Hi guys, Monmu here, I need you to do me a favor. So, I have this English assignment where I need to write a short story, and I don't want to mess things up. But as a lot of you might know, I'm not a native English speaker. You guys have been really tolerant with my errors in this novel, but now, if you're first language was English, or you're confident with your English level, I need you to help me finding any vocab, grammar or run on sentence mistake, even if they are really small ones! It will make me a great favor!
For this short story, I pretty much reused element of "Boku no quirk is random", but it has nothing to do with the fanfic itself. So, you can ignore it, or perhaps just read it for fun. As I said in the last notification, I'll upload the novel's chapters in a month (April 7th).

Hii! This is my first original story to be published and I am very happy that I finally took the courage to post it. I've been working on the plot for a long time (more than three months) and I've been really enjoying the result, so I hope you enjoy it too!
Before I start, I'd like to give some warnings...
First, in some moments of the story it may happen that some trigger scenes appear, but I will always warn you before the chapter starts and I will tell you exactly what appears so that nobody is caught by surprise.
Second: There will be three main couples in the story:
Genevieve X Seph, Mao X Daryll and Shin X Mohan.
Third, as some elements of the story are a bit complex, it may get quite confusing at first for some, so I'll leave here a mini dictionary with some important terms and information of the story. So, you already enter with some knowledge of the story so you don't feel lost and, when you are in doubt, you don't need to hunt the information quoted by the chapters and can come back here whenever you want.

                                       IMPORTANT TERMS AND NAMES


Energy: Technical term for the magic that all humans in Galdur have inside their bodies. It can be compared to the magical cores in question of power, but the energy, unlike the core, is not concentrated in a specific part of the body and is spread over all members.
Vital Energy: Positive energy that is developed over time and causes no negative effect on the individual (unless used in excess). It requires a lot of practice and is not completely controlled until one reaches the age of 18. It has undergone changes over the years and today it is classified as the only form of good magic, no longer being exclusively a defensive practice. Some subgenres of the Vital Energy are: Elemental Magic (it uses the four elements of nature), Alchemy, Conjuration and Transmutation.
Resentful Energy: Negative energy that can be developed at any time and in very short time. It causes great mood changes in the individual and, because it is quite unstable, such energy does not have an exact age to become controllable, allowing accidents to be very common in any phase of the person's life. It has undergone changes over the years and today is classified as the worst form of malignant magic, and no longer exclusively a practice of attacking the enemy. Some of its subgenres are: Demonic Magic, Necromancy, Restoration, Invocation
NOTE: Throughout history these subgenres will be explained in more details.
Dragon's Heart: A magical core originated from the concentration of energy in an individual. It is known as the strongest form of complete magic for being able to create harmony between Resentful Energy and Vital Energy. Like the resentful energy, it is extremely difficult to control, and it is an extremely dangerous practice in which many of people have died, trying to form the dragon's heart core. Up to now, only two people are known to have achieved the feat.
Celestial weapons: Every weapon that has a spirit inhabiting it, making it much stronger in a matter of magic and power. Usually consisting of warrior spirits, who didn't accept his death and are still willing to fight. Warriors and sorcerers who possess these weapons, have an absolutely higher status than others who use normal weapons.
Kalil: Celestial weapon of the divinity of war, Mao. It is the most famous and known sword in the magical world for harboring the total of one hundred vengeful spirits and for being extremely powerful.
Demonic Pact: Deal made with some kind of demon, in which is necessary to extract the blood of the interested party and be consumed by the demon. Depending on the situation, it may be forced or not.
Your Leader: Term used to refer to the leader of a clan.
Crown Heir: The next in the lineage of leadership to the clan.
My Lord/My Lady: Term used to refer to a nobleman of the clan, who is not the leader.
Holy Divinity: Term to refer to a guardian divinity. To become a deity, one must be on the verge of death and be chosen, for some reason, by the gods to be saved. Those chosen are very rare and can take thousands of years for such an event to happen.
Supreme God: Name given to the greatest God in heaven.
Heaven: Home of the gods that guard and control Galdur. The name can also be used to refer to the gods in general (Example: This is a task given by the heavens).

Genevieve Galbraith is a 17-year-old girl who lived a relatively good life. Her parents were excellent and treated her very well, she was extremely beautiful and her family had a lot of money. She could be considered perfect if not for a problem.

This was a nightmare she had every night, every time she lay down to sleep, fighting in a medieval and magical world, but would always end up dying in the end.

Even scared by how realistic he was, Genevieve thought that these dreams could only be part of her own imagination. Except that in the last days, strange things started to happen around her, making her go in search of answers about herself.

The two paragraphs of information below are suggested to read so you have a strong understanding of the story. Without reading this information, you may be confused in some of the fights and conversations that take place throughout the story.

Information on the elements have been published in government documents, which are then given out at any government official building. The document states that there are seven known elements. They are the same as I stated above and multiple can be found in one elemental. Theoretically, one can wield one, to all seven elements. Only one elemental today has been known to have the ability to wield five elements. There are around fifty that can wield two, thirty who can wield three, and fifteen who can wield four. So as you can see, it's quite uncommon to wield multiple elements. The document also states that elements can be combined to form combination elements. We call these elementals, fused elementals. These elementals wield two elements, but they are fused together. For example, William Shroffet, the man who can wield five elements is not a fused elemental. This means he can wield the lighting element and the dark element separately. Whereas one who wields two elements fused together would wield them both at once. An example is black lightning. It's the lightning element, and the dark element fused. There are 49 fusion combinations known in the field of fused elementals that wield two elements. So far it is only known for fused elementals to wield only two elements. There have been zero recorded fused elementals that wield three or more elements. At low levels, elements can counter each other. The order goes... Water counters fire, lightning counters water, dark counters lightning, light counters dark, lunar counters light, blood counters lunar, and fire counters blood. When an elemental brings there element(s) to a high level, the above counter strategy no longer works as it is only effective against low level elementals.

 The chance of becoming an elemental is quite low, currently the percentage shows 0.0005% chance. This percentage is gradually increasing, but is expected to be steady in the near future. A reported of roughly three people per country has become an elemental every two days, not including anyone who hasn't told anyone. Therefore it's probably a slightly higher chance. People can be tested for lying about not being an elemental by using a mechanism that contains all seven elements in capsules. If any of the capsules light up green, then they are an elemental. The capsule(s) that light up green are the element(s) that they can wield. If any two combination of elements light up blue, then they are a fused elemental that wields those two elements fused together. If all the capsules light up red, then they will be negative for being a elemental. Over a short amount of time, an elementals body will change based on the elements they wield. Such as having noticeably blue features for one who wields water. Some change randomly such as a significant height increase, or ear shape that results in better hearing. Even blind people have been completely restored due to their eyes being altered. Every elementals body changes in some way, they all at least get changes it the eyes, but some have many changes to their body.

-> Those who can control mana energy to create an elemental-based energy. Consists of eight elements of the world.

-> Those who can master more than one element. Elementalists from the human race can only master one element, which leaves this class for the Dragonians and other races.
4. Healer
-> Those who can convert mana energy into a soothing light that can heal and cure creatures. Healers are comprised of Level 1 to Level 4 Healing.
5. Grand Healer
-> Those who can convert and extend mana energy into a warmth yet soothing light that can heal and cure creatures. Grand Healers are comprised of Level 5 to Level 7 Healing.
6. Support Mage
-> Those who can use mana energy to provide supporting power to creatures or for short, creating buffs to one's stats.
7. Explorer
-> Those who were spirited to venture into the unknown parts of the world to explore new things. Most of them were elementalists consisting of Level 2 to Level 4.

-> Those who works as a free-lancing soldier. Accepting requests from their guild or personally by their clients as long as they're paid.

Sirius is making his way in his own room, but along the way he met his mother Emily. Emily was surprised when she saw Sirius walking alone in the hallway without maid accompanying him, what's more is Sirius has a serious face on him and thinking something.

"Ara, Sirius what are you doing in the hallway alone? And seems like there's something troubling you, come tell mom what is troubling you." Emily said with a gentle expression on her face.

Emily's sudden arrival surprise Sirius, but her arrival was on time because he needed someone to clarify his mind. So Sirius ask.

"Mom, can you use magic?" Sirius asked cutely with his innocent face.

"Ara, my dear are you perhaps wondering wether magic like in your story books are real?" Emily ask.

"Uhmm" Sirius nodded vigorously.
"Because almost all of my story books are all about heroes rescuing princess and they are using magic!" He added.

"Dear the magic in your books are real, any person that has talent on magic can use magic ."  Emily smiled sweetly to her child.

When Sirius heard what his mother said he started formulating a new plan on how to use magic. Then his eyes suddenly lit up, he is staring in the person in front of him, his mother. Sirius suddenly put his innocent smiley face.

"Mom, can you use magic?" Sirius ask out of nowhere.

Emily was shock when she heard his 4 year old son asked if she can use magic or not. Emily suddenly smiled then put a confident smile on her face and said.

"Of course my dear I can use magic, but im not good as your dad!" 

Sirius become excited when he heard from his mother that his dad is awesome in terms of magic. He didn't expect that his dad that looks like a gigolo is awesome at magic. He was so excited that his face started to change color from white to red. Sirius now looks like an apple, Emily was surprised to see another expression of his son. 

When Sirius is growing up til now the only expression Emily saw from his son extreme curiosity, aside from curiosity she didn't see another. But now when they are talking about magic Sirius showed another expression, and that is excitement. Emily was so happy about this change, then she suddenly thought an idea to deeper the bonding between her and her son.

"Dear do you want to learn magic?" Emily suddenly asked.

"Yes please!" Sirius replied immediately.

His immediate reply was within Emily's expectation, she knew that Sirius will agree immediately if she asked her. That is because she can see the excitement in his face. Emily's face was grinning ear to ear , now she found a way to have her son show more expressions. She started teaching Sirius how to use magic after she ended her train of thought.

"But first we must know what is element!" Emily said.

"What is element mom?" Asked curiously.

Sirius curiosity didn't lessen amidst his excitement. His system personality is showing up while having  a human expression on his face. At this moment he didn't know wether he is a human or system or a mix type between human and a system, he didn't go over with this train of thought. Instead he focus on what he want to learn, like a system that will digest all information to make useful to the human and like a human who will work hard to achieve his goal.

His thought was interrupted when his mother tell the answer to his question.

"Element is a talent my dear. If you have a talent in a certain element you can any magics that has the same element as your talent." Emily answered
"For example I have a talent in water element that means to say that I can use all magics about Water element."

Sirius finally understood, in short if you have a talent in a certain element it means that you can use a magic. But if you dont have a talent then you cant magic. That's the basic if anyone wants to learn magic.

"But your father is more unique because he is a dual element magician." Emily suddenly added.

"Dual element magician? What's that mean?" Sirius asked.

"A dual element magician is a rare talented magician that have talent of two elements. Of course there is also a triple element magician, but that is even more rarer than dual element." Emily answered.

This answer shocked Sirius [then that means to say that if one person can have two or more elements then they are talented. But how about those that dont have an element but can still use magic what element are they?] he thought.

He can't figure out the answer so he ask his mother the more knowledgeable than him to answer his question.

"Mom, then why some people that has no talent in any elements can still use magic? You said that if they have no talent in any element then they can't use magic."

"Ahh, there are some unique instances where one person that has no talent element can still use magic. That is the non-attribute magic, non attribute magic is a magic that is a neutral attribute no elements which is suitable for them." Emily answered.
"But if they can't find any magic about non-attribute it still useless. Non-attribute magic rare nowadays and almost all magician has elements, so no one know if non-attribute magics still exist or not." She added.

When Sirius heard the answer his train of thoughts started clearing. It look like a cloudy sky then suddenly the clouds are clearing up. The answer satisfied the curiosity of the System Sirius and he has a bright smile on his face.
