it's day of the school as hero walk down the street to the school and the meets moka no the street and start to talk (moka::ha.. hero. today is the first day of the school are you excited to be in the same call as me.) ya moka I am not exactly excited just a little scared to go the school. and both enter the school as high wind blows and the school bell rings and both rush to the class. your class is divided into two as normal like boy and girl . and I sit in the fourth row in our class and moka sit on the last row and the opposite side of the class . the first day of the class is going really wrong for me .and the class home room teacher name is Yoko dasa really what hell is that name .and near me is a empty set hmm if it was an anime there will an cute girl sitting near me but not right now. I am just bored and sleepy I think I will be sleeping (zzzzz)and moka come after the call has been over ( ha hero it's the first day of the school day you must not be sleeping, let go out and eat some things) ya..... yes it's the first the of the class i most not be sleeping .both walk there way to the cafeteria to buy some . ha moka what are you going to eat and just buy me the some(ya.. all right hero just go get a sit for as both hero I will buy the food ) hero moves on and sit on the sit and moka but food and Candy.and now sit near hero (moka::how was the class today hero)yes yes the class it was all right. and hero see a girl with an white skin and long dark black hair and blue eyes and asks moka do you now that girl right there and (mako:: ya? hero I know that girl she  sits next to you) really moka the empty next me (yes hero she girl set in the empty set.after eatting moka ask hero to walk together . alright than moka I will be waiting near the gate . and hero and goes back to the class and hero for the entire day watches the girl next to him and the first day of the school ends moka was talking to her new friends and I hero heroshi walks out of the class without having any friends and you're hero wait's at the gate for moka . and hero see the girl as she enter the car and the door closes and the car moves and moka waves at hero and see hero just watching the end of the street and moka come near to hero and call his name in an sweet voice and hero turns and see moka and( moka:: ha!!hero what were you watching in the end of the street!!)it's was nothing just an white bird flying (really an white bird)yes alright let's walk home together ya...ya..(alright let walk home as you say) both hero and moka and on the way to the home moka see her friends and introduce them to her (ha... her this is  miko Chan  and  Asia they are new friends in your class there super cool and super cute I just love them. ya moka I know I just say you talk to them and saying you Love them...)(miko:: ha are you hero that moka was talking about you just looking like an idiot)what I look like an idiot than I am really sorry for that trying to talk to you (ha.. The name is David, a hero summoned from another world. Loved by the people, they made him their symbol of peace, yet the war is still not over.

He was summoned inside the castle and talked to the king directly. 

"I need you to defeat the threat that's opposing the kingdom." Said the "kind" king to David, the hero. 

"I, the summoned hero, will take this mission respectfully and save the people and this kingdom for peace!" 

With his sense of justice, the hero, immediately accepted the task with burning heart and determination. 

Days passed, and the army of dark figures are slowly approaching the kingdom. The figures were humanoid beings with black skins with horns and wings sprouting from their back. They marched with such intense aura, the ground trembled with fear. 

With the guidance of the king and the strongest swordsman in the world, the hero trained day and night to defeat the [demons] that was slowly marching towards the kingdom.  

With his strong sense of justice and willpower, his strength rapidly grew. His normal build became perfect with the training and practice from his master, the swordsman. 

Until one day, the swordsman and the hero clashed. The hero lost, and he trained harder, harder, harder, and harder. He surpassed his limits everytime he clashed with his master, yet he still lost.  

But with his willpower, his desire to protect the people and kingdom rapidly grew. His desire for power, exploded in his mind.  

He trained, while the march of the [demons] continued forward.

[Change pov/]

A month passed, and the [demons] were outside the high walls of the kingdom. Raising their weapons, they screamed and attacked the entrance, yet before they did, a bright flash blinded their eyes. 

"All of you! Attacking our kingdom and people, will die!" The hero, David, said with his whole strength. 

His voice filled the [demons]with anger and frustration. They continued their attack with more resentment and wrath. The aura of the [demons] intensified and attacked the hero, who is standing in front of dozens of armies of [demons].  

With his eyes sharpened, the hero unsheathed his sword and leaped into the groups of [demons]. His sword glowed with a fiery burning justice, and slammed into the hordes of [demons]. 

Boom! 

With the sound of explosion, the bodies of the [demons] lie on the ground lifeless. The army trembled and attacked the hero. They tried guns, yet his armor didn't even get a scratch, swords, yet his swordsmanship pressured them into a corner, explosive, yet he dodged effortlessly. 

They, the [demons] tried everything they can to defeat the hero, yet the "justice" still prevails in the end. 

The war? No, it's a slaughter.

The slaughter of the [demons] was finally done after a day. Multiple waves of bodies piled up on the ground, arms, heads, parts of the body that was scattered on the ground from the intense battle. 

The hero, stood on his feet, with his face tainted with blood, multiple scars in his body and armor. His eyes glowed red from the nonstop fighting and adrenaline. 

After a few seconds that he felt passed like days, he awakened from his "slumber" and stared at the bodies lying on the ground. His red eyes dimmed and breathed a sigh. 

The war is won. He won. He fought for their kingdom and people. 

With the last of his consciousness, he lied on the ground, on his face a victorious smile plastered with pride. 

The crowd cheered for him when he came back, greeted by the warm feeling, he slowly teared. He thanked them all, for the support and encouragement they gave him. 

He returned to the castle, was rewarded with wealth and power. He was satisfied, for now. 

Years after the war. the hero, David was living inside in a hut, peacefully living. He requested for a normal life, so the king granted him normal life.

Long time passed, and the kind king died of old age. The people slowly forgot about the hero, yet the statue of him still stood tall in the middle of the plaza. 

He didn't age because of his [hero] title. When he discovered the fact, he tried different things in the kingdom. But he couldn't find the thing he was missing. 

So he closed himself in a wooden hut. Absorbed in meditation to forget.

Years passed faster. He is now hundreds of old. The crude making of the hut made it crumble, disturbing the hero from his meditation. The hut itself was reinforced with magic, but the material itself was the problem. 

The hero contemplated. So many things have changed, yet I still didn't. 

He soon decided. He grabbed his sword and strapped it on his shoulders. He will go for a walk. 

While the hero was walking, he encountered a young woman being threatened by multiple thugs on the corner. With his sense of justice still overpowering his brain, he made all of the thugs unconscious and saved her from them. 

"I became too rusty. I should've 'stretched' before going here." The hero muttered as he helped the young lady. 

After seconds of helping her stand up. The hero noticed that she have a collar on her neck, so he asked what is it for. 

"It is a collar for a slave" said the young lady. 

The hero was shocked. The kingdom didn't enslave people! He tried to question her more, but she didn't answer. The hero noticed that the collar have magic implanted in the gem on the middle of the collar.

"This should have been the battery that absorbs the mana in the air and converting it into subordinate magic." The hero muttered as he chanted a magic spell. 

The young lady was surprised at the hero using magic. But before she could ask, she felt the collar around her neck loosening, before it fell on the floor. 

She stared at the hero for a long time, seemingly in a daze. The hero waved his hands to awaken the young lady from her daze. He smiled at the young lady before turning to leave. 

"Wait!" The young lady screamed at the hero. 

The hero turned around to meet her face almost touching his nose. Startled, he stepped back unconsciously and asked her what's wrong. 

"Please let me serve you! You might think that I'm a human, but I'm a [demon]!" The young lady flashed her black wings before starting at the hero again. 

The hero was shocked. He didn't knew that some of the [demon] have normal skin like humans. Also there's good [demons]. 

The hero stared at the young lady whose eyes are sparkling with anticipation, so he gave up and sighed.

"Okay, okay... Let's go" the hero waved his hands and walked towards the castle. 

"Yes!" The young lady smiled brightly and followed him while hopping happily. 

The hero stared at the young lady, and felt foreign emotion slip in his defence. He knew various emotions, yet this one he didn't know. It's a warm feeling when he was welcomed back my the people, yet it was different. If the warmth he was feeling before can be described as gentle yellow, then this feeling can be described as slight pink. 

He wondered. But he ignored the feeling and just enjoyed the girl hopping who somewhat filled his satisfaction for life. 

The hero and the young demon, walked away with smiles in both of their faces.

with all due respect, this is a story where twisted ideas of mine are composed. 

some may include creepy and disturbing topics, others normal cliche. but please, don't blame me if this is a bad book for you. I'm just a beginner.

Heero departed to Morabaka City in high spirits and expectation. As Saint's disciple, he was confident in his strength. Even though he never experienced the outside words, his seven fairy mothers always told him everything about the outside world. Moreover, in his Master's library, there was a history of humanity and important event was also recorded in a book.

He wanted to be a Legendary Hero. To be a Legendary Hero, he needed to defeat God. Whether it was God Beast or God Specter, he needed to defeat one of them to be a Legendary Hero.

However, for now, Heero realized that to defeat a god with his current was unrealistic. For now, he planned to raise his rank slowly.

For now, his rank was an apprentice hero, the lowest one. Above Apprentice Hero was Intermediate Hero and Advance Hero. People usually called Intermediate Hero as lower-level Beginner Hero and upper-level Beginner Hero when one reached Advance Hero.

Above Beginner Hero, it was Master and Grand Master. Above Master and Grandmaster was King, King of Heroes. This rank was only for Hero who had defeated King or Emperor Specter/Beast.

However, Heero did not want to be just King, he wanted to be a Legend. He wanted to be what his Grandfather yearned for.

"I will be a Legend!" Heero clenched his palm into a fist and aimed to the sky.

"But before that, I will have to reach Morabaka City first!" Heero put his hand down and went to sleep.

Currently, he was staying in the wilderness. His Master said it would take a month trip to reach Morabaka from Nebraska. Heero was still halfway to reach Morabaka.

The next morning, Heero continued his journey to Morabaka. His journey to Morabaka was smooth, he encountered no Specter and Beast at all.

Fifteen days passed by and finally, Heero got to see Morabaka's metal wall. As one of the five biggest cities, Morabaka had another name, Unbreachable Fortress.

The black metal wall left Heero in amazement. When one just looked at the metal wall, it would leave an oppressive feeling. Heero rushed to the gate.

He wanted to enter the city directly, he was eager to see what Morabaka City looked like. However, before he could enter, there were two guards blocked him with their spears.

"Kid, you have to pay if you want to enter the city!" A guard full of beard said to Randy.

Heero realized his mistake. If one wanted to enter the city, they had to pay and it applied to the normal citizen, merchants, etc. However, if it was Hero, they did not need to pay as long as you showed Hero Identity Card.

Heero did not wear plate armor or leather armor like a normal hero would wear, but casual clothes. So the guards mistook him as a normal citizen.

"Oh, I am sorry Uncle. I am a Hero!" Heero apologized and showed his identity card as a Hero proudly.

The guard surprised when they saw the identity card. They thought Heero was just a normal netizen who just back from the other city.

The guard did not directly let Heero in. A guard with full of beard took the identity cars. He wanted to check it. When he saw who approved and made the identity card, the bearded-guard surprised.

Archief Priest Salomon Arkshain, one of twelve Archief Priests. The guard immediately gave the id card back to Heero. With a smile, the bearded guard let Heero in.

"Good Luck, Boy!"

Getting one card approved by Archief Priest meant Heero was a real deal.

Heero took back the id card and thanked the guard, "Thank you, Uncle!"

When he was inside the city, Heero was not surprised anymore. It because Morabaka City was completely ordinary compared to Nebraska City.

"Hmm, let's just head to Hero Guild!" Heero did not have the interest to walk around of Morabaka City.

If Nebraska Temple was a place where he could become a Hero, then Hero Guild was a place where Hero working. Hero Guild would provide the mission and Hero Guild was also the one who determined the hero rank.

Even though Morabaka City was a foreign place for Heero, but he did not have a problem to find where Hero Guild was. He only needed to ask a passerby. When it came about Hero, even you were stranger, they would gladly help.

Hero Guild was located at the north of Morabaka City. The biggest building in the north was Hero Guild. It was easy to find.

Heero entered Hero Guild and went directly to the counter.

Heero gulped a glass beer in one gulp and released out a sigh. It's been a year since he arrived at Morabaka City to start his career as Heero.

He started his career pretty good and caused controversy as he advanced to Beginner-Intermediate Hero just in one month. It was not that the fastest, but it was exceptional.

However, even though Heero advanced to Beginner-Intermediate Hero in one month, he was still stuck in Beginner-Advance Hero after a year. He took a month to advance to Intermediate Hero, but it took him 11 months to raise his rank to Advance Hero.

Of course, the problem was not with him, but the mission. One could advance to Intermediate Hero by completing 3 lower-level Beginner Missions or killing a thousand undead.

Undead was rank 1 specter, people usually called rank 1 specter undead because they did not have intelligence. Specter was an undead who gained intelligence.

Heero advanced to Intermediate Hero by killing a thousand undead. It was an easy feat. However, in order to raise his rank to Advance Hero, Heero needed to kill a hundred thousand undead or complete 20 Beginner Missions.

The problem was, Hero Guild hardly came up with a mission. Most missions were for a high-rank Hero and Heero could not take that mission because of his low-rank Hero. Even Hero Guild issued a Beginner Mission, there would be many Beginner Heroes would fight over it, first come first serve. It was the rule.

Wiping out undead was the easy choice. However, the problem was hard to find a hundred thousand undead. Heero managed to kill seventy thousand undead and finish 6 Beginner Missions in 11 months to raise his rank to Advance Hero.

Now, to raise his rank to Master Rank Hero, he had to kill ten million undead or a million rank 2 Specter (low-level Specter Knight) or a hundred thousand rank 3 specter (Intermediate-level Specter Knight).

The problem was they could only find rank 2 Specter or rank 3 Specter when war broke. Heero now stuck at Advance Rank Hero, he had a headache to raise his rank.

"Oya boy, do you have a problem? If you want to solve your virginity problem, then I will gladly help you!" A woman behind the counter approached Heero.

This woman was the owner of this bar. Heero was regular in this bar and he was familiar with the Boss, Marie Arossia. She was a hot woman, mature face, hot body, and her long legs had charmed many youths. There was another name for the Boss, Virgin Killer.

"Heh, I want to be a Legendary Hero as soon as possible. I want everyone knows my name, I want to be Legend just like Hero Mikail and it will be like this: Xing Heero, the Legendary Hero from Xing Village!" Heero declared proudly.

"Then, how soon? How soon do you want to be a Legend?" Marie asked again.

"Fi…" Heero stopped. He wanted to reply in five years, he would be a legend in five years, but he knew he would get another scold if answered like that.

"Ten years, maybe?" Heero answered in a small voice.

Marie kept asking another three legends and Heero answered it truthfully. However, his voice was getting smaller and smaller as he answered Marie's question.

"Do you understand, right?" Marie said it in an annoyed tone.

Randy nodded his head meekly. He did not dare to meet his eyes with Marie's.

Amongst the seven legends recorded in a book, Hero Guan was the fastest to be a Legendary Hero. He slew God Specter 190 years after his debut as hero.

Here, He was so cocky declaring he would be a Legend in ten years. Heero was so ashamed for his declaration.

"I am sorry!" Heero apologized for his cockiness.

Marie waved her hand, "It's good if you realize it. Also, It's good if you want to be a legend as soon as possible, but Hero mattered not only rank, you know? Hero Guild set the rank not merely for you to show off, but for your own good. With rank, you will know your limit. So you know which one you can fight and which one you can't! With rank, Hero Guild can reduce the Hero casualties, do you understand?"

It was rare for Marie to talk about this serious. She seemed to care a lot about Heero.

Heero nodded his head, "I know! Thank you, Lady Boss!"

"It's good you understand! By the way, why do you want to be a Legend as soon as possible? I am curious!" Marie was truly curious.

At the most unfortunate day which also the luckiest day for Xing Heero, his village was attacked by a specter. He lost family, his childhood sweetheart, he lost everything. However, on the same day, the strongest man called Saint picked him up as his disciple.

After years of training under the strongest man, Saint. To fulfill his Grandfather's dream to be a Great Hero, Heero started his career as a Hero. Heero was determined to kill specter and would not let any child experienced the same experience as him.

However, maybe he had used all his luck to get the strongest man as his Master. Somehow, all of his achievement was stolen by the other heroes. The unfortunate event kept happening to Heero which led all of his achievement being robbed by the other Heroes.

In the last of his unfortunate event, he tried to kill God Specter, but it only ended him up sealed in Eternal Ice. The last moment before Heero lost consciousness, he vowed he would retire as Hero.

"Father! Mother! I will be obedient! I will stop to be Hero and continue our family line, please release me from this Eternal Ice!"

Hero stood in front of the elevator, waiting patiently for it to arrive which would take him towards the medical building. He can't help but smile thinking about finally being able to meet Avalyn in the flesh. 
It has been a while, it has been a long while since they last saw each other face to face.
Even though Hero was able to watch Avalyn from the screen whenever she got caught on one, physically seeing her was still different.
Feeling uncomfortable wearing the prosthetic leg which allowed him to walk freely without his motorized wheelchair, Hero passed the ramen that was secured by its styro packaging on his other hand. It was his way of wanting to distract himself. He needed something to keep his mind busy and devoid himself of thinking about his discomfort.
With his thoughts focused on his leg, Hero can't help but miss the days when he used to have both of his feet walking just fine. He hasn't always been stuck on a motorized wheelchair. He used to be whole.
But now? Hero would often feel incomplete. Losing his leg was the second most devastating thing to ever happen to him. The first one was of course, losing Avalyn, his first love.
 Despite the growing unease due to his fake leg, Hero smiled once again imagining seeing Avalyn's usual stoic expression break into a grin upon handing her the ramen which he took the time to grab from La Boutique.
Hero could swear that Avalyn must have loved ramen more than anything. The first time she had one was on their first date.
With his mind getting preoccupied by events from his past, Hero slowly closed his eyes and savored the moment.
Avalyn had worn a blue dress. It was a simple and conservative one but which had looked elegant on her. 
Hero remembered being speechless upon seeing her looking so beautiful. He recalled thinking how he had fallen for her all over again. He could also recollect the look of astonishment breaking her expressionless face upon tasting ramen for the first time.
Hearing the whir of the approaching elevator, Hero reopened his eyes and watched as the elevator doors began to slide open.
For a brief moment Hero was uncertain if he was seeing things or if the familiar-faced woman staring right back at him was actually inside the elevator. Realizing that it was really her, Hero smiled.
"Hi," he said. It took several seconds before Mary Earle, the woman in the elevator, was able to say one meek hello back to him.
As far as Hero could remember, she still seemed like the shy girl that he had met a few years back.
"Mary, right? Mary Earle?" Hero knew who she was, however he wanted to make sure he got her name right. It was always better to ask than assume, especially when it came to identities.
"Yes, you remembered me," Hero gave her a brief nod, catching sight of her bright amber eyes.
"I rarely forget people, especially with faces such as yours," he said, sending her a friendly wink. Mary seemed to relax after that, smiling back towards Hero.
"I haven't forgotten you either," she stated to which Hero responded with a shrug.
"Well, a face like mine is hard to forget as well."
"Indeed," Mary agreed, gasping a few minutes after she had said it which made Hero wonder what the sudden catching of breath was for.
She must have realized something, Hero mused.
"Are you alright?" Hero said, watching Mary Earle whose face appeared to have turned bright red for some reason. He found it a little amusing and cute.
Whatever her realization was about, Hero would like to assume that it must probably be something embarrassing seeing that her cheeks were still as red as a tomato.
"I, uh, yes. I'm fine," Mary paused, clearing her throat. "I just remembered that I need to hurry and go back home," Hero chuckled.
Deep down, he knew that she was lying. The sudden gasp was about something else. He was sure. It was kind of obvious that she was merely making an excuse to hide her embarrassment.
Although Hero was dying of curiosity about what it was, he would rather let her save her dignity than make her more uncomfortable by asking.
"Alright, you go ahead then," Hero said, stepping aside to let her pass through. Mary Earle nodded.
"Yes, I--, it was nice meeting you again, Hero." Hero smiled.
"The pleasure was all mine, Mary. You take care," Mary Earle acknowledged his remark with another nod before she got off the elevator while Hero took her place inside it.
He watched her walk away and then suddenly halting halfway through the entrance of La Boutique. Mary Earle turned towards Hero. She waved goodbye, smiling in his direction.
Hero raised his free hand and waved back to her. Her face was the last thing Hero had seen before the elevator doors shut close, the machine's whir was immediately heard the moment Hero pressed the button with the medical building sign.
Thoughts of how he had met Mary Earle began to invade Hero's mind, taking him to another trip down memory lane.
Mary Earle was Attorney Sy's secretary. Attorney Sy specializes in crime. He was one of the best criminal lawyers around The Mesial. He had always won the cases he handled.
It was why Eden, Hero's boss at that time, had sought the man.
Eden has four sons, his wife died while giving birth to the last one. Ever since then, Eden had raised his children on his own. He never remarried.
But of course, raising four boys was never easy especially with the kind of work that Eden has. He was barely home. The old lady in the apartel next door offered to watch over the kids while he was away. It was how Eden was able to manage until his children finally came to age.
Eden had thought that he could finally relax with his sons being capable of taking care of themselves. However, instead of ease, it was when his troubles had begun.
Eden's youngest son, Apollo, had fallen with the wrong crowd. Among his siblings, he had always been the black sheep.
Hero sympathizes with him though. He and Apollo were almost the same age at that time when he was falsely accused of murder.
Growing up, Eden didn't know that Apollo's siblings had blamed him for their mother's death. Apollo had kept his feelings of anguish and hatred for himself and put on a facade in front of Eden. 
It didn't take long for him to start blaming himself too for their mother's death and this led him to fall as an easy victim to the wrong crew.
Apollo learned his lesson about choosing one's friends wisely by paying a huge price.
Even though Eden and his sons did not live in The Mesial. Nevertheless, the crime took place at The Mesial and the victim was also a resident in The Mesial and so, the trial was to be held in the same place too.
Hero saw and felt how Eden was too devastated, he was hardly in his right mind to come to work. Upon learning that he needed to find a lawyer to defend his son, Hero volunteered to do it. 
He could hardly forget that day. It was just the day after Ava found out about his real intentions and had wished to never see him again. So, aside from wanting to help Eden, Hero needed something to distract himself. Although deep inside, he was silently hoping to cross paths with Ava while he was there.
Hero had heard of Attorney Sy and had decided to go and see him first before looking for a different one. Attorney Sy was in the same line of expertise as the late Alice Zephanie.
If only the latter was still alive, Hero would have chosen to seek her out as a start for the attorney hunt. Unfortunately, it was just not possible.
When he walked inside Attorney Sy's office, no one paid any attention to him. Hero was about to approach the nearest person when the door which he had just walked through had slid open and a man in a grey business suit entered who was followed by another man dressed in the same manner seemingly furious at the former. Behind them was Mary, who seemed to be troubled by whatever was going on between the two.
"Allan, you can't just leave me like this. After everything I have done for you, is this how you repay me?!" Everyone in the room seemed to have paused at what they were doing while the man named Allan kept his stride towards the door on the far end corner of the room which Hero noticed had the Attorney Sy printed on a nameplate in front of it. 
It was then that he knew that the man in the grey suit was Attorney Sy. The other man, however, was still a mystery.
"As I have already told you Martin, I can't help you." Upon hearing Allan Sy's response, the Martin guy had just erupted, shoving the former so hard, he fell, allowing everyone in the room to gasp simultaneously while Mary tried to pull Martin away from Attorney Sy.
Hero knew that the scene unfolding before him wouldn't have a good ending and he had no intention of intervening. However, when the Martin guy turned towards Mary, pushing her aside, Hero was unable to stop himself.
"Hey!" he called out, catching the Martin guy's attention.
"I don't know who you are, but you better not---" Hero didn't let him finish, landing a heavy punch on his face, watching the guy fall on the floor with a heavy thud.
"I don't care who you are either, but you can't just hurt a woman because you are mad. You can't just hurt anybody for that matter," Martin guy didn't say anything and Hero was somehow relieved that he didn't fight back. Though if he had chosen to, Hero was ready to knock him down the second time around.
Turning his attention away from the madman, Hero offered a hand towards Mary.
"Need a hand?" he had said. It was how he had first met Mary. Their paths crossed several times after that incident while Eden's son was under trial.
Hero let out a sigh.
It must have been fate for him to see her again today after a long time. Hero mused, wondering if there was a specific reason as to why or if it was just a mere coincidence.
Dismissing the thought, he shrugged it off in time for the elevator to finally reach the medical building.


The world has fallen and so did humanity. In the new era after the apocalypse, Marcus Zephanie was hailed to be the leader. Because of him, one-fourth of the human race was saved. 
He was the new hero.
However, not everyone believed that Marcus was the man people deemed him to be and no one really knows the truth, except for one.

Locks of brownish orange hair waved by the wind, like a flag tied onto the head of a woman. Her eyes sharp as an eagle, her red lips like a blooming rose.

Princess Vera leaned outside the tower ---her arm supported her face by the window pane--- gazed upon the dusty ruins that used to be Eimrya.

The metal parts and gears, scattered around and among the stones, had rusted for more than five years. The wind blows dry through the rubble that used to be part of the castle. The sandstorm flowed across the field of long deactivated, and disfigured, automaton.

A figure showed from the sandstorm and straight to the castle he went, like all before. By the bridge, through the gates, onto the field he walked with pride and confidence, like all before.

Waved and called to the hero the princess did, "UP HERE ! SAVE ME MY HERO !," she cried, like always before.

Ignored her the hero did.

Like none before.

Red metal parts covered the bailey before the keep. They began to move, like wave at sea. Thousands of parts connect to one another forming hundreds of automatons. Their right arms varied in shapes, some in swords, some in hammers, the rest ends in a morning star.

Gears creaked and clink as they slowly turn faster. The automatons approached the hero, slowly, like mechanical zombies. With every step of their, heavy, brass foot they shook the bailey.

But fret the hero not. Grinned and waved his right hand to the side he simply did; around him, slowly, spun a tornado. The wind moved faster and faster. The metal army toppled one by one; the wind carried them around and around the caster, the hero, the metal shrieked as they drag.

The wind goes quicker the automatons raised and lifted. Princess Vera had to take cover; the window broke and her room stirred. The army of metal went high near the clouds and thrown into the distance, never to be seen again.

The wind stopped roaring. The bailey clean and clear. Brushed his hair and to the keep the hero went, like not many before.

To the hero, "MY HERO SAVE ME WON'T YOU ?!," the princess called once again.

Still indifferent was the hero.

Was huge, like any other main hall in any other keep. The long tables flipped and broken, the chairs turned to ash, the paintings torn, the chandelier on the scorched floor. Piles of metal around the sides of the room. By the piles all doors and paths, but the entrance, was blocked.

The metals flowed like water. Clink, clank, and rattle of metallic parts filled the hall.

The hero heard something bellowed behind him, a metal ox. The red beast scratched its metal hooves, stared at the hero with its glowing eyes. Steam flowed out of the gaps between the plates forming its body.

The red ox charged at him. The metals banged and crashed on every step the ox made. The hero casually dodged it. The metal ox hit a wall and shattered.

The hero heard a similar sound of banging and crashing. He turned around, another metal ox charged at him, he dodged it too. Another metal ox charged at him again, and another, and another.

The hero dodged them all swiftly. Something leapt onto him, he ducked down and saw that it was a metal tiger. A clink was heard, the hero looked at the other side, where the clinking came from. There stood, above the wrecked chandelier, a metal wolf. The wolf howled, more metal wolf appeared from behind the chandelier, they snarled.

Another sound of banging and crashing was heard. The hero looked to the front, a metal bear charged at him, and everything else did the same.

The hero dodged, jumped, and leapt here and there. The metal beasts crashed onto one another as they were dodged. The hero danced above the raging sea of metal parts.

The earth shook and the hall rumbled as a metal elephant charged on the hero. He moved through below it and danced above the sea for longer.

The metal stopped forming animals. They flowed and swirled in front of the hero, a metal dragon was formed. The dragon roared.

The hero had one hand, opened, in front of his chest, green lightning sparked and cracked around it. The dragon lifted one of its forelegs and stomped on the hero. The hero throws a sparkling green lightning bolt at the giant metal foot. The foot stopped for a moment, giving the hero enough time to move away, and sank into the stone floor.

The dragon opened its maw and blow fire at the hero. The raging flame engulfed him.

Another victim to the metal.

The dragon closed its maw, the stream of flame stopped. There stood the hero, unharmed. Though not the same could be said about his now steaming butter-soft red armor.

He pulled his sword from its scabbard on his back. The shape was rather odd. It's too thick and clunky, the edges were sharpened roo wide. It doesn't looked like any type of metal except for two black cubes on the base of both narrow side acting like a guard strapped by two fabric straps through rectangular holes made into it. Between the straps was a gap, in the middle of the blade, between these gaps, was a red gem. The handle also held in place by these straps. Above the straps were three holes arranged rectangular, above them were holes along the blade, slowly turning to ovals as they get closer to the tip.

This sword most definitely meant for something other than to strike with. It's a magic item for providing magic energy, better known as MANA, to the user by absorbing them from the surroundings. Someone had simply decided to make it a sword instead of the usual cane or mace shape.

The body of the metallic behemoth dropped and its movement become fluid and organic. It charges menacingly towards the hero, roaring along its way.

The hero directed his left palm towards the dragon. The gem of his sword glowed. Green electricity sparked, screeched, and cracked on his left arm, slowly become greater and greater.

The dragon leapt, it's clawed arms towards the hero, its jaw opened, its body extended. A massive green lightning shot from the hero's arm, a deafening thunder blasted out from the keep across the land.

The metal beast was stiffened and dropped. Its body dragged across the stone floors of the hall with a screech and red sparks, stopped right in front of the hero.

He had defeated the dragon. Like so little before.

Princess Vera smiled.

That should be all. Now the hero only have to go to the tower, brought the princess, get back to his kingdom, collect the reward, and back to another quest for more gold to horde. It's simple and easy from now.

The hero went through a doorway into another hall filled with pillars. He looked around and went to a door he thought should lead to the tower. He opened the door.

A metal arm went through the hero's armor, through his body, out on his back. The hero's blood painted the literal iron fist.

There he died.

Like all reached this far.

"Thank you Talos," Princess Vera said.

She removed her hand and vision from the looking glass, grabbed a chalk, and flipped the mirror around. There lied many chalk marks, 158 to be exact.

"One five nine" Princess Vera said.

Just as the chalk were about to touch the wooden panel, Vera heard noises from the looking glass. She flipped the panel around again and saw the hero fought Talos.

How could he still be alive. Talos's arm went trough his body. He should have died like everybody else.

Somehow, for some reason unknown, the hero managed to defeat the supposedly unbeatable Talos. He shrugged everything off, went through the door, and climbed the stairs into the tower.

This is bad, this is very very bad. He can't save her now, she mustn't be saved now. If he were to save her then... then... the story that she had made, the charade she had lived, and all the guards she had placed for herself would come to an end. She can't afford that. She must do something fast.

In desperation she looked over a table. There sat a yellowish brown metal visor with vertical eyeslits and spikes on the sides.

If it had finally came into this, then she might as well be that thing again.

She faced her palm to the visor, it flung to her grasp. Vera wore the visor, a red circle glowed behind the slits where her eyes would be.

The hero opened the door to Vera's room. Tens of metal stakes on metal tentacles made of metal rods jointed together impaled him.

On his last moments he saw the figure of a woman, metallic yellowish brown automaton, like a beautiful statue of bronze, that killed him with its tens of metal tentacles sprouted from its back.

"Prin... cess..." the hero said.

Vera butchered and slaughtered the hero with her metal tentacles and dropped him on the doorway. She retreated her tentacles, stabbed the chalk with one of them, flipped the mirror again, and...

"Princess Vera of Eimrya, yer hero ha..."

Vera butchered the somehow-still-alive hero again with all her tentacles, except the one with the chalk. She pointed her palms at the butchered hero, metal pipe extended out from them and streams of flames sprayed from them at the poor hero.

A few minutes had passed and Vera finally stopped. The hero's entire upper body opened like a blooming red flower. He's definitely dead now.

Vera turned around, pressed the chalk against the wooden panel to make the 159th mark, and...

"Ya sure are persistent ain't ya ?"

Vera's metal heart skipped a beat, if it beats at all. She turned around to saw the hero in a piece, unlike his armor. His red shirt either from his own blood or originally is also, somehow, unscathed.

"Princess Vera, A've..."

"WHY WON'T YOU DIE !!!"

More metal tentacles sprouted from Vera's metal back and ravaged the hero's body. Her palms throw fire at the hero. Two cylinder appeared on each of her shoulder, spun, and fired sunbolt rapidly at the hero. Vera's belly opened like a vault, a fireball slowly grows within it.

Vera had completely went overboard she can't see her victim. The fireball finally the size of her body. Vera shot the flaming ball at the hero and obliterated the entire top of the tower. The walls and roofs were gone.

However...

"WHY!!! WHY!!! WHY CAN'T I KILL YOU?!?!"

Tens of metal rods went through his body, liters of blood poured out from the holes. Yet there he smiled. All wounds quickly shut, all fractures reunited, all dislocation fixed. The hero was fine and, surprisingly enough, so does his clothes.

"Cuz A've got a job to do, someone n'save, an some gold t'collect," the hero said.

The hero's big figure lifted by Vera's metal tentacles, his feet a few centimeters from the scorched floor. Vera finally noticed the unnatural features of her hero. It never to her interest what her hero was since she knew they will all meet the same fate, she always made sure it be that way. But this particular hero somehow managed to live.

The black horns on his forehead, his green fin-like ears, his big long pointy segmented tail, and his breasts which hinted that he's really a woman, none of these ever occurred to her because none of these ever mattered to Vera.

"No... no... no... you can't win, YOU MUSTN'T !!! My story hasn't over yet, it shall never end !," Vera pulled her tentacles along with the hero closer and grabbed her by the collar.

"S'rry Princess, this's the end of da line. Yer story end here," she said.

"Why... why... why does it have to ?"

Though her face like an iron mask, her voice hinted an emotion, sadness.

"Cuz if it nevar end, when'll ya be able n'tell it," she replied.

"Tell... my story ?,"

"Yeah, who in da hell wanna heard a story tha' goes on foreva',"

"But... I have been Princess Vera for all these years. If her story were to end then what am I ?,"

"Are ye not 'er ?,"

"No... yes... I... we're not sure, we don't know. The soul within this vessel, is, Princess Vera Of Eimrya. But the vessel is something... someone... some... being... another entity," Vera put the hero down, though her tens of metal rods still through her.

" 'ave Vera wennaway from d'kingdom ?," the hero asked.

"... ... no"

" 'ave d'vessel travel much ?,"

"No"

" R' you two neva' wondar what's ouddere ?,"

"What's... out there ?," Vera asked the hero. She retracts her metal tentacles away from the hero.

"Lotsa otha' people, places n'see, stuff t'do, thin's t'discova'. There's more story then stayin' a tower, waitin' n'be saved," the hero said.

Vera fell to her knees. She look like a female knight in full-plate yellowish brown armor with a metal mask. Her used-to-be-beautiful dress torn on the back by her metal tentacles and on the front by the fire ball. All that's left was a jagged piece of cloth, still large enough to be a cape, by her left shoulder.

"But... what of everyone I had killed ?," Vera looked up to the hero.

"Day're dead"

"Will I be forgiven ?"

"Gee A dunno. Day'roll dead an'nye dunno any of 'em"

"Of course you don't," Vera faced down at the scorched floor.

Something grabbed Vera and lifted her. The hero carried the metal statue over her shoulder, Vera's head on her back, and walked down the stairs.

"Where are you taking me to ?," Vera asked.

"Imma collect ma gold. A had t'show ya to Albert n'get paid. Speak of da devil is there any gold 'round 'ere ?,"

"There is a treasury..."

"Cool ! Where issit ?," the hero's segmented tail rattled wildly.

"Second door to the right, down the stairs, at the end of the tunnel"

"Woo-Hoo"

The hero rushed down, into the hall of pillars, second door to her right, downstairs, and to the large door at the end of the tunnel. The room was dark, cold, and damp, filled with chests and barrels.

"My... savior, might I know your name ?," Vera said.

"Oh right right, ma name's Draconia, Imma dragon !," the hero began searching for gold with Vera on her shoulder. Dust float and swayed as she move the forgotten properties.

"A dragon lycanthropy and a conscious automaton. Two freak of nature on the same boat I... we see"

"A'm not like ya, A don' sit aroun' an' kill er'ryone tryin' n'save me," Draconia opened an empty box. She put it aside and went to the next.

"The metal hates the flesh and the princess wanted to be the center of attention. The metal then granted the princess her wish by making her the one who needs rescue. Killed her parents, destroyed her homeland. Slowly the princess merged with the metal, completely. The metal finished its purpose and the princess had her wish. But her heart had become cold and hard, slowly corrode. Nothing she felt when she slay the people. And it became our purpose, to kill anyone trying to save the princess who had gone"

"Does da princess or d'metal no where d'gold is ?"

There was a moment of silence. Vera, if that was still who she is, finally, felt like a corpse. Her story she loved so much had ended, and so does the purpose she made for herself. The only thing which kept her from ending herself was the purpose Draconia had given her as proof of accomplishment. But after that what should she do ?

"My savior..."

"Call me Draconia"

"... Draconia, may I..."

"Jussayyit"

"... you have ended my story, would you be so kind to give me a new one ?"

"D'ya know where da gold is ?," Draconia peered over her shoulder looking down to Vera's metal face; Vera looked back.

"We will help"

Not a female dragon, a dragonwoman, a weredragon girl, a dragon lycanthrophy lady, a dra... you get the point.
