"I heard that this shop will be selling magical communication mirrors - with them one can contact anyone else, who has bought a mirror from this shop," said an old lady wearing a wide witch's hat and dark robes while standing on the street in front of the shop titled 'Dragon Enterprises' with her friend, who was similarly dressed.

"I doubt that it is possible. My husband once bought us a pair and I know that they work very specifically. It is impossible to connect them to other people's magical mirrors, since they are made by different enchanters and have different charms, even if the function is similar," said the old lady's friend arrogantly. She appeared to be very confident when speaking on this subject, however her companion wasn't convinced.

"They are even advertising that they will return the fees if what they are saying isn't true," she argued heatedly. Her friend just snorted with disbelief, however, she still carefully read the poster which was hanging on one of the windows.

Around the big white building, which was just next to the Gringotts bank, a crowd could be seen gathering. They enthusiastically discussed the magical mirrors and the new store's opening, which would happen on the next day. 

"Wow, they will be returning funds if the magical mirrors don't work?" said one brightly dressed wizard, eerily resembling Dumbledore, with some disbelief.

Another person shook his head, expressing doubt, and commented: "Have you seen what it says at the bottom? In the future the mirrors will have other functions, such as sending messages through them. Does it mean that we will no longer need owls? How does that even work?!"

"Ah!!! I am too stupid! I don't understand, how will I find out my friend's number if I cannot call them to ask?" asked one young lady, who had been squinting at one of the posters for the past 10 minutes. Her boyfriend, who has been standing by the side the whole time and tapping his foot on the ground, impatiently answered:

"You really are stupid! Just floo and ask them! You can also send an owl with your own number and when they call, they will tell you their number."

The lady wasn't angered, seemingly used to her companion's temperament. She idly continued to talk, as though she didn't notice her boyfriend's impatience: "But look at how much they cost! The minimum cost is 3 galleons and if the calls exceed 100 minutes per month, we have to pay 1 knut for each additional minute? What if we don't pay?"

A sigh of exasperation could be heard. The lady's boyfriend really wanted to know how he came to like this slow-minded girl. "Don't you see what's written in front of you? They can disable your mirror until you pay up!"

"That's just ripping people off!"

"Well, it is apparently hard to maintain the whole network, so they are doing it because they don't want to 'crash' it, whatever that means..." came the uncertain answer for the first time during their conversation. 

An old and flair wizard, sitting on a floating chair, heard the pair's talk and interrupted: "I bet that's hogwash - they just want to earn some money! Though the whole set up does seem to require some very specific magic... However, the mirror is more convenient than standing on the knees in front of a fireplace. At my age I cannot even floo-call my friends, cause none of us want to damage our knees. Even cushioning charms don't help much!" The old man sighed and floated away.

Meanwhile, the impatient young wizard was thoughtfully considering: "Actually, when thinking about the costs, if the mirrors work as advertised, then they should be cheaper in long term than buying an owl and their food or constantly buying floo-powder. Did you see the price increases? It's like they think we have bottomless pockets!" 

His girlfriend shook her head with disappointment - her companion was too money-conscious, no wonder he worked in the Finance department of the Ministry!

The day of Dragon Enterprises first store's opening wasn't very lively or bright. As it was already the first day of December, the unpredictable English weather made itself known by raining small droplets one minute and stopping the next. There was even some light mist, spreading along the streets and blocking the sight.

However, despite the unpleasant time of the year and the inconvenience, a lot of people still lined up at the front of the new store, which hasn't even opened its doors yet. This was because the poster, hanging by one of the store's windows, clearly said that the first 100 customers will get a deal of buying one mirror and getting another one for free. This kind of service would be available only on the opening day! How could curious witches and wizards not gather?

"I can hardly wait any longer, it's almost 9 a.m., do they not see us? Why are they not opening up?"

"I had to recast the drying charm for the third time today, and the day hasn't even properly started yet!"

Grumbles and complaints could be heard from the people standing in line, however no one left. Soon the Dragon Enterprises opened its doors and the people rushed in - it was hard to tell whether they wanted to get away from the rain or were eager to see the new products.

"Oh, finally!"

"Ah, it's so warm and bright inside!"

"Let's see what new stuff they got!"

As soon as people entered, they were instantly mesmerized by the shop's elegant interior. The salesmen and salesgirls respectfully greeted the first customers and led them around the store, explaining that there were no real differences between mirrors yet, aside from them having different frames and casings. 

Wizards were mostly happy with simple and cheap versions - made with common wood or metal frames. On the other hand, ladies' eyes were shining while looking at mirrors which had pretty carvings or colors. Most could only sigh wistfully after seeing those, which were made from gold, silver or expensive wood and even had gems encrusted. However, every mirror had one thing in common - be they cheap or expensive, they were all done very well and looked quite elegant, with the symbol of the curling dragon at the back.

"It doesn't matter, as long as it's usable," said an old wizard. His wife disagreed, "What usable? What cheap? All you know is to save money! My neighbor over there is buying a mirror with silver frames and carved flowers, yet you want to buy me the one made out of wood? How will I be able to face her in the future!" The old wizard could only give up - his wife didn't care that the wood was also expensive and the carvings were very beautiful -  he had to get either silver or golden one for her.

Considering the exclusive deal of 1+1, witches and wizards didn't hesitate to choose different mirrors for themselves and their partners, friends and children. Especially since they were repeatedly assured by the staff that the money would be returned if the products didn't work as advertised. 

A lot of customers bought more than two mirrors, so the store's staff was very busy. There was a long line forming from the counter throughout the whole store, so the buyers were given queue numbers and were thus allowed to rest on the couches by the side, while they waited.

There was also a line to register names to contact numbers, which was a bit shorter but still quite long.

In the end, the first day of business was very successful for the Dragon Enterprises and the next day the Dragon Mirrors were already in the news.

Draco was very happy to see that the mirror network was working as intended and even though his staff did make some mistakes by accidentally registering wrong contact numbers to the wrong names, those things were not too serious and were quickly sorted out. 

The young entrepreneur was especially pleased by the article in Daily Prophet, for which his father (obviously) paid for. It praised not only the young boy, who was the company's founder, but also the mirror network - as the new magical innovation of the century!

Manvi who was a shopaholic already rummaged through the clothes and found herself a milk white netted saree with smalls mirrors all over it.  The silvery cut work at the borders with mirrors was elegant. The blouse was a platinum white and it has all the big oval sized mirrors studded over it giving it a heavy look. 

The back neck of the blouse was all bare with only two long knots one at her waist and the other at her shoulders and big hangings attacched to them.

 For the second one she went with a dark green colored long length dress. It is a simple dress that has multiple designs in different layers over it and the dress was so elegant. 

Sony was going through the dresses searching for pink and blue coloured combinations. She didn't know whether Kunal likes light colors or dark colors. 

After breaking her head over that for a few minutes she settled over two dresses. One is the Baby pink and a sky blue dual shade lehenga with Pink on the top and Blue on the bottom with gold lace at the waist.

It has snow flake heavy sequins embroidered with gold shinny lace. The blouse was a simple plain baby pink with two thin straps over the shoulders. The dupatta has the dual shade with golden borders and hangings.

Though it looked simple it suits Sony's innocent and pure nature. Then she went to another dress. The material is a banaras cloth. The blouse is dark blue and so was the lehenga with two layers. One light pink design at the waist and at the bottom with blue I'm center. The dupatta pink was the dark colour with gold print designs on it. It was more like a crop top than a gagra. 

Everyone was busy trying out their outfits when Naveen went out to give them some privacy actually he went to attend a call. 

Gouthami asked Ayush to design the same dress as her for Pretti with a few minor changes. Preeti liked the dress and nodded her head in satisfaction. Shriya also asked the same, she asked for a replica of her engagement white dress for Preeti.

That was when Pumpkin came out wearing a gagra which is very different. It was so colorful and it gave a different look. The blouse was white with different coloured small mirrors over it and a golden jari border around the neck. The lehenga has two layers The below one was apple green and over it the lehenga was divided into two parts with slits. 

One was a pale saffron coloured with all colored flowers over it especially sky blue color flowers. The border of that piece has a dark sky blue colored lace. And the other part has exactly the opposite with sky blue with saffron lace. The entire lehenga has a white bordered lace. The dupatta was violent colored which is completely contrast to the dress and on the whole it was an eye catcher with multiple colors.

Everyone looked at her with weird expressions and Sony walked to her with an awkward expression and asked with a smile "You like this one?"

The latter was not bothered by their looks and said to Sony innocently "Well don't you like it. I think it's all colorful and trendy". 

Sony smiled and said with hesitation "You are a tom boy so I think you don't know much about girls clothes or shopping".

Ayush who was standing by the side looked at Pumpkin and said after a deep thought "I thought it won't look good for some people, but you carried it perfectly and believe me it suits your unique charm".

Everyone looked at him and Pumpkin chimed in with enthusiasm "I know it suits me afterall I am a pure Rajasthani girl and this colorful dress is meant for me."

Then she looked at the other side and said "I like that orange and red long dress with a gold colored jacket over it".

Everyone smiled seeing her confident with her choice. After that Ayush said to them "Well I will get the changes done and will send it to your addresses".

Everyone paid and when it's time for Pumpkin to pay she didn't let Sony to pay with Kunal's card, instead she sent the bill to Barun.

Sony looked at her and the latter explained with a prideful tone "That stupid brother of mine owe me so much during these past three years".

Ayush smiled hearing her and said "Well on Monday, your men will come here and I will show them your dresses and if they want I will get their dresses done so that it will match with yours". They nodded and were about to go out when Naveen came walking towards them.

Naveen took his card from Brahmini which he have her earlier. He went inside and told to Shriya "Shriya we need to go to the passport office. Boss called and told me that Sony, Brahmini and Preeti don't have a passport with them. We should apply for it today".

Shriya looked at Manvi and Gouthami and asked them "If you guys want to rest then you can go home. You must  be feeling tired".

Gouthami shook her head and said "I am fine. I am tried to death sitting at home all day."

Gouthami thought that these people will be all noisy but in reality they were all busy with their own things and didn't annoy her or pester her. Instead she found them quite interesting.

Not too long after their arrival Kenma was  quickly seized by tailors. Measuring and pulling and turning. It lasted a while but they eventually got all the things they needed. Now that the hard part was over they were ready to select the suite pieces they thought would best suit him. After going through a red suit, a blue suit, a brown suit, and a white suit They finally found one that looked right. It was a traditional black suite. One of the tailors quickly added a red tie with gold accent to complement the gold cuff links of the sleeves of the suit jacket, and the small gold detail of the lip on the dress should someone had shoved at him. After looking down at all the things that had been piled on him he eventually walked out of the fitting room. He came out from behind the curtain and saw Kuroo sitting on a sofa, legs crossed with the same laid back expression he always had. He got up to take a closer look at the outfit as Kenma stepped out further into the main room. "Hmm." Kuroo looked indifferent towards the suite. Maybe it was the shoes, or… the tie Kenma thought as his palms got sweaty. 
"W-what do you think?" He tried to ask as noshelantly as possible, as he looked away glancing across the room. After a moment of awkward silence Kuroo finally exhaled and answered his question.
 "I think the black is simplistic and not too flashy , making it more elegant, so it works for you. I like the red, it adds a little bit of color without throwing off the minimalistic dynamic of the set. And I like the subtle gold accents because they bring out your eyes." 
Kenma was taken aback by that, he had no clue that Kuroo really thought about this. It made the situation a little less unbearable. He was embarrassed and had to say something in response.  
"Are you even supposed to be here? Isn't it bad luck or something?" 
Kenma said as he walked out further into the room, making his way over to the mirrors. 
"What are we? Getting married?" Kuroo asked as he walked to his right, meeting Kenma by the mirrors as he nuzzled his chin into kenma's shoulder, and slid his hands around his waist. Kenma blushed at the thought but quickly tried to cover it with hostility.
 "Well if you like it, it'll work." Kenma said, trying to look anywhere but  the mirrors now. "It doesn't matter if I like it, it matters if you like it. Do you like it, Kenma?" He asked as he hugged him a little bit tighter and rested the side of his face on Kenmas neck.
 " Yeah I like it-" Kenma said as he started to blush, trying to pry Kuroo's arms off of his waist. "Will you get off me so I can go change?" He asked, still trying to break away from Kuroo. 
"Change? Already? But I like Kenma in a suit, just 5 more minutes?" He asked, still not letting go. "No you'll see plenty of the actual night of the dance, now let go you clingy chicken!" At this point he was squirming like a cat in a bathtub, it seemed the more he resisted the more Kuroo attached. He finally let go, a look of confusion flushed across his face.
 "Chicken? Well if i'm a chicken then I guess that makes you my ki-" "No!" Kenma said forcefully as he covered Kuroo's mouth. "Do not say that." Kenma ordered as he slowly let go of Kuroo's face, proceeding with caution. 
" FiNe… My gInGeR cAt." "WHAT DID I SAY!" "What? You said I couldn't call you Kitten." "Kuroo!" 
"Alright, alright. Go change and we'll grab lunch." He just glared at Kuroo for a second before retreating to the fitting room to change back into his clothes.

Inside the ring, something finally revealed its true appearance like a blossoming lotus.
Seventeen "Mirrors" hung in the air, forming a matrix. Like an active rail, it transformed, following a nonexistent track. Opening like a lotus flower in the rain, they were close to one another and wrapped around Edmund, creating a kaleidoscope of reflections. Mirror was the only rune that Ye Qingxuan could activate instantaneously. It was also his biggest accomplishment from the past ten days.
After that night, that rune that had been left over in his memory was imprinted into his brain, turning into an instinctive ability. With the help of the double snake time meter, he had finally reached the ability to use instantaneous runes. Using mercury as supportive material, he was able to create mirrors identical to the ones in a lighthouse. But this rune seemed to be useless right now.
Edmund froze in the surging heat. He could not believe that the mirrors were Ye Qingxuan’s last attempt. "You think this can stop my Dragon Breath?!" It was absurd.
"Of course not." Ye Qingxuan shook his head. "But if you stop now, it’s not too…"
"Die!" Edmund cut him off and raised a hand, eyes fierce.
The energy building up in his ring had turned the amber a crimson red. The catastrophic Dragon Breath would spew out in the next moment.
Some in the audience had already covered their eyes, too scared to look.
But Brian finally reacted, his face changing dramatically. "Edmund, stop!"
"Too late," Dominic laughed loudly at their misery. Brian had put up the soundproof barrier himself. It had nothing to do with anyone else.

Aether surged wildly inside of the snake circle. Crimson red light lit up from within the amber, the piercing redness blinded everyone in a second. The wild heat spilled in all directions. Even the transparent barrier was revealed under this heat, restraining the bright radiance within it. But despite how terrifying it was, it was only the precursor. 
Edmund put everything into guiding the aether, but when he looked up, he saw Ye Qingxuan’s faint smile through a layer of fiery light. The smile was so full of pity and mockery.
Under everyone’s nervous eyes, Ye Qingxuan raised a hand and snapped his fingers. Immediately, the mirror matrix began spinning, replicating the Church’s machinery with aether. Seventeen dazzling silver reflections joined together immediately. There were no sparks as they touched each other, no rotating, creaking, or grating. The lotus-like matrix closed in soundlessly.
In an instant, the limitless red light disappeared. Replacing it was a wail that sent goosebumps up everyone’s skin.
"Ah!!"

The seventeen mirrors formed a seamless wall, trapping all light and heat within it. In the blink of an eye, the mirrors turned red hot from the terrifying heat. As if an oven was about to be melted to the ground, one could see melting metal and copper dancing in the flames.
The Dragon Breath had yet to be released, but the heat brewing in the light was enough to evaporate the mirrors. But those mirrors which should have been surrounding a lighthouse reflected the light, increasing it’s power by one-thousand, turning the inside into an inferno. It was the matrix designed by the church! Even in its most basic form, it could transform a sliver of light in the night sky into a lighthouse!
The mirror formation was sustained for a second before falling apart. But the light and heat had already disappeared. The Dragon Breath had lost all control. The aether that had flooded over dissipated soundlessly. All that remained was Edmund, singed black and laying on the ground.

"My eyes! My eyes!" Putting a burned hand over his face, he touched his body, but he could only feel burned skin and charred clothing. "What did you do? What did you do?!" he screamed in hysteria, blood seeping from his face. "You b*stard, what the f*ck did you do to me?!"
"I just wanted you to experience the ‘Lighthouse’." Ye Qingxuan walked over and bent down to look at him. "How did it feel under all that light? I hope you can be like the lighthouse and be a useful member of society."
"Ye Qingxuan!" Hearing those words, Edmund growled hoarsely, "Ye Qingxuan! I’m going to kill you!" His features twisted and his charred skin cracked open, revealing the bloody mess inside.
"Edmund, calm down!" The barrier around the snake circle shattered and Brian rushed in. Frantically, he poured medicine over Edmund’s body, keeping him alive.
"Chorale musicians! Where are the chorale musicians?" Brian searched in panic, completely forgetting that he had gotten rid of the practice ring’s chorale musicians in order to help Edmund with his plan.
"How can you be so cruel?!" He glared at Ye Qingxuan, unable to hide his panic.
"Ha." Ye Qingxuan shrugged. "You are ‘allowed’ to injure and maim in the concertmaster challenge…Isn’t that what you said?"
"You!" Brian’s face was practically black with anger, but he could not deny Ye Qingxuan’s words. He glared at the student coldly and turned back to help Edmund’s friends pick him up and take him to the hospital, but someone stopped him.
"What’s the hurry, professor?" Charles stopped him, seeing through his attempt to muddle through. Seeing his nervous expression, Charles laughed. "That was the last round. You haven’t announced the result of the challenge yet."
"Now’s not the time for this!" Brian’s eyes twitched, unwilling to face the result.
"Really?" Grinning, Charles patted his shoulder. "Then please go do whatever you’re busy with. When I was wandering around just now, I ran into an old man. He seems to be really dissatisfied with you."
Brian flinched and turned around. Dominic stared emotionlessly at him from the shadows. Nothing was said, but for some reason, cold sweat beaded on Brian’s forehead. Under everyone’s anticipating eyes, his features twisted. Finally, he grit out through clenched teeth, "The winner of the tenth round is Ye Qingxuan!"
The silent crowd erupted into cheers in an instant. After witnessing such a legendary fight, no one could resist the urge to jump up in excitement.
Bai Xi yelled happily in the crowd. As she cheered, she turned around, looking for Ye Qingxuan. But all she saw was the youth’s lonely backside within the snake circle.
As if sensing her gaze, Ye Qingxuan turned around. Seeing her smile, he gave her a thumbs up, smiling tiredly.
Then, before her shocked eyes, the white-haired youth fell over, unconscious.

Yunlou Chaoyue watched quietly from the entrance of the underground palace. Her face was neutral, as if she had been looking at mere hallucinations and nothingness in the air.
"A bunch of uncouth things who dared to be so violent before the Princess. My apologies for ruining your experience." Beside her, Sydney wiped away his sweat and explained quietly, "Please do not misunderstand. These embarrassments are still the minority of the academy. As if she had not heard anything, the girl focused on the center of the square, studying the unconscious youth and the frantic girl hugging him. Confusion entered her cool eyes, as if she had never seen something like that before.
In the square, Bai Xi glanced up accidentally, looking into the direction of the girl. For a moment, their eyes met through an opening in the crowd, and they saw each other clearly. Elegant and downtrodden, reserved and panicking, mature and immature. One looked like a princess, the other did not.
In the next moment, the crowd rejoined and the girl disappeared, as if swallowed by the ocean.
The princess stepped forward subconsciously, but then hesitated. She did not take another step forward.
After a long time, Yunlou Chaoyue turned around gradually, letting the girl remain lost in the sea of people.
"Maybe it’s better this way…" she murmured.
"Huh? Miss Chaoyue, what did you say?" Sydney asked.
"Nothing." She shook her head and suddenly said softly, "I said I want to leave, so let this be a farewell, Mr. Sydney."
"Miss Chaoyue, Miss Chaoyue!" Shocked, Sydney ran over and subconsciously grabbed the girl’s sleeve. "Where…"
The words died in his mouth when the girl turned back, looking at him silently.
There was not fury or bone-chilling disgust in those eyes—only coolness. It was as if she was high up in the sky, looking down at the mundane world, and so humanity’s ugliness was reflected in her eyes.
In the face of those eyes, Sydney let go reflexively and retreated. "No, I—I didn’t…"

Sian and the other girls hugged Citaan and Kassie made Gredel blush when she insisted on kissing him on the cheek. They watched the couple make their way out of the ballroom. 
It's very clever how the rooms are designed, Sian thought. With the mirrors lining the walls you couldn't tell the room had been pieced together.

LOI FELT A BIT TIRED too but Sabyn had told her they had a few more hours yet. At midnight there would be cake and other food brought out, some speeches, and then fireworks in the courtyard. In the meantime, there was dancing and chatting. Gazing around the room at all the elegant guests she caught sight of Elena and Yakov dancing. They made a very handsome couple. In the room full of dancing pairs, they stood out with their skill and grace, almost looking like they were on ice. Their body language seemed rather suggestive and she wondered again if they were a couple. Elena looked beautiful, as always, in a one shoulder, wine coloured gown. 
It might sound silly, but Loi had been rather relieved when she had learned that the Sorceress was so old. It made her feel less intimidated by the woman's beauty. Maybe because it seemed more appropriate, Loi shook her head, berating herself. Of all the things to think, I must be tired.
Her eyes caught a glimpse of a woman watching her via one of the mirrors.

FEELING LOI START IN SURPRISE, Sabyn looked down. 
'What's wrong?'
She glanced up. 'What? Oh. I thought I saw someone, but I must be more tired than I realized. When I blinked they were gone.' She laughed at herself and he smiled.
'Not to worry. The rest of the evening will go by before you know it and I can promise you, the fireworks will be spectacular. That's why Nnelg isn't here at the moment. He's resting up before he gets to set them off.'

RUMAL HAD INTRODUCED KASSIE TO the water sprite couple after he'd noticed her studying them yet again. It was fascinating to look at them without feeling rude. The only embarrassing part was how impressed they were with Kassie herself. It felt rather bizarre to be looked upon as a celebrity. V'Merna and his wife Vn'Orli were delighted to meet her and more than happy to answer the questions she had. She was surprised to see their faces looked quite human, with delicately shaped brows and high jutting cheek bones, slim lips and a wide smile. They had large gold eyes and two sets of eyelids. Though the second set was translucent. Their lips had a touch of pink to them beneath the blue skin. Both were dressed in garments that flowed over their slim figures. The fabric appeared to change colour when they moved, from a dove grey to a crisp white.
'What is that fabric?' she demanded, staring.
Vn'Orli smiled smugly. 'Do you like it? It's a fabric created by an arachnid faerie.'
Rumal looked at V'Merna in surprise. 
'Where did you find the faerie? Citaan's been hunting for them for months but had no success.'
The elegant sprite gave Rumal a solemn wink then laughed. 
'I'll have a chat to her tomorrow then. But we'll have to make sure she keeps it a secret. Otherwise there'll be none left for us.'
His wife nodded, her face earnest. 'You know how popular it is, Rumal.'
I can see why, Kassie thought. She noticed another woman studying the costumes, a tall blonde with a fantastic figure. She looks like a supermodel, thought Kassie, though she couldn't see her face, and went to move to get a better look when Rumal touched her shoulder.
'Did you want another glass?'
'Oh! Yes, thanks' She smiled at him then turned back. What? How'd she vanish so quickly? Kassie looked around trying to catch a glimpse of her. The woman had appeared quite tall, but she couldn't catch sight of her at all. 
'Weird.'
'What's weird?' Rumal chuckled when she jumped and handed her a glass of wine.
'I thought I saw someone, but now she's gone.'
He shrugged. 'She's probably just ducked to the bathroom, Kass. Not weird at all.'

SIAN LEANED AGAINST DARON, RESTING a bit. Her feet ached a little from all the dancing but she still felt good and she tugged his hand. 'Let's go back out.'
The music had changed to a quicker tempo, making her want to dance. They merged with the crowd and Daron slipped his arms around her waist so he could spin her. Sian gave a tiny squeal and grinned when he chuckled.
'What?' She gave him a coy look. 'It's fun.'
She broke off with a sharp gasp, staring in shock over Daron's shoulder.

DARON SPUN, LOOKING AROUND. 'WHAT? What is it?'
The look on Sian's face had frightened him. He turned back, staring anxiously down at her. She had a hand to her chest and a perplexed look on her face.
'I'm sor-ry,' she half stammered, twisting her head this way and that, looking for something. 'I'd swear I just saw a blonde woman peering over your shoulder. She had the freakiest eyes.'
Daron froze. 'What?'

SIAN REPEATED HERSELF. AS SOON as the words left her mouth the second time Daron hauled her to the furthest corner of the room, close to a door. On the way he slapped both Sabyn and Rumal on the shoulder, giving them a look. Alek and a bewildered looking Cat joined them, followed by Elena and Yakov.
'What?' snapped the Sorceress. It was the tensest Sian had seen her.
'She. Is. Here,' Daron hissed the words out.
Yakov's eyes went flat. 'That's not possible.'
Elena gave a terse nod in agreement.
'Tell them what you saw, Sian.' 
She'd never heard this tone from Daron before. The girls watched her, curious. Cat had her head cocked to the side with a look of concern.
'Umm, I saw a blonde woman,' Sian began and then froze.

As the cataclysmic impact disorientated Madeline and her group, the ground quaked with unbelievable passion. Fissures appear one after another as they extended for miles, as one specific fissure led towards the estate. Geater catastrophe arose, as the mountain trembled as the once delicate snow became enraged. Witnessing the creation of an avalanche of untold caliber. Lord Trenaver summoned a dome of protection composed of white light, as earthen hands with the size of a small home gripped the dome. Easily enduring the aftermath, Trenaver released the protective dome as the hands of earth returned to the ground. 

"Lord Trenaver it's a pleasure-" A background member of Madeline's group tried to voice his thanks before the Lord waved his hand. Solemnly staring at the void in the stratosphere that slowly dissipated, he directed his grave expressions towards Madeline's party. 

"Daughter from Snape. It would be in your best interest if you left before death desires to consume you. Even my life is not guaranteed, gather reinforcements from the Ministry or the Order." Lord Trenaver stated in a casual tone, which caused Madeline to frown. 

"Don't inquiry. Notify them that the god of death has descended from his hibernation. The remnant Deathly Hallows whereabouts have also been discovered." The Lord spoke before his wand emitted an emerald beacon of light before he submerged into the earth, disappearing from the group senses.

"Dammit, then what about Niel? If it truly is The Elder, then something grand is going to happen." 

"Madeline what should we do? Should we leave and gather help or…?" 

"If Lord Trenaver is proceeding towards the estate to confront The Elder, then we should rely on that safety net to rescue Niel. But it's most likely plagued with fearsome characters. It isn't a coincidence we intercepted the famous Sven siblings while also witnessing a scuffle involving Xavier Markus. This moment is going to be written in history, either stopping the birth of the Master of Death. The sacrificial heroes that fought the dreaded demon. Only fate knows, but we of the Order neither fear failure nor the betrayers of good." Madeline declared in a grave tone, but her eyes burned with determination. Lifting her head towards the group, once doubtful eyes blazed with youthful spirit. A once departed group became a beacon of assurance to aid the Lord.

"Fuck! Don't let this damnable place collapse on us." Alicia shouted as she summoned golems crafted from soil. Standing at an imposing 13 feet, the five soil-made golems charged at the ruby-eyed cloaked being. Backtracking from the golems as arrows born of fire seemed to desire the life of The Ghost. Summoning a gaseous shield, that nullified the arrows. He waved his wand, as a dark light illuminated the already dim catacombs. Numerous vengeful spirits surrounded Alicia and Niel, as they struggled to combat the spirits and the offensive prowess of The Ghost. 

"Murus Ignis Rupti Sunt!" Niel whispered as a gigantic wall of green flames blocked gaseous spears. Exploding from the impact, the flames dispersed. Using that as an opportunity, Alicia fortified her body in soil and earth as she dashed at The Ghost. As gaseous claws aimed towards her abdomen, she deliberately absorbed the attack. Despite her now haggard appearance as her shield crumbled around her abdomen, shoulders and legs. A beaming smile plastered her face as fire-balls appeared behind her. Once again shielding against the fire, The Ghost looked calmly at Alicia as a gaseous sword formed within his hand. Thrusting towards her head, Alicia bent backwards as the soil transformed into a cube entrapping The Ghost. Regaining her balance, she dispersed the soil cube. Witnessing a sudden sword suddenly pierce into her shoulders, she smirked as she tossed soil into The Ghost eye's. 

"Radius Globi Ignis!" Niel verbalize in a low-pitched tone. A blazing sword of fire that luminated their entire portion of the catacombs, pierced towards The Ghost. Unable to dodge the incoming offense, his gaseous sword transformed into tentacles aiming to capture Alicia. Who only smiled in response as earthen spikes emerged from the ceiling. Using the tentacles to protect his body, the blazing sword impacted onto the tentacles. The impact created a deafening boom that forced the already weak infrastructure to quake fervently, as the catacombs began to collapse. 

"Shit you stupid assholes. Escape towards the library before we become the next set of bones." Pipsqueak squeaked in fear as it flew towards the library, followed by energetic Alicia and the downtrodden Niel. 

"Why the hell has the quakes gotten fiercer? What asshole is causing- woah, what the fuck!" Alicia screamed her hindmost as she summoned an earth-esque boulder that encased the trio. Milliseconds after their encasing, a ferocious earthquake resounded throughout the catacombs. As they felt the increasing pressure of the catacombs constricting onto the boulder. Alicia gritted her teeth as blood leaked from her mouth. 

"Golem Mundi!" Alicia whispered with a passionate tone. The once pressuring catacombs that threatened to squish them to oblivion felt non-existent. Niel looked at Alicia in amazement, whether that was due to her power or happiness of escaping death. Wondering why the boulder started to levitate, he titled his quizzically towards her.

"I summoned a very big golem." Alicia uttered with enthusiasm. 

"Yeah! A big-ass rock dude. No one can really fuck with us now." Pipsqueak butted into the conversation with his passionate ad-lib.

Present.

"...The legends of mountain giants are real?" A member of Madeline's group breathtakingly muttered. The entire party stared at the sky in awe as they witnessed a towering giant that rivaled the heights of prominent sky-scrapers. Sand-esque in pigmentation as it resembled a minotaur crafted from the mountains itself. 

"But what is that giant carrying in its hands? No… way. Niel?" Madeline struggled to speak coherently as she witnessed the boulder open, exposing both Alicia and Niel. The entire party stared dumbfoundedly at the spectacle unfolding within their very eyes. Breathing a sigh of relief as they believed their objective was complete, the group strode with greater urgency as they ascended the mountain towards the estate. 

 Elsewhere, a man of pale tone continued to violently cough blood. As dried-blood painted his orifices and what was once a left arm, a phantom limb. Clutching onto his left side, he stammered and staggered in an unknown environment located within the estate. The only thing occupying his vision was mirrors. Mirrors on the floor, mirrors on the ceiling and mirrors, mirrors and more mirrors. Unable to retain his bottling emotions he lashed out, summoning his wand as gaseous tentacles decimated the infinite mirrors. Surrounded in broken glass, the man noticed a silver light shining onto an ancient entrance hidden behind shelves of books. Amazed by the sudden appearance of a library, his deathly and further pale shade couldn't help but smile in satisfaction.

"He's been quiet for awhile now. Does he have an irreconcilable hatred towards Gregor the Great?" Xavier softly asked Meguri. 

"...Our mother. That is the man that killed both our mother and father. Such hatred I can sympathize but not empathize. I was only a newborn when it occurred, in my eyes, my brother is my father." Meguri asserted in a tone void of emotions. As they continued to travel around the infinite-expanding library. Adamlock remained silent, suppressing the chaotic emotions compelling him to hunt down that pale bastard. Such emotions remained until the trio discovered a section of the library. Suddenly the abundance of bookshelves vanished into non-existence. Rather than non-existent, they became the embodiment of the new world they stumbled upon. A boundless desert that seemed to expand without limit, as books danced around the sapphire sky. Written text that appeared underneath their continuous footsteps, and the blazing sun that seemed to be a book that constantly transformed between two states; book and sun. The desert trembled as an enormous cathedral appeared, rivaling the width and size of a city block. 

 As they entered the cathedral, one thought came to mind; wealth. The walls, ceilings, from the material used to craft the doors, and those used to craft windows; gold. From the exterior to interior, each fraction of space within their visage was purely gold. Even the color of their surroundings hued golden.Yet in such a vast cathedral laid one main prominent feature, an altar. Near the altar was a statue. Sitting upon a chair with a fatherly smile, the man wore spherical glasses as a thunderbolt-esque birthmark rested on his forehead. Wearing what seemed to be the cloak of invisibility crafted from gold, he also held to items in each hand. A wand and a stone. Beneath said gold statue was the altar which contained a coffin that exuded boundless power. Resting upon the coffin were two items. A simple but elegant cloak that was a radiant silver. The second, a stone with such a lustrous golden light, was the only presence of light that existed in the entire cathedral. 

 Adamlock only stared at the brilliance of gold, as it threatened to blind him. Those feelings of hatred, agony and guilt slowly became ambition. Ambition to succeed, ambition to willingly discard his morality. The ambition of a younger boy willing to sacrifice the entire world in order to embrace the first woman he loved; his mother. Such thoughts and dreams became a possibility with the stone that shined greater than the afternoon sun.
