If Doom said he wasn't going to take pleasure in killing the bug before him, he would be lying. He was using a full charge to power his next energy blast, there would be little left of the arachnid after he was hit by it, and the sight would bring him delight. 

After that he could deal with Reed and the incompetents. He was a busy man, he couldn't continue to waste time of such trivialities. Doom's thoughts wondered just slightly as he thought back to the alien subject that he had seen take all his acquired vibranium. 'Does it connect to a separate space or pocket dimension to contain the new mass?' Doom couldn't wait to experiment with his new subject. 

But as he thought this and sent a cruel smirk at Spider-Man before him, the power behind his blast dimmed and cut. The energy that built up blinked out of existence and the suit locked up. The internal HUD that showed him the operations of his systems froze as a digital Spider-Man started dancing in front of his face. 

The once smile that graced his lips instantly turned to a scowl of fury as he tried to move. Even though he shouted out a curse in latverian, his mouth piece had been retracted and no sound could escape. Though there was a digital version of spider man dancing in front of his eyes, he could just make out the real spider man strolling up to him.
 
He could hear everything that was happening outside as his mind began to work on ways to override whatever was happening to his systems. "Guess I lose our little game." Spider-Man gave a small chuckle at his own joke. Drawing parallels to the opening of the hanger doors, Doom quickly concluded that someone had hacked his suits systems, which should not have been possible. 

He was Victor Von Doom, his security and firewalls could not be broken without his knowledge, his suit wasn't even connected to the main system that controlled his castle, it shouldn't be possible for them to access it…wait! 

His mind thought of the small window of opportunity that had presented itself earlier when he checked the hanger doors, increasing the growing anger that was being directed at the unknown hacker. He didn't know who they were, but they had just humiliated him. No one did that and lived to tell the tale.

"Good Job Crystal." Doom's eyes narrowed once more at the name, quietly filing it away, as Peter strolled over and slowly picked up Doom in his immobile state. Turning him around gently, Peter placed him back down so that he was staring at cargo ship ready for launch.      

Stepping back for a second and looking at the statue Doom, Peter nodded his head before walking to the ship. "Another villains plan's thwarted by the dazzling Spider-Man….and of course you too Crystal." He gave a small laugh as he could feel the pout Crystal just sent his way at being 'overlooked' but to Doom, that laugh meant something completely different,  with each step he took away from the villain, the higher Doom's own anger grew.

Peter stood on the ramp leading up to the ship as he stared Doom down. Flourishing his hand he took a quick bow as he spoke. "Remember this as the day you almost caught, Captain Jack…. Wait no!" Stopping himself short he shook his head before bowing once again. "…The day you almost caught Spider-Man!"

And with that he turned his back on the increasingly furious Doom and walked into the ship. Seeing the ramp close behind him, Peter let out a smug smile and went to sit down, waiting for the ship to take off. After 30 seconds of no activity he started to get nervous. 

Looking to the cockpit he shouted to Reed who was fiddling with the controls. "Umm Reed what's taking soo long?" Reed didn't even look up as he responded. "Just give me a second." Peter began to sweat as he looked out the onboard window at Doom who was starting to fight Crystal's hacking. 

He felt his heart pound as he swore he saw a finger twitch, looking into the small eyes that were looking right back at him, he could see the red hot malice shooting his way, giving new meaning to 'if looks could kill'. "Reeeeeeed…figure it out faster!!!!" even as he shouted, Dooms arm had raised and his body started to move. Finally after what felt like an eternity the craft came to life and started to power up.

Peter couldn't help but plaster his face to the window looking out as Doom finally started to move. 'Thank god we're out of here.' He finally let a sigh out as the ship rose into the air and they started their journey towards Wakanda. 

Crystal had opened the hanger doors, and they were off before the Latverian defenses could get them. Surprisingly they would be heading straight for Wakanda, though they didn't like people finding out about their hidden civilization, they were making an exception because of the help the fantastic four and him were provided. 

This would be the first time he would be visiting Shuri, in her home, it wasn't unusual for Pen Pals, to never meet in real life, but with Shuri's background, something he had found out after a while, it should have been pretty simple.

But in the end they had only met one or two times, and that had been when Wakanda had to go to their embassy in New York. To say Peter was a bit nervous was an understatement; they hadn't talked a lot once 'that' happened. 

The first he had heard from her in such a long time was when she needed his help. Before that he had practically ghosted her for a full year and a bit. Relaxing into the surprisingly comfy seat he was in, he tuned everything out as he let the tension in his muscles release. 

It had been a long 2 days. 'Hopefully nothing bad had happened to New York while he was gone.' He gave that thought a few seconds of his time, before he relaxed even further, the city could deal without Spider-Man for at least 2 days. Maybe not a week though.

Peter Parker, Spider-Man has lost it all. All he has left is his Duty. He will protect the city, till his dying breath.

Peter Parker has lost it all, his home, his aunt, and his friends. All he has left is his duty to the city, his presence keeping crime at bay. 
A few months after the battle of New York, Peter gets by living on the streets. His only friend a red haired woman named Natasha. 
With people from his past turning up, new Super Heroes appearing everywhere and mutants on the rise, will his life continue to spiral out of control? Or will something turn him around and make him the man he always was?

I’m writing this novel for fun so there is no release schedule. All chapters will fluctuate in length depending on many factors. I am writing an original for my main story and this is just a side project so there is no overarching plot going forwards just an imagination of the marvel landscape with different changes. 

This novel will follow the MCU timeline with changes such as the introduction of greater marvel characters and groups, fluctuation in ages, and comic alterations.

I hope you enjoy this re-imagining. 

The idea for this novel is directly inspired from me reading ‘When The Spider Falls’ over on fanfiction.net. Please go over and give that novel some love if you like where my novel is heading.

The Writer had shut herself inside her room. 

It was not like the Writer's hiding from someone; she doesn't even know a lot of people to hide from anyway. No. She was not hiding like a coward. No, she was not a coward, it was more like she's avoiding someone.

Or some people.

The Artist had her friends over and stayed inside her room since morning. Something about a project they need to complete before the deadline. So all seven of them, including the Artist, were making a lot of noises and being rowdy – the Writer even heard them debating about a sorcery that is drawing a perfect circle in one hand and one try.

The Writer wasn't fond of an unorganized environment. Sure the Artist's room is a mess but never did the Artist caused any commotion. And the so-called mess, even if she didn't say it to her flatmate's face, can be quite artistic that can make anyone go 'wow' in an instant. The scattered pens, pencils, colors, and even the frayed bed; it really defines the Artist's persona.

A messy but amazing art.

Yet not all artists are like her flatmate. The so-called friends of her flatmate were... unique. If the Writer would describe them in one word. She wasn't one to judge but with the attitude like a pack of wolf pups, she decided to stay inside her room and immerse herself with her writing and music before she stabs someone with her pen.

But as if the goddess Sága ordered the faithful Writer to stop and rest, her stomach rumbled loudly; crying out for the nutrients she forgot to take since morning. Checking on the digital clock of her laptop, she noted how it was already high noon and she haven't eaten breakfast yet. 

The Writer set her hunger aside in favor of avoiding the visitors. But the recent 'growling stomach, hidden pantry' episode in her stomach was firm in forcing her to find some food. Survival instincts, she mused and went out of her room, heading towards the kitchen.

As soon as the Writer was done rummaging the refrigerator for food, she realized the one fact that she had forgotten. An obvious thing that she felt stupid to not realize sooner. That what was inside the refrigerator, all raw cooking ingredients, were obviously pointing the one thing she couldn't do.

The Writer can't cook. 

Usually, it was the Artist who cooks. From pasta to steak; the Artist was the one cooking for the both of them and it was Delicious! With a capital D. The Writer just offered her slight assistance and last time she tried cooking – scrambled eggs and sunny side up – the fire alarm went off and their land lord forbid her to even touching the stove. The Artist never forgot the incident and called it 'breakfast for Hades' wherein everything was on fire and the food was black as night.

Sighing in defeat, the Writer checked the island counter to see if there are any leftovers or anything prepared by her flatmate. 

There wasn't any.

This made the Writer curious.

Every cooking utensil they have were left untouched. The island counter, the stove, and the sink were clean. As if no one touched them all morning. 

Knowing what might be the cause of the cleanliness, the Writer let out a displeased sigh and went back to rummaging the refrigerator. She hoped she could find anything she could 'possibly' prepare. "It won't be that hard..." she said softly, confident that she won't be calling the fire department anytime soon. Only the goddess Sága could tell.

Several minutes later...

Two cups of instant noodles; melted. 

"I guess I shouldn't have placed them inside the microwave..." whispered the Writer.

A plate of blackened mush.

"Microwave can't cook eggs..." the Writer mumbled.

Indescribable bowl of assorted unevenly chopped vegetables with a mixture of unknown dressing that can be compared to tar.

"Soy sauce, vinaigrette, and mayonnaise mixture isn't edible I guess..."

Defeated, the Writer went back to her room and took the matter of food to the professionals. With her mobile phone in hand, she dialed the number she was accustomed to that usually come to her rescue when she called for food-related help.

"Hello, is this the Pizza Planet?"

DRAFT features the daily lives of an Artist and a Writer who live together in an apartment. With their clashing personalities, weird things and hilarity are bound to happen.

Nuchi couldn't sleep that night. She tossed and turned all night thinking of the dark entity she encountered. And who was that ex-human lady that appeared before the dark entity attacked her? What does it have to do with the CEO? Was her brother's accident related to them? She sleeps with full light on as she is afraid of the dark. Unable to sleep, she got up and scanned for a book from the bookshelf and started studying. 

Inside a high class flat, Jeno sat on his bed, looking out the window overlooking the night cities that glowed like millions of fireflies. He thought of the accident earlier the day, replaying what happened. It certainly doesn't feel right. The malice in the airs he felt behind him, the sudden tunnel wind he felt from her and the way she fell back was abnormal as if there was a force jerking her back. 
Nuchi... Who are you?

The next day, Nuchi carried her digital drawing tablet and laptop up to the CEO's floor. She sat her stuff on the table by the couch while CEO Jeno stares and study her.

She can feel his glares pricks through her skin even when her back is turned against him. She comforted while she set up her supplies, "Ignored him, ignored everything. I'm here to prove my skill. I need this job to support my children." She repeated this in her mind until she calmed down. After setting up everything, she took a seat and closed her eyes. 

She visualized his room, every detail, from the size of his desk, chairs, to the sofa, couch, table, the space between the lounge to the window, the distance of the center to every corner. While her eyes still close, she picked up her hand and moved the stylus pen. 

Jeno, observing, watching her side profile stood up briskly, his eyes widened, his heart clenched. He almost lost his posture. He studied her as she continues to draw with her eyes closed. The image of Spring when she paints mirrors Nuchi continuously. The same way. When her eyes closed, she created the most breathtaking painting. He thought she would one day become a famous painter. He searched across the globe for famous female artist but has yet to come across anyone that would resemble her.

Jeno took minute steps towards Nuchi. He grabbed tight onto her hand when he approached her, startling her.

She instantly opened her eyes shocked. "C.. C.. CEO?"

He couldn't say anything. His eyes, filled with unspeakable emotions. "You.. you."

Then he remembers, when she saved him, she blocked a knife and her left shoulder was stabbed. He quickly pulled her collar in an attempt to check the scar.

Nuchi grabbed onto her collar and shouted, "What are you doing?"

Then the door swung open, standing in the middle of the door was Caris.

"What's going on here?" She asked glaring at the image she saw, her man pulling the collar of another woman!

Jeno stopped and release Nuchi. She shakenly regathered herself, avoiding Caris threatening glare. 
Caris walked angrily towards them. "Who is she, what is she doing here?" 

Jeno made his way to the desk unhappily being questioned. No one dares to question his actions. Some women are so nosy, always wanting answers to everything. 

Seeing Jeno has no intention of explaining himself to her, Caris asked Nuchi instead. "Who are you? What are you doing here?"

Nuchi lowered her head and replied, "I was asked to designed a carpet and curtain drape for the CEO."

Caris studied Nuchi from head to toe. What an unfashionable woman stealing her man. None of the clothes she wears are attractive nor high end brand. Hairs in a bun, big glasses, fully covered from head to toe, and loose clothing. Nothing seems attractive. She shouldn't even have to worry about this unfashionable woman but why does her heart feel unsettled? Was this woman trying to seduce her man? Caris shook her head menacingly. Stupid woman.

She walked towards Jeno and throws herself at him, claiming her territory. "Sweetheart, if you want a carpet and drapes, why don't you consult me? I can redecorate your entire office. I know the best people for this job."

Jeno replied, "I want my own employees."

Caris didn't have a comeback. She felt unhappy of his replied and bit her lips to calm down. She then coaxed sweetly. "I'm hungry. Let's go grab lunch."

Not looking at her, he replied, "I have a meeting in 15 minutes." 

She frowned, "How about dinner?"

"I'll be away meeting business partners later."

She pouted and eyed the bedroom behind. "Then.. 15 minutes... hold me on the bed. Tomorrow, I'll be filming out of town for two weeks." 

She rubs her hands on his chest and thighs hoping to entice him. "I won't get to see you and will miss you dearly."

Nuchi gagged and searched for a trash can but the only trash can see is by the CEO's desk. She sprinted out the door in search for a trash can leaving Jeno and Caris confused. 

Caris narrowed her brows. "Don't tell me she's pregnant?" 

Jeno pressed the direct button to Zeki and command. "Get Tauris here now!" He pushed Caris off him and rushed out following Nuchi. 

Luckily, she found a trash can behind the receptionist.

We all are born with one gift or another. For Nuchi, she was born spiritually gifted and because of that, she shies away from people until she has no choice but interact with people and take a corporate job.

For the first time, his eyes shine of life as his heart pulsated at an abnormal rate. She wore a rhinestones flower shape hairband, her luscious silk wavy hairs flow like fresh spring water. Her eyes so pure and gentle like the turquoise sea and the smile that could only bring true life out of him. 

He broke free from the gathering fans and rushed across the street to chase after but a truck honked and drove through, separating him and the woman.

Finally the time for the computer lab class where we jabber non-stop. We were solving the assignment questions. He was typing and slowly softening his voice said, "You know I want to eat human flesh... "
"Why?Those chicken meat are not enough! That you want to eat humans."
"Nope.Actually I wanna eat you up! "
"I am not tasty. Don't worry! "
But wait... Didn't I take this too literally. His habit of using pun to describe and chat we everytime is obvious. 
He started tittering. 

I gave a second thought. And the second thought was the worst thing I could think. Immediately my face flushed red and I bowed my head not being able to keep eye contact. Through the corner of my eye I could see his smirk at the corner of his lips. 
"I thought you are innocent. But you aren't. It's fun teasing you! "
"Yeah yeah you only have the right to tease me... as if! "
"Seriously, it's fun. "
I started focussing on the question. But couldn't regain my concentration level. 
To ease the atmosphere he started chatting. 
"Which one do you think is better? Is it the stylus or the digital pen? "
"I think it's stylus. "
"No you are wrong it's digital pen. "
"Why and How? "

He started explaining while I was gazing his movements. But how much he tries that particular chat cannot get off my head. My mind was still away in those thoughts. I couldn't get rid of it. 
Just think if someone you like suddenly says intentionally or out of a pure sense of humor and that too you like the person. Can you think anything other than it? 
To me it's No.

I take pleasure in adding details when telling a story like adding oil and vinegar to a dish. Has news already gotten around in the circle?"
Lev Mirov could do nothing but smile wryly. An awkward incident as small as an ant would become as large as a tyrannosaurus if Lin Liqiang spread it with that mouth of his.
These two incidents today were already incomparably shameful. If Lin Liqiang were allowed to exaggerate and spread rumors about it, it was possible that their families would kick them out of the list of candidates to be the successor of their respective families.
"That's good. I won't beat around the bush either." Lin Liqiang suddenly sighed. "You know that I am a man of two hobbies. I love to gossip, and I love to chase beautiful girls. I need to spend money for the latter hobby, and I don't like to use my family's money. Even the money used to come here for the concert was earned by Old Enz's blood, sweat, and tears."
"I understand, Young Master Lin." Lev Mirov nodded. "How much do you need?"
"How much?" Lin Liqiang's expression turned righteous. "First of all, I must declare that I am no robber that profits from another's misfortune. I'm just a bit tight with cash on hand. I just want to borrow a bit of money from you guys. Help a brother out, you know."
Lev Mirov could only force a smile with the situation coming to this. "What Young Master Lin says is right, what Young Master Lin says is right. Personally, I quite respect Young Master Lin. It is an honor to lend you money."
"Since you feel like its an honor, then I can't possibly refuse your request." Lin Liqiang had an appearance of grief. "Lend me around a hundred thousand...."
"A hundred thousand?" Lev Mirov smiled wryly. "From each person? Or in total?"
Big families didn't control the spending of the youngest generation too strictly, but there was still some control. This was to avoid cultivating a prodigal child.
Lev Mirov and the others had some money on hand, but if the money wasn't in the stock market, the money was invested in other things. Probably not a single one of them possessed a hundred thousand truly liquid funds on hand.
"A total of a hundred thousand is fine." Lin Liqiang understood the circumstances within the circle quite well. "No matter what, my tender heart and I don't wish for your reputations to stink within our circle."
Lev Mirov could only smile wryly once more. He took out his cell phone and quickly carried out the transfer of funds from his bank account. He took half of his bank account savings and transferred it to Lin Liqiang. The others all did the same in transferring money.
They watched Lin Liqiang rake in the money and leave, and Lev Mirov could only sigh. Though he clearly knew how weird it was that Qin Fen used Lin Liqiang to fight, he was unable to use this as blackmail. He still didn't know what his opponent's greatest trump card was, after all.
It was because he didn't know that Lin Liqiang was able to cheat him this time, but everyone didn't feel too uncomfortable about this. There were rumors in the circle that quite a few people had been cheated by Lin Liqiang. It really wasn't shameful to be cheated by him.
After failing two rounds of competition, Lev Mirov and the others no longer had the face to stay in the group. He arrived before Qin Fen and said. "Today we still have some things to do. I don't know if student Qin Fen is free tomorrow? I've realized that I can learn many things from being with you. If possible, I wish to learn a few other things from you, sir."
The others all nodded one by one. They had lost today because they weren't prepared enough. They wanted to get a night to prepare then fight tomorrow if possible, so as to have a great possibility to reclaim their pride. Lin Liqiang wouldn't have anything to threaten them with then.
More competition tomorrow? Qin Fen could hear the provocation, and his eyes immediately flared with light. If he encountered a field he wasn't proficient in for tomorrow, he could always just avoid the challenge. Qin Fen was completely serious when it came to the possibility of losing money.

Lev Mirov and the others left, and the group's atmosphere immediately eased.
Song Jia was a clever girl. She knew that Qin Fen and Lin Liqiang certainly had several things to talk about having not seen each other for so many days. She didn't force herself to stay in the group. Instead, she planned a dinner time with Qin Fen, and she left the group along with her sister students.
In the blink of an eye, the group went from consisting of several people to merely Qin Fen, Lin Liqiang, Enzo Rota, and Xue Tian, who was brazen-faced and determined not to leave.
"Hehe...." Lin Liqiang studied Xue Tian, soon chuckling casually.
"Haha...." Xue Tian likewise studied Lin Liqiang, and his smile was just as casual.
The two looked at each other face-to-face and chuckled a few times. Then both of them sniffed the air around each other's bodies.
Suddenly, the two extended their hands and clasped them together in a tight handshake!
"The smell is of the same kind!"
Lin Liqiang and Xue Tian spoke in unison. They looked like old friends that had met in a foreign place, causing Qin Fen and Enzo Rota, who observed from the side, to be stupefied.
What in the world are these two? Are they wolves? When they first met, they laughed and smelled each other's scent. They were able to determine whether or not they were the same kind of person just from this? 
"I'll introduce myself again. I'm Xue Tian, a new friend of Qin Fen's."
"I'm Lin Liqiang, an old friend of Qin Fen's."
The two quickly went from shaking hands to hooking arms around each other's shoulders. Anyone who saw this and didn't know the truth would believe that Lin Liqiang and Xue Tian were old friends of many years. 
"Here."
The silent Enzo Rota took a pen out of his chest pocket and gave it to Qin Fen. In the modern era of digital mediums, physical pens were often more for aesthetic purposes.
Qin Fen was a bit puzzled. Why did Enzo Rota suddenly give him a pen?
The instant the pen entered his hand, Qin Fen's eyes twitched twice. This pen was clearly just a pen in exterior form. There should be something else inside.
"The antidote for the life-or-death pill." Enzo Rota explained, "The success rate of stimulating one's latent potential isn't one hundred percent. Eating this can dissolve the life-or-death pill."
Qin Fen felt a wave of emotion come over him. It had been so long since Enzo Rota had given him the life-or-death pill, but he still remembered the problem and flaw with the life-or-death pill.
"Don't be stubborn with the life-or-death pill." Enzo Rota violated his typical habit of being a man of few words. He warned again. "Some people are unable to stimulate their latent potential with the life-or-death pill. In this case, the end result can only be death. If you're unable to stimulate your latent potential, then take the antidote and give up on the stimulation."
Qin Fen nodded. For Enzo Rota to warn Qin Fen about the life-or-death pill over and over, it seemed the danger and seriousness of the life-or-death pill were far greater than he imagined. It was best not to use it if he didn't need to.
"Okay! We need to get some action tonight! Let's use our splendid love to fill the void in the hearts of the beautiful girls of Seoul." Lin Liqiang suddenly roared in deadly earnest, drawing quite a few sidelong glances from the pedestrians by the road.
"Don't forget their bodies!" Xue Tian added next to him.
"That's right! There's also their bodies!"
Lin Liqiang and Xue Tian gave each other an embrace. It was as if they had overcome a very important and difficult issue in science and technology for the Federation, and they were celebrating.
Qin Fen and Enzo Rota merely smiled wryly when they saw this scene. Chasing girls was a very normal thing, but with the way these two acted about it, anyone would believe that chasing girls was a very honorable and very grand undertaking.
"Aerial combat. Beautiful."
It had been many days since they last saw each other, and Enzo Rota had a few more words to say than before.
"The training was pretty miserable. How could I possibly not improve at least a little?"
Qin Fen smiled wryly and a bit helplessly. Acting modest in front of friends would appear hypocritical and strange, but being straightforward in acknowledgment was genuine.
Lin Liqiang walked over at this time. He put a casual arm over Qin Fen's shoulder. "Bro, how's the thing I gave you?"
The biochemical beast egg? Qin Fen felt it was strange now that he thought about it. According to theory, this egg should at least have some fluctuations. Why didn't he feel anything coming from it at all?
"Still the same."
"Still the same? It hasn't changed at all?"
"Yes."
A puzzled look appeared on Lin Liqiang's face. He lowered his voice and said, "You haven't felt even a hint of a fluctuation coming from it?"
Qin Fen slowly nodded. "Nope."
"How is that possible?" Lin Liqiang had a face of confusion. "According to my calculations, it should have already hatched by now."
Qin Fen undid the top two buttons of his shirt and his plunging neckline revealed the biochemical beast egg Lin Liqiang had given him. The sparking, translucent, smooth, and round egg released a splendor, akin to that of a pearl under the rays of the sun.

Then we went off with the class.
"Pal," I heard a voice say.
Then I turned around and saw a boy and a girl chasing a panda. The boy put his arm out and made a fist.
"Panda go back in the ring," He said.
And the panda glowed and went in the ring.
Then they looked at me in shook.
"Did you see that?" She said.
"I'm not blink," I answered.
I put a piece of notebook paper on the ground and drew a sword then it came out of the paper. He looked at me with shook.
"It a magical pen?!" He asked.
"Yep and I've been asked to find you," I said pointing the sword at Calvin.
"Why?" They asked.
"I don't know but Mr. Bond told me to find a person with a panda ring and here you are," I said.
"Okay so what do we do now?" He asked.
"I'm just as uniform as you are," I said.
"Well at least I got to skip math," She said.
"Calvin and Alex right don't you two sit two rows in front of me?" I asked.
"Yeah," We answered.
"Oh your the teacher pets," I said.
They gave me a cold look.
"Well it's true," I said.
Then we hear footsteps and I get nervous and my sword disappears into thin air. A teacher came up to us and said, "What are three still doing in here get outside." She rushed us outside. We saw the other side of the school is in flames. People started panicking as the fire trucks come..
