While the players of other races replied in the forums that their Training grounds are also not opened and they were hunting in the wilderness to gain levels, the furious players of Angel race didn't cool down and send a lot of complaints to the company.
Because of a lot of complaints, Summersoft notified all the players that the Training Hall can only be opened 30 minutes later. Seeing it, players of the Angel race over all the continents became even angrier as they were stuck on their sanctuaries while others leveling up but the Company was silent about that issue because it was designed that way.
Several impatient players reset their character and simply changed the race and proceeded with the same class they have chosen before. Meanwhile, the ones who are eager to try out flying waited for half an hour while conversing with each other in the meantime.
After half n hour, all the players received a notification, "Training Hall and Training grounds are opened. Players, please proceed towards it to receive their first Quest."
Williard saw the players were rushing into the Training Hall and then, most of them were rushing out as soon as they stepped inside. As he followed them and stepped inside the building, Williard received a notification.
"You received a Quest request."
As he opened it, he read,
"Angel Celia believes that a person who doesn't know how to fly with their wings isn't a true Angel. You can only learn that by risking your life. Go forth to the edge of the sanctuary and jump down to unleash your wings and start flying."
Quest reward: 100EXP (+20%), 50 copper.
Williard thought, "This is what I love about Angels, 20% additional EXP but this starting is more like an S-rank Quest. For humans like us, it's very hard to try flying. This is the part where the nightmare begins."
Several players began resurrecting upon failing. But since there are no penalties existed until level 20, most of the players tried again and again.
Many of the other players who were trying to level up in the 1-5 leveling areas were startled as players were jumping down from the edge but failing to fly and drop dead on the ground right before them, or their prey or even on them coincidentally.
Williard stood at the edge and looked at the others, who were looking like they are participating in a mass suicide. Then, he took a long breath and jumped down. A few seconds later, he resurrected on the sanctuary after failing like the rest of them.
The forums again filled with a massive number of insults from players all over the world, who are facing the same situation.

More than 60% of the Angel race players that are like at least 3-4 million overall, used the Reset stone, a Welcome gift which resets all of the levels, skills, and attributes except their character name and the items in their inventory, and changed their race to another one, causing a slight panic among GMs of the Summersoft.
Just when the GMs are discussing whether this incident would bring a bad reputation to the company, positive comments began to appear one by one in the forum.

Legs stronger than a pass (A-) had grown to A level and he had acquired a skill called compliant stamina. 

It looked like to survive in professional soccer, stamina was everything.

'How come I never get new skills?'

This thought did cross his mind.

'Ah well. I haven't ever trained for something specific before.'

That was true.

He had only developed a wide range of foundations. He had never actively worked on acquiring a new skill. 

It was only natural that new skills didn't just appear. 

That was okay.

'I can always take other people's skills.'

It was the same in this case. He had needed the physical side of things.

If he had 'tough body integrity (B+)' then it would be a big help in the next season.

He had unexpectedly appeared when Ho Yung's mind was filled with thoughts of German players. 

There was no luck like this.

He had earned a reason to win the match which was in four days.

With this added motivation, Ho Yung trained diligently. 


On top of that, the German style training was a special experience so it was a lot of help. He was able to even sit in on the Frankfurt U13 training or join in. 

The four days passed with training.

He became close with his team's players too. There was also Hyung Jun, that he was already acquainted with.

The fact that Ho Yung was running in Brazil did earn their respect. 

There was one question.

'Where's Jung Ho Yun?'

According to his memory, Jung Ho was supposed to have won the 2003 Bum Gon Cha Soccer Awards. 
He asked around but no one had heard of him. 
How had this happened?

'I guess a lot of the future will change.'

It was a weird feeling.

Some part of it made him feel uneasy and guilty, but he figured that if he was to change the world, he would change it to be a better world.

It was a day that had many trains of thought. 

Even so, his feet were busy kicking the ball.

If he was good at headings, not only could he do heading goals, but he could also get upper ground in aerial spaces. 

It was a skill that could help even if he was not a target-oriented striker.

Besides, if he won here, he had the chance to win Du Rim's skill too.

He thought that he would have to train incredibly hard for physique in the preseason but this seemed like a way he could lessen the load.

So he wasn't going to go down without a fight in this match.

That's what seemed to be written on Ho Yung's face as he charged. 

"Woah."
"He's improved so much!"

The Chas were reacting to Ho Yung's performance on the field.

"I was like that when I was younger."
"Hahah!"

It was the highest compliment that the rather self-praising Bum Gon could have given him.

It wasn't an exaggeration either.

The reactions of the coaches of Frankfurt U13 were evidence enough.

All the staff was focused on Ho Yung's play. 

He didn't have showy tricks like Ronaldinho, or have a blinding dribble like Messi, but there was no denying that Ho Yung was good at soccer.

This brilliance could be seen from many angles.

He was the size of a cat but moved like a cheetah. 

His legs were fast and his claws were sharp.

He was the dominator of the field to everyone who watched.

Only 3 minutes in, there was a deciding shot.

Shoot!

In Ho Yung's signature move, the ball made an arc and shot like a cannonball into the goal with a mid-field shoot. 
With the goal came rewards.

"Woah!"

'Amazing.'

This was only the start.

Woo Hoyoung has returned to the past and gained the ability to steal the abilities of others!

His goal is to now become the greatest soccer player to have ever existed.

The party continued their trek through the forest for another hour or so, with everyone except Maria gaining another additional level.

"Hey, guys...Up front I just found a large horde of goblins surrounding a cave-like opening that led underground...do we check it out?" Zack had just come back from his scouting and quickly reported. He marked the area on the party's shared mini-map.

"There's a cave? That means it could be their den or something!"

"That means...more XP!" 

Lizzy and Milly laughed happily at the news, but Zack felt a little hesitant on charging in to fight.

"I said, there was a large HORDE of goblins," Zack emphasized once again before continuing, "By horde, I mean that their numbers were at least 30-40! I didn't get a clear look because I saw a Hobgoblin in the middle of the horde."

"Ah! It's this dungeon's boss!"

"It's definitely the boss!"

"Yeah...but before we even try attacking the boss...we have to kill the goblin minions first!" Amanda addressed the main issue here. 

They found the boss, hooray, but if they couldn't deal with the 30-40 goblin minions, then the only choice would be to just stare blankly at the boss from afar and leave it alone.

Rushing in straight on would be an act only done by brainless idiots. Maria looked at her troubled friends.

Hearing the 30-40 goblins and the boss, she too was a little put off from attacking them. If they had more players in their party or even just one more player, like say, a decent mage, then their problems would be solved. 

They could just chip away at the horde of goblins from a safe distance with the mage's spells and Maria's [Gehenna's Eye] and have the tanks block their way forward, but unfortunately for them, no one was a Mage.

"Phew...maybe I should have played a mage if I knew Maria was going to be a Priestess..." Amanda mumbled.

"Haha Sis, I don't think that'll solve anything! I nearly forgot to mention, but all the monsters in the horde has some sort of buff from the hobgoblin boss. I couldn't read the description, but all the monsters were level 25 or higher."

"What the heck...you might as well just send us over to do Maria's quest if it's like this!" 

Maria looked around the area and saw a whole bunch of trees, she then remembered the times when she took advantage of the area to take down her monsters when she was still going around solo.

"Hmm...Zack, isn't there some way we can take advantage of the terrain to kill the monsters? I did that back when I was still playing alone! I was able to take down packs of wolves by myself!"

"Huh?"

"At that time I didn't have the Calamity or [Gehenna's Eye], but it was awfully easy to the point where I thought that the developers purposefully made the monsters easy to kill...but I guess it wasn't true since I saw new players struggling to even land a hit on a Horned Rabbit..."

"Ah! That's true! I had that thought too...but all I saw were trees everywhere!"

"Let me go take a look from the air, maybe I can find something." Maria said. She then took off in the next instant.

Before her friends could say anything, she was already gone. Amanda quickly opened her mouth and told Zack.

"You should go with her...watch she'll be coming back because she doesn't—"

"Ehehehe~ Zacky~ could you come with me? I don't know the place!"

"Hihihi~ told ya~"

Zack only stared back at his sister and her friends with a deadpanned look.

"...Okay..."

The two quickly parted ways from the group and went straight towards the goblin den.

"Wow...Mary actually did that by herself, huh?" Milly said with a smile towards her two friends.

"Well, she's not stupid. Once she's learnt a thing or two about the game, she'll gradually get better!"

"But leave it to her to find a solution for us!"

Amanda looked at the two BTs exchanging words and couldn't help but say, "I bet you two could have said something much earlier!"

"Yeah, but Mary beat us to the punch!" Lizzy replied.

"Eheh~"

"..."

Deeper into the forest, Zack and Maria had both arrived at the goblin den, from afar Maria could already see the bobbling heads of the goblins. 

"Ok, I'll fly up and take a look around!"

"Careful, there might be monsters in the treetops."

"Un."

Maria took off slowly. She vigilantly looked around the trees to make sure there was nothing there to attack her. It didn't take long before she broke through the treetops safely. 

She moved in the direction of the goblin den and looked down. 

"Ohh...If I can carry everyone on top of this small hill then we'd be safe...I think..."

Maria noticed the small hill that the goblin cave was dug on. It wasn't really that tall and if the goblins took a roundabout way, then they'd be able to reach them on top of the hill.

She landed and noticed that none of the goblins noticed her coming down from the sky. Maria looked down from the other side of the hill and noticed that it was a pretty steep incline, maybe around 60 degrees. 

"Hmmm... we could attract those goblins into an uphill fight...but that might wear us down...I'll tell the others first though, then we'll decide."

Maria took off again and made her way back to Zack. Once they met up again, the two quickly rushed back to the party and Maria reported her findings.

"A steep hill huh...we COULD fight them there...and considering their small legs we could probably do it."

"Yeah...but, if we only had a player who could do ranged attacks, like a Mage or an Archer class player, it would've been easier..."

"Ugh..."

When Maria heard the word 'ranged attacks, she suddenly remembered something.

"I should have shown this to you before, but maybe this will help?"

Maria brought up her skill window once again and showed them her [Angel's Rage].

"...What the heck? This thing doesn't have a cooldown?" Milly exclaimed in shock.

"No rank either...Ah, this taint value...is this the skill that turned you into a Fallen Angel, Mary?" Lizzy asked.

"Yup!" Maria answered.

"This must be that counterattacking skill, right?" 

"That's right Milly~"

"Wow..."

Amanda was surprised to hear this since it clearly said that the skill attacks every enemy within a 10 meter distance of Maria as long as she designates the target. It should be an active skill not a passive counter.

"Hey, Maria...what did you designate as the target for this skill?"

"Everything that was hurting me!" Maria immediately replied.

"Everything...that was hurting you?"

"It's a bit embarrassing, but I was hurting a lot when the wolves were biting me, so when I heard the skill notification, I only blurted out what was in my head at the time."

"I-I see..." Amanda replied awkwardly. She had gone and reminded her friend about that traumatizing experience.

"So...can you change the targets then?"

"Hm?"

"Like, this is supposed to be an active skill. Like that [Arc Swing], [Calamity Cleave], and that [Gehenna's Eye] of yours...I'm sure you can activate it."

"Oh! I didn't think about that! It always seemed to activate on its own so I never really bothered to care about it anymore~"

"Well, if we have this we can probably do this...It deals 250 Pure Damage, so a couple of waves of the attack would be enough to fell a goblin. Not to mention it only uses up 50 Mana per activation and considering Maria's abundance of mana she could totally keep it up until the horde of goblins all died!"

The party immediately realized how great this plan was and immediately put it into action. First they tried to test whether Maria could select her target by experimenting on some of the patrolling goblins in the forest. 

It was a success and it took around 15-20 waves of feathers to kill a goblin. Also, Maria could just designate all the monsters in her field of vision as targets and her feathers would shoot forward in attack.

The only limitation would be the accuracy. The feathers would only shoot at the target's initial location. If they dodged away then the feathers shot out would miss entirely and Maria would only be wasting her mana.

It was fortunate that her feathers were pretty fast, but after a couple of waves of her attacks, the goblins would soon adapt to the speed and they'd begin dodging. The only way was to burn them with [Gehenna's Eye] first before killing them off with [Angel's Rage] which was a huge expenditure of Mana. 

"Well, this should do, right?" Amanda asked to which Milly and Lizzy replied.

"Yeah, let's just get things over with. If we can't do it, the worst that'll happen to us is we die!"

"Since we're all in agreement; Operation Goblin Extermination, start!" Lizzy declared.

Zack and Maria only cheered in the back.

Michael curiously walked up to them and read their own class descriptions.

Assassin -  Free from the constraints of a conscience, these mercenaries rely on brutal and efficient tactics. Afraid to even waste a single second, Michael hurriedly skipped the introduction story, he had already seen a countless times earlier. Currently, a $300 monthly bill for this game is a great expense for him.
 
In Fate Online, players can play asleep for 2 whole days in the game while only a day would passed in the real world, It was implemented to accommodate the working people.

Every player can choose where their starting point would, either the capital of a kingdom, a major city even a village.

In a flash of light, he appeared in the square of Haven City.

"Holy!"

Michael was shocked by how realistic this game is, with buildings made of bricks, it was like in the middle ages but cleaner Astonished, Michael looked around with unbelieving eyes. There were players like him with the same attire of white shirt, black pants, a pair of shabby shoe and their respective weapons from their classes, as they also curiously looked around with shock in their eyes.
He had been bewildered, but it was temporary, and he soon calmed down.

Michael clenched his first, "this is my time and I will become the greatest assassin the game world has ever seen" he thought.

"Based on the knowledge I had of Rpg games I've played before, It's either the mayor of the city or town that would first issue a quest but sometimes the gate guards also do it" Michael mumbled as he racked his brains from the knowledge he had while playing Rpg games before.

"Let's head to the Guards first" Michael decided but it seems the other users didn't had the same thought as him and they headed towards the middle of the city, Michael looked at them and shrugged his shoulders and ran towards the nearest gate. "After all, this game is almost a reality, is it really that easy to meet the mayor or city lord with how they dressed shabbily?" thought Michael.

 "Yes!" Michael shouted in joy as he saw the flashing yellow light above one of the gate guards.
Michael walked up to the guard and politely said: "Hello there sir, is there anything I can help you with?"

The guard looked at him while he started scrutinizing Michael. Wow, this NPC's really acts like real people, Michael thought, not even bothered from the gaze of the guard.

After a few seconds, the guard suddenly smiled and said: "Brave young warrior, I"m the Bruno, the Guard Captain of the East Gate! Recently, the Wolves on the Eastern Forest has been causing a lot of troubles to people coming in and out of the city and because of the sudden surge of population within the city, almost all the city guards have been mobilize to patrol around  and we don't have any spare guards to send to take care of these Wolves, Are you brave enough to kill 25 of them?

Bruno, Guard Captain of the East Gate has issued a task for you to kill 25 Wolves at the Eastern Forest that has been causing troubles around the city. Finished the task and get the following rewards.

"Wow, he's probably talking about the surge of users appearing in the city" Michael can't still get use to how these NPC's act.

"I'll gladly help!" Michael said in a resolute tone.

Michael trotted pass the gate and saw the Eastern Forest just over 100 meters away from the gate and walked there while he would passed by some merchants entering the city who nodded at him, he then opened his "Status Window" while walking.

Michael thought when he saw how high his stats are while shaking his head, before coming to a halt.

"How lousy, i guess it's better than nothing but still lousy though" Michael said as he shook his head and then he opened the "Skill List".

[Ambush (Passive Skill)]: 25% bonus Attack Damage when attacking an enemy undetected.

[Level 1] Stealth: Ability to hide one's presence in the darkness. Only monsters or players with a level less than 5 levels above the stealth player could detect the player's presence within a 4-meter distance.  Ability would be disabled if attacked or discovered. Cooldown: 3 minutes.

In the game, all items are ranked by Normal, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Ancient and Legendary. The higher the rank of the item, more additional options it would provide and higher attack damage.

"Heok! Both Skills are passive?" Michael was surprised for a moment probably because he thought he should have at least one active skill.

"Thinking about it. It makes sense, after all I'm an Assassin. Tsk! It's not like I need an active skill to kill a wolf" Michael sneered.

Michael hurriedly entered because he realized he had been taking too much time as the other users must have already realized by now that they can't get or even meet the city lord for a quest.

"I need to finish this quest fast before the others found Bruno" Michael thought as he slowly sneaked behind a lone wolf before pouncing on it like a Tiger pouncing on its prey.

Michael repeatedly stab the neck of wolf 3 times as Red Numbers appeared above his head.

- 20! -20! - 20!

All of it was critical hits, the wolf probably didn't even know how it did from just how fast Michael executed it. Just what you'd expect of the former number one Assassin, killing its prey within a seconds.

"Almost a reality indeed" Michael said with a huge grin before picking up the loot dropped by the wolf.

1 Wolf Pelt, 1 Wolf Meat and 3 Copper Coins

Michael put all of it inside his Inventory before making his way to another lone wolf doing the same thing over again.

It took Michael 1 minute and 25 seconds before he finally killed the 25th Wolf. It took a bit longer because he accidentally aggro-ed 2 more wolves while he was trying to sneak up to another lone wolf.

"Hmmm..it seems my body here still can't keep up. It just shows that this still a game. It seems levelling is still a must and I only gained 50 Exp from killing these wolves, looking at from how low the Exp. on killing these monsters just shows getting a level is hard, it seems there will be a lot of people stuck on level 1 in the upcoming days" Michael sighed as he looked at his Exp bar that was only halfway full.

Just as Michael came of out the forest, he saw a throng of people running towards his direction.

"Took them long enough" Michael chuckled as he passed by them and headed towards Bruno.

"I have successfully finished the task you've given me" Michael said.

"Well done, young warrior!" Bruno heartily laugh while tapping his shoulders.

In Fate, the game currency are just like norm, like in most RPG games out there. Copper, Silver, Gold and Platinum. 100 Coppers = 1 Silver, 100 Silver = 1 Gold, 1000 Gold = 1 Platinum.

Opening his Inventory, he saw 1 appeared beside the Silver logo.

"Thank you" Michael gave a slight bow before heading inside.

"Don't forget to visit the Training Hall around the city square!"

Just as Michael only took his 9th step, he heard Bruno's reminder. Turning back, he gave him another bow before continuing.

"Such pity, he would have a bright future ahead of him if he was a Warrior instead of a Nocturnal, becoming an Army General is not impossible. It's been a really long time since I've seen those eyes from a youngster, sharp and fiery. Hmmmmm…" Bruno mumbled looking at the slowly disappearing silhouette of Michael while stroking his beard.

"I actually planned to roam around to look for a place to learn skills associated to my class but it seems I just need to head towards the Training Hall at the square" Michael was mumbling as he looked at the bustling scene around him.

"Hey mister, if you help me level up, I will give you my number!"

"I will give a $100 for a Silver Coin or $10 for 15 Coppers! Come to me if you have it!

"Silver Legion Guild is now recruiting members! No requirements needed! Join now before it's too late! We won't accept members after this!

Michael just shook his head at this smiling and opened his "Status" and put all additional stats on his Agility. I didn't know playing a virtual game would be this much fun, Michael thought.
Standing just inside the the Training Hall, Michael was dumbfounded at what he saw. He was expecting things like the place would have a training a area where you could hit training dummies all day you want.

"This is a freaking bar where drunkards would get themselves drunk" Michael mumbled as he slowly walked towards a guy from out of the 6 people inside, who is dressed in all black with daggers strapped on his waist.

"Hello there, Is it possible for me to learn Assassin skills from you?" this time Michael didn't talk politely to the person but more like a tone he had when making deals with his clients when he was an Assassin from his last life.

The person didn't say anything and just took out two scrolls and placed it on the table in front of him.

Michael then saw the description of both skills the moment it was placed on the table.

Backstab Lvl. 1 - Costs 10 Mana per level. Increases damage by 10% per level. Requires you to be behind target. Stunning them for 1 second. Cooldown Time: 10 Seconds. Cost: 1 Silver

Bleed Lvl. 1 : Costs 5 Mana per level. Ignore 2% Defense of your desired target per level. Cost: 1 Silver

Michael only thought for a few moment before picking the < Bleed > Skill and paid 1 silver before he immediately learned the skill.

Michael didn't linger around and immediately left the place. The other class trainer just did their own business like nothing happened.

"For now, I don't need the skill < Backstab > because I could do it on my own. < Bleed > is more suitable at my current situation right now" mumbled Michael and just as he just started walking at where his foot would lead him, he suddenly came to halt and his pupils constricted at what he saw.

"It's him!"

The most fear Assassin on the world died because of vengeance.

What didn't expect was instead of being sent to the nether world, he instead woke up on his younger body all before the time he became an Assassin.

Instead of going back to the life of living in the shadows. He instead decided to lead a normal life this time and play the newly released Virtual Game, Fate Online!

Let's watch as he change the things that isn't supposed to happen and changing his fate along with it and on the road to becoming a top professional player.
