Ray turns around as he passes Yellow Electrical Waves to his hands and uses

Then taking a look at our body, brain along with the spinal cord and the whole nervous system in our body can be considered as central processing unit, because all the electrical signals in our body pass through the nervous system, majorly brain and spinal cord. 
But, where do these signals come from? These signals are created by the input devices inside our body that are attached to the brain. 
But, what exactly are these input devices? 
The answer to that is sensory organs. When sensory organs such as eyes, ears, nose, tongue and skin come in contact with the external environment they produce corresponding electrical signals. 
The electrical signals produced by every sensory organ is different in nature. Our brain and the nervous system read these electrical signals in the form of colors, sound, etc. We simply call this process "sensing", and the signal that enters our mind "sense". 
In other words, our sensory organs help us in comprehending or sensing our surrounding environment.
When these electrical signals come from our eyes, we call them 'Sight'. When they come from our ears, we call them 'hearing'. When they come from our nose, we call them 'Smell'. When they come from our tongue, we call them 'Taste'. When they come from our skin, we call them touch. In the end all five of our senses are nothing but simply electrical signals of five different natures.
Now what happens when our sensory perception increases?
It means that a greater number of electrical signals are being created in the sensory organs which are sent to the brain. Which in turn also means that the burden on the brain also increases because one single brain has to constantly process electrical signals constantly coming from five different sensory organs at the same time.
In simple words a game with a high resolution graphics will not run in a computer system with low hardware specifications.             
But June was different, because he had the help of Quantum Dot and according to what June could understand this increment in his five senses happened because, instead of directly going to the brain, these extra electrical signals coming from the different sensory organs directly went to the Quantum Dot rather than his brain. 
Even June who wrote about quantum dot in his research paper did not have any ideas about its limitations. He would have to keep on experimenting with it in order to understand more about its functions.   
"Why does my sense of "TASTE" show more increment than the other senses? And what about the sense of "TOUCH"?"
Then June remembered that the only thing he had eaten or tasted ever since he came to this land was that poisonous but delicious red fruit. 
"And did my sense of touch increase a little while I was swimming in that pond? Looks like I have to do some confirmation checks regarding this."
Looking at the situation June understood that he had almost negligible idea about what was going on with him, and how did this Quantum Dot appear inside him? 
He sighed in his heart and took another look at the SENSORY STATUS WINDOW.
While sighing he was looking at the word "SIGHT" written in the SENSORY STATUS WINDOW, and absent mindedly he tried to focus on that word and suddenly his whole vision once again came back, and he could see the wooden hut that he was in. The only thing was that his eyes were still closed.
"So, it works like this too!" Now June was really amazed.
While his eyes were closed, June could clearly see what was in front of him without even opening his eyes. It was like a closed eye vision, meaning he did not need eyes to use this "SIGHT" that came in the SENSORY STATUS WINDOW.
"Looks like this vision comes from the Quantum Dot, so I should be able to navigate this vision in same way I navigate the three dimensional space of the Quantum Dot using focus of my eyes."  
 He checked it by moving his focus up, down, left, and right while keeping his eyes closed and "SIGHT" vision on. June noticed that he could rotate this vision by one hundred and eighty degrees and even see what's behind him.
It was same as having eyes even with eyes closed, but he could move them three hundred and sixty degrees and cover the complete area around him in this "SIGHT" vision, and all this could be done while having his eyes closed and without even turning his head.

 Wei Xiao Bei extended his left hand. A cluster of flesh tendrils instantly shot forward like a fishing net, expanding to a range of dozens of meters. They enveloped all the corpses and stabbed into the flesh like steel needles.
 Even the Flame Giant corpses that had withered tremendously from the spear's power was easily pierced by the flesh threads.
 In just thirty seconds, the corpses of the two wolves had been drained dry. Even the bones that should have been left behind were devoured, leaving no trace of the creatures.
 One had to admit that the monsters that Wei Xiao Bei exterminated were completely destroyed.

 [Electricity Control] allowed Wei Xiao Bei to weaken and strengthen voltage or currents, with the other as the tradeoff.
 Wei Xiao Bei had tested this ability before. It could approximately raise the voltage to 3000 volts and current strength to 1.5 amps.
 That is to say, he could increase voltage or current by nearly fifty percent.
 This was already a very decent skill.
 [Release Electricity] had required 3 evolution points for every 1 point voltage increase in power. It was the same for increasing the current by 1 milliampere.

 After several instances of doing this, four balls stood before Wei Xiao Bei. Unlike the previous balls of flesh, these four balls radiated a hint of evilness. Even the color was black.
 This was the new ability that the Life Altar possessed upon evolving. Perhaps it should be known as a hidden skill.
 It allowed the altar to cultivate multiple creatures simultaneously, unlike before.
 The four balls weren't the limit of the Life Altar. The limit of the Altar was ten balls.
 However, Wei Xiao Bei was simply attempting to test every one of the foundational creatures.
 The speed at which the creatures were cultivated was exceedingly fast.
 In just ten seconds, these balls of various sizes split apart. The Weakling Pig, the High-Temperature Bird, the Digging Pig, and the Person appeared, one by one.

 One had to admit that the Life Altar truly felt like a bug in computer software.

The floor and table were covered in dust, his new poster of Zhang Liang Ying that had just been posted on the wall a few days ago had already become yellow and tattered all over. Even Zhang Liang Ying’s beautiful face became monstrous as if an old devil was looking at him with a terrifying smile.

"In the first solution, we have all the building cables connected directly to the main one that goes to the other cities and our Sect, right?"
Droman nodded and waited for Rean to continue.
"In the second and best solution, not a single cable would be directly connected to the main cable anymore."
"What? Then, how are you going to pass the electrical signal?"

"Here's the part that I think it will be complicated for the Formations Hall to work. Instead of connecting all the buildings' cables directly to the main one, you will first bring them inside another formation. This formation will then receive all the signals and send them in order into the main cable. Let's call it... the Router Formation."

Only after it finishes sending the first one will it start to send the 'saved' signal next. The complexity and implications of such formation are far beyond what Elder has worked so far."
"For example. Suppose that this Router Formation received two signals at once. Which one should it prioritize to send ahead first? If you don't specify before-hand, the formation will probably crash straightway since it will be lost at what to do. It won't know whether it should still send the signals ahead or not. Or worse, because it received two signals simultaneously, the formation might think they are the same one. In that case, it will mix both signals as if they are only one and then send ahead. Those who see it at the end will only say that the message doesn't make sense at all!"
"No, it would still be good if the receiver could see anything in the first place. Because both signals got mixed, the 'identification' of the signals will probably not match any of the receivers' formations anymore. That being, those formations will completely ignore that new mixed-signals since they are not supposed to show messages with that weird 'identification' inside them."
"That being that, your formation MUST know that two signals or more can arrive at once. It also needs to know which one it will prioritize. For example, let's say there are 10 buildings connected to the formation. Suddenly, buildings 03 and 07 send a message at the same time. The formation will have to have a priority system. You can simply do something like, the lower the number, the higher the priority."

Droman could help but stop Rean.
"Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait! Give me a second for me to note everything down."
Rean noticed that he got too focused on explaining that he didn't see that Droman was already sweating cold with everything he heard.

Droman immediately nodded. He is, after all, the Formations Masters Hall's Head and a Peak Nascent Soul cultivator.
"Yes. The problem is in the Spiritual Sense. We can control our Spiritual Sense with our own Soul. However, formations don't have Souls. Obviously, they can't control Spiritual Sense to create detailed information to input inside the Jade Slips. There are formations capable of enhancing or hindering Spiritual Senses, but they are not even close to what we would need."
Rean agreed.
"Correct. So, if you really want to use Jade Slips, your formation will need to: Receive the Electrical Signal;
convert it into Spiritual Energy and Spiritual Sense;
input the received information correctly into the Jade Slip;
after that, it will wait for this information's time in the queue;
once that time comes, it will use Spiritual Sense and Energy once again to read the information in the Jade Slip;
convert it back into the correct electrical signal pattern as it was received;
and finally, send the signal into the main cable once more."
Elder Droman couldn't help but smile bitterly.
"Let's... drop the Jade Slip idea..."
"Hahaha! Sure, it would be way too annoying to work around such a thing."
Rean then asked something he was curious about.
"Elder Droman, the best thing is to have some material that can literally use electrical signals to save information. Do you know anything that could be used as a memory and that the formation could save the electrical signal pattern inside?"
Droman narrowed his eyes and began to think. However, even after a few minutes, he didn't answer Rean's question.
"Ahem... Could it be that there is none?"
Droman finally came back to himself and immediately shook his head.
"It's the opposite. I have too many options that I can't figure out just which one would be the best."
Rean really didn't expect that. He thought that one of the biggest issues would be to find something that could be used to save information. Who could have thought that not only there was, but there were too many on top of that.
"Well, then let's go for the cheapest options first."
Droman continued to ponder for a while and nodded.
"Indeed. I've never used those Lightn-... errr... electrical type of materials for something like this before. Because of that, I simply can't figure out which one is better. Perhaps, the cheapest ones will give the necessary results that we need. At least, I hope they do."
Rean agreed with Droman as well.
"Another issue I can think about is the time."
"Time?"
Rean nodded.
"Yes, time. To be more specific, the time necessary to save all the information and then take it out once more. Seconds are far from good enough. After all, these Router Formations will probably be localized at the intersection of several cities at once. Not only that, there will be Router Formations that will have to handle ALL the information of several other Router Formations that will arrive at it."
Droman promptly nodded.
"Indeed. If the busiest formations take as much as one second to make the entire process, it will definitely crumble apart. No, even a tenth of a second is way too much if the Router Formation is localized here in our Dalamu Sect. After all, a lot of information on our territory would definitely pass through here since we plan to make this place the center of the... Network..."
"Correct. Fortunately, now that we removed the jade slips idea, the formation will basically work with electrical signals. The only difference is that it will also use Spiritual Energy to generate even more electricity to keep the formation itself working. But that won't be a problem considering the gains of such a great thing. Anyway, what do you think so far?"
Rean thought that Droman would be somewhat discouraged about this second solution due to its complexity. However, what he saw next was the polar opposite of his thoughts.
"Hahaha! You want to know what I think? I have no idea whatsoever! I've never thought about something this complex before. However, I can't help but feel overflowed with excitement! This project will be the most entertaining and challenging thing I've worked with ever since I became a Formations Master!"
Suddenly, a wave of Spiritual Energy came from Elder Droman's body. It was so abrupt that even Droman himself was taken aback by that. Droman was one of the oldest elders in the Sect, being over 400 years old (Check chapter zero for lifespans). He had been in the Nascent Soul Peak Stage for a very long time already. However, at this very moment, the bottleneck that hindered his progress for over 150 years broke apart as if it was made of paper! From today onwards, the Dalamu Sect has one more Soul Transformation Realm cultivator!

You've got to be kidding, right?" 



Lin's body had come into full view. He had no injuries on his body. Not even one. It looked like their attacks didn't even lay a scratch on him. Although to an outsider it may look like that, the truth was that the ridiculously fast recovery rate had practically healed Lin during the time he was talking. As he looked at his enemies, a crooked smile crept up his face. 



"Now.. are you both ready?"


Richard and Gerald looked at the speaker. The fact that there wasn't a single injury meant that there was absolutely no possibility for them to win this fight. Which meant that escape is the best option. As both of the men thought of various ways to get out of the escape, Lin made his move.


He opened his palms, which flowed with electrical currents and pointed at both of them, shooting countless yellow-colored electrical arrows out of his hands, showering them with a rain of arrows. The projectiles were extremely fast. Both Richard and Gerald were having a hard time evading the rain of electrical arrows.


As they were busy evading the fast approaching arrows, Lin was forming an extended form of electrical energy through his arms, flowing together into a long whip. After successfully forming two long electrical whips on both his arms, Lin dashed towards the first target he chose, Gerald.


Gerald, who saw the fast approaching Lin, quickly tried to evade the attack but was hit by one of the electrical arrows and lost his footing. Taking advantage of the distracted enemy, Lin quickly swung the Electrical whip, connecting with Gerald's left arm and cutting through it smoothly.


"AHHHH!!" The screaming Gerald had lost his focus due to the shock that came from losing an arm. Lin then kicked Gerald in the face in the very next second, causing him to smash into a tree and losing consciousness.


Richard, who was evading the arrows, saw the whole scene and felt terrified. He looked at the unconscious Gerald with his eyes narrowed, then shifted his gaze to Lin who was calm, with cold sweat pouring from his forehead. The astonishment he felt couldn't be expressed in words; but he didn't have much time to think about it, as Lin now moved towards him.


Richard quickly formed a strong gust of wind to lift him up high and tried to propel himself to fly. Lin, quickly figuring out his intentions, swung one of the whip which looped around Richard's leg, and pulled him down, causing him to hit the ground hard. Lin then swung his other whip as hard as he would, but Richard quickly evaded by rolling sideways and used air manipulation to pull him back up quickly. Lin saw this and quickly ran towards him and swung his whip once more. Richard evaded sideways and tried to attack, but Lin didn't stop and swung the whip down anyways, smashing the earth so hard and breaking the ground nearby, causing Richard to lose his footing.


"RICHARD!!" As Richard lost his balance and fell down, he saw the whip coming towards him at full speed, and although he used his wind powers to slow it down, it wasn't enough as the whip smashed him down to the ground and released the pent up electrical energy, causing a huge explosion.

When the dust settled, Richard was seen smashed into the ground, bloody and near dead. Lin, who stood by him, was without a scratch, and was calm as always. He looked at the almost dead Richard with cold eyes.


"I di-did what I ha-had to do." Richard, who couldn't even speak probably and was coughing up blood, spoke with difficulty.


Lin didn't answer. He waited for a minute, and then formed a ball of flames in his palms, and threw it on top of Richard, who screamed with pain. After a while, the screams stopped and silence returned.


Lin who looked at the burnt corpse in front of him and replied, "I don't care whether you did what you had to do or not, all that matters is that you crossed me. You broke my trust, and for that you must pay, whatever the reason may be."


He then moved to where Gerald was laying unconscious and carried him over to his apartment. Even though the basement had been destroyed, the first floor was still in good condition. The fire hadn't passed through. 


As he carried Gerald over to another room, he tied him to the bed. He then waited for him to gain consciousness. Soon enough, he woke up confused and disgruntled, but figured out the situation quickly.


"I'm not telling you who I'm working for, you know," as he looked at the teenage monster Lin, Gerald calmly told him.


"I know."


"... What?" Surprised by the lack of enthusiasm from the child, Gerald thought that he had heard him wrong for a second. As he looked surprised, Lin grabbed the transfusion device and injected the needle into his vein. He looked at the confused face of Gerald and spoke: 


"Two choices; Suffer through the most painful experience and die anyways or answer the question and I'll kill you in an instant. Your time starts…. "


He then turned on the device and injected the dual power procedure without the potions.


"... Now."

Few Hours Later.

Richard's House.


"Mom, are we really leaving?" A boy who looked to be fourteen asked his mom.


"Yes honey, dad told us to get to the top of the Holden Building where we'll be leaving in a helicopter." The mom smiled at the child and answered the question. She looked distraught. It appears she wasn't fully inclined to leave either.


"Now go ahead and pack up your things, sweetheart. We're going to be late if you don't. Don't you want to ride in the helicopter soon?"


"Yes, I'll be fast!"


The mother and the child packed their things and got ready to leave the country once and for all. She opened the door only to be greeted by a man in a black jacket smiling at them. She appeared to have frozen in her place. The man who seemed not to care about the terrified expression on the woman's face, calmly spoke:


" The young master sends his regards."

Lin Hamill was an ordinary boy born in an extraordinary family. Burdened by the pressure and expectations that he failed to accomplish, he moved to an apartment to escape his family.

He had no talent.
He had no expectations.

That was what he had thought until he met The Man Upstairs, who assigned him a mission.

He was chosen and sent to an alternate Reality where magic existed among the masses.

Similar to his original counterpart, the Lin from the Magical World also had no talent in magic.

But this time he won't give up.

I crunched the snack pack as I have finished eating my lunch, and drank my beverage empty before throwing them away inside a nearby trashcan. I looked at my watch to see that the time was 11.04 a.m., realizing that I had roughly spent only four minutes for my lunch.
I walked to the other corner of the same platform, approaching Virgil who seemed to be almost finished in upgrading the new power source. When I could take a look closer, I saw that Virgil was holding a couple of bicycle sprockets in his right hand and a bicycle chain in his left hand. He seemed to be attempting to bind three half-cut PVC pipes to the chain, although I had yet to know what the purpose was for.
"Ugh… guess this will not do it after all…" he sighed, as he put down the bicycle chain and started to palm his face with his left hand.
"How is it going so far?" I asked him, smiling a bit as I did.
"Well, I would say that it would be two more steps left if I can figure out this one…" he answered, as he pointed towards the piles of sprockets, chains, pedals and pedal arms, half-cut and whole pieces of PVC pipes, thin copper rods and one roll of aluminum foils right beside him.
"Do you think you need to take some parts off from the bicycles downstairs?" I asked him again.
"No, no. I would try not to whatever happens because they're too precious unless there is no choice. I appreciate it though, thanks…" he responded as he focused back on the circuit board.
Apparently, Virgil was trying to figure out on how to create a power system based on the parts presented right in front of him. Based on what it looked like, it appeared that the assembling process was not as easy, or at least a little more complicated as he thought it would be. I myself did not know much about electricity since my focus was on naval engines back when I was still in my university years. However, something did come to my mind in which I asked it to him.
"If they cannot stick to the chain, can they stick on the sprocket instead?�� I asked him.
Virgil did not say anything at first, and he frowned for a little while, before suddenly looked like he had some kind of a light bulb popped on top of his head. Just then, he put down one of the sprockets back into the piles, and took three half-cut PVC pipes from the piles by using his left hand. He seemed to try and make some form of a broken circle under the sprocket by using the half-cut PVC pipes.
"Okay… that should do the trick…" he said, as he smiled and put down all the things he held on his hands.
He then took a couple of thin copper rods, which probably he obtained from the train cars air conditioning compartment box again, and stuck them to the very small gaps and cracks on the walls. Had I not approach him and see how he was doing in upgrading the power source I might will never realized that failure signs in constructions could even bring some sort of benefit to the people inside the building.
He then assembled one of the sprockets with the pedal and its arm, before hanging it to one of the stuck thin rods through the sprocket's center hole. Then, he continued by taking three half-cut PVC pipes, and made a hole on its sides by using a folding knife. I recognized the knife was Ryan's, indicating that Virgil had borrowed it again from him.
After he had made a couple of holes on each of the half-cut PVC pipes, he inserted one thin rod into each of the PVC pipes through the holes, and bent the exposed part of rod on one of the other end of the hole by his using his hand. The other end of the rod was then inserted to one of the sprocket edge holes, and the exposed part of the rod was also bent. He did the exact same thing for the rest of the two half-cut PVC pipes.
Once he had finished, he hung the sprocket with three half-cut PVC pipes installed to another of the thin rods stuck on the wall through the center hole. When I looked at both of the sprockets, they were positioned linearly against each other.
His next step was to connect each of the sprockets by using the bicycle chain, and it did not take him too long to connect them. At first I thought that he had finished installing the power source. However, I was very much mistaken, as he took another couple of thin rods and stuck it at the holes on the walls, linearly and vertically to the sprocket with PVC pipes.
He continued by taking the roll of aluminum foils, and opened it a little before cutting it with the folding knife. The sheet of aluminum foil was then folded once, and was then formed to a circular ring with a slightly bigger diameter than the PVC pipes circle, before each of its end was stapled three times. Then, he proceeded by taping the top and bottom of the outer side of the aluminum circle on each end of the thin rods.
When he finished, he finally said that his new power source had been completed, and that he would like to find out its performance after one more last step. It was none other to connect the left and right of the aluminum circle outer side with a cable that led to the circuit board. As he had finished, he immediately tried it out.
The circuit board was only connected to one lamp, and when I asked why, Virgil said that he had wanted to find out first how more powerful the new power source would be. He began to pedal the sprocket very slowly shortly after, and much to my surprise, the lamp was shining much brighter than before. It was as if the lamp received an electrical power no less than three times bigger. I glanced at Virgil to see his reaction, to which he showed a satisfied smile on his face whether he realized it or not.
Apparently, he was not yet completely satisfied, as he pedaled faster and the lamp went much brighter. Unfortunately, the lamp finally broke as he pedaled faster again, making everyone and especially ourselves at the third floor shocked and had their attention instantly locked to our direction. I could even see Captain Quentin had already pulled out his handgun on the other side of the platform, probably thought that it was an alien crashing inside to the station.
"Sorry, sorry! False alert!" Virgil said, as he picked up the shattered remains of the lamp glass.
"Did that went better than you expected?" I asked him, as I helped him clean up the lamp remains.
"Yeah, pretty much…" he answered, as he smiled with what seemed to be of satisfaction kind.
As we had cleaned up the mess that we had made, I asked him if the concept behind the enhancement in the electrical power output was solely due to the more aggressive rubbing as well as a more continuous manner in the input. He immediately confirmed it to be basically true, and he even asked me if I wanted to know more of the method if I did not mind, to which I answered I did not at all.
When he continued, he had first reminded me about the basic concept of the power source, that rubbing the aluminum foil and PVC pipes would create an electrical charging, and with that an electrical energy. I nodded as a sign of confirming that I still remember the concept, before he went further on.
In the first version of the power source, the electrical energy output was not so big because we had to release the aluminum foil and PVC pipes each time we had just rubbed them against each other. The process of releasing those different types of materials caused several losses in electrical charging, and therefore led to the decrease in efficiency of electrical energy harvesting.
However, in the second version of the power source, the electrical energy output increased by what most likely seemed to be more than just twice of its first version because we did not have to release the aluminum foil and PVC pipes anymore. This would mean that much less electrical charges would be wasted, and therefore resulting in more electrical energy input to the circuit board.
Aside from that, once we had release the 'trigger', in which in this case was none other than the pedal, the half-cut PVC pipes would still be rotating for some more time longer. As it rubbed against the circular aluminum foil, it would still create some more bonus electrical energy before finally stopping for real.
In conclusion, the second version of the power source was indeed a more efficient method in creating electrical energy for the whole station. Virgil then planned to make few parallel circuit boards, which would be connected to at least five lamps, as well as the Morse code machine.
He had also been planning to connect the circuit boards with the announcement station speaker as well just in case for emergency situations, even though he would definitely need help for it. Just then, I remembered that Jonathan had earlier mentioned to trust the rest of the communication matter to Virgil, which gave me a strong implication that he might have been the one who had suggested Virgil to do so from the start.
It was also at that moment I realized that we were going to evacuate many other survivors on the street by alerting them through the speaker. It would be definitely very loud since no other sort of noises was heard even during the day aside from few occasionally flying alien aircrafts. Nevertheless, I also had some satisfied feeling since I had helped Virgil making a better power source for the station.
Since there were no other activities to be done again so far, I decided to sit at one of the benches on the other side of the platform where I currently was. Just as I had crossed to the other platform, Jonathan approached me and said that he believed it was best for us to prepare looking for a good place for trapping the aliens.
"Right now?" I asked Jonathan, as I was a little unconvinced.
"You do not have to come with us if you need a rest, but well… more people, less needed time…" Captain Quentin responded.
"Oh no, it is okay." I replied immediately, "I will come with you."
As I glanced towards Virgil's direction, he seemed to be aware that I would be going with Jonathan and Captain Quentin since he nodded and smiled at me before focusing on upgrading his circuit boards again. Captain Quentin also told us that we would be going by bicycle, as he said that it would be faster for us to reach our destinations.
Before we went downstairs, I also glanced at Jonathan and I felt like he stared to Fiora's direction for a brief moment before he followed Captain Quentin down. At first, I had wanted to ask him more about it. But then again, I would not want to get my mind distracted by his answers in the end.
As we picked up the bicycles down to the street below, I looked at my watch and realized that the time was then 11.51 a.m. I guess that they decided to search for the promising buildings right away since it was already noon. Based by how they moved, they seemed to be very eager to finish making the traps on one day. Not that I disagree with them, though…
