This is an Exodus Novel, the third in the series.  This particular story is stand-alone and can be read by itself. This should be considered a fantasy story rather than a video game, many of the gameplay elements have been removed as part of the plot.

Exploring Some Exodus And Destiny

As MoonRay was plotting the course and, well, checking that we didn't crash into a fucking planet or asteroid, I was currently in the pilot seat staring into the air.
'Now that I am here, I realise that I miscalculated a little. From my memories, it seems things are a little different from what they were in the game. This being an actual real universe 'I' changed some parts of the campaign. First and most important: Cayde is alive! Yeah, so, I got to him on time. He was still shot and lost his Ghost, but I managed to preserve his mind. All I needed to do after that was to build a new body for him and voila Cayde-6 v.2. Maybe I should say Cayde-7. Good thing I preserved his entire being, personality, memory and all. His Ghost was lost and I could do nothing about it. Either way, onto the next point: I fucked up. 
I wanted an exciting adventure so I chose this universe, but in order to 'spawn in' in a safe environment I decided to regain control of this body after the story. I did experience everything but it was like watching a movie through my memories. A damn good movie and it was still very exciting, but now I am either left with lazing around or killing low-level mobs that still plague the solar system. I should have asked to be sent after Destiny 1. While the options are few, that is limited to this universe. And I am NOT limited to this universe. We are currently experiencing peace and post-war reconstruction, so the Vanguard is more lenient about the Guardians' activities. This leaves me with two possibilities of which only one is viable: inventing some lame ass excuse, or a decent one (depends on what I can come up with), and jumping to another universe, hopefully something nice.'
Reaching a conclusion and formulating a plan, I talked with MoonRay: "Hey, MoonRay. Do you remember all of those Exodus missions? We encountered Exodus Black on Nessus."
"Yeah, there was also Exodus Green, I think, that led to the Awoken and all that super complicated stuff. Do you want to know about a specific mission?" MoonRay responded, already knowing where I was going with that question. 
"Exactly. Was there any mission leading outside the Solar system? Maybe another galaxy?" I asked, already seeing a possible excuse to leave this universe temporarily.
"There were some. From the records we know that most were destroyed, but there are a couple that were never heard of again. Do you want to go and 'search' for them?" 
"Oh, MoonRay, you know me so well. I am touched! And, yes, we will go and 'search' for these Exodus program 'survivors'." faking a little tear, I began finalising this plan. 'Ok, excuse secured. Now I need to convince the vanguard. Theoretically, I am a warlock, so Ikora is my representative. She should agree as this is a good chance to scout the rest of the universe's threats. Plus knowledge, so yeah. If needed, Cayde wouldn't be too hard to convince. Although I would like to bring him with me I can't. We need to be on the same ship as my wish was to be able to jump universes with my ship. Asking another Guardian to ride on the same ship would be too suspicious. Lastly, Zavala. If he does not agree with Ikora I will have to slap him with my results as a Guardian and convince him that nothing would happen and will be beneficial. Now that I think about it, the Universe Jump Drive (UJD) on the ship distorts space to look like an anomaly. I can attribute my long absence to this 'anomaly' and do whatever the fuck I want.' I thought, getting sidetracked by the new gimmick on the ship, 'This leaves me with preparations. My body does not need food, as it uses the Light as an energy source and I am quite literally a Light generator. The ship and sparrow do not need fuel, so that is fine. I do not need repairs as everything is in perfect condition. I might want to stock up on ammo, even though I can just create the materials and then make it myself. This leaves me with getting myself used to my abilities.'
"MoonRay, I have a pretty good idea about what to do. The ship is in perfect condition, my equipment as well. Everything I will actually use is virtually indestructible thanks to Xad'el's slip-up, and I do not need food or energy. We will do a quick stop at the Tower, get the green light for our 'mission', get some ammo just in case I can't craft it myself, spend a day so that I can do some tests, and then get the fuck out of this boring universe. Now that I have knowledge on space folding, ascendant realms, and dimensional jump devices I can make an interdimensional communicator and a 'waypoint' so that we can always return here. I also want to make some adjustments to the ship and sparrow." Tula communicated to his partner.
"Sure, I'll leave the ship in the hangar. We will leave tomorrow. you should also get some other supplies. It would be strange for a Guardian to go on probably the longest mission to date without a lot of stuff." She answered.
"Good point. How much time till Earth?"
"53 minutes remaining." MoonRay stated.

After exactly 48 minutes, the ship arrived near Earth, then slowed down, reaching the Tower in a few more minutes.
Being trasmated was a new yet familiar experience, as I remember the numerous times 'I' was trasmated yet never experienced it myself. After a few milliseconds to  regain my composure, I went through my usual 'Tower routine': checked the Postmaster for any communication or news I missed, went to Banshee-44 to get my gear serviced, bought some supplies I 'needed' and a lot of ammo of all kinds, then went to Ikora. 
Once I reached Ikora, I explained to her my mission, stating that it would be mainly a recon mission, potentially a rescue mission if the survivors were found. Convincing her took some time but she relented in the end, saying to not overdo it 'as usual'. 
'Nice, I don't even need the other representatives' OK. Now, onwards to my provisional quarters. I will do some tests there.'

On my way to the quarters, I passed through the 'plaza'. There, I decided to go onto the higher level to look at the scenery.
'Man… This was pretty well done in the game but now… Now it's on a completely new level. I must take a photo.' 
With that thought, I quickly saved this view in my memory. Perks of being an Exo. I then continued to make my way to the lower levels of the Tower. There were quarters for thousands of people, if one person took one room each. Once I reached the quarter with the code 'TA-28', MoonRay opened the door. All of my fireteam was currently on solo infiltration missions. I usually coordinated with 5 other great Guardians, so we basically reserved an entire floor of the Tower as our HQ. Zavala kinda wanted to protest, but clearing a few sectors of enemies in a single day shut him up. Contrary to what happened in the game, missions take a long time to complete, in particular infiltration, defense, and scouting missions. They can possibly take days up to years in some extreme cases.
'Getting lost in thought. I should send the others a communication before going away.'
With that thought, I entered my quarters, ready to experiment a little to prepare for my first trip.

You know, I wanted to try this at least once. 
Note to anyone who actually got to this thing: I decided to write this thing after thinking about it for like 10 minutes. I wrote this just to try and it is a very rough draft. I literally wrote the first ten chapters today (well, the day I uploaded them).

Anyway, guy dies, gets a wish, gets reincarnated in the Destiny (the game, you know, Bungie and all that stuff) universe, travels to other fictional universes.

I wish I owned any of the stuff I am writing about. But I don't. So don't sue me. Please.

At the Endless Volcanoes.
The revived Hundred Bandit Team stood guard angrily at their original spots. Although being killed by the volcano eruption right after the appearance of the Lone Wolf trio, they did not make the connection between the two incidents.
How could three people alone make a volcano erupt? It would be crazy if someone told them so! Only fools would believe that!
"Continue guarding! Leader's coming out at any time!" cried Violent Fate. All the bandits listened up and prepared themselves. Just when they were about to get back into their formation, a gigantic space spiral appeared before their eyes!
"Whoosh—"
Along with a great wind, a broken-winged Bone Dragon flew out!
Lin Jie leaned on the Exodus Bone Dragon's back. Compared to lying on his stomach on its back and holding on to its bones for support, it would definitely be much suaver if he could stand up on its head. However, the Exodus Bone Dragon was, after all, not in a contract with him—it was just temporarily under his control. If Lin Jie really dared to stand up on its head, he most probably would be blown off within minutes.
As the Bone Dragon was carrying too many items, Lin Jie had no intentions of killing all these people again. He just wanted to get back to the City of Light and store away these treasures as fast as possible!
A few hours after Lin Jie left, a space spiral appeared in the sky above again! A bloody dragon head stuck out from the space spiral, and it roared unwillingly towards the far end of the sky! This was the Vicious Black Dragon Moratti's head!
"Your mission's completed. Go back and wait for further notice!" Eighteen Massacres' voice was heard from above the dragon head. He stood up coldly on its head and held onto a blood-red rib bone in his hands.

Just imagine: how would one feel if he was attacked by dropping bombs from an airborne bomber when he was just strolling casually along the streets?
Perhaps fear? Maybe report it to the police? Or run away immediately?
Most probably he would do a combination of the above-mentioned actions.
This was what our dear Mr. Lin Jie was experiencing now—except that he wasn't the innocent passersby strolling on the streets. 
He was the bomber.
It was needless to mention how the Guild of Light NPCs would react to the action of riding a Bone Dragon openly in the air. They were extremely hard on such kinds of Flying Undead Creatures, and their rule was this: kill them all! The situation only changed after a few years into the game when the 'Prevention of Flying Undead Creatures Act' was put into practice by the Guild.
This was because the game creators reasoned with themselves that sooner or later, there would definitely be players who could strike up contracts with Undead Mounts successfully. As such, the system must protect the players from being attacked by the NPCs. The Holy Church then rolled out this Prevention of Flying Undead Creatures Act, which decreed that 'First-time offenders will be given a warning; second-time offenders will be put in jail; third-time offenders will be killed immediately.'
For now, every time Lin Jie flew past a village or a city, all the sirens would be sounded, and everyone would start to escape for their lives! The system made announcement after announcement, just like the times when sieges were conducted! These announcements were like a running giant who was advancing towards the City of Light!

"Little Jie, I have made the necessary arrangements you required," said Zheng Ziliang in an excited voice. "I didn't believe it at first when you told me you didn't die, but now I finally believed it after seeing all the system announcements! However you need to be careful, the Guild of Light had sent out its entire army to fend the Exodus Bone Dragon off. The Holy Church sent out two Angels, and the Imperial Armed Forces even sent out their precious Superior Ballista Division. You seemed to be challenging the heavens!"
Lin Jie couldn't decide if he should laugh or cry when he received this news. In Lin Jie's previous life, when Undead Creatures enter the city, only a few Superior Hunters would be sent out to shoot them down. In this life, he was the first-ever player who dared to get an Undead Creature to enter the city! It was natural for anyone to be extremely cautious and put their guards up when they witnessed something dangerous happening for the first time, but for the Holy Church to send out Sub Legendary creatures like Angels, and the Empire to sent out a Superior Ballista Division which could only be ready after at least tens of years of training… They were definitely determined to blast him up!
However, Lin Jie had his own countermeasures against all these! He had arranged for large numbers of his own people in the City of Light to wait for his arrival. They just need to catch the dropping equipment from the sky and hand them over to the Provisions shop, and the Provisions shop would give them monetary rewards!
As the majority of these players did not have a great need for such high-quality items at this stage, Lin Jie believed that they would be satisfied by the monetary rewards the Provisions shop offered them.
Lin Jie was reaching the City of Light!
When the Exodus Bone Dragon approached the City of Light, the guards within the City of Light were all armed and prepared! Meanwhile, many players had gathered around, hoping to get some good hauls from this episode! Those who had missed the news of the Sub Legendary Thunder Silver Feathered Eagle being refreshed were all gathered at the scene now—after all, the system had made so many announcements within the City of Light. It was impossible to ignore them!
The dot from faraway gradually grew bigger, and an absurd-looking Bone Dragon appeared within the onlookers' field of vision! Its fleshless black wings looked petrifying, but its tummy which was being wrapped in Dragon Leather made it look comical… Nevertheless, all the onlookers still couldn't help but held their breaths when they saw its Legendary Boss title!
"The enemy has appeared!"
"Prepare the Magical Ballistas!"
"Angels, get ready!"
The whole City of Light was in trepidation! A Magical shelter was activated above the skies of the City of Light. Space Magic and Teleportation enchantments were was utilized to evacuate the city folks!

"Ang——" Lin Jie ordered the Bone Dragon to give out a warning roar as they neared the city gates! He could see his fellow Brothers who were waiting for his arrival below—Zheng Ziliang and the rest of the guys were in sight!
"Prepare the Ballista!" cried a stubbed Ballista Manager. Superior Ballista Managers were rare within the Guild. This was because explosions were easily caused during their training with the Ballista. As such, up to several ten thousand Middle-grade Ballista Managers would lose their lives during their leveling up process!
One could only become a Superior Ballista Manager after tens of years—the appearance of a single Superior Ballista Manager would mean the deaths of millions of Middle-grade Ballista Managers! They were thus precious warring resources and the only people who were allowed to use the intelligent weapons created by humans to kill their enemies—the Titans!
Superior-grade crystals and stones were loaded onto the Magical Ballista, and impactful shots were about to burst out from the Ballista's opening! The Ballista Manager controlled the Ballista, preventing sudden outbursts of energies. He aimed it at the Exodus Bone Dragon in the faraway, and… 
'Bomb!'
The Exodus Bone Dragon suffered a great blast! Two Angels wielding Flame Judgment Swords followed closely behind, and blade auras full of Flaming Holy Light slit by, causing numerous Damage of more than 100,000 points!
On the ground.
The crowded players raised their heads and looked depressively at the battle in the sky. 'What, why didn't the Boss bring its underlings when it was attacking the city? What can we do now then? Just watch the NPCs fight among yourselves?'
All those who had gathered here had wanted to make some gains from the battle with the Boss. What's the fun of just watching a battle?
"The system announcements were really deceiving, I rushed all the way here from the City of Elves just so that I may get some Legendary equipment. Yet now I feel like I am just watching a movie."
"Aye, that's considered okay already. I was just done with the foreplay with my girl and was about to start the real deal. Then someone called me and told me that a Legendary Boss was being refreshed in the game. Man, I was so shocked, and my d*ck went limp, wth…"
"I had skipped my shift just for this…"
A Warrior was recounting the miserable tales of how he had lost his job, lost his girlfriend and match-making opportunities and eventually lost his sex partners just to play in the game when his head was being hit. He grabbed hold of the item on his head and shouted furiously, "Which damned bastard is littering around? Do you have any sense of societal responsibility… Oh WTF! This is a Gold Helmet!"
"Dong—"
"Dong—"
All the players who were being hit on their heads examined the dropped items excitedly. They looked up into the sky and saw that the Dragon Leather, which was covering the Exodus Bone Dragon's body was smashed to pieces. Numerous equipment was falling from the sky, and dropped onto the players' heads!
"Oh, I got a 75% real leather! There's hope for my Level 25 Gold Leather Armor!"
"Ahahahaha! A Level 30 Gold Shield, with Block +10%! I am gonna get rich!"
"Oh, I want a girl, please drop me a girl…"
All the players who were too excited by their lucky gains did not notice that a person was holding on to a piece of rib bone of the Exodus Bone Dragon. He released his right hand finally, and dropped down from the sky!
At this moment, Zheng Ziliang opened his arms wide, waiting to catch some items. His eyes brightened up, and aiming for the largest item, he caught it accurately!
"WTH! What are you grabbing my breasts for?" Lin Jie's horrified shouts were heard. Zheng Ziliang had caught Lin Jie who was falling head-down from the sky, and he had instinctively pinched the 'soft breasts'—or so he thought—of the person he caught.
"Kacha——"
Unfortunately, this scene was being captured by a reporter's camera.
Zheng Ziliang's face dampened, and threw Lin Jie mercilessly onto the ground. He wailed loudly, "Oh god, my reputation's all ruined! It's all ruined now!"

Jiang Yingyue felt that she was suddenly hungry now that she was no longer worried about Han Qingshan's mood, and her eyes shone with excitement when she saw that it was sushi. 

Sushi was expensive, really expensive. It was something she could not afford very often, but around once a year she would cook it for her family. 

But bought sushi from famous restaurants was supposed to be heavenly, so when she saw that Song Liwei came in with sushi, her sorrows were all tossed to the back of her head, and she was excited. 

Seeing her happy little face, Han Qingshan could not help but chuckle as he shook his head. 

He was in a great mood right now. Not only had he understood that he was quite important in Jiang Yingyue's life, but he had also managed to convince her to live together with him in the future. 

Seeing that she was so happy to have sushi, Han Qingshan nodded approvingly to Song Liwei. He bought so many dishes that all three of them could eat together. 

Usually, Han Qingshan would not eat while working, he would be fully focused on the task at hand, but when he did eat, he would not usually eat with Song Liwei. However this one time, Song Liwei was invited to dine with them. 

Although he was incredibly honored and proud of being allowed to eat with them, he could not help but feel like he would become a massive light bulb and thus he quickly took a package of sushi and said, "I will eat with the secretary," before fleeing the room. 

Seeing Jiang Yingyue's perplexed expression, Han Qingshan snickered. Although he had invited Song Liwei to eat with them, he did, in fact, want to spend time alone with Jiang Yingyue. 

Now that they were alone, Jiang Yingyue had taken the carrier bag that Song Liwei left behind and went towards the coffee table in front of the sofa. 

She quickly started to unpack the food, and the more she looked, the more her eyes shone. She had completely forgotten her previous sadness, and the attitude that Han Qingshan had towards her. All that mattered was the food she could now eat. 

Seeing her obsessed little face, Han Qingshan felt that she was the cutest person he had ever seen. 

After opening the different boxes, preparing the soy sauce and the wasabi, she called for Han Qingshan, only to notice the infatuated expression on his face. 

Seeing it, she was suddenly very aware of her actions, and she was embarrassed by her greed. 

"Let's eat," Han Qingshan said when he saw her embarrassed expression, and he sat down on the sofa, gesturing for her to sit next to him.

As she sat down, she found that suddenly Han Qingshan's leg was touching hers, and she felt as if she was electrocuted. 

She slowly moved her leg slightly, but Han Qingshan's leg followed, and no matter how much she tried moving it, he followed. 

She was, in the beginning, not sure it was done intentionally, but after feeling it happening a few times, she understood that he was intentionally touching her legs with his own. 

Jiang Yingyue's face was red like the crimson sky during sunset. She dared not look at Han Qingshan, and quickly took the chopsticks and propped a bit of food into her mouth, trying to pretend that nothing was wrong. 

Looking at her flustered expression, Han Qingshan smiled sweetly, and soon, the food was slowly being eaten by the two of them. 

Jiang Yingyue was unable to calm down. Her thigh was hot where it was in contact with Han Qingshan's leg. She could not focus on anything, and all her focus was on her leg. 

Han Qingshan did not go over the top though. When he finished eating, he slowly stood up and stretched his body before returning to the desk and starting to work once more.

"Keep eating," he told Jiang Yingyue, as he continued working. Jiang Yingyue had been given a few tasks, but nothing special. She finished eating what she could and then started packing the rest down and cleaning the table after use. 

When she finished, she took out a laptop she had been given by Han Qingshan and started sorting through information about the exodus of artists from Imperial World. 

She found that although the subject had somehow died down, there were still hot searches on Weibo about the artists' escape from Imperial World, and the theories about why they had made such a controversial decision. 

"Han Qingshan," Jiang Yingyue suddenly called out, and Han Qingshan lifted his head curiously to see what she wanted to say. 

"I see that the theories about the exodus are still ongoing," she began. "Why not use this to our own benefit?"

Han Qingshan had at first not expected much from Jiang Yingyue as an assistant, but she was working seriously, and was constantly thinking up new ideas and plans to help him.

"I think, is it not going to be quite obvious that there will be a war between Imperial World and Starry Sky Entertainment? Why not start a topic stating that these artists broke their contracts with Imperial World and that in the future, Imperial World will not invest in a TV-series, a drama, or a movie these artists feature in?"

"I know that Starry Sky is getting a lot of money, now that they have a new supporter, but money is not everything, it will take them time to be able to fully confront you in the entertainment industry."

The two awoke early in the morning, slipped into their suits and then left all in less then two minutes. Exodus rubbed his shoulders, the training from the previous day having left his shoulders tensed and aching. As they headed down the final set of stone steps, they ran right into Catastrophe and Destruction. Exodus tensed his whole body, ready for a fight as he stared into their leering faces, but this time Nathaniel was the one to thrust his arm between his younger brother and the two rivals. "You two seem to be tired," Nathaniel observed, and Catastrophe snarled, "Couldn't exactly sleep with the racket you idiots were making." He paused, a sudden smile flashing across his face before whispering, "I've heard of brotherly love, but crap did you take that literally." Exodus clenched his fist furiously, and as did Nathaniel. Then, Nathaniel unclenched his fists, grabbed Exodus by his aching shoulder, and the two walked away.
 
They did not listen to the jeers that were shouted at their retreating backs but headed to the Training Room. "Shouldn't we be getting food?" Exodus asked, but Nathaniel ignored him, opening the door to the Training Room and kicking it shut behind him. "We need to train!" he hissed, releasing his grip of his brother and then walking over to one of the punching bags. "Ok, what is this all about?" Exodus demanded as his brother began throwing punches seemingly at random. Nathaniel ignored him and continued his assault, his fists yellow blurs as his arms glowed, and then Exodus stepped around to the opposite side of the punching bag and thrust a glowing hand forward. It connected with the punching bag, and stood still against Nathaniel's next punch, sending the latter skidding backward from the shockwave. "Tell me!" Exodus half-shouted, and Nathaniel clenched his fists.
 
"BECAUSE I NEED TO BECOME STRONGER THAN HIM!" he roared, spit flying from his mouth. Instead of shrinking back like he usually would, Exodus stood tall. "Who?" he asked, and Nathaniel looked up, an angry expression polluting his face like trash in the ocean. "Catastrophe," he growled, and Exodus made an 'ah' sound. "I was watching when he punched you. It was enough to send you flying away, yet when it hit, his fist was not glowing. He barely put any effort in." Exodus had noticed that too, but surely, his brother was superior. "He…He is stronger, faster and more powerful than me. To beat him would be a miracle. That's why I need to grow stronger!" Exodus stared at his brother in shock, having never heard the one he admired speak quite like this before. "Nathaniel…You're the Symbol of Hope…you can beat him."
 
Nathaniel laughed and shook his head, "No little brother. Just because I have the Hope does not mean I am invincible. Catastrophe and quite possibly Destruction might be the only ones who have realized this. My best guess is that everyone will try to keep their distance from me, but those two are ready for whatever it is we throw at them." Nathaniel sighed and shook his head, rubbing the sleep from his eyes tiredly. "I need to be better…. stronger. You should too." Exodus stared, and then he slowly nodded, "I understand, brother. That's why I am going to train with you." Nathaniel raised his eyebrows, and Exodus raised his fists, concentrating for several moments before they turned a bright yellow color. Nathaniel laughed and raised his glowing arms, the light punching through the darkness and illuminating the room.
 
"You sure you're ready?" Nathaniel asked, and Exodus nodded. Nathaniel dashed forward, faster than a blink of the eye, and suddenly he was upon his brother. Exodus moved to the side, watching as Nathaniel's fists struck through the air with yellow lightning glowing around his arms. Exodus ducked, feeling something surge through him as he dodged another of Nathaniel's barrages and spun, his fist flying through the air. Nathaniel disappeared, and Exodus hesitated, his eyes darting around, trying to find his brother. He turned, his eyes narrowing as Nathaniel came into his view, his fist raised. Exodus grinned and raised his arm, ready to block it. Nathaniel spun, turning away from Exodus and then raising his leg. Exodus' eyes widened in surprise, and then the glowing foot collided with his chest. Exodus flew back, skidding along the ground and dust spraying up. Nathaniel stood tall, watching as Exodus got to his feet, a graze along his cheek from when he hit the floor.
 
 
"I've told you what to do to be a good Hero. Now do it!" Nathaniel called out, and Exodus got himself ready, legs spread slightly as he raised his fists a second time. Nathaniel did the same, and then Exodus darted forward. He jumped up and punched down, aiming for Nathaniel's face, but Nathaniel easily parried the blow and sent Exodus skidding to the side. Exodus scrambled to his feet, spun and kicked out. It hit Nathaniel in the chest, but Exodus was unable to pull away. Nathaniel gripped onto Exodus' ankle tightly, and then twisted. Exodus spun through the air and then crashed onto the ground, coughing and groaning in pain. "Hope!" hissed Nathaniel as Exodus got to his feet. "You're never going to get anywhere trying to use anger to power your punches. You might as well be in Rage if you try that."
 
Exodus took a deep breath, calmed his nerves and anger, and then yet again charged. This time, he went directly towards Nathaniel's chest. Nathaniel went to meet him, and they both began trading blows, their fists blurs as they hammered down. Nathaniel managed to place his hand on Exodus' chest and shoved him back. As Exodus skidded back, Nathaniel dashed forward. Exodus raised his glowing his fists and swung his right arm forward, yet Nathaniel ducked beneath it. Exodus spun and struck his left fist, but Nathaniel was gone. The air around Exodus whooshed, and he looked up, seeing Nathaniel in mid-air over his head. Then, he punched down. The blow hit Exodus in the shoulder, and he hit the ground, Nathaniel landing above him. "You did well…although you should be more careful in observing your enemy's patterns." Nathaniel offered out a hand, and Exodus took it.
 
Nathaniel lifted Exodus to his feet, and then swung his leg, catching Exodus by the back of his knees and watching as his brother toppled to the ground. "Never accept help from an enemy. Two important lessons." Exodus groaned, and while Nathaniel smiled down upon him, he hooked one leg in front of Nathaniel's legs and the other behind. A look of confusion flashed in Nathaniel's eyes, and then Exodus twisted his body, hearing a crash that told him Nathaniel hit the ground. "You taught me that one," Exodus whispered, getting to his feet and holding his aching side. Nathaniel chuckled as he too leapt to his feet, a large grin on his face. "So I did," he said proudly. "What now?" Exodus asked, and Nathaniel shrugged. "Food?" he asked, and Exodus nodded, grinning too.
