Just as he's on the verge of completing that quest, suddenly there comes an announcement that the server will be taken offline.
And then, at the moment of shutdown, he's transported into the game world, along with everything in his inventory... including one hundred million summoning scrolls.

Logan halted everybody in the middles of the bamboo forest, asking Jaivva if she studied the dispel spell. She walked past him, clearly seeing the reality. a simple weave of hand seals, followed by a clap, dispelled the illusion.


The natural beauty of green bamboo was now filled with green snakes ready to snap if anybody got too close. A tiled pathway led to an earth shrine with an oversized monkey on top.


"Why have you come?" asked the monkey.


"Oh, so we have to talk to him to get the animal spirits?" asked Jaivva.


The monkey hissed towards them until Logan came in its way.


"We come to make a pact for Jaivva and Vanessa. That's all," said Logan, calming the beastly monkey.


Mimi called out to the two girls, "Hey, yall two need to be careful what you say here. Let Logan do the talking".


"What pact must you seek?" asked the monkey.


Logan first turned towards Jaivva, "What animal do you want as your spirit animal"?


In a high-pitched voice, Jaivva responded, "I didn't know we could pick. Oh my God. Let me think".


"Vanessa, what about you?" asked Logan.


Vanessa twirled her hair and looked in every direction except Logan. Her oblivious behavior amused everybody except Jaivva who wasn't paying attention.


"Take your time girl," said Kiki.


Logan shouted, "Noooo! Let's get this going. How about a feral cat? I know you love cats".


"I dooo," said Vanessa, "Buuuuuu-".


"Okay, so I'm stuck between a dog and a panda," said Jaivva.


"How about a bear," suggested Logan, "They're pretty strong and durable. It would really balance your skills".


"I don't want a bear though. I want a panda," said Jaivva.


Kiki pointed out there were enough dogs in the community. It would be nice having a panda around. The deal was sealed and Jaivva wanted a Panda. Logan bickered that it wasn't sensible to exclude herself from the rest of the bears.

Vanessa stared up with a finger on her lips and said, "I mean, I do like cats".


Dani budded in, "I mean, it's okay if you want to be a cat. I'm a cougar and Mimi is a tiger. But, what do you really want"?


Arguing with Jaivva ended with Logan requesting the panda trials for her. The monkey beast began evaluating her. Shaking from the unexpected evaluation, Jaivva jumped when the monkey approved her for the panda trials. 


After giving a thumbs up, Logan looked towards Vanessa. She was fighting a forceful smile. Logan wished for a decent answer. But God the look on her face was that of a mentally ill. Cheeks reddened as though she was naked in front of the isekai community.


He dared to ask after a sigh, "Vanessa. Please tell me your answer".


Her lips moved without sound. It could've been that she needed to use the bathroom when her body squirmed. Logan knew she was just as weird as he was. But damn was she being extra at this moment. He questioned her a few times over, noticing the other three girls were also giggling.


"Dear God," he said, "It better not be anything stupid like a uni-".



Vanessa cleared her throat and stood straight upright to say, "A hamster".


Logan froze in thought, "A unicorn would've been better. At least they had flight and strength".


Before he could argue, Vanessa affirmed her decision with the monkey itself. Logan panicked for her not to choose such a worthless animal, asking why she would choose a hamster pact for battle? 

"They are so cccuute," said Vanessa hugging her clasped hands. 

As the beast approved her for the pact, Logan yelled in denial of a hamster being her spirit animal. 

"You must bring along at least three friends," friends said the beast. 


Vanessa looked over at her three girlfriends ready to run into hamster battles with her. She further taunted Logan if he was going to come to help his teammate obtain her spirit animal. After all, the monkey never said a limit to how many friends must come. 


The pain in Logan's ass grew to a migraine caused only by his ego to reject certain animals as being worthy. He stepped alongside Vanessa towards their trial area. 


"Wait, what about me?" asked Jaivva, "Do I get help". 



"No," said Logan, "Most pacts don't require help. I never got help from mine". 


Before anybody took a step, the monkey slapped its legs and clapped its hands. A tingling change was felt in everybody. 


"Oh, I completely forgot there were typically limitations. What are they?" asked Mimi. 


The monkey explained that Jaivva will no longer have access to magic for the trial period. Vanessa and her crew will have greatly reduced physical and magical ability. She turned towards her team to assure them that it was okay because they had each other. 



Jaivva gave a heavy sigh before walking off into the bamboo forest alone. Getting deep, she found a set of panda tracks that excited her into running through the bamboo.

Meanwhile, Vanessa led her team towards a mountain in a normal forest. Nothing appeared odd at first. At least until Logan began cursing. The mountain got closer at a rapid rate. It was much larger than it appeared from afar. The girls were debating on whether the mountain grew or something. 


"We shrunk," said Logan. 

They each took a look at the bamboo around them, noticing the increase in size. Vanessa began touching the bamboo out of excitement of being shrunken to the size of a hamster. Not a second went by that Logan didn't remind her of the dangers of being small. Except, they weren't small, but rather "smol" in the words of Vanessa. 


Her giggling ended when a skitterish cry rang their ears. Pleas came from the team to shut it up. However, Vanessa was concerned with protecting the scared creature. She looked around, spotting a baby hamster running for its life. 

Dani fired at the large fox chasing it, but her gun did nearly no damage. Her second shot struck the fox's head, gaining its attention. 





Is sad for not having a snack costume.

The Isekai Game is a vigorous sport where players battle in a variety of themes each month. From magic, alchemy, melee combat, gun slinging, themes, players are forced to fight each other and monsters alike. 



Vanessa finally has her shot at playing and making it to the pro leagues to live a life of wealth, fame, and adventure. But when her small guild of misfits is threatened by an in-game assassin and her "ghost" warns her of a traitor, she feels at the end of her ropes. 



Will her new Isekai family stay together and make it to the pro leagues. Or will this traitor succeed at tearing them apart along with the harsh nature of the game?

Notes:
I know my first 2 chapters are confusing. I literally give the first 65 chapters free. My story has a "Do now, explain later" rhythm to it. The characters you read on in the first two chapters get fleshed out in the next two chapters. 
So give it a chance. 


Also, this is not your typical trash Isekai. There is no boy getting hit by a truck. No heavy romance. No high dive online nonsense. No harem. No sex jokes thrown every chapter nor bouncing tits. No truck-kun. No getting trapped in the game. No matrix or any other corny stuff. My concept is not original. But I literally cannot think of 1 story out there that has it.

The rumbling did not stop, and with each passing second, it felt more and more like it was the prelude to an earthquake. Lynn and Qiu Yue wanted to teleport the rest of the penguins back to their world (of course, to the temporary holding area previously allocated for the Farm Rats.)
Still, the Chieftain insisted on staying in this room no matter what was to come until the saviour of his village were to appear. "Don't be stupid, Chief!" Elder Perate berated him as he could feel that the rumbling was approaching closer.
Suddenly, the gigantic wooden door was smashed open with such a force that it nearly made the whole team fly backwards and into the bed of charcoal and burnt wood. At the same time, a large furry figure appeared as it rolled into the house with two Horned Chicken double its size chasing behind.
"Sir HAMATAROU!" Chieftain Skitter shouted even though the others figured that it was in vain. Surprisingly despite the oversized hamster being four times their size managed to hear him. 
"Skitter! You did arrive as promised! Your timing is great!" Hamatarou spoke as it skilfully evaded the horned chicken's charge by rolling towards the cooking area. "Don't worry! It's only two of them that noticed my presence!"
"I do not think that is the point!" Qiu Yue argued while Hamatarou took out a similar looking totem that had been hidden in his fur. He pointed it towards the two horned chickens and within an instant, the feathered horned birds gradually shrunk down to the size of the four clawed scorpion.
"Skitter! Deal with it, while I close this door before any more of those cursed birds appear in front of us. By the way, you should hurry. The shrinking is only temporary." Hamatarou turned the totem towards itself and grew half as large as the size of the door before proceeding to close it.
Meanwhile, the horned chickens became terrified of the newly transformed giant attempting to retreat. Too bad, Hamatarou had been able to close it in time, and the chickens were stuck with their prey turned predator.
"You are more than enough to kill it with that size!" Qiu Yue complained some more, but at that moment, Hamatarou jumped up and returned to his original size. Only now, the hamster jumped with a body enhanced ability and grabbed hold onto the edge of an open cabinet to watch the fight from afar.
"Hmph! Sir Hamatarou is testing us! Colwaski, Perate. Time to show our saviour that we are capable of surviving this trial!" The Penguin Chieftain roused the battle morale up among the penguins as they were going to fight a monster they had continuously been avoiding in the past. "Lady Lynn! If you could, please handle the other one with your friend."
"Qiu Yue, let's get going! Kido and the rest, assist your chieftain and elders. We will kill it if possible, else distract it until you guys kill yours." Lynn commanded, and Skitter was grateful for her enthusiasm.
"Let's separate the two horned chickens so they will not be distracted by each other's prey!" Qiu Yue suggested as she took out her mobile phone. Some clicks later, she held onto her newly purchased RPG rocket launcher. The Empire Building Sub System had given Qiu Yue the ability to buy almost anything from Jin's armoury stocks as well as the black market on the go. (It gave her an advantage against Jin who needed to go into the stores to buy them.)
"I agree!" Lynn summoned her combat bike out as well as an ornated chest and told Qiu Yue to get on the bike before firing at one of horned chicken. Qiu Yue instinctively obliged and fired her rocket propelled grenade at the horned chicken, only to realise she did not have a helmet on with her. But the moment the red panda cultivator shot the RPG rocket, Lynn had already started the engines up and began to move. Qiu Yue was in such distress that she let go of her new toy (despite it being spent) and grabbed onto Lynn tightly.
"RIDE CAREFULLLY!!" Qiu Yue shrieked as she had one hand grabbed on Lynn's chest and the other on her waist. The horned chicken only noticed the unknown projectile when the rocket hit it. While painful, it was sufficient to destroy it, but more than enough to piss it off. The horned chicken saw Lynn running away from it and figured that insect sized being was the one that inflicted damage to it. Thus, it began to divert away from the penguins and moved to chase after the other.
"I see, so Skitter found himself some new allies too. Interesting." 
Hamatarou thought as he walked around the open cabinet and partook on the food that was left there. (His secret stash) The overgrown hamster wasn't too worried about the time limit since the shrinking would be effective for around half an hour, and Skitter and his penguins appeared more than capable of handling it. Hamatarou's thought was more about those new allies. He had never before seen such creatures, nor the weapons they seemed to wield.
Meanwhile, with one less horned chicken currently chasing after Lynn, the penguins felt slightly relieved, though still on edge against the impending disaster they had to fight.
"Kido, Perate. Aim for its eyes when it pecks down. Skitter, you are 'unfortunately', the juiciest among us. You will have to be bait. The rest of you guys come with me after you pick up the equipment, we are going for its legs!" Colwaski, their Elder Genius commanded the group.
Apparently, the ornated chest was filled with the familiar weapons that the penguins had used in the service of Lynn. Smoke bombs, caltrops, shurikens, grappling hooks and several ninja scrolls were waiting in that chest. All the penguins instinctively knew what to take from that chest while Colswaki personally handed the more specialised ones to certain penguins.
"You sure this is not revenge, Colswaki?" Chieftain Skitter asked sheepishly, and Colwaski shrugged its shoulders as he threw two ninja scroll to his boss. "Sand Drift Scroll and Fire Breathing Scroll!" Colwaski shouted and the moment Skitter picked up the two scrolls, he activated the Sand Drift Scroll immediately.
Chieftain Skitter murmured a short quick chain of chants, and the scroll unwrapped itself, causing the long piece of paper to turn into a pile of moving sand which increased the mobility of the Chieftain. Next, he undid the seal on the Fire Breathing Scroll, but instead of chants, Skitter seemingly compressed the scroll, and like a magic trick, it disappeared.
The large pile of sand drifting did attract the remaining horned chicken attention, and it proceeded to catch the juicy fat penguin that was gliding on the sand. However, as it tried to peck it, Skitter managed to manoverure on the sand fast enough to evade the attacks while moving the chicken into position as ordered by Elder Colswaki so that Kido and Elder Perate could simultaneously blind the chicken.
In the meantime, Qiu Yue was complaining how selfish the hamster was despite Skitter's insistence of it being a saviour. "If it's really a saviour! Then why doesn't it just make the penguins big so they can kill the chicken easily!"
"If every mentor thinks that way, men would probably starve for not learning how to fish," Lynn replied as she noticed the horned chicken was moving closer at a much faster speed. Its beak was close to the ground as if it was ready to snap at them any moment when it had the chance.
"Any great ideas, Ms Tactictian?" Lynn asked, and indeed Qiu Yue did have one trick under her sleeve.
"If you can get us under the horned chicken or at least close enough, I might be able to do something about it. Just trust me on this." Qiu Yue offered, but Lynn preferred to have an explanation rather than being kept in the dark.
"Man, you are not fun at all! Let me be cool once in a while" Qiu Yue replied.
"Save it for Jin, not me. So what's the plan?" Lynn questioned as she drifted her bike so that she can turn and ride towards the chicken.
"I bought some C4 explosives. As long as we are close enough, I can throw the C4s, it should deal some damage, probably at least cripple it." Qiu Yue replied.
"That's a rather boring plan. I was expecting more excitement from you." Lynn commented as she accelerated herself towards the chicken. The chicken was a bit confused why its prey decided to come towards it, but nevertheless quite happy, that the snack decided to deliver itself into its beak.
"You can't blame me for not being able to do anything else than holding on to your waist! Besides! I am already risking myself by throwing the bundle of C4 onto that chic- KYAAA~!" Qiu Yue stopped her explanation as Lynn was utilising her rocket boost.
"Don't throw, just drop it! I'll give you the signal." Lynn instructed Qiu Yue as she did not want to take the chance of the chicken pecking it or squashing them just because Qiu Yue needed Lynn to ride slower so that she could throw it.
"FINE!!!!" Qiu Yue prepared the bundle of C4 explosives in one hand, and the other was grabbing on to Lynn with the remote detonator. The penguin cultivator noticed how flimsy Qiu Yue's grip was and seized the detonator from Qiu Yue when she kept hitting her with it, asking her to take it. Thus, allowing the red panda cultivator to grab onto Lynn's waist rather tightly.
"NOW!!!" Lynn shouted as she zoomed passed the horned chicken's legs and Qiu Yue did what was commanded. The Red Panda Cultivator somehow managed to drop it on the top of the chicken's feet before holding onto Lynn as she moved off at top speed.
The chicken had tried to peck them but had not gotten anything, as it never predicted its prey to have the ability to accelerate. It had stopped and looked confused at where its prey had gone. Lynn took that opportunity to hit on the detonator the second they were at least dozens of metres away from it.
"BABOOOOM*
A loud explosion ensued following the detonation, and Lynn even had trouble controlling her bike despite having activating her stabilisers when the shockwave came. "What kind of C4 was that?!!" Lynn asked as she continued to outrace the explosion so that they would escape the subsequent shockwaves.
"Inscription enhanced explosives! Meant to bring buildings down!" Qiu Yue screamed as she continued to grab hold of Lynn.
That explosion was a sight to behold for Hamatarou as he clapped while chewing on some (giant) sunflower seeds. (Not to mention Peppers would have been slightly proud for the use of explosives.) It also distracted the horned chicken, which the penguins were fighting, and they seized the window of opportunity with greed. Chieftain Skitter controlled the mobile pile of sand to rise and subsequently jumped upwards.
The horned chicken was surprised that its prey came into its sight as it opened its mouth to bite it down. That was when Chieftain skitter made his Fire Breathing ninja scroll appear and activated it. A burst of intense fire came out from the scroll and directed it into the beak of the chicken, burning its insides, while Kido and Elder Perate finally had the chance to release their multiple shurikens into the eyes of the horned chicken. The bird screeched and panicked while Colwaski and the rest of the penguins threw their bolas towards the chicken feet.
The bolas were not made with mere stones but had explosives attached to them too. (Just not as strong as the explosives Qiu Yue had used.) They knew that the Bolas would not be large enough to deter the chicken, so they detonated the explosives. That act alone, caused the legs to give way, making the horned chicken to fall to the ground, which the penguins proceed to stab and injure the chicken at its vital joints. It was better to immobilise it than to attempt at a slim chance of hitting its vital points.
Kido even grabbed a few smoke bombs with a small bag of caltrops and threw it into the chicken's mouth as Elder Colwaski used a grappling hook to tie the beak up along with the aid of Skitter. The rest of the penguins subsquently went forth to its neck and kept stabbing at it while the horribly injured horned chicken tried to get up from the consecutive attacks by flapping its wings in terror, but it was in vain.
The penguins had already immobilised its movements. Its legs were terribly injured, and the articulation of its wings had been severed by the penguins due to their knowledge of cutting chicken meat up.
Lynn and Qiu Yue eventually came to their aid, and with a bit of stat boost from Qiu Yue's Sub System (by spending money), the Red Panda Cultivator managed to enter into the fray and cut its neck deep from top to bottom for its blood to spill on the floor.
While slightly slow, the remaining horned chicken eventually died a pretty horrible death.


In a modern world where cultivators need a place to cultivate or vent their boredom, there are private businesses that set up instance dungeons with the aid of technology and cultivation magic to enable cultivators to train and commoners to experience the life of cultivation. They are called dungeon suppliers.

Xie Jin's one and only dream was to be a dungeon supplier and when his only relative passed away, the relative's inheritance gave him a plot of land and surprisingly, a 'System' Module which the relative had previously used.

When the turmoils of the night finally died down, sunlight seeped through the clouds, illuminating all of Hanjian. Even the darkest of shadows were dispersed, but never in the frigid hearts of the cruelest.

"Yes, Sunshine?"
Li Xueyue tilted her head as she continued to stare at her reflection in the vanity mirror. Her eyes had changed. They were stern and cold. She used to be so naive and ignorant. So much had changed. 
Now, even before death, she would not flinch. She would not even bat an eye when blood is spilled. Whether it was a change for the best or the worst, she did not care.
"I want poison."
Yu Zhen slowly quirked a brow. His smirk widened in amusement. Her voice was steady and composed, like the rest of her features. 
Quietly, he strolled towards her. Li Xueyue's eyes watched him through the vanity mirror. A large, calloused hand caressed her shoulder blades, down towards her trimmed fingers.

Li Xueyue glanced down at their interlocked fingers, as he guided her down the corridors. Soft, slippery silk brushed against her neck. There was silver embroidery of storm clouds and a soaring dragon that shimmered like stars.
"You're so slow," Yu Zhen teased as he pulled her along. He turned to look at her, a slight smile on his face.
Li Xueyue was heartbreakingly beautiful. She was so tiny in his large, black cloak, dark as the night sky that hid her white nightgown. He was excited to bring her there and didn't even wait for the maidservants to dress her up as usual. 
"Only because you have long legs," Li Xueyue retorted with a slight laugh. To him, it sounded like the twinkle of bells, soft and sharp.
Yu Zhen hoped one day she would take responsibility for bewitching him and stealing his heart and soul. Her fingers would curl over her lips when she laughed, almost as if she was concealing her smile from the world. 
He wanted that expression of hers to be painted. He needed his future great-grandchildren to know where their beauty came from.
"Quit looking at me like that," Li Xueyue mused. She was bewildered by his intense gaze. It was almost as if he was etching her inside his memory and heart, to be remembered for the rest of his life.
"I am just making sure your little legs do not trip over the flat wooden floorboards."
Li Xueyue gaped at him. She narrowed her eyes and yanked him towards her. He chuckled at her actions and slowed his legs down.
"I am not that clumsy," she corrected him.
"But you don't deny it."
"Everyone is clumsy once in a while. No one can be as perfect as you," Li Xueyue argued.
"You think I'm perfect?" Yu Zhen responded. 
Finally, he paused for her. She enjoyed being pulled along by him, but needed to catch her breath. Besides, where was he pulling her towards? 
Li Xueyue glanced around and tilted her head out of curiosity. She was greeted by a familiar scenery. A corridor wrapped around a square garden of white sand, grey pebbles, and a large tree blooming in the center. Small bamboo stalks lined a tiny bridge that led to a man-made pond.
This was where Yu Zhen's private study was located.
"You pulled me out of my room, underdressed, only to show me your private study?" Li Xueyue teased.
"Don't ignore my question," Yu Zhen deadpanned.
Li Xueyue halted at his words. She blinked, wondering if she had heard correctly. Not a second later, she laughed again, highly entertained by his brooding stare. He was sulking.
"You already know my response to your question," she replied.
Li Xueyue tugged at his hand, a large smile on her face. "Is this where you wanted to take me to, your private study?"
Yu Zhen narrowed his eyes. He wished he had heard her correctly the first time. But he had been too busy admiring her beauty. Was this her way of keeping him on his toes? 
She rarely complimented him, but he always knew she admired him. He could sense her loving gaze early in the morning whenever she would wake up before him. 
There were times he felt her forefinger tracing his features, her thumb skimming his jawline while he laid on the bed with his eyes still closed.
Li Xueyue probably thought he was asleep. It was the only time she would be so bold with her actions. She would lean on her elbows and watch him sleep. And when she'd get tired of leaning on her elbows, she would lie back onto the bed, only to turn on her side and hug his chest.
When that happened, Yu Zhen would fall for her all over again. He didn't think he would ever grow tired of loving her. 
People often say love in marriage would die down after a decade, but he was certain that would never happen to them. Especially when they still bantered like friends.
"Well?" she asked.

Li Xueyue tilted her head out of curiosity. What was it? Was there something in his private study that she had never seen? 
"Come."
Li Xueyue always wondered if this word had a hidden meaning. Every time he said it, there was a devious glint in his eyes. As if he knew something she did not. 
Li Xueyue followed him into his private study. The guards deeply bowed when they walked past. She locked the doors behind them.
He walked in front of her, his large frame guiding her into the familiar private study. His shoulders were large and strong. To her, it was the most reliable thing in the world.
Li Xueyue quickly grabbed onto the edge of his sleeves, pulling at it. He was dressed in black, yet again. It was the color of mourning and death, but he wore it far too elegantly.
"Wait for me," she grumbled.
"I was already walking at a snail pace, Little Hamster."
"Well, walk at the pace of a tortoise then, Little Panda."
Yu Zhen stilled at her nickname. He pressed his lips together, suppressing a smile. Little Panda? What part of him was fluffy? 
"Hehe, do you like the nickname?" Li Xueyue asked him. She stood upon her tippy-toes and cupped his face, her thumbs brushing under his eyes.
"This part inspired me," she said with a teasing tone. "That, and the fact that you always wear black."
"Big Bear would be better," Yu Zhen bit out.
Li Xueyue laughed at this. Indeed, he had the temperament of a ferocious bear. He was as fluffy as one, too. But she would never give him that satisfaction.
"Little Panda is a lot more accurate," she teased. 
Yu Zhen scoffed at her words. "You are blind and daft, my pitiful Wangfei."
Li Xueyue snorted at his remark. "Meanwhile, you are intolerable and ill-tempered, my unruly husband."
Yu Zhen's lips twitched. She glared up at him expectantly, her eyes flashing with a warning. He could already picture it. There was another snarky remark resting on the tip of her tongue. She was waiting for him to insult her again. This time, she would be more prepared with her comeback.
But he liked keeping her on her toes. Yu Zhen turned his back to her and hid a smile, knowing her pretty little eyes had widened in surprise. He could hear the faintest of scoffs whilst she grumbled about his height.

Everyone is so beautiful, so preety and so cute, they can kept the whole world with their smile, oh talking about melting, I lick of the melted ice cream from my hand, the flavour is chocolate my favourite. 

"Clarice come! Come play with us," Ayan called out, Ayan is an Indian with her parents both from India, but his American accent is really thick, he is one of my friend and he is six years old, my other friends are Lily, Nur, Feza and Joshua. Lily is a four years old with blonde hair and bright blue eyes who's favourite animal is a hamster, she loves her hamster— Mufasa and her favourite colour is purple. Nur is a seven year old with black hair and black eyes, who loves to wear hijab all the time, she says she likes to wear it which her mother find weird. Her favourite animal is a cat but her mother has Felix phobia or something like that, her favourite colour is green, Feza is dark in skin tone her hair is curly, her lips are big and her eyes are hazel, her favourite animal is panda she loves blue colour and Joshua head brown eyes and dark brown hair, his favourite animal is— "What happened, Clar? Why are you not coming?" Joshua asked with annoyed look.

Takeya bilang kepadaku kalau Madoka itu sangat terkenal di sekolah karena wajahnya yang cantik. Tapi Madoka tidak punya teman selain Shinobu karena perempat dikelasnya tidak menyukai Madoka.

Begitu juga dengan Shinobu, dia menjauhi semua orang dan hanya berteman dengan Madoka. Kalau Takeya malah lebih bersahabat dengan teman-teman kelasnya. Aku sih tidak heran karena aku bisa ngobrol santai dengan Takeya walaupun kami baru ketemu beberapa kali.

Tapi mengetahui Madoka terkenal di sekolahnya membuatku sedikit minder. Aku takut jika Madoka nanti pindah ke SMA Tojidai nanti dia dikejar-kejar oleh banyak laki-laki jomblo.

"Tapi Kaname ada satu hal yang kuberitahu kepadamu."

"Apa itu?".

"Madoka akan berubah sifat dan kepribadian nya saat dia sangat sedih. Karena itu jangan pernah membuat dia sedih Kaname."

Wah ini informasi yang penting untukku. "Bagaimana sifat nya saat dia sangat sedih?".

"... Madoka menjadi orang yang sangat kasar, suka melukai seseorang, dan suka sekali membuat keonaran. Bahkan dia pernah menjadikan aku dan Shinobu sebagai budaknya."

"K-Kenapa kalian mau saja jadi budaknya?".

"Karena terpaksa. Kalau tidak dia akan memberontak dan mencakar-cakar wajah kami layaknya seekor kucing. Bukan itu sih alasannya, kami mau saja menjadi budaknya karena dia teman kami yang sangat kami sayangi."

Indahnya persahabatan mereka bertiga. Tapi, ok aku akan berhati-hati untuk tidak membuat Madoka sedih. 

"Terkahir kali dia sangat sedih dan sifatnya berubah kapan?".

"1 tahun lalu saat kelas satu, dia dituduh merebut pacar orang."

Sial aku malah mendengar hal yang tidak ingin kudengar. "Bagaimana bisa Madoka dituduh merebut pacar orang?".

"Seperti yang kukatakan tadi, Madoka sangat terkenal disekolah karena kecantikannya. Berkat kecantikannya itu Madoka sering ditembak oleh banyak orang. Nah waktu itu ada kakak kelas yang menembak Madoka namun dia sudah punya pacar. Madoka menolaknya baik-baik, tapi keesokan harinya pacar kakak kelas itu ke kelas kami dan menuduh Madoka merebut pacarnya.

Kata pacar kakak kelas itu, Madoka menembak pacarnya dan memaksanya untuk berpacaran dengannya."

"Terus, apakah masalahnya dapat diselesaikan dengan cepat?".

"Untungnya iya, masalah dengan cepat selesai. Tapi Madoka sangat terpuruk dan sangat sedih karena ini pertama kalinya dia dituduh semacam itu. Lalu sehari setelah kejadian itu, aku dan Shinobu menjenguk Madoka dan saat masuk ke kamarnya…" Takeya menutup wajahnya dengan tangannya "Kami langsung dijadikannya budak!".

Sepertinya Takeya memiliki pengalaman buruk saat Madoka menjadikannya sebagai budak.

"Aku dan Shinobu disuruh menjadi anjing, disuruh ciuman didepannya, dan kami berdua hampir dipaksa melakukan seks didepannya."

Yang terakhir itu sangat ekstrim! Oke aku akan sangat berhati-hati untuk tidak membuat dia sedih berlebihan! Aku tidak ingin menjadi budak pelampiasannya!.

Satu jam berlalu, akhirnya kami sampai di Takayama. 

Kami berdua tidak ingin berlama-lama di Takayama karena kami tahu malam natal adalah malam paling sibuk. Karena itu kami berdua langsung ke toko tujuan masing-masing.

Pertama aku dan Takeya pergi ke toko boneka untuk membelikan hadiah Madoka. Aku membeli boneka beruang dan boneka panda untuk Madoka. 

Kedua aku dan Takeya pergi ke toko perhiasan. Awalnya aku bingung kenapa Takeya ingin pergi ke toko ini, tapi setelah kulihat dia membeli kalung yang kelihatannya sangat mahal aku langsung mengerti kalau itu untuk hadiahnya Shinobu. 

Lalu yang terkahir aku membeli empat gelang kumihimo di sebuah toko suvenir dekat toko perhiasan. 

"Aku warna merah, lalu Takeya hitam dan Shinobu warna putih."

Aku mendatangi Takeya lalu memberikan gelang kumihimo yang bewarna hitam dan putih kepadanya.

"Untuk apa ini?".

"Tanda persahabatan. Kau warna hitam dan Shinobu putih, biar kayak gelang pasangan untuk kalian."

Takeya langsung memakai gelangnya. "Terima kasih Kaname, akan kujaga ini baik-baik."

"Sama-sama."

"Terus untuk Madoka?".

"Ada" aku menunjukkan gelang kumihimo bewarna pink. "Aku warna merah dan dia warna sian. Cocok bukan?".

"Mengikuti sudut pandang fisika?".

"Benar. Begitu juga dengan gelang mu dan Shinobu. Hitam dan Putih bagaikan Yin dan Yang."

"Kau memang tidak asal-asalan ya milih warna gelang."

"Percuma kalau tidak punya arti yang dalam."

Setelah itu kami bergegas ke halte bus untuk pulang sebelum sore.

Malam harinya penginapan Mizutani sangat sibuk. Semua kamar penuh karena tamu dari seluruh Jepang hampir semua ada disini. Karena terlalu sibuk, Madoka pun meminta bantuan kepada Takeya dan Shinobu untuk membantu kami.

Dengan kedatangan mereka berdua, pekerjaan kami lebih ringan.

Tengah malam, tanggal 25 Desember.

Aku sedang duduk di halaman belakang sambil menunggu Madoka. Aku ingin memberikan hadiah itu sekarang mumpung suasana bagus dengan cahaya bulan yang mendukung.

"Maaf menunggu Kaname" Madoka langsung duduk di sebelahku. "Ada apa? Apa kamu ingin liat wajahku?".

"Kalau iya gimana?".

Wajahnya langsung memerah. Dia yang pengen ngerayu malah ku rayu balik.

"Sudah, sudah, lupakan" aku mengambil tangan kanan Madoka dan memasangkan gelang Kumihimo. "Selamat natal, Madoka."

Madoka terkejut saat aku memasang kan gelang itu. Lalu aku memasang gelang kumihimo warna merah. "Liat? Warna kita serasi."

"Pfft. Lawan warna menurut sudut pandang fisika?".

"Iya. Kalau begini kan kita serasi."

Aku memegang tangan Madoka yang kupasang gelang kumihimo. "Terima kasih telah hadir dikehidupan ku, Madoka."

Madoka mengangkat wajahku dan mencium pipiku. "Aku juga, terima kasih telah hadir dikehidupan ku, Kaname."

Lalu setelah itu kami kembali ke dalam penginapan dan ingin pergi ke kamar masing-masing.

"Jadi hadiah mu itu saja?," Tanya Madoka.

"Iya. Aku miskin sekarang, jangan berharap yang berlebihan," jawabku.

Wajahnya sedikit kecewa. Namun aku puas melihat wajahnya yang kecewa.

Dia tidak tahu kalau aku menaruh boneka beruang dan boneka panda di kamarnya. Dan dimasing-masing boneka, ada kartu ucapan selamat natal.

Aku masuk ke kamar, mengunci pintu, lalu memasang futon, dan mulai memejamkan mata.

"KANAME! AKU MENCINTAIMU!!!!!".

Jadi dia sudah melihat bonekaku ya. Tapi aku tidak menyangka kalau dia akan berteriak seperti itu. Tapi sudahlah, yang penting dia bahagia.

"10 hari lagi aku akan kembali…."
