Hmm, serve him right!'
Lan Fozi was cursing him relentlessly in her heart.
"Achoo!" 
In the rest area, Tang Wulin sneezed. He rubbed his nose and looked helplessly outside. Someone was cursing him! When one's spiritual cultivation base had achieved a certain level, one would be able to sense such matters vaguely. 
Qiangu Zhangting was seated on a sofa that was placed slightly away from Tang Wulin. His eyes were closed to conserve his spirit. Meanwhile, the rest of the contestants were behaving more like the audience. Tang Wulin and Qiangu Zhangting managed to win all eight rounds. This meant that the other contestants no longer had any chance to win. At the end, only one of them would represent group number three to become the Silver Dragon Princess' choice. 
Hence, the remaining contestants were seated further away. They had all sparred against these two on separate occasions, so they were well aware of their incredible power. 
To say that they looked at Qiangu Zhangting with respect would mean that they were in awe of Tang Wulin. After all, the abilities displayed by Tang Wulin were even more violent than Qiangu Zhangting's. 
Today, the Blue Electric Overlord Dragon would collide with the Coiling Dragon Staff. The victor and loser were both equally important. 
There was no telling how the organizer made his decisions. Perhaps, it was because the high-ranking officers who came to watch the battle had limited time, the battle between Tang Wulin and Qiangu Zhangting was scheduled as the first round of the day. The entire Mingdu Coliseum was filled to the brim. Everyone was eagerly anticipating this great battle which was reputed to be the clash of the century. 
Both of them were young and their abilities were incredibly powerful. There was no doubt that they would become the most powerful soul masters on the continent in the near future. One was truly fortunate to bear witness to the battle between the two. It would undoubtedly make for a fortuitous memory. 
"Dear audience, welcome to the Mingdu Coliseum. I believe that the audience have anticipated the following competition for a very long time. That's right. It's going to be the clash of the century. It's the collision between the two strongest powerhouses of group number three. In fact, it's been speculated that the Silver Dragon Princess would most likely choose her man from group number three."
"I believe there is no need for any further introduction on the two powerhouses in today's showdown. Before the competition begins, please allow me to repeat the rules for the Joust For A Spouse Festival."
"As we approach the final round of the round-robin competition, the festival is nearing its end. When all the competitions are over, the top contestant of each group will be among the top ten finalists. The Silver Dragon Princess Miss Gu Yuena will choose one of them to be her lover. At the same time, these ten contestants will be given a chance to pitch themselves before her. They will be allowed to present Miss Gu Yuena with gifts while exhibiting their abilities to capture Miss Gu Yuena's interest."
"The chosen one will undoubtedly be the luckiest man alive. So, let's anticipate the arrival of that moment together. Next, we're about to determine the victor of group number three in the competition which is going to commence immediately. Whether it is the Blue Electric Overlord Dragon who's more skilled or the Coiling Dragon Staff who'll make a clean sweep, let's bear witness to the match. Dear audience and friends, don't blink lest you miss out the details!" 
The commentator was successful in piquing up the audience. The atmosphere was heating up akin to a volcano about to erupt. The cheering and shouting which were as loud as seismic waves went on continuously as the audience chanted the names of the two contestants. 
The lighting inside the Mingdu Coliseum began to dim. It was still morning, but the coliseum used its advanced equipment to block out the sunlight which made the sky dark as night. 
On both sides of the competition stage, two bright columns of light pillars descended from the sky to illuminate the ends of the two passages. Two silhouettes appeared in front of the audience. 
The cheering grew louder reaching a crescendo. 
Tang Wulin stood on the left flank while Qiangu Zhangting was on the right of the competition stage. There was a clear distinction between the two as they stood gazing at one another from a distance. 
Although the competition stage was massive, they could still sense one another's aura. 
Qiangu Zhangting remained dressed in his white combat attire. He appeared to be extremely neat. His eyes were brimming with vigor. He looked majestic like a lofty mountain, simultaneously appearing as deep as the abyss. 
Tang Wulin was no different from his usual appearance. He raised his head ever so slightly whenever he wore Yu Longyue's disguise to maintain his arrogance and confidence. 
"Yu Longyue, Yu Longyue, Yu Longyue…" The cheering was deafening. Although more banners were designated to Qiangu Zhangting, more people were chanting the name 'Yu Longyue'.
The fans from both sides competed against one another. They shouted the names of the contestants whom they supported at the top of their voices. 
"Next, please welcome our two Excellencies to enter the scene."
The light pillars shifted. Tang Wulin and Qiangu Zhangting each ascended the competition stage via the staircases located on both sides of the competition stage. For them, today's competition could possibly be their final battle in this year's Joust For A Spouse Festival. Only one of them would qualify to be the top ten finalists. However, the Silver Dragon Princess Gu Yuena may not necessarily fight against these challengers to test their abilities. 
Hence, it would also be the final opportunity for them to display their abilities. 
Tang Wulin walked onto the competition stage and turned his head to look toward the main platform. Although he could not see her, he sensed her presence there. 
A faint smile emerged on his face soon after. He completely neglected Qiangu Zhangting who was standing opposite him. Instead, he waved in the direction of the main platform. 
At present, the protective shield was activated. The voice of the commentator was isolated to the outside. 
"Wow, everyone look. His Excellency Yu Longyue is waving toward the main platform. Moreover, he is smiling confidently, or should I say that's a mysterious smile. It seems like he's very confident of himself! Would doing this make him appear a little coquettish? Doesn't he know he's making a bad impression of himself for Miss Gu Yuena?" The commentator had revealed the home court advantage at the moment. Apparently, no matter how fair or just a competition was, it would still be biased toward Qiangu Zhangting. 
Gu Yuena had seen Tang Wulin's smile, of course. A mysterious smile? What was he smiling about?
She who had always understood Tang Wulin the most found herself feeling slightly confused as to why Tang Wulin was smiling at the moment. Even though he was in disguise, she felt Tang Wulin's smile came from his heart. 
All at once, Gu Yuena felt a little stunned. It was truly a mysterious smile!
Only Tang Wulin knew the reason for his smile. His confidence came from his feelings for Gu Yuena. It was during an earlier moment when he sensed the Golden Dragon scale around Gu Yuena's neck. It was the reverse scale which was plucked from him when he was in his Blood Golden Dragon state back in the beginning. 
Yes, she had the Golden Dragon scale on her all along. No matter how stubborn and reluctant she was, no matter the fear that existed between them, she had no choice but to admit her feelings for him. That was enough for him. 
It was precisely after all the reminiscing that Tang Wulin's smile widened. What could make him happier than knowing that? His confidence grew to an unprecedented level. 
On the other hand, Qiangu Zhangting standing opposite him had not changed his expression. However, he was on the verge of exploding from rage. 'This boy is always so infuriating. Does he truly think that he will win for sure?'
Qiangu Zhangting scoffed coldly. His voice echoed on the competition stage which could only be heard by Tang Wulin. 
Tang Wulin turned his head around and frowned. "Why are you crying like a ghost?"
Qiangu Zhangting spoke coldly, "It's utterly meaningless to make empty talk. I'll have you know who's qualified to be her man later."
Tang Wulin smiled calmly. "I know because that person will be me precisely. It has always been me, not you."
Qiangu Zhangting laughed coldly. He did not continue to speak. It was apparent that he did not wish to quarrel with Tang Wulin anymore. 
At the moment, the battle was being streamed throughout the entire Douluo Continent via the internet and television channels. In order to boost the popularity of the Joust For A Spouse Festival, the Spirit Pagoda tried to increase its coverage and publicized the broadcast. 
"The competition is about to begin. The two Excellencies, be prepared." The referee's voice was heard. 
With the cultivation bases of Tang Wulin and Qiangu Zhangting, there was no need for any further preparations. Whatever was needed was already done prior to the competition.

"Just send the old boy home, would you!?" The man who had just knocked Emmeline down was yelling at a small group of companions desperately trying their best to drag severely inebriated friend away from the bar.

"I'm terribly sorry about that." The man quickly offered a hand to help Emmeline up from the floor. "Are you alright, Miss?"

"Please don't worry about it, Sir." She accepted his help without any malice. "I'm sure it was just an accident, after all."

As she rose, the man's eyes fell to the skirt of her dress , then glanced at the glass in his other hand that was now empty.

"Oh no! Your dress..."

Looking down, Emmeline's eyes fixed themselves on a dark wet splotch that tainted the pale champagne satin.

"Oh dear..." There was little possibility of her continuing the evening in the tainted gown as is. Something would definitely need to be done about it. "Please don't worry about this. It wasn't really any fault of yours..."

"No, no!" he insisted. "It was my fault for letting that friend of mine get so drunk! I feel obliged  to do what I can to help you...Also, I think I might know a quick solution to this. Wait here, I'll be back in a moment!"

Not wanting to put his good intentions to waste, Emmeline did as told and stayed near the bar. She did take a brief look at the cocktail menu, however, she found it far too difficult to decipher the meanings of terms such as 'highball', 'sweet', 'dry', and many others. Conceding defeat, she found a seat in the corner to continue waiting.

A few minutes later, the man returned holding a peculiar metal contraption in his hand.

"...What is that?" Emmeline asked cautiously.

"There's no need for alarm, Miss. This is an electric hair dryer."

"Electric hair dryer?"

"It works in a similar way to a fan in that it blows air out, however, it heats the air as it passes through the device. It should be able to dry out that patch on your dress in no time! That if I can find an electrical outlet somewhere..." 

As he looked around the nearby walls, a realisation came to Emmeline's mind.

"I'm sorry, I know it's rather late for this but I don't believe we've ever been introduced. I am Emmeline Howard."

"Oh yes...OH GOD, you're right!" He jumped up, turning back towards her direction. "Edward Temby. It's a pleasure to be acquainted with you, Miss Howard, even if I've thus far botched almost all etiquette in your presence..." Mr Temby went through the open doors into the neighbouring room that was more or less empty compared to the rest of the party's venue to continue searching and Emmeline followed.

For some reason, the name seemed familiar to her, but then again, so did many other names she had hear that evening. "Don't worry, Mr Temby. Your secret is safe with me. The world will still think of you as a fine gentleman!"

"Are you always this cheery? Most girls - well, ladies your age - would most likely be crying over an incident like this...ah, found one!"

Mr Temby plugged the cable into the plug across from the door and signalled for Emmeline to take a seat in the nearby chaise. 

"I'm told that these contraptions are rather noisy so please don't be too frightened when I turn it on..."

The 'hair dryer' would indeed be considered loud in an environment other than a busy event like the one they had slipped away from, however, it wasn't really much louder than the chatter and music they were still able to hear from the main hall. As he had said, it really did chase the spill away like magic in only a couple of minutes.

"Wow, it worked even better that I thought it would!" Mr Temby seemed even more surprised by the results that Emmeline herself. "Perhaps I should get one of these myself. Or maybe I could commission the creation of a more portable version..."

"I suppose we're just lucky your drink was clear."

"Well, it was close enough. The French 75 is mostly champagne. But I am glad you'll be able to continue wearing such a beautiful dress this evening. I doubt there'd be even a close replacement available..." Mr Temby unplugged the 'hair dryer' and made his way back  to the more lively section of the gathering.

As Emmeline followed, it was only then that Emmeline had remembered the gossip from earlier in the evening.
"Mr Temby, forgive me if I'm wrong, but would you happen to be the aspiring doctor or new opera owner?"

Mr Temby laughed. "Is that what the gossip is saying? I suppose it is easy to get me mixed up with Teddy. I am Edward George Temby. Lord Temby is my uncle and Edward Peter Temby is my older cousin. He's the one who's been sent up to Edinburgh to study medicine. Also, it wasn't an opera house. The London Coliseum is currently a theatre. To be more accurate, a Swiss friend of mine happens to be desperate to have his own opera and begged me to be his business partner. But to answer your question directly, I suppose I am the latter."

"How on earth did that come about? Deciding to just buy the Coliseum?"
 
The two continued conversing about this and that as they walked until Emmeline sudden heard her name being called.

Taylor died pitifully at the hands of her own husband without any justice.

"Si June na naman ang kinakain ng utak mo 'no?" tanong ng manager sa alaga nito. "Puwede ba, isipin mo na lang kung paano kagatin 'yang ulam at kanin na nasa plato mo. Kanina pa'ng titig mo sa pagkain, wala ka bang planong kagatin manlang 'yan? Paano ka mabubusog niyan kung--" naputol bigla ang sinasabi ni Peter nang magsalita si Paige. "Puwede ba'ng magpatawag ulit ng presscon, as in now na." sabi ni Paige sa manager nito. Nagulat naman si Peter sa sinabi ng alaga nito.

Pumasok ng bahay sina June at Ricky kasama si Warren. Si Kitty naman ay naiwan at napatulog na naman sa sasakyan ni June. "Sigurado ka ba kuya na ayaw mo ng manatili sa hospital? Baka kailangan pa ng braso mo ng--" naputol bigla ang sinasabi ni June sa kuya nito nang sumagot agad si Ricky, "Ano ba June, okay na 'ko, galos lang 'to, at ayaw ko ng mag-stay sa hospital dahil baka bumisita pa ang bestfriend mo'ng mamahayag. Natatakot na 'ko sa kanya." Sagot ng manager ni Sparkle. "Sa bagay..." sambit ni June. Nakita ng sheriff na naiwan ang make-up artist sa BMW at natutulog. "Wala ba kayong planong gisingin ang pusa niyo?" tanong ni Warren sa magkapatid sabay turo kay Kitty. "Hayaan mo na 'yan diyan, alam mo naman mga pusa mahilig matulog." Sagot ni Ricky na may bandage pa rin ang kanang braso. "Gigising rin 'yan mga ilang oras." Sagot ni June sa dating nobyo. "Oh sige, uwi na ko, just call me if you need any help, take good care of yourself." Sabi ni Warren kay June. Napangiti naman si Sparkle. "Ehem!" sambit ni Ricky, "ako po pala 'yong nabaril." Dugtong pa ng kuya ni June. Napangiti lalo si June sa sinabi ng kapatid at pati na rin ang pulis. "Sige ikaw din Ricky, take care." Sabi ni Warren. "Bye." Sabi ng sheriff sa dating nobya. "Bye" tugon din ni Sparkle sa dating nobyo. At umalis na nga ang sheriff, sumakay ng sasakyan nito at bumyahe pauwi. Napansin ni Ricky na abot tenga ang ngiti ng kapatid habang nakatitig sa dating nobyo. "Nene," sabi ni Ricky kay June, "kinikilig ka na, mukhang in love ka ulit sa ex mo!" dugtong pa ng kuya ni Sparkle. "Ewan ko ba," sabi ni June, "kahit ngayon nagtataka pa rin ako kung bakit hiniwalayan niya 'ko." Dugtong pa ni Sparkle. Lumabas bigla si Kitty ng sasakyan at tumakbo papunta sa magkapatid. "Oh! Gumising ka pa?" tanong ni Ricky kay Kitty. "Nag-text sa akin si Sam! Check daw natin ang news!" sagot ng make-up artist.

Binuksan ni June ang TV... Lumabas bigla sa TV screen si Paige. Nagpatawag ulit ng presscon si Dazzle. Nagulat si Ricky at si Kitty lalong lalo na si June. "Wow! In a hurry? Presscon ulit?" sabi ni Ricky.

"So, Paige hindi mo na idedemanda si June?" tanong ng isang anchorman. Nagulat sina June, Ricky, at Kitty sa narinig. "Bakit Dazzle?" tanong ng isang babaeng newscaster. Napatitig si Paige sa camera na nakatutok sa kanyang harapan. "Naisipan ko na, may point si June." Sabi ni Paige. "Takot niya lang." sabi ni Kitty. "Totoo nga'ng, we used to call each other as 'gaga' before. Sorry talaga kung nasaktan ko man siya. At ngayon ay may gusto ng pumatay sa kanya dahil sa pelikulang sinulat ko para sa kanya. I guess I just have to win the award, the best actress award next week, for me to loose the sadness. Tingnan lang natin kung sino sa amin ang mananalo, kung sino sa aming mga, gaga... ang mananalo... Thank you." Dugtong pa ni Paige at sabay na umalis ng stage at iniwan ang press.

Pinatay ni Kitty ang TV. "Kapal ng texture ng mukha ng babaeng 'yon!" galit na sabi ni Ricky, "I promise sis, ikaw ang mananalo." Dugtong pa ng kapatid ni June. "Hanggang sa writing and supporting lang si Paige, June, don't worry." Sabi pa ni Kitty. Hindi naman makapag salita si Sparkle. Nagulat siya sa sinabi ni Dazzle.

Kinaumagahan, busy lahat dahil sa awarding next week at sa Miyerkules na. Linggo pa naman ngayon at kulang na ang lahat sa oras. Nagpatahi na ang mga bituin sa mga sikat na mga mananahi nila para sa mga susuotin nilang gown sa award's night.

Si Van ay nakasuot ng gray na cocktail gown. Kumindat naman ang sheriff sa dating nobya at napangiti ng binata ang dalaga. Umupo na ang lahat at nagsimula na ang awarding.

Sa kahabaan, natatagalan na ang lahat. Tanging best actress lang din naman ang inaantay ng mga tao. Mas una pa ang awarding ng best director at best picture sa best actress category.

At dumating na ang inaantay ng lahat, ang awarding for best actress. Ibinigay na sa binatang host ang envelope kung saan nakalagay ang winner. "Ako, please, ako... please... ako... please..." sabi ni Paige sa sarili. Nang tinawag ng host ang winner, nagulat si Paige dahil si June na naman ang nanalo. Kahit ang nanalo ay nagulat din mismo. Pumalakpak lahat ulit kay Sparkle. Tumitig si June kay Paige. Umakyat ng entablado si Sparkle na nalulungkot ang hitsura kahit nakangiti. Nadismaya na naman si Paige at medyo galit. Sa isip ni Paige ay kung bakit ang dating kaibigan ang parating nananalo. Si Warren ay panay ang palakpak ganoon din si Ricky, Kitty at Sam.

Ngunit malungkot ang mukha ni Van habang tinititigan ang dalawang bestfriend. "Let's go." Sabi ni Van sa cameraman nito. Tumayo sina Van at Garry sa kinauupuan nila at lumabas ng coliseum.

Masayang masaya ang pulis sa pagkapanalo ulit ng dating nobya. "Very happy ang iba dito." Sabi ng panay ang tawa na si Ricky at tinuturo ang sheriff. "Dapat lang," sabi ni Sam, "for sure abot langit ang kasiyahan niyan ngayon." Dugtong pa ng presidente ng "Sammy'. "Tayo masaya iba 'ata hindi." Sabi ni Kitty sabay turo si Paige. Napaluha si Dazzle pagkadinig niya ng sinabi ni June. Tumayo si Dazzle sa kinauupuan niya at lumakad palabas ng coliseum. Hinabol ni Peter ang alaga nito. Nagulat lahat ng tao sa loob ng coliseum kay Paige lalo na si June. "Thank you for the award." Dugtong pa ni Sparkle at agad itong bumaba ng stage. Pinuntahan ni June ang mga kasama, dala-dala ang tropeyo. "Nagalit si Paige?" tanong ni June sa mga kasama. "Hayaan mo na 'yon," Sabi ni Kitty. "basta ikaw ang nanalo, nene! Kakaloka ka!" dugtong pa ng make-up artist. Siniko naman ni Sam si Kitty at tumitig ng masakit si Ricky sa make-up artist. Ibang media men at women ay hinabol si Paige palabas ng coliseum. Binilisan nina Peter at Paige ang pagtakbo at agad na pumasok sa sasakyan nila, bumyahe ng mabilisan ang kanilang BMW pauwi ng bahay ni Dazzle. Hindi naman naabutan ng media ang hinahabol nilang natalo na si Paige. Nagkamot na naman ng ulo ang press. Ilang segundo lang, lumabas na din ng stadium si June, Ricky, Warren, Sam, Kitty at ang photographer. Tumakbo agad ang press kay June. Hinaharanagan lang ni Warren at ng personal photographer ng 'Sammy' itong si June para di ito masaktan sa tulakan ng media. Patuloy sa tanong ang media kahit di na maintindihan dahil naghalu-halo na ang mga katanungan mula sa kanilang bunganga at naiingayan na si June. Nang mabangga ng isang babaeng reporter ang nabaril na braso ni Ricky, napasigaw ang kuya ni June sa sakit. "Rosa! Mag-ingat ka nga!" sigaw ng mga newscaster sa reporter na nakabangga ng braso ni Ricky. Nagulat si June at nag-alala na sa kapatid. Sumigaw bigla si Sparkle ng matagalan at tumagal ng walong segundo. Napatakip ang iba ng tenga sa ingay ng sigaw ni June. Nang tumigil na ang ingay mula sa sigaw ng nanalong aktres, tumahimik bigla. Kinuha ni June ang microphone ng sumikong journalist sa braso ng kapatid at nagsabi ng, "No Comment." Wala namang magawa ang press kundi tumahimik. Pumasok sina June, Kitty, at Ricky sa sasakyan ni Sparkle. Pumasok din ang sheriff sa sasakyan nito at ganoon din si Sam at ang photographer. Bumyahe pauwi ang magkakaibigan at naiwan ang press na nakatunganga.

Matapos ang awarding, umuwi sina June, Ricky, Kitty kasama si Sam at ang photographer hindi para matulog, kundi mag-party. Suot-suot pa rin nila ang mga gown nila at mga tuxedo. Pumapalakpak lahat sa galing ng nabaril na si Ricky. Napakagaling ng manager ni Sparkle sa pag-awit. Kahit lasing na si Ricky ay manage niya pa rin ang tono ng kanta na "Killing Me Softly." Patuloy sa pag-awit si Ricky habang si Kitty ay hinahawakan na ang mga braso ng photographer. Ang kanang kamay ni Kitty ay nakapatong na sa balikat ng photographer habang ang kaliwang kamay ay may hawak na bote ng rhum. Lasing na rin sina Kitty at ang photographer. Sumasabay at sumsayaw sila sa kanta ni Ricky. Nagtitigan sina June at Warren dahil sa ganda ng kanta. Parang bumalik ulit ang nakaraang magkasintahan pa sila. Biglang tumunog ang cellphone ng pulis. May tumatawag sa sheriff. Pinabalik na ang chief officer sa police station. "Guys, I have to go. May trabaho pa 'ko. Pinapabalik na 'ko sa station." Sabi ni Warren sa mga kaibigan nito at nakatitig kay June. "Hindi ba pupuwedeng, mamaya lang muna?" tanong ni June sa dating nobyo. "'Sensiya, I have to take this. Job ko 'to kasi..." sabi ni Warren sa ex nito. "It's fine." Sabi ni June sa pulis sabay ngiti. Lumapit ang sheriff at hinalikan ang kanang pisngi ng dating nobya. Napatawa si Kitty sa sagot ng binata. "Ano ba, 'yong totoo." Sabi ni Kitty. "Really, my name is James Bond," sagot ng photographer, "I'm not joking, kilala mo si Nenito Banderas di ba? Ang president ng Gem Cinema? Lolo ko siya. My real name's James Banderas." Dugtong pa ng binata. Nagulat si Kitty, bakit sa pananamit, at trabaho, mukhang hindi Banderas ang kasayaw niya. "Ba't sa clothing at sa tindig mo mukhang hindi ka Banderas?" tanong ni Kitty sa kasayaw. "Kasi, ayokong makilala sa buong mundo na isa akong Banderas," sabi pa ng photographer, "sabi ko pa nga kay lolo, ayokong maging pabigat, so I will just humble myself, live with my own feet." Sagot ni James. Kinilig si Kitty. Naka-chamba siya yata ng inibig. Isa palang patagong mayamang photographer ang kasayaw ng make-up artist. Naisipan ni Kitty na hatakin ang binata paakyat ng hagdan. "Saaan tayo pupunta?" tanong ng photographer. "Arte ka pa diyan. Alam mo na 'yan." Sagot ni Kitty. Umakyat ng hagdan ang ang make-up artist at ang photographer habang si June ay enjoy sa pag-video sa kapatid at ang presidente ng clothing line ay panay din ang sayaw at lasing na lasing na din.

Ang naghahalikan na sina Kitty at James lamang pala ang bumukas ng banyo. Kahit silang dalawa ay nagulat din sa newscaster pagbukas nila ng pintuan ng banyo. "Anong ginagawa mo sa banyo?" tanong ni James sa reporter. "Ng bahay ni June?" dinugtungan pa ni Kitty ang tanong ng photographer.

Di na alam ni Garry kung ano na ang kanyang gagawin dahil naputol bigla ang kausap niyang reporter sa kabilang linya. Naisipan niyang lumabas ng banyo. "Total wala namang tao." Sabi pa ni Garry sa sarili. Pagbukas niya ng pintuan ng banyo, isang hampas ang silver tray, sa mukha at noo, ang nagpahimatay sa cameraman. Sina Peter at Paige pala ang humampas ng tray sa binata. "Anong walang tao? Kanina pa kami dito sa labas banyo." Sabi ni Dazzle. Napatawa bigla si Peter sa sinabi ng alaga. "Tawa ka pa diyan, 'kala ko ba iihi ka?" tanong ni Paige sa manger nito. "Oo nga eh, ito kasi..." sabi ni Peter sabay sipa sa binti ng nahimatay na si Garry at agad itong pumasok ng banyo.

Sa salas, katatapos lang ni June i-save ang video ng kapatid sa kanyang USB. Masayang masaya si June dahil gulat na gulat siya sa galing ng kapatid sa pag-awit. "Surprising ka my dear brother! Galing mo palang kumanta!" sabi ni June sa kuya nito. "I know right, marami pa 'kong surprises sa susunod sis, antay ka lang." sabi ni Ricky at nagngitian ang magkapatid. Nakita nila kanina na umakyat ng hagdan ay ang make-up artist at ang photographer lamang at hindi nila kasamang pumasok ng bahay si Van. Tinutulak nina Kitty at James ang reporter papalapit kay June. Naiinis na si Van sa kakatulak nina Kitty at James sa kanya. "Ano ba! Ba't ba kayo tulak ng tulak?!" inis na tanong ni Van sa make-up artist at sa photographer. Nagtataka sina Ricky, Sam at lalo na si June kung papaano nakapasok ng bahay niya si Van. "Tingnan mo June kung sino ang nakita namin sa loob ng banyo." Sabi ni Kitty kay June. "At anong ginagawa ninyo sa banyo?" tanong bigla ni Ricky kay Kitty. Nagtitigan bigla ang mak-up artist at ang photographer. Nahiya bigla sa isa't isa at nag-ngitian. Nagalit bigla si Ricky kay Kitty. "Ikaw bigaon ka gid! Kung mag-busong ka indi mo pagpa-bantay sa 'kon ang bata mo ha!" galit na sabi ni ni Ricky sa make-up artist. Napatawa si James at Kitty sa sinabi ni Ricky dahil ang pangungusap niya ay puro Hiligaynon. "Ano daw June?" tanong ni Kitty sa amo. "Alpot ka kuno." Sagot agad ni June na may seryosong mukha. Napayuko si Kitty dahil alam niya ang meaning ng salitang 'alpot' na ibig sabihin ay 'prostitute'. "Sorry na. Hindi naman namin naipagpatuloy ang intercoursing namin dahil kay Van." "Talaga?" tanong ng mamahayag sa aktres. "Talaga." Sagot din agad ni Sparkle. Biglang nagkaroon ng mahabang katahimikan. Mukhang nagdududa na lahat, na baka si Van si Starkiller. "Hey guys! You're overacting! Hindi ako si Starkiller!" sabi ng mamahayag sa mga kaibigan nito sa natatawa pa. Ngunit binigyan nina Kitty, Ricky, Sam, James at ni June si Van ng seryosong mga mukha.
