A Young Pokemon Fan who Peaked in Elementary School and a Car Crash... What could go Wrong?

We are born as twins. My younger sister Skull Shadow, she was born 5 minutes after when I was born. The both of us look nothing alike, I have black fur, black ears, white skin, blue mouth, blue eyes, and blue paws. My sister, well she is quite unique, she was born with a skull head, blue eyes, and all black fur. Yes, you could say that we are Nekos, but my younger sister being the unique kind of Neko. We are both born on October 31st, 2323, on our home planet called Fluftopia. It's where all Nekos can roam free from the evil overlord named Plum Fort. She has been trying to take over our planet for centuries with her dogs because she hated every single Neko. Anyways, that's for another story for next time. "Blue, where are you?" says Skull. "I'm over here little sis", I said, as Skull came around the corner to my room. "Found you, what have you been up too sis?, says Skull. "Well Skull, I'm writing a story about us twins, even though we don't look alike and our life on Fluftopia", I said. "Oh that's so cool, do we defeat any bad guys in your story?" Skull asked, "No," I said "not yet anyways, I've just started writing it." "Oh, ok" said Skull, "but later in your story we do?" "Yes, we do little sis", I said. "Girls, time to go to school" Mom said. "We are coming Mom!", as I yelled downstairs. Skull and I rushed to pack our school supplies into our backpacks. "Don't forget your lunches girls" Mom said, "I love you both dearly equally, hope you both enjoy your first day of school." "Thanks Mom, I love you too," I said, "Thanks Mama, I love you too" Skull said, as we walked out the front door to catch our bus. The bus pulls up in front of our house, "good morning, Mr.Godfrey", we said. "Good morning girls, are you both ready for first day of school?", Mr.Godfrey asks, "Yes we are Mr.Godfrey, ready then we ever been", says Skull. "That's good to hear, climb aboard to Winters Elementary School", Mr.Godfrey said. Skull and I climbed onto the bus, into an empty seat where we both can sit together. This is our first day of Grade 6, and our first day to a new school. I hope that this day doesn't go badly for us, because our previous elementary school we gotten bullied a lot due to no one believing us that we are twins. "Next stop, Winters Elementary School!" Mr.Godfrey said. We live about a 10 minute drive away from Winters Elementary School, in a nice new neighborhood with some amazing neighbors. "Hey sis, look" Skull said, "there is Winters Elementary school." "Wow, this seems like a really nice school so far, am I right Skull?" I asked, "yes it is Blue, it really is", Skull said. The bus stops right in front of Winters Elementary school, "Alright everyone, Welcome to Winters Elementary School, I sure hope you all have a great first day of school today," Mr.Godfrey said. "Thank you, Mr.Godfrey," we said at the same time.

This is a story about Blue Shadow, and Skull Shadow (the twins), help save Fluftopia their home planet from an evil overlord named Plum Fort and her evil pet dogs.

"There's a whole crowd outside," one of the high schoolers opened their window.
 
Currently, all of us were stationed outside their dorms. When the doors opened from our efforts, everyone immediately rushed in to visit the people that they knew. Time was the biggest factor here. I didn't even want to know what would happen if the fire spread to the elementary school section, full of young kids.
 
"I'll go visit Haruka and Ethan," Charles let us know.
 
"We'll stay outside, letting people know about what's happening for the ones who leave without knowing about the situation," Alex volunteered with Shelly.
 
"We'll visit the rest then," I shot a look at Luke.
 
Luke nodded his head as we first began to pound his brother's door. He also sent them a message while we created a ruckus on the top floor. Unfortunately, it took them a few minutes to open the door.
 
"There's a fire in the middle school section," I let Luke handle the rest before running off to Ben and Alice.
 
Both Lucius and Belle appeared stunned as they started to process everything in their brains. When Luke finished telling them everything he knew, he immediately ran to Yulee and Jules, not waiting for their response. We needed to split up to get to more people.
 
"What's wrong?" Ben opened his door with the first knock when I was about to call him.
 
"There's a fire in the middle school section," I repeated myself.
 
"All the middle schoolers were able to escape into the high school section," I explained why everyone was pounding on their doors.
 
"Is this true?" Claire opened her door, right beside Ben's room.
 
I was glad that they were starting to wake up from all the noise, saving us the time from making them open their doors. We needed to get as much help as possible. I decided to explain what happened to everyone at once, using my marble to amplify my voice again.
 
I chanted the spell as I explained, "a bomb was aimed towards one of the rooms. A fire broke out and the whole building collapsed. Now it's spreading to everywhere in the middle school section. We don't know when the other barriers like the elementary or high school one will collapse as well. It feeds off mana too."
 
"This is serious," Alice crossed her arms.
 
"Oliver is already out to get the teachers. Unfortunately, some of them are out at exterminate some monsters near the overall barrier. The ones that said they'll come aren't here yet too," I announced.
 
Meaning, we were left to solve this problem on our own. I swiped my screen to accept the call when my marble rang. Oili's face appeared with Ellen and Allan. It looked like it wasn't good news from their faces.
 
There was a mixture of fear, panic and anger. Oili opened his mouth, "the teachers are overrun with monsters so the soonest they can come is one hour from now. The ones in the office went to help them."
 
"The fire is almost near the barrier too," Ellen continued to watch the fire.
 
I swiped one more time to let Alex join in. He appeared equally as exhausted with Shelly in a place I didn't know. I wondered where they were, but the scenery appeared very familiar. Where did I see this hallway from?
 
"The fire already destroyed the other barrier and is starting to spread into the elementary school section. We sent most of the people who volunteered to help there," Shelly showed me the scene.
 
Everyone gasped as they stared at the horrifying scene. This was the exact pathway I used to sneak out during elementary school. Now, some of the buildings were collapsing as the high school students started to set up a barrier. There were so many places to focus on like the elementary school dorms that everyone was spread thin.
 
"We'll send as many people as we can there," Claire answered.
 
Both Yulian and Claire ran to start to recruit more people, not waiting for the call to finish. I knew they had more news to tell as I waited for them to begin. Before they could, my marble vibrated again as Luke also wanted to join the call.
 
"Rika, we need help on our end to let the elementary school students escape from the school," Jules showed the scene of evacuated young children.
 
Both Yulee and Luke tried to comfort the young children as much as possible. However, it didn't stop a few of them from crying or trembling in fear. But most of them appeared mature and tried to keep as calm as possible.
 
"There are monsters outside, near the barrier," Oili repeated for the new people who joined the call.
 
The barrier started to crack on Oili's end as they jumped in surprise. My head started to hurt since I didn't know what to do. We needed to stop the fire from spreading further in both the elementary and high school sections. Plus, we needed to let the elementary school kids escape while there were monsters outside.
 
We were fighting on three fronts. And I didn't know where the elementary school kids would even escape to. I tapped on the screen once more when Charles also wanted to join the call. What more bad news were they going to bring me?
 
"We already recruited all the people we could. There's no more people we can send," He sighed from all the messages he got.

I was captured and put onto a stake to be lit on fire as part of the ongoing witch hunt conducted throughout the land. I had to do something. But, this life really sucked. 

This all started when I was accidentally killed by God. 

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to kill you. It was just that I was overworked lately by my superior and I just wanted some time to relax and vent my stress out," he confessed.

"So, while I was snacking, I accidentally dropped one potato chip into the human realm where the child tripped over the potato chip onto a den of steep stairs." God guilty admitted.

So I reincarnated into the most adorable girl with the largest orange-speckled eyes that contrasted her pale white skin void of any imperfections.

'How could someone look this pretty?' I thought as I admired my new appearance.

I was nowhere close to this pretty in my previous life. Did God put me into this new vessel as an apology?

But some things were too good to be true.

"The nice way is where you willingly come with us back to the first district and the hard way is where we forcibly take you back, which would be hard for all of us," Lucius gave me a warning.
Why was my life so depressing? He practically meant I didn’t have a choice!

Few months later, I was at a party that I planned to escape from my fiancé’s family.
"I still get to continue with my naps on the weekends?" I tried to confirm with them.
No one answered as I almost cried from giving up my rare nap times from the mess I got involved with. This life was too bothersome!

"Huh? What do you mean?" Stunned, Xiaotu stopped dead in her tracks.
"Brother Orange Juice is older than you are. He has already finished preschool and is about to start the fourth grade of elementary school." Xiaotu's mother patted Xiaotu's fluffy little head and explained this to her with great regret.
"What is the fourth grade of elementary school?"
"It is…" Xiaotu's mother thought this over carefully for a moment, and then explained it to her patiently. "After you finish preschool, kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and third grade, then you can start the fourth grade of elementary school.
"Huh?" Xiaotu's little red mouth hung open in complete and utter shock.
"Then...how long will it take for me to get there?"
"Not long, not long, just about six years," Xiaotu's mother said with a smile.
"So I'll have to wait six years until I can attend fourth grade together with Brother Orange Juice?"
"Oh, no, honey, by the time you reach fourth grade, Brother Orange Juice will already be in the second year of high school."
"What is the second year of high school?"
"You'll reach the second year of high school after you finish the fifth grade of elementary school, the sixth grade of elementary school, the first year of middle school, the second year of middle school, the third year of middle school, and then the first year of high school." Xiaotu's mother wiped the sweat from her forehead again as she explained it to Xiaotu, counting each grade level.
"Huh?" Xiaotu was having a hard time understanding the concepts of elementary school, middle school, and high school. She was, however, vaguely getting the sense that it seemed so extraordinarily difficult for her and Brother Orange Juice to attend school together. As she began to understand this, the tears started to stream down her face. WAH! WAH! "No, I want to go to school together with Brother Orange Juice…"
AHEM! AHEM! "Uh, the preschool class has an advanced section, and you can have Brother Orange Juice take you there and then pick you up every day." Seeing her daughter start to cry, Xiaotu's mother quickly started to try and console her by beating around the bush. "This way, you can still get to see Brother Orange Juice every day."
"Then will he go to school together with me?" With her eyes wide and teary, Xiaotu asked her mother in a pitiful tone.
"Uh, no, not exactly…"
WAH! WAH! WAH!
Xiaotu started wailing at the top of her lungs.

It was the first day for the preschool's advanced section, and there were five days left until school started for Cheng Zhiyan.
In the early morning, in the company of Xiaotu's mother and Cheng Zhiyan, Xiaotu unwillingly arrived at preschool. When all of the preschool teachers came over to greet and hug Xiaotu, she clung to Cheng Zhiyan's neck for dear life and started wailing at the top of her lungs. Her screeching howl echoed throughout the entire preschool.
After Xiaotu's mother had finally managed to coax Xiaotu into going inside, she quickly grabbed Cheng Zhiyan and promptly hightailed it out of there.
"Auntie, must we run so fast?" Cheng Zhiyan turned his head back and glanced toward the gates of the preschool with an expression of concern as he asked Xiaotu's mother.
"Of course, or else Xiaotu will cling to you and howl all morning." Xiaotu's mother walked with her bicycle as she said to Cheng Zhiyan, "Don't worry, children all start out like this when they first start preschool, but the crying and tantrums will eventually subside after a month or two. Yet for these first few days, I'll have to bother you and ask you to please pick up Xiaotu every afternoon."
"All right, then…" Cheng Zhiyan nodded a little hesitantly.
"Okay, thank you. Auntie will be off to work, and you should return home now." Xiaotu's mother waved good-bye to Cheng Zhiyan as she rode away on her bicycle.

Yun Zhu was now studying in first grade in the best elementary school of Longmen City, Wuning Yi Elementary School.
Wuning Yi Elementary School was the best school in Longmen City, much like Longmen Yi Junior High School and Di Yi Senior High School that Yun Jian and Yun Yi were respectively studying in.
Yun Jian took a bus and arrived at the school gate of Wuning Yi Elementary School.
She was just dismissed from school, so she still carried a shoulder bag, coming straight to pick up Yun Zhu before she could do anything about it
This was a public school with a high quality teaching faculty. Those who could enroll in it were, of course, wealthy folks.
Once the kids were dismissed from school, their parents picked them up at the classroom doors.
Traffic was busy outside the school gate. In 1998, it was more common to see parents picking their children up on bicycles. There were those with motorcycles too but they were the minority. As for the cars parked there, the number could be counted with one hand.
Hence, the parents who were picking their children up in cars liked driving into the school ground to flash the symbol of their wealth.
Yun Jian took the public bus here, not preferring to pick up Yun Zhu with her high profile Ferrari sports car.
Children this age were still in elementary school but there was already the trend of jumping on bandwagons in class. It was especially clear in kids whose parents had taught to play only with their rich classmates since a young age. This way, their children would benefit from the friend's wealthy background as well.
In spite of it, Yun Jian did not want her younger brother to become the kid in class who was befriended for his money.
Trailing after the parents into the gate of Wuning Yi Elementary School, Yun Jian arrived at Yun Zhu's class shortly.
A prominent triangular plate hung on the outside of the classroom door printed with a few large red words—Class 1.
This was the class that Yun Zhu was in. With her bag across her shoulder, Yun Jian walked there, looking in from the window at the corridor, and saw little Yun Zhu sitting up straight at the first row with his eyes trained on the teacher.
It was not yet dismissal time but parents crowded outside classrooms for their children.
Yun Zhu was not tall, so he was seated in the first row. Yun Jian could spot his little head clearly from the corridor outside.
The teacher seemed to have said "dismiss" as the kids in the classroom packed up their bags like a hurricane swept over them.
Little Yun Zhu packed up his bag and stuck his head out, quickly spotting Yun Jian. Filled with delighted surprise that she was the one who was picking him up, he ran out with his bag immediately.
"Jiejie!" Yun Zhu barreled into Yun Jian's embrace.
"Did Xiao Zhu listen to the teacher well today?" Yun Jian petted his head and took over his bag, asking.
Yun Zhu shook his head and looked up at her stubbornly only for Yun Jian to see tears running down his small puffy cheeks.
"What's wrong?" With a frown, Yun Jian squatted down to ask Yun Zhu who looked unwavering with tear tracks on his face.
"Are you Yun Zhu's elder sister?" A voice suddenly rang from the side.
Turning around, Yun Jian saw the female teacher who had been standing in front of the classroom coming to her. An ostentatious-looking woman stood beside the teacher, holding a fair and fat boy in her hand.
Before Yun Jian said anything to the teacher, the woman beside said teacher broke out condemning her with a finger pointed at Yun Zhu.
"You're his elder sister? Humph, great. You didn't know that your brother shoved my son without a reason today, yeah? And he scratched my son's hand too! What is wrong with your brother? My son's so precious, are you able to make up for the loss!"
With a hand on the fat fair boy, the woman shouted at Yun Jian overbearingly.

After roughly two hours had passed, Karna could feel the presence of two feel in front of his courtyard. He immediately recognized the two people as Kurono and Nene. He quickly ceased his training and called Est back to the contract seal on his right hand. Even though others were unable to see Est, Karna didn't want to bet on his relatively low luck against admittedly two of the strongest Blazers in the world.

Immediately after Est had vanished, the door to his courtyard had opened as the two women entered inside. When their eyes fell on Karna, Nene was quick to remark "Seems like you were training, before we arrived. You're as diligent and serious as always.....so boring."

After Nene finished, Kurono also spoke "We watched your battles in your school from afar. You won your first match as soon as the match started and your two other opponents surrendered. I would expect nothing less from someone who is to become my student."

"You are powerful, but try to make the battles a bit more exciting even if your opponents are total weaklings. At least try to show off a bit, otherwise it's just boring to watch your fights." Nene added after Kurono.

Since Karna knew that Nene was just trying to have some fun, he didn't say anything. Karna was of the belief that time was an incredibly precious asset that should never be wasted, so e wasn't really interested in showing off and elongating a fight that could have ended in an instant. Karna knew very well that Nene was also a person who valued time as she always tried to end a fight as soon as possible and she avoided unnecessary fights, though she could easily get angry.

Karna decided to focus on more pressing matters as he stated "Since I have officially enrolled in an Elementary School, it's time for both of you to keep your word."

"Yes, yes, we know that you are eager to train and all. You should loosen up a bit sometimes. But since telling you such a thing is useless, so your training will be starting from today." Kurono said. She was a very easy going person, but when it came to serious matters, she never slacked off.

"Karna, before your training starts under the two of us, let's get somethings out of the way. Being the disciple of both of us comes with burdens as you must succeed in all the tasks we give you and you must reached or succeed out expectations. You are already an extremely talented individual, so we know that it wouldn't take much time for you to complete apprenticeship under both of us." Nene said as she transitioned into a more serious demeanor than her usual lazy personality.

"Currently you are six years old and your training under the both of us will continue to train you for six years, meaning all six years of your Elementary School till you graduate from Elementary School, meaning your training will end the moment you turn 12 years old. But with your level of talent, it might end even earlier." Kurono said.

Nene continued to speak after Kurono "But regardless, among the different take we give you, one of your most important tasks will be to win the first place in the Little League Tournament that would be held this year. I am sure you already know, Little League is a tournament held for Elementary School children across Japan, once every year. But your most important task will be to win first place in the U-12 World Tournament that would be held two years later, menacing your third year in Elementary School." 

She then went on to explain about the U-12 World Tournament and it's significance as well as the rules of both tournaments. Compared to the Little League, which was held across Japan, the U-12 World Tournament as it's name suggests, was a Tournament held for Blazers of Elementary School age worldwide. It was arranged by the League of Mage-Knight Nations.

The U-12 World Tournament was infinitely more important than the Little League and through it your name would spread worldwide, gaining you worldwide recognition and fame as well as thousands of opportunities for the future. It was held once every six years, so most Blazers could participate in it only once in their Elementary School years...

Chapter 7: Precious Memory with Family

Well the data Asta had collected will be stored in Asta database for now as we are not able to start our own mecha company.

My first priority now is to increase spirit power and physical conditioning. Mecha operating will have to wait until I am 10 years old. As a rule of tumb children are only allowed to operate mecha after they are 10 years old. Thid is because research in the country have shown that operating a mecha below 10 years old will be detrimental to the growth of the young body.

My second priority now is to study on the components of the mecha, the engineering aspects of the mecha and the software programme. The software programme can easily be created by Asta to the best effect but isn't it more fufilling to create a mecha yourself.

Time pass quickly, I turn 5 years old and spring has arrive. Just one more year and I will be attending the  elementary school. There is 2 types of elementary school I can join, either a military elementary school or a general elementary school. Military elementary school start the children young in training to be future soldier and it will be easier to develop in the future when they train younger as children are more adaptable. Whereas general elementary school teach general lessons and touch on a bit of the military to generate some interest in some children. Most general elementary school children will continue their path up to general civilian career.

Thus it is obvious for me to choose the military elementary school so I can be a mecha pilot in the future. However the downside is that military school require students to stay in the school. Only allowing student to return home during the holiday or special permission and event.

So with the remaining time I have, I spent less time training and more fun time with my family. With the previous incident, I have learnt to cherish my time with my family and not take the time we have for granted. 

It is fun and relaxing to spend time with the family, playing and fooling as a child. Especially fooling around with my lovable mischievous younger sister, Qin Shui. She had turned 3 years old and had developed a mischievous personality, liking to play and yet clever too. She is both playful yet affectionate, wanting attention from the whole family as she is the princess of the family. Despite that our parents and myself also pamper her and shower her with lots of love. I also make time to play her, creating a lot of chaos in the house, like pranking the maids and servants as well as making a mess in the kitchen trying to make delicious food.

My father as always has been busy, still manage to come home with some time to spend quality time with the family and so we decided to go for a week of vacation. 

We went out to a popular family vacation resort island where many family come to enjoy the time with their kids. The vacation resort is design to look less tech like and more attune to the nature, which it a good place to be relax and  away from the hustle and bustle of the city life.

After dropping our essential in the vacation house we had rented. Qin Shui excitedly dragged mother and I to the beach and start playing. We enjoyed playing in the beach, swimming leisurely in the water, playing beach friendly beach volleyball and building sandcastle. Father especially spent lots of time playing with us to make up for the lost time he was not with us and to show his fatherly love to his children. Happy laughter and squeaks was heard continuously as we fool around and even splashing water at one another. Mother occasionally join us in playing but prefer to lay down on a beach chair under the sun and watch over us playing around.

"Don't forget to be careful as you run around, children, I don't want anybody to trip and fall" reminded mother with motherly concern.

Now that I pay attention, father look really young even though he is approaching his 30s. He is handsome and give out a composed temperamental. He has similar hair color of black color and deep red eyes. It can be easily seen that we are father and son, as I inherited most of his look except for the eye which are purple. On the other hand Qin Shui has a more striking resemblance with mother with red eyes of father. Overall it can be seen that our parents have beautiful looks and we had inherited the good genes.

Our butler accompanied and follow us around, taking photos along as we played around. The resort island also provide lots of entertainment services, like spa, arcade for the kids and even movie theater. We then ate delicious seafood like chilli crab, large oyster, barbecued fish, prawns and etc by the beach. 

After dinner, we played with fireworks and enjoy the night sky full of the dazzling stars, the moon and the beautiful sea. Enjoying the peace and beauty of the sea as we sat there gazing. The day ends with sleeping in a comfy bed. We continue this cycle for the week of vacation, playing, relaxing and seeking the beauty of nature.

Finally, at the end of the vacation, we took a family photo together with our butler and headmaid to commemorate and record this precious and fun memory. 

"On the count of three, 3,2,1 cheese" a maid said as she took the family photo

In the photo, my parent, Qin Lang and Qin Xue stand in the middle. My mother, wearing a graceful white color dress with her hair tied up holding little shui on her arm while little shui is hugging mother happily. I stood in front of father  smiling while he patted my head proudly. He is only wearing his swimming shorts and look handsome with his tone body. Our butler standing beside father while the headmaid stand beside mother. The background of the photo is the beach and the vacation house we stayed at. In the photo, it can be seen that everyone are smiling and enjoyed the vacation.

introduction: In a world to the future where technology have advance leaps and bounds. Civilization have manage to spread throughout the galaxy. This is a story about a youth being transmigrated into another world where there is Mecha and cultivation. There are giant monsters roaming the galaxy and big spaceship fleet in the vast world.

Ever since she evolved, this was the first time Lin Sanjiu doubted her eyesight. But, no matter how many times she looked at the route map, the next stop was still Mausoleum Elementary Station—the stop which was originally after Kisaragi Station had now been changed to 'Home'. 
"What does this mean? Is it forcing me to alight at this station?" Lin Sanjiu stood still in the same spot while she thought about the situation. When she looked up again, she discovered that, somehow, once again, it was dark outside the train. It looked exactly like the previous part of the track before she arrived at Mausoleum Elementary.
Even though she didn't know how the train managed to operate in this manner, Lin Sanjiu decided that she would clench her teeth and alight at Mausoleum Elementary Station if she really did not have a choice. No matter how normal this train was compared to that elementary school, she knew she couldn't possibly stay on this train for fourteen months without eating or drinking.
Lin Sanjiu did not know what to make of this situation as she walked back to sit in her original seat, feeling a little confused and perplexed. Thinking about it rationally, she would feel better if she sat down, as it would help her preserve some energy, but she couldn't explain why she didn't feel like sitting. Previously, she faced the same situation. She took quite a while to convince herself to sit—Lin Sanjiu looked around at the other seats. Regardless, she didn't want to go near any of the seats.
"Nevermind. I should search for some clues in this train... If it doesn't work out, I will smash open the door to the driver's compartment." However, given the circumstances, Lin Sanjiu figured out that the driver's compartment was probably empty. She grumbled and dragged her feet through all train carriages and started inspecting every detail.
The fluorescent light in the train carriage flickered. Lin Sanjiu was all alone. The train was traveling through a seemingly endless dark tunnel. Occasionally, the train would swerve left or right, and Lin Sanjiu would hold on to the train handle to maintain her balance. This time, she found many details she failed to notice previously. But they seemed almost useless...
"A flatten cigarette butt proves that there were other people here in the past, right? Why is there an advertisement leaflet here..."
Finding these items, which reminded her of her previous normal daily life, meant that there was some sign of human activity. This calmed Lin Sanjiu's anxiety quite a bit. Once she relaxed a little, she found it funny that she felt an aversion for the train seats. She shook her head and forced herself to sit down in a seat beside the train door. She actually planned to sit down to reserve her energy and compose herself. But seconds after she sat down, before she could think about the unusual aspects of this world, she heard a soft screech from the train brakes. The train slowed down almost instantaneously—she looked up and saw the train gradually driving toward the station platform.
[It has been less than 20 minutes, isn't this a little too fast compared to the previous time?]
The dot which represented 'Home' and the dot which represented 'Mausoleum Elementary' were still very far apart, so she assumed that it would take at least a few hours before the train arrived at the station again. She stood up to alight from the train, feeling very uncertain, but her heart froze for a second without warning.
When she saw Mausoleum Elementary the previous time, the position of the school was directly outside the very carriage she was in. Oddly, when she moved down another five train carriages, the position of the elementary school was still directly outside, such that her field of vision was still in line with the gates of the elementary school. This was the same scene she experienced previously.
It was almost as if the gates of the school were moving according to her position. When the teachers and children saw her, they smiled even more brilliantly. This time, Lin Sanjiu could even see the mole on the teacher's cheek very clearly.
This was because... the road had disappeared.
Previously, there was definitely a narrow road from the train station to the school. Without this road, Lin Sanjiu couldn't imagine how people would actually walk to the school. On the other hand, without the road, the entrance to Mausoleum Elementary was almost right outside the glass wall of the train station. It was as though the entire school had shifted one large step forward.
Naturally, the people standing at the gates of the school were now closer to the train station. Yet, he didn't even consider moving back one step. Lin Sanjiu could still see the smile under his squished, crooked nose.
"If I don't alight here, are they coming over to receive me?" A terrifying thought surfaced in Lin Sanjiu's mind. She had made a firm decision to alight just a few minutes ago, but right now her determination had faded like melting snow in spring. She turned her head back and watched the cigarette butt, lying on the floor of the carriage, silently. She immediately felt that it was safer staying on the train. [Anyone else would also refuse to get off the train, right?]
[If I don't get off the train, those people might not... come to get me... Maybe, I am overthinking about this?]
The train door beeped twice almost like it was urging her to quickly make a decision. Lin Sanjiu clenched her teeth and was about to take an irrevocable step forward when she caught a glimpse of a ball of paper stuffed in the seat she was sitting previously, it was sticking out from the crevice between the back support and the cushion of the seat. She thought she saw someone's handwriting on the piece of paper as well.
When she was sitting, she didn't noticed it because of its angle. If she didn't hesitate for some time at the door, she would have missed that item...
Lin Sanjiu's heart thumped loudly, she felt like a student who had finally found an excuse not to go to school. She retreated from the door, as if escaping. When she stuck her hand into the crevice of the seat, the door closed once again.
Meanwhile, the teacher and students standing outside the glass window did not look even one bit disappointed. Their smiles were still the same. But now, each and every pair of eyes followed the train as it moved until their pupils reached the corners of their eyes.
Lin Sanjiu only let out a sigh of relief when the school disappeared out of sight. She pinched the ball of paper with her fingers and pulled it out hurriedly. As she was a bit careless, she tore the paper a little.
The paper was very thin, and it appeared to be a torn corner of a newspaper without any print. There were indeed some hand-written words on the piece of paper. Lin Sanjiu quickly unraveled the paper. When she saw the words, she couldn't help heaving a sigh of relief, as it was Chinese.
Concentrating, Lin Sanjiu read the note again and she felt a chill all over. She felt fearful as she remembered what just happened.
"Do not alight from the train! You must not alight from the train—"
It looked like a female's handwriting. It was quite messy, as if the person had scribbled this note in a hurry. Half of the second 'train' on the note had been torn. There was definitely words on the other half of the paper but Lin Sanjiu didn't know where it was.
[Do not alight from the train!] Momentarily, this was the only sentence which echoed in Lin Sanjiu's mind. Cold wind continued blowing at her. Shivering and at a loss as to what to do, she looked up. If it was up to her, she didn't want to get off this train either. She might have limited food supply, but with that [Vending Machine], it wasn't really a pressing problem.
The real problem now was...
Lin Sanjiu stared fixedly at the train's route map. The next stop was still Mausoleum Elementary Station. [What should I do if that teacher and her students come even closer the next time around.]
And... she couldn't help thinking about a horrible thing. If the girl who wrote the note didn't alight from the train... where was the girl now?
