Ves completely forgot about the Festive Cloud Generator. The QuickForge system he used in Leemar didn't include the decorative component in its catalog. Even if it did, he didn't want to waste any time trying to incorporate a component with next to zero combat application.

"Even if it's useless, it still looks cool."

Local mech culture out here in the rim frowned upon a lack of professionalism. Mechs were vital weapons of war and their exterior should reflect their bloody purpose. That was why Vincent Ricklin's codpiece-sporting mech had been so widely derided.

Somehow, his frequent use of the Festive Cloud Generator got a pass. In most mockups, his mechs were usually displayed with the generator turned off. This made his mechs appear more sober than they actually were.

Only when a pilot bought the mech did they realize their mech emitted colored smoke from various parts of their mechs. Since the smoke only made them look cooler, hardly anyone complained.

Before he incorporated the generator, Ves first had to define his mech. An imaginary character called the Instructor acted as his inspiration. He thought about bestowing his variant with the same name.

"No, that won't work." He shook his head. "It not only sounds boring, it will give my customers the mistaken impression that it is a mech meant to be piloted by teachers instead of students."

How could he come up with a name that reflected the Instructor's values while making his mech attractive to the young?

The Instructor fed the flames of passion in his youth, using it to accomplish many feats. Though age has tempered the fire, it continued to kindle, ready to flare up when called to battle. The man was old in temperament but young in heart.

"Young Blood."

The name came out of nowhere, but it described the Instructor's drive. Even after achieving immortality, he never stopped advancing his swordsmanship.

Besides conforming nicely with his mental image, the name should also appeal to the target segment. As a business owner, Ves knew the importance of a good name. Great marketing began with an attractive product.

Many potential customers might only ever encounter his products when they stumble upon their names. Having a great name made it a little more likely that they clicked on it in order to learn more. From there, Ves could employ many other methods in order to increase his sales.

By mentioning blood, Ves was obliged to incorporate its color to his mech. He did it in an understated way by coating the Young Blood in a plain metallic color which was traditional to knights. He merely sneaked in a subtle reflective sheen in red.

In order to break up the monotonous appearance, Ves added golden decorative streaks around the torso. He was careful not to overdo it. The only part he spent more effort on was the variant's large, round shield. He painted a stylized lotus flower in yellow onto its surface.

Why a lotus? Ves imagined the Instructor loved to watch over the lotus flowers in the imperial palace's gardens. The flower stood for serenity, which might be a strange thing to include onto a shield meant to bash enemy mechs. Ves merely wanted to add something that looked good. The meaning wasn't important.

With this addition, Ves picked two different locations to include a Festive Cloud Generator. He attached a small-sized module to the shield. After rearranging its rim, Ves programmed the shield to emit a large quantity of yellow smoke whenever the Young Blood enhanced its shield bash.

By limiting the emission to the moment of impact, Ves was able to drastically reduce the size of the additional module. He did not want to go through another round of testing and simulation in order to properly integrate the generator.

He also installed a pair of cloud generators in the legs. Just like the shield, the generators only activated when the mech was about to perform a burst dash. He dyed the smoke in red this time in order to give his mech an impressive streak from behind.

After finishing the aesthetics of his design, Ves finally put down all of his work. "It's time to face the piper. Go ahead, System. Hit me with your report."

Overall evaluation: The Young Blood is an affordable variant that retains much of its durability while benefiting from increased flexibility. A comprehensive rework of all of its systems has raised many of its parameters. A largely coherent thread of X-Factor suffuses the entire design. This is all the more impressive when the inspiration to the X-Factor consists of a single mech designer's idle fantasy.

"Yes!" Ves rose from his chair. "I succeeded! My X-Factor has reached a score of C!"

Though it fell short of the C+ that Ves had reached with the Marc Antony and the Unicorn, those mechs came about in very special circumstances. It wasn't easy for Ves to feel all fired up. He was content with finding the way to reach the range of Cs when working on routine designs.

The relatively high score also validated his assumption that the X-Factor was not limited to physical constraints. At least, up to this point. Ves still consciously limited his imagination to myths that were larger than men, but less than gods.

"I don't want to find out what will happen if I take the old Christian God as my inspiration. I really don't want to open that particular can of worms."

Ves also achieved a twenty percent performance improvement without making use of expensive gadgets. He only brought in a ready-made sword to replace the spear. This was an incredible milestone, and one that Ves expected to surpass in the future.

The 600 DP reward came at a very nice time. The three weeks of slogging and maintaining his focus handsomely paid off. Ves only lamented that he was only a couple of DP short of reaching 2000 DP.

"Come on System, don't be such a tease. I deserve a treat!"

[Two-thirds of your design's improvements is attributed to updating an outdated mech with modern techniques. The performance increase that can be traced to your own original solutions is significantly smaller. Remember, you must study hard, but the only way to reach the pinnacle is to walk your own road.]

He bent over his head in defeat. The System was heartless as ever. "It's true that I copied and pasted from many other sources. I shouldn't be too proud with my design."

After regaining some of his mood, he logged into Iron Spirit. Ves imported the design to Iron Spirit and started fabricating a copy in the game's virtual workshop. Due to his extensive familiarity with his own design, Ves had no trouble with building up the virtual mech, even while maintaining his concentration.

He imagined bringing an incarnation of the Instructor to life. "How will he react to coming into life in a virtual game simulation? Will he be happy to experience new things? Will be be sad that he will give up control over his own body? Perhaps he might find joy in guiding the young and eager pilots who enter his cockpit."

Unlike his previous inspirations, the Instructor was his sole creation. He became invested in its myth to the point of treating it like a living person.

For a time, the line between reality and fantasy seemed blurred.

Only when Ves finally finished the fabrication process did he wake from his fugue. "That's a little weird. What was I thinking?"

He spent less time fabricating the mech than he thought. It only took a full day instead of the two days he originally budgeted. Despite the expedited process, the game did not detect any faults when Ves finalized its build.

He didn't forget to add a gold label inside the cockpit before he did so. He configured the design settings so that it would turn into silver when he let Iron Spirit sell a duplicated copy of the variant. Ves did not want the gold label to proliferate too much.

Ves entered the market interface and set the prices to both the gold label and silver label mechs. Different from last time, he did not use the minimum possible floor price but instead added a small profit margin to both products.

It didn't matter to the gold label because only one existed, but it represented a fairly different positioning to the silver label mechs.

Basically, Ves thought his Young Blood was good enough to deserve such a price. It also made more sense to charge this much. If he continued to hold on to bargain bin pricing, then his customers would subconsciously assume his mechs only performed as good as all the other trash mechs in this price segment.

He still wanted to earn as much DP as possible. That hadn't changed at all. Ves merely followed good business sense by managing the perception of his products.

Just as he was about to release his variant to the virtual market, he paused.

"This isn't a casual product. This is my first public design since coming back from Leemar. There should be some fanfare involved with the debut of this design."

Ves turned away from the market interface and instead pulled up his comm. He placed a call to his mech broker.

"Ves?" Marcella yawned as she looked up from her digital paperwork. "Have you finished the rework?"

"No, I haven't started yet on updating the Marc Antony. I'm calling you because I want your help in publicizing my latest virtual design."

Ves sent over the Young Blood's spec sheet along with some other data. He briefly explained why he spent time on a virtual design to begin with. Of course, he only limited his reasons to familiarizing himself with the knight archetype and to follow the current market trend for practice mechs.

Marcella did not need to know about his need to earn Design Points.

"I see. While it isn't conventional, I can see how we can spin it in a positive direction. However, you should be aware that marketing your variant comes at a significant cost."

"How much? Give me an estimate, please."

The woman tapped her finger against her firm lips. "For a knight variant with this level of performance, it's best if you hold a local advertising campaign. You don't have the specs to attract a lot of customers outside the Republic. The only thing you have going for is sympathy for local entrepreneurs."

"How much?" Ves repeated, feeling a bit uneasy with the way Marcella prefaced her explanation.

"The short answer? Around twenty million credits for a week-long exposure campaign in Bentheim. Anything less will only get drowned by the bulk of other messages floating constantly in the air."

One week just to push out the name of his variant? "No. Can't you offer anything cheaper?"

"Well, you can also make use of Iron Spirit's internal advertising channels. Again, if you want to penetrate past the noise, you will need to put up a significant upfront investment, say five million credits a day."

No wonder Ves achieved nothing the last time he used the game's internal advertising function. He might as well be throwing money into an ocean.

"Ahem, if you aren't aware, my earnings won't be very much even if I sell thousands of virtual mechs." Ves patiently explained. "To say nothing of earning useless ingame gold currency. I don't see any reason why I should spend millions of credits on some overblown ads that will only last a week at most."

Marcella shrugged, as if she didn't care. "Advertising works a lot better than you think, but I can understand your reluctance. Considering your current finances, it's better if you hold off on any mass marketing."

"Do you have a more affordable alternative? I only need to put the word out for my design. It doesn't need to be anything fancy."

The mech broker paused for a bit. Her eyes brightened as she found a good solution. "I got it! You're a newsworthy mech designer, you know that? Do you know what that means? The news sites want to interview you!"

Ves hadn't thought of that at all. She had a point. As one of the three extremely rare winners of the Leemar Open Competition, the Republic should be curious about his story.

"Alright, that's a good idea, and also costs nothing on my end. I don't know the best news organizations, so can you arrange a couple of interviews on my behalf?"

"I can do that easily, but it's best you only pick one venue to do your interview. These news sites are rather attached to exclusivity. It's the only way they can one-up the competition. In exchange, the news sites will push the interview to a more prominent place on their pages and broadcasts."

Since Ves had no clue how the news industry worked, he followed her recommendation. She had never steered him wrong so far. "Alright Marcella. Let's go with an exclusive if you think that's best. Right now, I mainly want to establish my brand."

"I'll go make some calls and come back to you within a day. Goodbye!"

Humanity has conquered half the galaxy and the Age of Mechs reigns supreme!

Ves Larkinson lacked the genetic aptitude to become a famed mech pilot. Fighting against his fate, he studied mech design in order to express his love for mechs as a builder instead of a soldier.

When Ves graduated from college, he returned to a new but empty boutique. Left with a small, newly founded mech workshop that his father painstakingly built with a mountain of debt, Ves somehow needs to make ends meet with the bank breathing down his neck.

In the midst of his despair, he found salvation from another legacy his father had left.

The disappearance of the future heir of the Eastern Nings created quite a stir in the Eastern Reaches, which sent the region into turmoil. Still, Bo Wen's disappearance hadn't made the slightest splash in the entire Heavenly Federation. Not only wasn't it the most important news there, it wasn't even the most important news in the Eastern Reaches. A poll would show the most newsworthy event having been from Eastern Shang-Wei City, which had just undergone the turmoil of war. That bit of news was very simple. The rather well-known, low-grade fantasy card club in Eastern Shang Wei City had launched their new product—a fantasy card receiver.
That kind of so-called fantasy card receiver had proliferated across the entire Heavenly Federation with astonishing speed as soon as it was launched. Its composition wasn't very complicated. At its core was something like the card play generator, although it had undergone massive innovation. The illusions emitted didn't need to be processed by a card play emitter to be seen; they were transmitted by signal to the receiver. It wasn't like the communications card, in which a special information transmission line needed to be installed first. It was lower level, as were its costs, which naturally meant it was cheaper. It was quite popular after launch.
And, the little-known president of the low-grade fantasy card club had stunningly emerged as a huge producer. Within a very short time, he had united with several of the oligarchic clans of the Eastern Reaches to establish the first communications platform. At the same time, since the composition of the fantasy card receiver wasn't very complicated, the market was quickly flooded with copies. But, the low-grade fantasy card club took advantage of that decisive moment.
All kinds of communications platforms soon appeared like bamboo shoots after the rain. Even the government of the Heavenly Federation quickly realized how important such platforms were, and they immediately set up an official federation platform. Once launched, it shot to the top of the viewership.
After purchasing a fantasy card receiver and paying the platform a certain fee, one could watch all sorts of programs transmitted by the platform.
It only cost 500 Oudi for a fantasy card receiver plus only another 200 to install the cable, which was quite cheap for most residents.
The Low Fantasy Platform established by the low-grade fantasy card club was the most popular platform. Its most popular shows were serial releases of the card plays "Chance Encounter" and "The Legend of Master Shi." Those two card plays had drawn countless customers, nearly pulling the official Heavenly Federation platform from the top spot. They had become the second most-watched platform with the third lagging far behind. The outstanding business acumen of the magisterial president was easy to discern.
What had preserved the position of the official federation platform had been a different item of news, which could be called explosive.
It was the first time in history that news had been broadcast in real time, shattering the assumption that news would always be delayed. According to the statistics, there were more than 2 million watching. But, within only ten minutes, the numbers surged up to 30 million. According to the statistics, there were another 40 million or more who watched recordings of the news after the event.
The Gemini, the twin stars of the Desert Camp, had sought out Moon Frost Island of the Heavenly Drum District hand-in-hand!
Who knew where the official federation platform had gotten the information, but they had actually accompanied the Gemini to Moon Frost Island.
No wonder after people had heard the news, they all put aside what they were working on without exception and paid attention to it. The Desert Camp was one of the Big Six, and the card artisans who came from there were consistently swift and fierce fighters. No matter whether it was the federation armies, the oligarchic clans, or large-scale card artisan firms, they all looked quite fondly on the card artisans from the Desert Camp.

Moreover, any chance to see such battle aces as the Gemini was simply too rare to miss! Everyone was grateful to the unknown low-grade fantasy card club president. The first moment the Gemini set foot on Moon Frost Island, all the recording apparatus were focused on them.
The arrogance of the Gemini was met with an uncontrollable chill from the students of Moon Frost Island, which immediately created a conflict.
Among the crowds watching in front of their fantasy card receivers, some were even shaking their fists uncontrollably, yelling, "Fight! Start the fight!"
The card artisan from Desert Camp was known for his fiery temperament, and the Moon Frost Island students were just as partisan. At that moment, Mars collided with Earth.
The Gemini were the first to make a move, naturally without any pleasantries. The ensuing battle went immediately fierce with the power of the Gemini finally on display. The one fighting was one of the pair, Su Wei, who had defeated ten people in a row! Not to be defeated, the student ace from Moon Frost Island mounted a series of attacks, though they were too weak in the face of Su Wei's power. He took the victory.
The faces of the students from Moon Frost Island went as cold as ice, that having been the biggest humiliation in the history of the school. And, it had played out live in front of them, which left the youth's blood boiling and all of them gritting their teeth.
Just when everyone assumed Moon Frost Island had been humiliated by the Gemini, a young woman swooped in.
The young woman covered in white had an ice-cold expression, flesh-like jade that could be shattered with a musical note, and a tall hair style from ancient times. She looked like a goddess who had flown out from an ancient painting!
It was that young, frosty looking woman who picked up the fight with the Gemini. The two of them fought fiercely for nearly ten minutes with Su Wei finally suffering the loss. Just as the crowd was worried that Su Hu was about to take advantage of the goddess-like beauty's challenge, Su Hu gathered up the wounded Su Wei without a word and swept off after a respectful nod.
That frosty, young woman who had appeared out of the blue immediately captivated the residents of the federation, becoming the idol of countless people. Because of the young woman, who hadn't even uttered a word, there were already quite a few young people pledging to sign up for the exam at Moon Frost Island.
The originally subdued Moon Frost Island then entered everyone's field of view. Everyone found out just how unfathomable the Big Six were. Just then, Moon Frost Island had the top young ace when it had normally been considered off in a corner by itself.
The excitement built on itself, and those looking for a way in were polishing their resumes.
It would have been a joke to say the performance of the Gemini didn't have the backing of the Desert Camp. But, the Big Six had always been restrained among themselves. Everyone carefully preserved the peace, so how could Desert Camp want to disturb it or do something in secret?
What happened afterward exceeded anyone's expectations and made things abruptly jittery.
Along the way back to Desert Camp, the Gemini were ambushed, and Su Wei was killed on the spot. Su Hu broke away with heavy wounds.
The affair made a lot of waves in the federation. Desert Camp was immediately pointing the finger at Moon Frost Island, which protested vociferously that the matter had nothing to do with them. They even wanted to assist the local garrison to conduct their investigation.
No matter what, relations between Desert Camp and Moon Frost Island had become frosty.
Sensitive people could already smell the agitation in the atmosphere.

During that time, Chen Mu had just led the remainder of the Moqi line to complete its migration. Although the city below was dilapidated beyond endurance, it was a lot more secure than the crude valley, which didn't add up to much. The elevator to the surface and the air circulation system had been repaired thanks to Chen Mu. Those empty rooms in the base, which weren't good for more than living in, held seven or eight children each.
Having been so terrified outside for so long, the young people were full of hope for the future. It was good to be living someplace out of the wind and rain where they didn't have to worry about the wild beasts.
Chen Mu cautiously slid a card into the card slot of the apparatus in front of him, which made a light sound as the green lights lit up. That finally calmed his nervous mind.
"The energy system has been restored to five percent," the emotionless voice of the system said.
Wiping the sweat from his brow, Chen Mu asked, "How much is five percent?"
"Power to live in the base." The system's response was as sparse as could be.
Chen Mu looked resigned, having pulled out all the energy on hand while also making his highest-level repair to the system. It was still at only five percent of the base's customary operation. Well, five percent was five percent. If it was sufficient for everyone to live, then it would have to do.
The energy mine could be slowly exploited, and with machinery being produced incessantly, it would be able to supply more power in the future.
"Teacher, teacher!" Alfonso called excitedly from the distance.
Chen Mu looked around and saw Alfonso wildly waving his hand at him. Could he have made some new discovery?
Chen Mu walked over and asked, "What's up?"
"I've found something good," Alfonso said with exaggerated mysteriousness.
"What good thing?"
"Come with me." Alfonso hurriedly led the way.
Alfonso took Chen Mu in the direction of the warehouse. Every level of the base was pretty independent, and each would have a warehouse. The first level was no different. So they could move in a little sooner, he hadn't taken any opportunity to go exploring around the first level. He had been busy repairing the backup system and the air circulation system. Even though it was only one level, it covered a huge area and was filled with all kinds of weird installations.
Pushing open the door of the number 12 warehouse, a pungent, rotten smell came out from it. Taking a look, the air circulation system had already started up, though it would take a while for the turbid air inside to clear out. There were all sorts of miscellaneous things that had been corroded beyond recognition.
Alfonso's expression hadn't changed at all, seeming to have become used to that kind of air.
Chen Mu went with Alfonso into a corner. Alfonso's expression became excited, and he pointed toward some object covered in dust, saying, "That's it!"

This energy comes from the body after being upgraded enough with a mix of training and meditation. Used to enhance body function to the utmost limit, Master of it can create god-like feat (Ex: Temporary cutting the sea in two), It's used with special Martial/Trick Art to create elemental attacks. 
It help slowing the aging process making some user live up to 200+ year old, no one know if it can go higher. 
It react strongly with mana to the point of explosion.

A power found in the air and released by the Dragon Vein (Cemetery of Dragon). At first only used by the Dragon and their descendant (Draconian, Wyvern, etc...), it slowly began to be released in the world after the corpse of dragon started to decay. Mostly used by Caster type fighter, this energy is absorbed inside the body and stocked inside the heart slowly modifying it to become a mana generator similar to the dragon heart.
The heart and vein become a highly durable crystalline material after the complete transformation into a mana generator.

It react strongly with Vitality to the point of explosion.

The claw are naturally strong enough to cut through steel and if infused with spirit energy can cut most materials depending of the output of Spirit energy put in them.
War-beast transformation is a power given by Star type spirit.

A power used by those pure in soul and body, only available by making a pact with the Nature itself to protect either a part of it (Orthodox Druid) or all of it should the Druid see a part of it endangered (Unorthodox Wanderer Warrior Druid).
The Druid possess the ability to transform into any animal they have an affinity with.
If the affinity is high enough they can transform into spirit animal.
Druid don't need to chant as long as they are close to Nature (Tree, animals, insect, etc...) they can simply ask for help and the nature around them will help.
Druid can use Elemental type of magic but most of them refrain of doing to not destroy the nature around them, most the unorthodox type use it since they are not always in contact with Nature.

Flower Release (花遁, Hanaton, Viz: Blooming) is a nature transformation kekkei genkai, a combination of yang and earth. There are no known cases of this kekkai genkai naturally occurring in any shinobi outside the Hanako clan. This nature transformation appears to be restrictive to simple flowers to the unknowing, often being confused with Flower Ninja Art, but in actuality Flower Release covers all types of plants so long as they go through a flowering stage - which is 90% of all known plant life. Flower Release encompasses trees (such as cherry blossoms), bushes/shrubs (such as roses and holly), vines (such as the thorny bougainvillea) and succulents (such as cacti). The main real restriction to Flower Release is due to climate. If the plant is not native to the environment it is manifesting in, the user will have to use more chakra than the usual requirement to make up for the difference.

Some people may have seen some of my dropped, before they even began, novel the cause of this is that I have absolutely no talent in writing and lose the will to write after writing and rewriting again and again the first chapter so from now on I will simply put my random idea here.

She captures the hearts of a Prince or king as well as a duke or grand duke which in time turns into the villain because of his love for the fl and gets killed by the prince which became king making the girl a queen.... Happily ever after. " I can recite the whole thing if I can. There's a lot of distinct types. The transmigratory type, or reinacrnation type, the Otome type, the reverse-harem type, and etc.

"Oh not only that, It's all in here." Oh... The worst one, where everything and anything is just jammed pack. I just hope that I don't get to be the villainess. 

"You'll be a side-character named Elizabeth Moore, a Marquess's  daughter, she's not really a character in here but was mentioned once during the annual ball. A: To my most active patron, I do not have an editor. My process is to write the chapter (usually 3 chapters at a time) and then to read them through immediately before I upload the official chapter on WN and RR. The chapter where Noone jumps (17), the chapters where Noone returns to a desolated Tapestry, and chapters 76 and 90 specifically.

A: So some of the answer is too spoilery to explain right now, but to answer as best as I can… Noone's race (the race of Tapestry) was once human. But they spent so long underground and influenced by their inheritance that they evolved to be something different entirely while the outside world passed them by.
(The original character of Noone I made was for a dnd campaign years ago, and his design (as well as the design of the people of Tapestry) are heavily influenced by the "Earth Genasi" race in 5e)

          A strange creature is floating in the colorless space. This creature has the appearance of an eyeball, but its similarity with an eyeball stops here. Most of the creature's metallic black surface is covered by glowing circuitry lines that merge into its neon blue iris, and the color of this creature's iris is the same as the color of those circuitry lines. This creature has a light yellow pupil in the center of its iris, which is blinking in a steady interval.
          At first glance, this creature seems like a nightmarish creature that comes out of a sci-fi movie, but this creature is actually the supreme being in [Fictional Realm]. This creature is called [Administrator] and its purpose is to manage the circulation of [resource] that keeps the [Fictional Realm] stable and existing indefinitely.
          [Fictional Realm] is the name of a metaphysical realm made from mankind's collective subconscious thoughts and their beliefs about fiction. It is both illusory and reality, existing as both matter and dream.
          As the manager of the [Fictional Realm], [Administrator] dwells in the centermost of this imaginary universe. Although it never left its dwelling, [Administrator] always knows what happens in [Fictional Realm] because it is omniscient. And with [Administrator]'s authority in this imaginary universe, [Administrator] is also omnipotent. Of course, [Administrator]'s power is limited to this imaginary universe alone.
          With that, [Administrator] is an existence akin to God. No... [Administrator] is the God of this imaginary universe. It is the absolute supreme being above all overpowered fictional characters that were ever being created by mankind's ideas. And despite [Administrator]'s power is absolute, it doesn't mean [Administrator] is without an equal, and truth be told, there exists a threat against its existence…
          The natural counter of [Fictional Realm] and [Administrator] — created by the jaded thought and realistic outlook of mankind who was disillusioned by their harsh reality, an existence called [Oblivion] is the natural counter of [Fictional Realm]. Although they were made from the collective subconscious of mankind, which means they share a similar origin, [Oblivion] has an advantage against [Fictional Realm] and [Administrator] because of its conceptual nature — [Oblivion] exists only to erase the [Fictional Realm], a nature that presented a gross disadvantage for [Administrator] and its imaginary universe that wants to preserve their existence.
          [Administrator] has tried countless attempts to fight off the advance of [Oblivion], and yet all [Administrator]'s attempts met with utter failure. [Administrator] has sent off the strongest characters — heroes, antiheroes, and villains — from each fictional world within [Fictional Realm], but those characters ended up as insignificant nuisances against the [Oblivion], which devoured them in the blink of an eye.
          Like throwing countless eggs on the boulder's hard surface, those eggs cannot harm the boulder. Maybe, the more apt metaphor is, like throwing pebbles into an ocean. And it was nothing but a waste of resources that could be used for better things.
          Although those characters were powerful, they lacked something that could affect the [Oblivion]. And that something is the [Will of Mankind] from [Reality].
          Coming to that conclusion, [Administrator] had an idea: "What if I summon someone from [Reality]?"
          Since [Fictional Realm] and [Oblivion] were made from humanity's collective subconscious, a person from [Reality] is surely the answer for [Administrator]'s dilemma. But summoning someone from [Reality] is something easier said than done! Although [Administrator] is peerless in the scope of [Fictional Realm], [Administrator] is only peerless in this imaginary universe and cannot summon a person from [Reality] through conventional means that often happened in Portal Fantasy stories. As an aside, [Administrator] intimately knows the concept of Hero Summoning from many worlds within this imaginary universe. After all, all fictional ideas that were thought out by mankind existed in this imaginary universe. And 'Portal Fantasy' is a well-known genre of fiction. There are countless worlds wherein that kind of phenomenon happened.
          Be that as it may, [Administrator] can still summon someone from [Reality], but not through the conventional means that normally happened in those 'Portal Fantasy'-based worlds. Because of the nature of [Fictional Realm], [Administrator] cannot summon this person's physical body. Only this person's ego can be summoned to [Fictional Realm].
          Furthermore, summoning the ego of a person from [Reality] is an arduous and costly endeavor. [Administrator] needs to sacrifice an exorbitant amount of the [resources] generated by mankind's subconscious thoughts and beliefs. And lately, this [resource] is very scarce and enough to maintain the continuity of the [Fictional Realm] while slowing down the progress of [Oblivion].
          It is clear that [Fictional Realm] is currently in a precarious situation.
          The reason behind this [resource] deficiency is, as time progressed in [Reality], mankind collectively become stagnant and lazy because of the convenience of the modern era. They have stopped producing substantial ideas and beliefs, lacking inspiration and imagination, which are important to generate enough [resource] to sustain the [Fictional Realm]. And so, [Administrator] experienced [resource] deficiency. Still, with the mechanical precision in management, [Administrator] was able to save up the extra [resource] for an emergency. It is unclear if its savings are enough to fuel the summoning. [Administrator] has never done this, after all. There is a chance it doesn't have enough energy.
          "Regardless, I shall do it!" The desperate [Administrator] decided.
          And so, [Administrator] consumed its saved [resource] and opened a connection to the collective subconscious of mankind. And just by doing that alone has taken almost the entirety of [Administrator]'s savings, but [Administrator] soon discovers its saved [resource] isn't enough to pull someone's ego from [Reality] to the [Fictional Realm].
          "Should the energy for keeping my realm stable be used for this?" [Administrator] asked and started weighing its decision.
          If [Administrator] uses up its stored energy that must be circulated in [Fictional Realm], countless worlds will cease to exist at once. And without those worlds to slow down [Oblivion], that conceptual calamity will quickly and easily get closer to [Administrator]'s location in the centermost of the [Fictional Realm]. However, if its plan succeeds, it can stop the advance of its archenemy indefinitely.
          It is a dangerous gamble. [Oblivion] will claim it if [Administrator] makes a mistake, but it can also prolong [Fictional Realm] existence if it succeeds!
          After finding its resolve, [Administrator] discovers another problem, it can't just take anyone from [Reality]! It can't summon someone charismatic that can sway the masses, which is the kind of person [Administrator] needs the most! A person with the power to move the masses has an important connection with the collective subconscious of mankind. Someone like that has overabundant resources to fight off the [Oblivion], as well as maintaining the expenditure of [Fictional Realm]. However, that kind of person is very important in the [Reality], and [Administrator] cannot take that kind of person away from [Reality]...
          Well, truth be told, [Administrator] can summon someone like that, but it will cease to exist because of converting its existence into the required [resource] to summon such a person. In the end, [Administrator] narrowed down the list of candidates it could summon without endangering its existence...
          Somehow, all the candidates it can summon are Otaku or Weeaboo that aren't significant in [Reality]. And truth be told, [Administrator] doesn't mind that kind of people because they suit its needs. Being mindful of its expendable [resource], [Administrator] selects the candidates with the cheapest [resource] to summon them.
          From here, the candidates are Otaku and Weeaboo who don't mind getting summoned to another world — people who are delusional and dreamer — they know that being summoned to another world is something that only happens in fiction but they still wish to get the opportunity to experience that. They are people without family or significant others to tie them down in [Reality]. And they consider their life is too difficult, and they yearn to have a superpower to make their life more easy and convenient. These kinds of people are surprisingly many. And so, [Administrator] summons one randomly.
          After pulling the ego of this person, [Administrator] discovers that its connection to the subconscious of mankind has been cut off. Perhaps, it is the instinct of mankind's subconscious to protect themselves. That aside, this happening presents a bigger problem for [Administrator]. Since [Fictional Realm] was cut off from the [Reality], it wouldn't receive the [resource] to maintain the existence of [Fictional Realm]. 
          [Administrator]'s regret is bottomless, but it can do nothing about it. At least, [Administrator] has someone from [Reality] that can become a constant resource generator for [Fictional Realm]. Well, [Administrator] only grasped a lifeline here. Nevertheless, [Administrator] achieved what it sought out even though [Fictional Realm] and [Administrator] is in a pinch now.
          Putting aside its regret and other irrelevant thoughts, [Administrator] begins experimenting with this person. After some time, [Administrator]'s experiments met mixed results. [Administrator] could turn this person into the generator of [resource] to replace its cut off supply from the collective subconscious of mankind. However, the resources it gained was very limited, even below the standard of a single person's worth of resource it could gain from the collective subconscious of mankind.
          However, it couldn't be helped since this person is only a mediocre person, and this person was under outside influence to stimulate his willpower. No matter, what is important is [Administrator] has realized it could cultivate this person to produce more [resource] for [Fictional Realm].
          Other than that, [Administrator] discovered that the 'something' it needs to fight off [Oblivion] can be produced by this person. However, [Administrator] cannot reproduce this 'something' because the production of this 'something' is according to this person's desire and willpower.
          Because of that, [Administrator] is helpless. It cannot just force this person to generate this... All right, let's call this 'something' as a 'vaccine' to fight off [Oblivion]. Although it has absolute omnipotence and omniscience, its power only affects this imaginary universe, and since this person came from [Reality], he is beyond [Administrator] capability to directly exploit him.
          "Was that Mankind's Free Will? Mankind is an amazing creature." Although [Administrator] cannot directly exploit this person's will, it is still feeling amazed by this human.
          After some moments, [Administrator] puts aside its amazement to this human and focuses on the more important thing, "The best method to cultivate this person's willpower is the reward and punishment method. It can also make him cooperative, I suppose. All right, I shall prepare the tool to help this person's cultivation. First, I shall prepare a system that will help cultivate his willpower and make him cooperative to my cause..."
          There are many fictional worlds within [Fictional Realm] with the protagonist — also called the World's Chosen One or Fate's Chew Toy  —  possessing a system. Using one of those systems as the template is an easy thing to do. After tailoring a system, it is the time to pick out a world to transmigrate the ego of this person, and [Administrator] picks out a world it thinks this person will like to be in. Then, it sends the ego of this person to inhabits its new body.
          Afterward, [Administrator] only needs to wait for this person's development...

Reincarnated in the world of anime, acquiring a system, having no responsibility other than thinning out the ever-present 'monsters', getting the opportunity to become powerful and travel to other fictional worlds, and can do anything you wish... even if you want to make all pretty woman yours, conquer or destroy worlds, and other crazy stuff...

Are those things worthy of being a slave in all but name for a higher being for eternity?
