In a world of magic, monsters, and overpowered protagonists. Our hero was the 'side-kick', the 'friend', the 'other guy'. Betrayed by the Hero he'd sworn to help and wound up banished from death as a result. 
This is the story of how an un-killable side-kick rose to the apex and finally became the Hero.

Dust Ball started transporting materials into the Extradimensional Belly to transform it into a supercat haven and catmint farm.
Zhao Yao arrived at Arthas and Diana's room and saw Arthas, Diana, Rice Cake, and Gaia lying down in the cat dwellings. They were wearing game visors on their heads and they looked like they were playing the computer game Closers World.
Zhao Yao thought, "Are all of them playing computer games in the name of research?"
Zhao Yao nudged both of them to wake them up.
Arthas yawned as he said, "Zhao Yao, why are you here?"
Zhao Yao said glumly, "I'm checking how your research is progressing. How's it going? Did you uncover the workings of the online game?"
Arthas' eyes lit up when Zhao Yao mentioned the online game. "This game is very addictive! There are two major camps, various ways to play, dramatic events and interesting creatures…"
Zhao Yao became more and more sour and Arthas immediately replied, "Er… I researched the game and it was as expected. It's an Awareness World built in the Awareness Dimension."
"In the Awareness Dimension?" Zhao Yao said. "Didn't you mention that in the Awareness Dimension, there's no concept of space and time like in the material realm? Instead, it's a chaotic and random dimension that connects the dreamscapes of all life? How could there be a stable game world in such an environment?"
"This is where it's awesome!" Diana explained. "The Closers World is a dreamscape and it's more sturdy than normal dreamscapes. It can exist for a long time and the scenes are fixed in stone. They are unaffected by the changes in the players' awarenesses…"
Diana scratched her head as though she was confused and said, "If the Awareness Dimension is a restless ocean, then everyone's dreamscapes are like sandcastles on the beach that can collapse for any reason.
But in Closers World, the castles are as sturdy as steel fortress."
Arthas nodded his head and said agreeably, "The dreamscape that I created in the Beverly Hills was like a sand pit as compared to the Closers World's luxurious automated cat toilet."
Diana said, "Closers World is able to exist independently in the Awareness Dimension and resist violent drifts of awareness. It is invulnerable against our superpower attacks."
"That powerful?" Zhao Yao frowned and thought. "Isn't it closely related to dreamscapes and awarenesses? With Diana's current level, she's unable to fight against the alien cats. I'll let Diana level up."
Arthas shared another discovery while researching Closers World.
"I might have found the reason behind Closers World's existence." Arthas said, "Based on my senses, I can feel the game players supplying energy to Closers World."
Zhao Yao was surprised and said, "I didn't know such stuff was possible."
"Yes, all living things expend mental energy during our daily activities. When we sleep, our mental energy and body are replenished." Arthas said, "I can sense that we are spending our mental energy when we are playing in the Closers World."
"All our emotions like joy, anger, sadness,excitement, and thought processes expend our mental energy which is absorbed by Closers World."
Zhao Yao asked, "Are you able to guess the use for the mental energy?"
"I suppose a portion of the energy is used to maintain Closers World," Arthas said. "I don't know about the rest. This is the first time I have encountered the absorbing of people's mental energy. I can sense the phenomenon but I can't figure out how they do it."
Zhao Yao nodded grimly. The situation was worse than he thought. He could not figure out what the alien cats were up to and he did not have the power to defeat them in a direct confrontation.
He was even killed by them in the Awareness Dimension.
"I'll level up Diana and let her go through evolution to see if she can fight against the alien cats."
Zhao Yao looked at BOOK's panel as he awarded tens of thousands of experience points to Diana and upgraded her to Level 10.
Diana was now Level 10 (0/0).
It seemed Level 10 was the maximum for a supercat.
"Is evolution required after attaining Level 10? I'll upgrade Diana's skills first."
Zhao Yao looked at the skill tree of Level 8 and Level 9 and picked four skills that used up two skill points and expanded the radius of the sleep superpower to 100 kilometers.
The probability of the subconscious' content being woven into the dreamscape was 20%.
One second in the dreamscape was equivalent to 14 hours in the material realm.
Zhao Yao looked at Diana's Level 10 skills with great anticipation.
Dream Demon's Constitution: You can change the state of your body and enter a dreamscape while expending your mental energy.
Nightmare's Breath: You possess mastery of dreamweaving and excellent understanding of human nature. You are able to use this skill once in a dreamscape to deal massive mental energy damage to your target.
Zhao Yao sighed. These two level 10 were extremely powerful but they were still not related to the Awareness Dimension's energy.
He used up one skill point for Diana to learn Dream Demon's Constitution and Nightmare's breath. There were five remaining skill points after he collected the Meteorite Fragments.
Zhao Yao accessed BOOK's evolution module and selected Diana for evolution.
He saw the evolution option: Awareness Dimension Evolution.
Zhao Yao thought, "Evolution option? There's only one evolution option? I'm not sure if I'm exposed to the Awareness Dimension or only Diana's allowed this evolution option. I guess it's my limitation as BOOK provided my superpowers. I experienced the Awareness Dimension's energy so I'm allowed to choose it."
This was what Zhao Yao wanted to master. He immediately selected Awareness Dimension evolution and a progress bar appeared, showing 0%.
Zhao Yao read the words under the progress bar and thought, "I need to accumulate the Awareness Dimension's energy to complete the evolution?"


"Let go of that kitty cat!"

A shooting star whizzed through the sky, causing countless super powers to appear on Earth.

However, the main characters that awaken during this phenomenon aren't humans, but cats...

During this event, this same thought appeared in the minds of countless cats: "Am I a god?"

Zhao Yao, an ordinary human, is the only person that can control these super cats.

TL's Intro：

Zhao Yao, the protagonist of the story, is the most ordinary man you could possibly imagine. Since graduating from college, he had been engulfed by his bureaucratic workplace and its toxic environment. To make things worse, he has neither a car, money nor a girlfriend. The only silver lining was his fat and lazy cat, Matcha, which provided a semblance of company and friendship.

However, things were about to change drastically for Zhao Yao and Matcha. One shooting star will transform their lives into anything but ordinary.

Arthas stood atop the city near the lonely mountain, he mounted a horse. Gandalf had gone in to meet with Bard and the elven king but he didn't find interest in meeting them. He was more interested in the surrounding environment, he knew a great battle would come soon enough.
The Eagle had left him so he had to ride a horse with the old wizard to reach here. Thankfully, they got there on time. He slowly made his way down and towards the mountain. obviously, seeking to meet Thorin.
"Arthas!" A voice interrupted him as he turned around to see Gandalf, the old man was obviously annoyed and angry. "Gandalf, what happened? Did they listen?"
The old wizard snorted, "What can't greed make one do?! My council has become less worth people's time. At the very least, We now have a bargaining chip; Thanks to Bilbo.". 
Arthas laughed and pat the old man on the back as he dismounted his horse, "Well, At least not all is lost. look at the bright side!". "I suppose you are right. We now have to prevent the war." Said Gandalf with exasperation.
"I will meet with Thorin, It will work out. Your old bones might not be able to take more, calm down." Arthas said in a friendly tone. "I am Not that old yet!" He ignored the grey wizard as he saw the army of elves beginning to march towards the mountain. "I told you, you should have come!" Gandalf was still saying.
"It wouldn't have made a difference; I had heard of Thranduil's character when I was in Lorien. He won't easily back down." His tone was serious. 
Arthas mounted his horse and decided to follow the army. Gandalf saw him go and sighed, he too moved towards the mountain. 
Arthas came down from his horse and walked as the elves made way for him; He tried to not get Bard's attention because he wanted to be low-key(bard had seen him.). Also, he knew from some of his friends in Lorien that he had gained quite a reputation amongst their kind(elves). 
The reason for their presence was simple, The Dragon Smaug was dead and the people of lake town wanted a share of their gold, according to the bargain they had struck with Thorin before. Thranduil wanted the Gems of Lasgalen for unknown reasons, he also had a share of the treasures in the mountain. They both brought armies to collect their debt.
He(Arthas) stood on the sidelines as the Army stopped in front of the sealed gate. Thorin fired an arrow in front of Thranduil's mount as a warning. "I'll put the next one between your eyes." Warned Thorin as he took another arrow and put it in his bow, ready to fire. No one paid Arthas any attention. 
The elven army's archers aim their arrows at the Dwarfs, ready to rain down death upon them. Thranduil stopped them and the negotiations began. They failed as Thorin chose WAR.
A while later and an Army of Dwarfs appeared. Arthas looked at everything with a frown, 'Is there really such a bizarre illness? It is as if he(Thorin) has been possessed!'.
The Ironfoot army approached, Dáin came down. As the timeline would have gone, The elves took aim. And war erupted. 
As the rain of elven arrows and the Ironfoot's strange spinning weapons hit each other mid-air. A blinding light flashed and a figure crashed in the middle of the would-be battlefield. Both ranged attacks were decimated in the figures landing. 
"Stop! The Real Enemy is coming! We don't have time to fight each other!" A mighty shout was heard by both sides. Dain and his Dwarven army stopped as did the elves. 
Arthas stood in the middle of two armies with his golden wings manifested. He turned to look at Thranduil. "King Thranduil, I had heard of your name in Lorien. I hope you stand down for a few moments. I am Caladcyll, student of Galadriel!"
Thranduil hesitated for a moment and backed down, he had heard of this man. He was the slayer of Smaug and a worthy opponent. He also had a high status in Lorien despite being a human and was highly regarded by Lady Galadriel. He did not want to antagonize him.
Dain and his army had stopped due to shock for they had not seen such a thing in their life; But, soon they regained their bearings. Dain shouted, "And why should we?! Anyone who stands between me and my people is my enemy! Move away lad!". 
Arthas merely raised Frostmourne, The Dwarfs tensed. He then pointed at the side with his sword, everyone became confused as suddenly Were-worms erupted from the ground. They all realized that orcs would soon come.
An army of Orcs let out battle cries as they emerged from the holes and marched towards them. Dain immediately led the Ironfoot to battle the orc army. The elves joined them soon after. Arthas smiled, 'Frostmourne, it is time to feed!'. Said Sword shone sinisterly...

"Arthur come here"(Amelia M.) "I'm going mom" replied Arthur, 'today is finally where I get my Job' he thought as he headed for the room where his family had gathered. When you arrive you can not help but smile at the sight of your new family who loves him very much.
"Here boy turn your back on me, we'll start the ritual now" said Arthas (Arthur father), Arthur did as he was told, suddenly his vision darkened. Outside all your family could see is that when Arthas touched Arthur to initiate the ritual an ancient azure light emanated from Arthur emanating to the heavens.

Inside Arthur's head he reviewed all his past life, although it didn't seem like Arthur was a big fan of anime, novel and manga. With that Arthur noticed one thing that even if he tried hard he couldn't forget what he saw. 'This can only mean one thing ... I have gained eidetic memory.' Thought Arthur.

He had the opportunity to review everything he did and felt and learned in his past life. 'With this knowledge, I can really become one of those badass isekai protagonists, rubber making here we go.'

"Dad, what's up with Arthur?" Asked Sandra, "Don't worry it seems your brother has received recognition from the old codon" replied Arthas reassuring his daughter. 

The Old Code is what the people of Terraria call the laws that govern their planet. He is as old as civilization, he who allows you to get skill from the work piece. Even gods are said to fear The Old Code.

Arthur is a simple teenager with 16 years, and he's what you call a 'bot person', he isn't popular or good-looking either. His parents died when he is 12 leaving him, coincidentally, enough money to live until he turns 18, unfortunately not in such a good area, where he lives cops and thugs work together. In school, he doesn't have many friends and the ones who he calls friends is not so close to him. And so lives Arthur a bot person, but everything changed when the fir... (cough), when he was on his way to school he is approached by a thief...

This's my first novel (Probably last either) and English isn't my first language. I'm not an experienced writer or anything, just a reader who wants to pass the time, so be warned I'll pick up a lot of ideas and concepts from other novels including 'Living in this World with Cut & Paste', 'From Fish to Dragon', 'Release that Witch' and others, basically everything I've ever read. A week have passed since the destruction of the sunwell,
Only the scent of death lingers in the land,
The elves scattered, and one by one they fell to the blight.

Their land tarnished, never the same again,
a corrupted road was engraved in their lands,
reminding them of the destruction it brought,
they call it The Dead scar.

A scar that will forever haunt them,
losing their hope,
Who will save them?

Outside a Cabin, 

A young man can be seen swinging his sword,
he was half naked, showing off his muscular torso,
the young man, was haji whom had been training for a week.

"This damn System and its daily quest" He complained with sweat all over his face.

sensing that someone was watching him, he looked at the source and saw Sylvanas looking through the windows, he smiled and walked towards the house.

as soon as he entered the house, he heard her speak "Haji, we must leave this place"

during their stay together, they both grew fond of each other no matter the race barrier especially when Haji saved Sylvanas from Arthas.

"Why? This place is safer than other areas right now" He said with a tint of fear in his voice, he was just a normal human transported in this whirlpool of hell, and saying that he isn't scared of those vile looking undead is an overstatement.

She looked at him in the eye "I can feel it, they are coming"

He was about to reply when she interrupted 

"The only way we could survive is if we gather more men to fend off those blasted army"

As if hit by sudden realization, he walked towards her and held her hand "Alright, I trust you"

Arthas stood in front of this majestic magical city, dalaran, home of the kirin tor.

Behind him stood his army, the scourge.

He shouted "Wizards of the Kirin Tor! I am Arthas, first of the Lich King's death knights! I demand that you open your gates and surrender to the might of the Scourge!"
His words echoed throughout the City.

An old man suddenly showed up at the City walls " Greetings, Prince Arthas. How fares your noble father?" giving greetings to Arthas.

Staring at the old man "Lord Antonidas. There's no need to be snide." He replied Coldly.

"We've prepared for your coming, Arthas. My brethren and I have erected auras that will destroy any undead that pass through them!" The old Man known as Antonidas said with undying confidence.

"Your petty magics will not stop me, Antonidas." He too was Confident.

"Pull your troops back, or we will be forced to unleash our full powers against you! Make your choice, death knight. " Antonidas stated before teleporting away from the walls,

Arthas did not heed his words and before he march straight to dalaran, Kel'thuzad advised " I sense that three separate wizards are maintaining these auras. If you find and kill them, the auras will disperse." 

He quickly aimed his sword on the city.

"Charge!" As soon as he shouted, Countless undead charged towards the city, while their meat wagons brought forth destruction of the city gate.

As soon as he stepped in the city, he sensed an aura which weakened him and his army, seeing how dangerous it will be if left unattended, Arthas quickly rushed forward with his knights towards the first wizard maintaining the aura.

"Die Wizard!" After a futile struggle of the wizard, Arthas stood victorious and with a sweep of his sword, the wizard died.

As they marched further In the City, Arthas And his troops encountered the base of the mage's guild, the men of the guild fought valiantly but against the endless army of the dead, their struggle proved to be futile.

The second wizard was again, cut down by Frostmourne.

Afterwards the marching undead was forced back by the defending force of the Sorcerer's league, but as time passed, the undead broke through their defenses, leaving them dying to the blade of the scourge.

Arthas then reached a crossroad, to the north lies the archmage, Antonidas, while to the west is the base of the kirin tor.

Arthas took half of his army consisting of his best soldiers and strode along towards Antonidas, while he ordered the other half to destroy the Kirin tor's base.

Arthas and his scourge engaged those who are defending the archmage, and after a fierce battle they stood victorious.

with Kel'thuzad and Tichondrius in tow, they entered the vault where Antodinas lies,

Arthas and Antonidas fought and after successfully Wounding antonidas, Arthas stopped.

"It pains me to even look at you, Arthas." The badly wounded antonidas said as his last words.

" I'll be happy to end your torment old man. I told you that your magics could not stop me." Arthas Slashed his sword Killing Antonidas.

After that, Arthas took the SpellBook of medivh,

he stood outside the vault, watching the destruction his army brought towards this once magnificent city.

"The spellbook is all yours, lich. Let's take it and leave before the wizards amass for their final attack."

"Indeed. I will begin summoning Lord Archimonde at sunset."

Arthas and his Army retreated back Into his Base where they plan to Summon Archimonde.

Outskirts Of dalaran,

"Tremble Mortals and despair!" The demon Bellowed,  "Doom has come to this world!"
with just one glare, The wizards fled at the sight of the defiler.

The demon congratulated The lich that summoned him,
A Dreadlord appeared and welcomed his master.
The defiler was amused.

The defiler's first act was to relieve the lich king of command and turn the scourge over to the
Dreadlords.

The Dreadlord was Pleased hearing the defiler's command,  the defiler then declared that before he launched the Legion's invasion, he would make an example of the wizards by obliterating the city of Dalaran.

The demons then headed off, Leaving Arthas and the Lich behind.

Arthas was outraged over this turn of events.  "What happens to us now?!" He asked.

The lich told him to be patient, as the lich King had foreseen all this and had more plans for arthas.

A demon can be seen Drawing a magic symbol on the ground.
"Let this scar signify the first blow against the mortal world... From this seal shall arise the doom of men... who, in their arrogance thought to wield out fire as their own... Blindly they built their kingdoms upon stolen knowledge and conceit... Now they shall be consumed by very flame they thought to control..." The demon known as Archimonde took a handful of sand And spilled some of it.
A Sand figure of dalaran appeared and then archimonde destroyed the violet citadel in the sand figurine, there as he looked at the city, the real violet citadel crumbled.

Finally, He smashed the whole Sand figurine of dalaran, turning Dalaran into ruins.

Once a majestic kingdom of mages, led by a wise mage.
And yet it was brought to destruction by a once glorious prince.

A young man with not so amazing talent and a tragic past in earth was transported to Lordaeron in Azeroth.

With knowledge of the game from his previous world, will this young man be the savior of Lordaeron and unify the land or will he be like the betrayer Arthas and cause its second downfall.

As he continued through the camp he noticed a tall man upon a white stallion moved into his path, adorned in ridiculous, foppish armor, his neck strung with unnecessary forms of wealth and laces.

"Greetings, Uther of Northshire, I am Georges Penwright, Field Marshal of the First Army," the golden emblazoned general said with a tone of arrogance, but respect, as he introduced himself, blazing red hair almost outshining his own armor in the rays of light. 

"This is my second, Lord General Anduin Praeton" he then said, pointing to a much more properly dressed man, whose front carried the Golden Lion of Azeroth emblazoned in his tabard.

"Greetings General. I see the unreadiness of this army and am truly worried. I have read that you yourself fought in the campaign at Darrowmere Lake and distinguished yourself there in 602. Tell me, what is it that ails this army? I hear that the enemy move toward the heart of Alterac, towards Strahnbrad, the chief trading crossroads in the country"

The general noble looked with an indignant gaze towards the men. 

"These -volunteers- have none of the superior training and discipline of a true army. In the post-war years even our equipment has…somewhat fallen into disrepair"

"We shall have to change that. I'll send out couriers for better supply lines as soon as possible. Now, General, you have faced this enemy before. Tell me what you can of them" Uther said, changing the subject to a more important one.

"Well, great Paladin, we face not one, but two enemies. It is utterly confusing, orcish politics, and best left alone, but in our numerous skirmishes last summer we have discovered that a banding of orcish remnant clans has rallied to the last vestiges of the Blackrock Clan's holdings in southern Lordaeron and in the pacified areas around distant Blackrock Mountain, at least so say the reports from the garrisons. Their force is perhaps stronger, but less organized than the Thrall you've heard about.

"We've been unable to figure out who their leader is, but a large cell is operating deep within Alterac, and the Hillsbrad Foothills. The now-famous Thrall though…he hasn't been spotted for months. Last reports of him were at the naval bases in the province of Morben, where he claimed several of our navy's ships. 

His force though was much harder to contend with. They seemed to avoid the usual targets that the Horde of old attacked, population centers and such, instead of focusing only on areas that would harm our efforts to raise and supply armies," the general reported as they walked through the rows of tents.

"Well, if these Blackrock orcs are the ones causing the trouble now, it is them that we must deal with. They have wreaked havoc around the Eastlands, and cannot be allowed to do so any longer. We shall deal with this - Thrall, later" Uther decided, looking north towards Strahnbrad.

Thrall…what a strange name for an orc, he thought to himself. Perhaps when they managed to defeat the resurgent Blackrock clan, this Thrall, would prove to be of a better mettle.

Off to the east, a horseman galloped along the paved King's road towards them.

As he arrived, he quickly dismounted and bowed to Uther, handing him a letter with the royal seal upon it. 

"Milord, I arrived as quickly as I could. The note is from King Terenas himself" the panting man said, then subsiding into the background of men.

Uther the Lightbringer, General of the First Army and Lord of the Silver Hand,

Additional forces are en route to help deal with the orcish forces in the region. Scouts as well as some captured and 'persuaded' grunts confirm the enemy force is much larger than we were primarily led to believe. The paladin and Crown Prince of Lordaeron, Arthas, my son, shall be leading these troops to meet with your own. Take care of my son, old friend, and rid these orcs from our land once and for all.

Terenas Menethil II, King of Lordaeron

Uther found himself smiling at the letter. Arthas, his greatest protégé would be meeting them to help destroy the orcs. Uther had taught Arthas from a young age the Principles of the Holy Light and had himself blessed the boy at the tender age of twelve, fully inducting him into the paladin organization, the Knights of the Silver Hand.

Arthas had proven himself when he successfully destroyed a marauding band of Zul'Aman trolls, which were raiding the Quel'thalas border over the past few years. Yes, Arthas would take his own place as the head of the Knights of the Silver Hand one day, and be the King of Lordaeron. Truly a great thing, but it might have burdened Arthas into trying too hard at times. 

His protégé was quick of temper, eager, and impatient. But of all the paladins in Lordaeron, Arthas would be the one whom Uther would like to fight beside against this menace the most.

"Good" he spoke up, noticing that the men in the camp were returning to duties. He looked directly at the ridiculously armored ex-general of the First Army, who would now be acting as a subordinate.

"We move immediately. The enemy must be destroyed before any further loss of life is incurred. I want to destroy these vile orcs once and for all. Break camp!" he shouted out, the men in the vicinity already stacking the tents.

Legends told of the Third Great War that ravaged the lands.

The war that made all mortal lives flee to Kalimdor

The war that brought the living against the undead and demons.

The war that brought together Humans, Orcs, and Elves in a fight for survival

There were a number of bottles and cans filled with a liquid that could help them overcome the Diseased Wolf's sense of smell. It didn't smell too bad, but no one was keen to spray it on themselves. Eventually, they decided to put it on, but only after they saw the Wolves. 
 There were also antidotes for rabies. If you consumed them, you could get rid of the debuff, but the cost was rather expensive.
 Ashlam Valorfist's business abilities were as good as his fighting abilities. He knew that Lu Li had to buy the items, so he took a hard-line stance on the prices. Lu Li wouldn't have had to spend this much money if he prepared earlier, but now he had no choice but to pay. 
 Now that they had these items, they were able to complete the quest.
 As for whether this would result in a profit or a loss remained to be seen, but they had made all the preparations they needed. 
 The Ruins of Andorhal – Lu Li was no stranger to this place. He had read about it in many documents. 
 It was a small town in the middle of Lordaeron and was once the main location for the Kingdom's wheat production. In the third war, Arthas saved the town from the threat of the undead, but when he became a minion of the Scourge, he destroyed it. 
 Uther the Lightbringer was then killed by Arthas here.
 As the young Paladin's mentor, Uther had repeatedly discouraged Arthes from his manic behaviour and wanted him to return to the holy path of the Paladin. However, for the young Arthas, nothing was more important than revenge. Arthas led in his own dogmatic way, and followed Dreadlord Mal'Ganis to the snow-covered Northern Continent. 
 It was there that he finally got his wish, as he recklessly pulled out the magic sword Frostmourne…
 Arthas had completely deviated from the path of the Paladin, which focused on self-defence. He drew on the dark strength of the sword, and first killed his father, King Terenas, then killed three of his Paladin colleagues. In the end, Uther was also killed in Andorhal by his beloved apprentice. 
 Arthas took away King Terenas' Casket that was being protected by Uther, and used it to complete the Lich ritual with Kel'Thuzad at Sunwell.
 A team under Ashlam Valorfirst had encountered some of members of the Cult of the Damned. Some of them were killed, but the rest escaped. 
 They seemed to be looking for something called a Holy Light Shard. 
 Lu Li was in a hurry, and didn't expect that there would be traces of a Holy Light Shard there. It was a very useful and uncommon Rare Material and was generally used for Forging the most powerful Paladin or Priest equipment. 
 He did not doubt Ashlam Valorfist's words. Everyone knew that Uther the Lightbringer was killed here. He was a powerful Paladin, and when he died, the light energy from his body would condense into a Holy Light Shard.
 "If you can bring back a Holy Light Shard, you can have all these items for free," Ashlam Valorfist said generously. 
 "You can rest assured that if I find the Holy Light Shard, I will bring it back to you," Lu Li responded with equal generosity but in fact, his heart was filled with disdain. Why would anyone want to exchange these items for a Rare Material like the Holy Light Shard? Only a fool who didn't know the value of the Holy Light Shard would do such a thing. 
 However, Ashlam Valorfist apparently did not detect Lu Li's true intentions, and finally gave him a few more bottles that could cure the plague. 
 Of course, these potions couldn't truly cure the plague. The plague of the Undead had always been an uncurable issue in Azeroth, and even the most experienced potion master was helpless against it. This 'cure' was only effective against someone who had just been infected. Even then, there was only a chance that they would be cured. 
 Since Lu Li was as stingy as always, he unceremoniously put all these potions into his own bag.
 Then, the five people that had come out of the Ice-sealed Mountain Stronghold then vanished back into the area of the spreading plague. 
 The once fertile land had now lost any trace of birds and beasts. The lush vegetation had long since vanished from the now scorched yellow sand. The Scourge not only affected the people who lived in Azeroth, but also affected the land itself. No one knew whether this land would ever recover. 
 "We need to find some monsters to test their strength. Although we know that the monsters affected by the plague have been strengthened, we don't know by how much," Lu Li said. He didn't rush just yet to take everyone into the depths of the land. 
 The first things they saw were some ordinary Undead.
 In the Plaguelands, these Undead skeletons could be seen everywhere. Some of them were still
 mostly intact, while the others had been significantly damaged after wandering through the Wild mountainous area. 
 These skeletons were quite incomplete, and they were also quite small. They were probably children that had been infected. When the Scourge arrived, these children probably didn't even know what was happening; their lives had not yet even begun. 
 Lu Li took out a long-ranged weapon and shot an arrow at one of them. 
 The skeleton that was lacking one arm started walking over towards him. It was moving at a moderate pace, but the others seemed indifferent. It seemed that the detection range and intelligence of these beings was relatively low. 
 "Let me try," Water Fairy called out before swiping her dagger across its neck.
 Clang!
 She had successfully hit the target and even managed to apply a stun, but the damage was
 horrible.
 "I could only deal a few hundred points of damage," Water Fairy said with a frown, "And these monsters have at least ten thousand HP. If I can only deal 400 damage, it means they are stronger than an average level 60 Elite monster." 
 After he had been learned this information, Lu Li's heart grew cold.
 It was no wonder that people described the monsters in the Plaguelands in such strong language. These monsters were supposed to just be fodder, but they already possessed such fighting strength. 
 Lu Li was very fortunate to have brought Innocent Child as a healer. As long as the monsters didn't kill everyone, and the healer kept healing, then the difficulty wouldn't be too much of a problem. They just had to make sure that they didn't provoke any monsters they couldn't take on. 
 With the four Thieves together, even a monster with ten thousand HP couldn't survive for long. The little skeleton soon died and dropped a piece of junk, which Lu Li thought was a waste of space.
 Obviously, the Plaguelands were currently harder to clear. The monsters had gotten stronger, but the items they dropped didn't really improve. The next few monsters verified this hypothesis. The monsters weren't overpowered, but they were definitely stronger. 
 "The monsters are a little difficult. It would be better if we could avoid fighting them. I will scout ahead with Stealth. Everyone else, just keep up." 
 Lu Li had Enhanced Stealth, so he was the best scout. 
 Whenever they ran into a monster, they would hide. It took them an hour to cover a distance that could normally be covered in 12 minutes.
 "Wait, stop," Lu Li halted. After a while, a thin dog-like creature ran out from an abandoned building. This creature was like a bag of bones and had red eyes which stood out from the Ruins of Andorhal, an area that was quite foggy. 
 "How did you know?" Cain's Left Hand asked in shock.
 He was also a Thief, and Lu Li was only slight ahead of him. How was it that Lu Li could notice the Diseased Wolf in the corner, but he was completely oblivious?
 "The fog moves, and there is a sound if you listen carefully," Lu Li explained.
 "Wow…" Cain's Left Hand was stunned.
 "Diseased Wolves are a pet of the Cult of the Damned. If we've found them, it must mean that the Cult of the Damned are nearby. Let's spray the potion on our bodies so that the wolves won't find us. We'll decide what to do next once we see the Cult of the Damned believers. Hopefully, they are in the middle of performing their ritual."

The notice piqued Haji's interest and he clicked accept without a second thought.

Suddenly A Golden mid sized Ball had appeared In front of him, Haji looked at it with intense curiosity and it was as if the ball was calling for him to touch it.

He stretched out his hands to touch the ball and it was as if he was being pulled inside with strong suction force.

"ah!" He cried From The stinging Pain.

His body was slowly sucked inside as if it was integrating his body into something, he cursed loud and was fighting back but it only lead to increase the pain.

Minutes had passed and he kept on struggling, Half of his body was consumed and the pain he received were far more than he ever did during his lifetime.

Due to the immense pain, Haji could only pass out as his coping mechanism.

Figures with Long Ears can be seen clashing against skeletons and ghouls. These figures are Known as the High elves.

"For Quel'Thalas" The elves shouted to boost their morale while Fending off the undead.

A young beautiful Figure with her Wooden Bow and a steel sword on her waist, Had been Killing Countless undead. The elves had a look of fatigue in them and they grew tired as the fight kept going while the number of the undead kept on rising, as the dead elves kept on replenishing the undead army.

A man with pale skin and long icy hair showing how once majestic this man was, sat on his skeletal horse, he gave of a vile aura around him as he looked at the number of elves slowly being thinned out by the endless army of the dead. 

This man is the Commander of this undead abomination. a tragic prince corrupted by the power he sough to protect his kingdom, Known to the people as Prince Arthas.

"Let None Survive!" Arthas Mercilessly Ordered His Troops.

The tired elves had lost their morale as they saw those who once stood besides them whose souls should have been in peace, now an undead trapped to follow the betrayer's bidding.

So one by one they fell and they shall raise their swords unwillingly against the kingdom they tried to protect, as the undead.

The Beautiful Elf who had slaughtered countless undead was cornered by this massive army,
she is known to the land as Lady Sylvanas Windrunner. A ranger general of the Silvermoon armu and a member of the house of Windrunner, a family consisting of heroes of elven blood.

Those who had been fighting alongside her are once now undead, this fueled her anger against this vile demon in front of her.

"I salute your bravery, elf, but the chase is over." Arthas said as he ready himself to give the elf a final blow.

"Then I'll make my stand here, butcher. Anar'alah belore!"

She aimed at the prince with her bow and let go as the arrow imbued with her mana made its way to the prince, yet Arthas was powerful beyond belief, he raised his sword and parried the arrow easily.

Sylvanas knew that her only chance was a standoff in melee, she gave up on her bow and sprinted towards the prince with her elven short sword, a standard weapon given to the elven army.

The two exchanged blows but Arthas had the upperhand even though Sylvanas was much faster, she was at her last mana and with this her attack power was boosted to its maximum.

Arthas slashed with his right hand with an undying momentum, the two swords clashed but her normal short sword could never match the power of frostmourne even if the sword is enchanted to the max.

"Finish it! I deserve...a clean death." She was exhausted beyond belief and knew that her struggle couldn't save her elven brethren, death was the only way to atone for her sin.

"After all you've put me through, woman, the last thing I'll give you is the peace of death!" Arthas channeled his power.

He chanted words that were painful to the ears and seconds later when he was about to cast it on the dying elf a human fell down from the sky, interrupting his focus thereby stopping his casting.

"Fuck!" falling from the sky wasn't a pleasant experience, especially for a fragile human like haji, although he goes to the gym daily, he was still considered fragile.

Though he was amused at the sight in front of him, there was a screen stating

he realized that he was surrounded by filthy looking beings with foul smell that made him want to vomit and then understood what the quest was implying, he looked around their numbers and felt a malevolent aura that made him shiver coming from someone in front of this large army of the dead, when he saw that someone, he almost cried.

It was Arthas on his horse "Invincible" 

"Oh my god! Th-this!" He was shocked and excited, but then he looked at the content of the quest again "Oh, i'm fucked real hard"

"Who are you, human!?" Arthas stared angrily at the young man who had Interrupted his chant.

Besides Haji was an unconscious Sylvanas, seemingly on her last breath, seeing her face was akin to seeing miss universe herself, the only difference was her eyes and her ears. He was amazed by how vibrant her body was and how smooth looking her skin was. If they were on another situation right now, and she's unconscious, Haji didn't know what he could have done.

Looking at his quest, there was no description saying he needed to save Sylvanas but he realized that she is useful if he ever plans something big soon in this world, he lifted her up and ran with all his strength to the forest behind them.

As he was running, a system notification appeared stating

Not hearing a word from the young man, Arthas's patience grew thin and shouted "Nevermind, Human I'll finish yo.." Before He finished his word, he saw the young human carrying Sylvanas ran to the wounds.

"After Them!" the Enraged arthas ordered twenty ghoul to hunt the two, but the ghouls were soon repelled by an unknown shield, Arthas enraged at this sight, channeled his power to launch a death coil on the shield, but seeing that there was no effect, he could only leave with the rest of his army stating "Kill them after the shield runs out of mana, I must not be hindered by these two who are in their dying breath"

After attaining victory over Sylvanas's army and finishing off the remaining defenders, Arthas rallied his army towards The Silvermoon city.

"Charge! Let none Live!" Arthas Charged slashing every elf in his way and following his steps, are the army of the damned, his army grew with every slash of his blade.

Haji seems to have lost the pursuing undead.
He was tired from all the running and after what happened in the woods did they chose to rest for a bit. Letting the wounded Sylvanas to lay down in his lap.

During their escape, Sylvanas awoke from her slumber and realized a human was carrying her, she struggled quite a bit shouting that her people needs her but was slapped by the harsh words of Haji

"How could you even help your people, if we might not even survive those ghouls"

Though good thing, they were lucky and they met a squad of elves that fended most of the ghouls leaving only one ghoul remaining  and completely crippled while the squadron of elves perished.  

Haji took a sword from a dead elf and slashed it towards the ghoul.

He looked around and saw a dead elf wearing an armor with gilded platings, he walked towards the elf, carefully placing Sylvanas besides him and carefully looted the dead elf's body, he took off its armor and helm, then he got a sword symbolizing the dead elf's rank as the squad's captain.

Seeing this, Haji could only shook his head.

after minutes of walking, this now led on our current situation where the two rested.

"shit, great timing" he needed to heal Sylvanas first to stop the wound from infection and for the blood clot to form. 

Sylvanas looked at the sky, seemingly awaiting her death as she imagine the death of her people because of her failure, she closed her eyes as her spirit slowly leaves her body yet in that dark space she heard a voice. 

"Wake up! don't fall asleep, I will save you!" 

When Sylvanas woke up, the first thing she saw was a wooden ceiling, her health wasn't completely healed but Haji kept feeding her the basic health potions he got from the reward, which walking wouldn't even be a problem for the current Sylvanas.

She walked around and she saw Haji, half naked and full of sweat practicing with the sword he got from the dead captain. 

The knowledge He got from playing games gives him the basic and some advance stances of using a sword Which gives him an advantage, though having the knowledge is different from the application of it and so he must practice until perfection.

This cabin they were currently residing at was an abandoned one, Haji found around, realizing this was near fairbreeze village and away from undead lines, since Arthas has concentrated his force outside Silvermoon city.

Time passed and it was already Nightfall, Haji was currently resting while Sylvanas was cooking a rabbit Haji caught during his practice, it was a scene of tranquility.

Silvermoon City, Night Time

"Rise my warriors!" Arthas who had just revived Kel'Thuzad turned the dead elves around them as undead to replenish his ranks.

"I've upheld my end of the bargain, lich. Are you ready to tell me about the dreadlords now?"
Arthas asked Kel'Thuzad

"Certainly. But not here. They have eyes and ears everywhere. We'll talk where it's safe."

The scourge left with them the ruins of the once glorious city of the elves, with the death of their leader Anasterian sunstrider, a young prince hoping to lead his brethren to survival led some of the remnants and there they call themselves the Blood elves, born from the ashes of the old.

"Dythar leave!" rang loudly in Dythars' ears as he threw himself off of the back of the red juvenile Rex. He had already planned on leaving before the girl yelled at him, he wouldn't leave another companion behind again. He nimble hit the ground and rolled to his feet, he watched as the young girls red hair swirled crazily behind her as she and her rex disappeared in the distance, a black rex following shortly behind them. Dythar quickly snapped out of his awe of the situation and ran to Arthas.

"How bad is it?" Dythar said as he closed the gap between himself and Arthas.

Arthas groaned and replied, "I'm still alive it could have been worse."

Dythars' eyes started to glow an eerie blue as he gazed at Arthas's leg. It wasn't a clean break, he had a comminuted fracture (when the bone shatters into three or more pieces). The energy required to heal such a fracture was just something Dythar did not have at the moment. If he was at his peak condition he may have been able to do it. He cursed the fact that he wasn't a level 3 super human and sighed heavily. 

"I can't heal it, if I was in peak shape maybe." Dythar said. Arthas covered his eyes with his arm and groaned.

"Leave me, go back to the village and tell the others what's going on in Terror forest they need to know-"

"Know what?" A young but firm voice sounded from the trees behind them.  Dythar shot to his feet and his hand went to where he normally kept his spear. He cursed at himself for leaving it behind, but realised he didn't need it anymore.

"Ragther you have some good timing don't you boy?"Dythar scoffed. The young man with blonde hair and sharp features jumped down from the tree and quickly ran over to the two men with a cheeky grin. About 15 men most with solem expressions follow Ragther out of the trees around the two men. They must've found the remains of the ones who had fallen days prior, or atleast pieces of them.

"You look like you need some help." Ragther said to Arthas exaggerating the 'help'. Arthas rolled his eyes at the younger man.

"Not from a babe still suckling from his mother's teat." Arthas quipped back. Ragther opened his mouth probably with another sarcastic remark but Dythar cut him off.

"You two stop, Ragther I'm going to need to borrow some men." 

Ragther look at Dythar quizzically and tilted his head. Some of the men that follow Ragther stepped up and looked interested in the conversation. Dythar knew most of them and helped train them into who they were today.

"There's a girl in this forest, in her late teens or early twenties. She seems to have lost her memory and has no recollection of this place. She also has an interesting...."Dythar paused thinking about his word choice.  "An interesting pet, i'll tell you more about it when we find her." Dythar hesitated again before saying " If we do find her."

"Why is there such a young girl wandering around the forest alone?" One of the men who stepped forward asked. Dythar quickly matched his face with a name from his memory.

"I'm not sure Ethan, we didn't really have much time to question her before things went to shit." Dythar sighed as he glanced at Arthas's leg.

"What exactly happened?" the man named Ethan asked.

"Thats bit tough to answer on the spot," Arthas replied. Dythar shook his head and signaled some men to start bandaging Arthas's leg. 

"Lets just say we ran into an adolescent rex." Dythar grumbled as he rubbed his temples with his hand. "Anyway time is of the essence, there's a girl missing in this forest and i'm sure you all remember the name of this forest."

Ragthers face screwed up as he looked at the men behind him. He quickly chose 5 of the men surrounding him.  " Ethan, Ryan, Aliath, Bavae, and Zupa get ready, we're going to be the search team." Dythar stepped forward as well and no one questioned him, he knew the layout of the forest best, and probably knew how to find the girl better than any of the others. 

"Guess we're parting ways for now!" Ragther said, his quirky grin back on his face as he waved at Arthas. He seemed to be gloating that he was going with Dythar while Arthas would have to be on rest till someone healed his leg.

As my consciousness crawled it's way back to the forefront of my mind I startled awake and abruptly sat up. My body slammed heavily back into the mud on the ground after my face bounced off of something hard and scaly above me.

"Ugggh," I groaned rolling to my side and crawling out from under Kitty. I was caked in mud and my hair was cemented to my face in something crunchy, I shuddered and decided not to think about it.

"The hell happened?" I muttered as I looked around me, a few feet to my left lied the body of the black tyrannosaurus. I walked closed to the terrifying beast trying to see if it was actually dead. Could such a horrifying existence really end so abruptly? I remembers it biting into Kittys side and whirled around to see if she was okay. Kitty's scales were paler than normal and she seemed to have a fever.

"Kitty?" I whispered as I hurried back to her side. I ran my hand over her gorgeous red scales and almost jumped out of my skins when a little girl's voice sounded out of nowhere.

"You've acquired enough experience to use level up! Would you like to use it?"

I sat there too stunned for words for a second before I hesitantly replied " Yes."

"Congratulations you are now level 3! You have 50 power points and may select 2 out of 5 randomly generated skills. Would you like to generate skills now?"

"What are skills?" I asked stupidly, still confused as to what was going on.

"Skills are abilities you are able to use that depend on your class, like a Medic uses healing skills or a Brute uses strength skills. In your case you can get any skills belonging to the Beast Tamer class within your level, you also have a chance of being able to learn a skill from another class the stronger you get."

"Why am I here?"

"Answer unknown, would you like to spend your 10 power points, or select 2 out of 5 randomly generated skills?"

"Who are you?

"Answer unknown, more power required. Would you like to spend your 10 power points -"

"Generate the skills" I said interrupting with a sigh. 

"Generating skills please wait...."

Pain spread through my left eye and I closed it to bring up the menu thing. There was a loading symbol instead of a menu and a scoffed. 'Who would've thought I'd still manage to get a loading screen. Suddenly a ding rang through my head and the little girl voice sounded again. 

"Your 5 skills have been generated, please choose one."

In my head a list of 5 skills had appeared in place of the menu. I quickly narrowed it down to 3 skills to decide from.
" Store Beast- Rank 1
Using 20 energy store your beast to be summoned at a later time. While using this function your beast will enter a slumbering state and be stored within your mana. Using this function will heal any light injuries on your beast over a 24 hour period. 

Soul Lash - Rank 1
Using 30 mana lash out with an attack directly on your opponents soul. Will add the debuff Sickly Soul which eats a portion of your opponents health over time.

Metamorphosis - Rank 3 
Using 120 energy morph your beast and your form together greatly increasing all attributes by 30 and increasing attack power by 2 levels, lasts 10 minutes. During this state you will be immune to soul attacks and debuffs. If you are morally injured in this state your beast will be too. 

I scrunched up my nose and sighed finally deciding on two, "I choose Metamorphosis, and Store Beast." Although soul lash could've been handy, store beast could heal Kittys wound, and i'd also be-able to travel into civilization without worrying about her. Metamorphosis was the only rank 3 skill on the list, and seemed to be the most useful so it was the first one I chose. 

"Ding!... Ding! You've acquired 2 new skills! Sending information to host now."

I crumpled to the ground by Kitty and curled my arms over my head as an intense pain boomed through my head. Information starting to go through my mind at a rapid pace and nausea sucker punched me in the stomach.  I felt Kitty stir from her deep sleep and raise her head to look at me.
After the nausea went away and the information found a place in my mind I laid on my back looking up at the sky. When I closed my left eye my menu popped up back in its original place.

I used Kitty to leverage myself back to my feet and looked her in the eyes. "Okay Kitty I'm going to use a skill on you so you can take your time and heal okay?"

As if Kitty knew what I said she nodded her head and then rested it back on the ground seemingly exhausted.

"Store Beast" I exclaimed.

"Store Beast being used, 20 energy has been consumed." The little girls said again appearing out of nowhere.

I watched as Kittys figure slowly started to fade with my heart in my throat. I was attached to her now and didn't want anything going wrong. After her body disappeared a wisp of blue light lingered into the air and then launched itself at my face. 

"Eeeek!" I screeched trying to duck but failing as the light slammed into my forehead. I closed my eyes and waited for the pain but felt nothing. A few minutes passed and suddenly an intense Itch started on my shoulder. I glanced at it and was surprised to see a tattoo of Kitty on my arm. She was curled tightly into a ball sleeping like she had been before I used the skill on her. As I concentrated I also felt like I could sense her mind within my own. It's very confusing and a little disconcerting. 

"You'll be okay Kitty," I sighed as I glanced at the sky.

What would you do if you found yourself falling out of the sky in an unknown world full of prehistoric animals, dinosaurs, and things that shouldn't even exist?
