However, not everything is what it seems. Two people from 2000 years in the past has appeared to make hell and uncover the truth.

Kaito and his yonger brother Tyoki, team up with a group of individuals that main goal is to take down the current government that they sure are hiding something that could potentially be dangerous.

It was many and many a year ago, in a princedom by the sea—I was in a state of rebirth, not fully reborn yet, but in the midst of a divine resurrection. My uncle Quilty and aunt Dolores, some quite nice fellows, took me from my dead mother's grasp, and I lived with them for the rest of my natural life. 
    In this princedom by the sea, I was confounded by the curling lights and intertwining tendrils of a match flame, then the flame from a lighter, and lastly most by the life of a wildfire. There was no moment of my teenage life in which I had not an inkling of curiosity toward fire, and it was everlasting as the Seraphs beside the Throne of Heaven. At first it was only the light attraction to a flame on a little matchstick: a slight, minuscule desire to just look into its path of light. It grew, slowly and slightly, moving steadily into less of a minor attraction, and more speeding past the red lights of life right into the crash site of conflagration.
    In this princedom by the sea, I also had a life beside the one of reality—a digital soul in which I threaded away from physicality and into the false identity I made for myself online. Digital silk, almost. Here, on the glorious, hiding, anonymous Internet, I was free to discuss my passions and life away from the prying eyes of society. This digital silk enveloped me like a spider until I was nothing but a husk looking at my phone. I stood on the platform, typing away at my phone, trying to explain my passions to strangers on numerous chat rooms. It was here I met someone special, someone susceptible, someone easily made a puppet.
    Dearest stranger, here I write to you my love letter, which I hope finds you in good health and prosperity within your grasp—even though you face years in prison, and your sentencing was made long ago only to your suffering. I project myself onto you, mon chéri. Once the ladies and gentlemen of the jury see your innocence, and I pray they do eventually, you will be freed from my punishment; you are the crime, and I am the punishment. I stole your voice from the echoes of the streets, and I am fully remorseful and apologise for making you my pleasurer and test subject. You are the mouse, but I made you famous. Obviously a work in progress, and my first non-completely-a-joke story. And I owe the idea to sharing kinks in a group chat.

The game "The Path toward Heaven" was a call by Jing Jiu throughout the Federation of the Milky Way.
It was because he really wished to see the Snow Girl.
On the other hand, this game was also a fishing pond he dug and a sycamore tree he planted.
Jing Jiu wanted to see which fish was to swim over to eat the familiar weed and which bird was to fly over to perch on the treetop and to check out the familiar scenery.
There were over one thousand accounts in the data provided by the Twirling Rain Company, and the so-called suspicious accounts were actually symbols. Jing Jiu and Ran Handong recalculated the circumstances that were given to Ran Donglou and reduced the suspicious accounts to about one hundred. In the end, Jing Jiu locked on thirty suspects and bade Ran Handong surveil them in secret.
Some ascendants from Chaotian must be among these accounts.
It was evidently suspicious that the digital marks of two people showed up on the Main Planet after he met General Li today.

There was a black spacecraft traveling slowly on the screen; the ocean as its background seemed to have not moved at all.
Jing Jiu was on the black spacecraft.
He had no idea that Jing Jiu was watching him at the moment.
Time went by slowly. A small whirlpool formed in the water in the glass.
The middle-aged officer suddenly felt something was out of place.
The ascendants were the true fairy men, and they were very sensitive to the changes in the energy of heaven and earth. And they had a strong intuition about the hazards, which was almost mysterious in some sense.
If he felt something wrong, then something must have gone wrong, meaning danger was lurking.
The water in the glass suddenly stopped twirling, and his Dao Heart resumed its tranquility, and so did his slender fingers.
It was unclear when his finger touched the red button again. The movement was exceedingly steady, as if his finger would never press down and yet would press down at any moment.

Jing Jiu's line of sight pulled away from the battleship and gazed at the brightest star in the sky.
It was not a permanent star but the space station of the Science Academy of the Federation.
The middle-aged professor was still inside the game "The Path toward Heaven", and was watching the lotus flowers on the lake at the Thousand-Mile Windy Corridor joyfully.
He felt the lotus flowers were quite beautiful since he hadn't seen them for a long time.
The old scenery made him feel relaxed. If someone attacked him all of a sudden, he might not be able to react immediately.
Fortunately, nothing had happened, except that the pages of the book on the desk had flipped a few times without the aid of the wind.

Jing Jiu pulled back his gaze and noticed that Ran Handong was staring at his face the entire time.
Her face was quite pale, even paler than when he and General Li met that day.
Her eyes were full of anxiety, and her lips were pursed tightly. It was because she had guessed what he would do next.
General Li had prepared for the worst.
If the two of them had a debacle in their negotiation, the war would ensue.
This could be regarded as a threat.
Jing Jiu couldn't accept it. As such, he had also prepared beforehand and was to counterattack at any moment.
He would attack that professor in the game "The Path Toward Heaven" through his spiritual awareness.
Afterwards, he would turn into a sword light and charge into the gravitational field and the bridge at the bow of the ship the moment the mystical weapon was activated on the battleship.
Yet, none of these had happened.

Moreover, he had no idea where General Li was and whether General Li had another contingency plan.
None of the ascendants was more powerful than him, which he believed firmly. Jing Jiu was still as confident as when he was in Chaotian, but it didn't mean that he was willing to face a hazardous situation.
The most important part was that no debacle happened during the negotiation. And why would he want to fight against his great grandmaster?
"Have you…decided to accept their conditions?" asked Ran Handong in a trembling voice.
Jing Jiu uttered "hmm".
After a pause, Ran Handong propped on the back of the chair slowly. She looked relaxed; on the other hand, her behavior could be regarded as giving up on all the hopes.
"But why did you bring me here?" she demanded irately.
"Because you're my secretary," replied Jing Jiu.
Jing Jiu intended to tell her that he was lazy and that she should take the responsibility to inform the government and the praying hall about his decision, and that it was her duty to do the explanation, public relations, and chores.
Ran Handong found it was useless to say anything more. She lay in the chair in a fetal position and pretended to sleep with her eyes closed.
The spacecraft sped up and flew out of the atmosphere quickly. It was very quiet in the spacecraft, as if it were the ash of paper drifting forward. But in fact, the spacecraft traveled exceedingly fast. It took merely a dozen minutes before the spacecraft landed on the lawn of the mansion. Different from when it left the mansion, the spacecraft was not concealed, drawing many gazes.
The Main Preacher Tai Yang and the people of the praying hall were surprised to see Jing Jiu disembark the spacecraft, wondering where he had been to.

After a long moment of silence, she asked, "Could you tell me your story?"
This youth knocked on the door of her apartment that evening, told her that he had seen the ad of sharing rent she posted on the internet, and asked her if he could live in the apartment. She knew he was lying to her, but she didn't reveal it. It was not because he had an appealing face, but because she knew that everyone had their difficulty and hardship at least once in their lives.
She didn't ask him about his problem at the time, nor did she try to find out his background. And yet, she wished to hear it in his own words.
"Actually, 'The Path Toward Heaven' is my story," said Jing Jiu.
Zong Lizi lowered her head, remaining silent for a long time.
She had vaguely guessed the truth, but she didn't want to think that way.
It was because the truth was too shocking.
He was not from this world. What could be more disappointing and remote than this fact?
"So…you're that ascendant…the Immortal Jing Yang…" She lifted up her head bravely and stared at Jing Jiu's eyes. "Did you come to this world to look for your colleagues?" she asked in a slightly trembling voice.
Jing Jiu uttered "hmm".
"Have you found them?" Zong Lizi asked nervously.
Jing Jiu uttered "hmm".
Zong Lizi asked again, "Today…are you going to meet them?"
Jing Jiu uttered "hmm" again.

The organization for the cocoon breakers or the butterfly association was a fellowship for the ascendants, which was under his control.
All of these were the will of founding grandmaster.
The Green Mountain Sect was ruling the Federation of the Milky Way.
He was a disciple of Green Mountain.
And he was the most outstanding one.
He had already proven that Shen Yunmai was inferior to him.
In other words, this patch of the vast universe and this civilization would his in the future.

"Is it…" Zong Lizi inquired earnestly while looking at him, "safe to go there?"
Jing Jiu suddenly felt a sensation of warmth. He curled up the corners of his mouth slowly, uttering "hmm" while rubbing her head with a faint smile.

"The information you supplied about the process wasn't very forthcoming.  It was vague at best, and any research I've managed to ferret out doesn't explain the procedure for the transition.  How does the transfer take place?"  I asked deciding to focus on the mechanics now that the decision had been made.  I had no choice.  

I could either toss the dice and hope that this digitization process was a way to live on after my body's death or take my chances on an afterlife and embrace the unknown.

Even with the advent and proof that the 'soul' actually existed, there was no definitive proof that an after-life was the final destination.  Some theorists maintained that the soul was an energy construct, a layered function of the physical body, and acknowledged that when a death occurred the soul did leave the body, much like the final gasp of breath escaping.  But without the physical to tether the metaphysical, the freed energy that comprised the soul would dissipate.  

A person's body served the same function as a battery, it had the ability to recharge and maintain an energy pool that provided that energy to the soul.  It was this process that was needed to maintain cohesion.  If the cord between body and astral soul were severed, if brain activity failed and the body shut down, then the astral form would separate and fade.  Of course, there were the continuing religious theories that championed reincarnation, heaven, and oblivion.

"Most of the process is proprietary and the exact mechanics entrusted only to technicians and staff, those that have a need to know and are needed to implement the upload.  It is a complex set of mathematical and computational formatting as the AI processes and copies the biomechanics of your brain activity and memories.  A kind of lucid dreaming is established that allows you to transition by speaking with the AI as it walks you through character creation," she explained.

"The process is painless.  We know this because as part of the clinical studies the Regulatory Commission required the process to be interrupted during different points in transition to more fully understand what is going on, and where the point of no return is. 

"There are a few brief moments when you exist in both realms, the physical and digital realities merged as the process completes and the duality is severed.  It is only during this phase that interruption of the transfer proceedings can result in irrevocable death to your physical body as well as the loss of your digital avatar."

"And if it works?  What is the digital world like?  There is almost as little information about that as there are the proprietary techniques Digi-verse uses to 'upload' a persona," I accused her suspiciously, implicitly suggesting that Digi-verse was hiding something.  Something nefarious in its claims of proprietary methodology, methods, and techniques that require anonymity and privacy.

"World settings and Universal mechanics are protected under Federal privacy legislation.  Digital citizens are a protected class, and because it is so difficult to have meaningful real-time conversations between the two mediums, laws were enacted that placed tight limits on what information can be shared.

"This is no different than the right to privacy that you enjoy now for medical information.  Of course, there are ways to track individuals and investigate and data-mine information, just as there are ways in the physical world.  

"But protections exist.  Search warrants.  Orders of protection.  These legal remedies exist with one caveat.  Once you've been digitized there is no way to incarcerate or effect capital punishment for crimes that may have occurred before the individual has been uploaded and made part of the contiguous worlds that make up Digi-verse.

"The courts have ruled that the digitization process is tantamount to death.  The physical body does expire.  So, all assets, properties, and monies are distributed based on the individual's last will and testament.  And any crimes committed by that person are considered solved, any reparations or penalties absolved.  

"Each individual starts their digital life free of animus and burden.  The mistakes, debts, crimes, enemies, and friends they made in this world are terminated.  You enter your new life with a clean slate.

"The reason you require Digi-verse to be named a beneficiary in a person's will and require that person to divest 50% of all assets at the time of the procedure seems exorbitant.  Even extortion"  I said. "Why not allow people to pay a flat fee instead?"  

"For the same reasons, a person uses when they decide to diversify their portfolio.  Digi-verse has found that stocks, company shares, property, and items retain and increase in value.  Money can buy these things.  But time, effort, and profitability of new investments compared to those that have been nurtured and time-tested are drastically less profitable.  Digi-verse has found it's better to nurture established portfolios instead of liquidating over time.

"The cost of Digi-verse infrastructure increases exponentially each year.  As the human race expands into new star systems, we have to expand the area we cover. For our part, we have signed contracts that demand we maintain the Digi-verse in perpetuity.  To do this, we have seeded wormholes with navigation buoys that use quantum particles to communicate across networks.


"The monies from dividends, business profits, leases, and rentals are barely sufficient enough to grow the server buoy network.  Those buoys provide the means for expansion and redundancy that meets the current needs and demands of exploration and trade routes.

"You have to understand, nano-particles allow the buoy's to self-repair for the most part, but catastrophic events do happen that destroy a buoy that has been seeded at a wormhole entrance or exit.  

"Digi-verse has to maintain the infrastructure and means to repair, replace, and update as technological advances impact the service we offer.

"That explains why you protect the information, but it doesn't tell me anything about the in-game Worlds.  What type of features I can expect. Once I sign the contracts, update my will, and agree to any NDA's you may require, it should be possible to learn something about the worlds, shouldn't it?"  I challenged her and by proxy Digi-verse's terms of service.

"Unfortunately, no.  The only thing I can tell you is that you will be able to choose from amongst a diverse set of scenarios and worlds.  Physics are mutable in the digital world, and anything, virtually anything you can dream of can be given form and function.

"Fine.  You can't or won't go into game world details, but what about mechanics?  What happens if I die in the digital world?"  I demanded.

"It depends on the world you decide to enter.  The only thing I can promise is that death is not absolute.  No matter what Universal constants have been programmed and assigned to the World you spawn in, no matter what iteration or unique life you wish to embrace, the only sure thing Digi-verse can promise is that as long as even one server buoy remains operational, you will survive and live."

I knew all of this.  She wasn't sharing any information that I hadn't found when researching my choices.  Still, I wished I had more time.  More time to live before making this decision, but I didn't.  Time was running out.  Medicine had adapted new techniques using the body's inherent proteins and enzymes to repair and maintain homeostasis.  

But without the new DNA and genetic protein re-sequencing, a technology that had to be administered before puberty, my death was fast approaching.  There were no more medical solutions and my health had progressed to end-stage.  Palliative care was all that was available to me at this point.  And I could feel the changes as my body began the process of shutting down.

The paperwork had already been drawn up.  My will updated.  My lawyer advised me of my rights and explaining the fine print of the contracts Digi-verse would require me to sign.  It had come down to this final decision.  Toss the dice and die, hoping there was an afterlife, and that I wouldn't be consigned to some type of eternal punishment or forever lost in a limbo of nothingness.  Or digitize and know that my mind would live on.  

Digi-verse was contractually obligated to maintain and improve its server farms.  They were obligated to continue researching methods of maintenance, half of all profits were required to be reinvested into research.  At some point, the system would become Maintenance-free, the network capacity to source, code, repair, and expand possible without the input of man or company.  

Digi-verse was contracted to discover and implement fully functional self-repairing, duplicating, and upgrading infrastructure that would continue to grow long after Digi-verse the company was relegated to the dust bin of history.

Signing the applicable documents before I could find another reason to stall, I consigned myself to the mercy of machine and computer.  For better or worse, I would trust in this new life, and that no matter the circumstance or world I found myself, I would survive and flourish.  I just hoped the AI that processed my creation was as intuitive as had been advertised.

Interstellar travel.  Life extension medicines.  Advanced AI's

All of these meant nothing to Jayden, she had been born too soon, her body unable to process the new technology.  She was approaching the end of her life and had a choice to make.  Deep Dive VR had progressed and real digitization and uploading was now an option for those unable to use life-extension treatments.

For all the science the Human race had developed, Jayden was forced to take a different path.  She would be digitized and explore a new world.  One where cultivation and dinosaurs blended together.

December 2, 20XX (Monday)

Various Places

In New York, Kristy Had been waiting for the arrival of Louis Evans. But after dressing up and waiting for hours, he still did not appear. Kristy did not have the contact of Louis Evans, hence she could not call him.

Kristy angrily sat on her bed, while scrolling through her phone. Not long after, she got a call from her mother. Elizabeth Evans, "Sweetheart, your daddy's not gonna come back. He had urgent matters to tend to, don't worry he will comeback and see you soon."

Kristy sulked, "Hmm" She felt disappointed and sad at the same time. Sometimes she felt that she did not have a father, she never felt any fatherly love from Louis Evans before. She had only seen him when she was 6 years old, ever since she got older. She had never seen her dad since than.

She can barely remember his face, "Mommy's gonna go and attend some matters, I'll ask your cousin patricia to accompany you to play." Elizabeth Evans tried to pacify Kristy.

Hearing what her mother just said, Kristy gave a cold smile. She had long been used to her parent disappearing and not being by her side, her mother would always be at different part of the countries. Only when she go and find her, than will she be find.

Her father, could never be seen. Kristy felt desolate, "Hmm" she vaguely replied before hanging up, not bothering to ask or say anything more.

In City H, Z.D.Y Branch

Qiao Lin was seated beside Song Yu, silently scrolling through her phone while secretly listening to what the meeting was about.

Song Yu had on a serious and sharp look, her stature confident and haughty. She was seated on the CEO's sit, looking intently at the screen in front of her which was showing the analytics of the project and also the public's views.

The collaborators of digital tech's were all paying attention to the big screen and listening to the explanation of the orator, after a good few half an hour. Song Yu raised her hand to stop the orator, "As you all can see that the stats are average, neither high nor low about having the one and only digital mall." Song Yu started explaining after she got the attention of the rest.

"Please flip to page 3 of 2.4. The proposal in front of you  will tell you what is the main purpose and goal for the whole digital mall." She informed before.

One of the directors who had started reading, frowned after reading a little of the proposal. He could not wait to asked, "Genesis?"

Song Yu smiled before replying in an unhurried tone, "Be patient and read through the rest."

While waiting for the others to be done, Song Yu pushed one of the extra proposal to Qiao Lin. "Read through it, give me your suggestion after." She instructed.

Qiao Lin nodded and started reading through the documents, the whole room became quite. Only the sounds of pages flipping can be heard, after what felt like eternity. Song Yu could see the nodding and agreeable looks from the directors, she smiled and started saying.

"What are your thoughts?" She asked.

Man Jin, one of the directors raised up his hand and asked. "I can see that President Song does not want to stop at a digital mall itself but also a school for technology geniuses?" he asked in awe.

"That is what I am getting at, I not only want to have a one and only digital mall but also changed the mall into a school of technology geniuses. A school that is of elites, the best of the best. As you can see in the proposal of page 7, 3.5." Song Yu paused for a moment before continuing.

"Genesis will be the name for the mall and school, for the elites that gets into genesis. It will teach them all the things they could ever wish for, hacking, coding, setting up games, softwares and many more. Geniuses can get into Genesis and start what they want. They can use the highest and most advance technology, they can learn and create what they want.

Simply said it is a place where they can learn things that they could ever wish for and also have the resources to create something they want. As for the public, they could get into Genesis and play whatever games they want. It is a gaming heaven for the public and a haven of unlimited resources for the elites." Song Yu roughly laid out her plans for the gaming/school mall.

The directors all had on a stupefied look, all not knowing what to say. They were all intrigued in the project but they still have some concerned.

Liang Xi, one of the directors asked. "It is a attractive proposal but the analytics you've shown us, we could clearly see the negative results before the project even starts."

Song Yu remained calmed, "That is what my orator will show you for the next analytics."

The orator started to explained the other part of the analytics, the previous date shown was of the Asia part. The new one that the orator was the European part of the world, as Asian's and the Europeans have different views.

For the European's analytics the percentage was 45 percent higher than the one of Asia's, the data shown what the public views are for starting a gaming/school mall. The success rate was higher by a few miles, "I'll leave it as that for now, I am sure within a day you all will understand my view and would surely support this project." Song Yu confidently said before she look at her wrist watch, seeing that it was about time to stop the meeting.

She hurriedly paused the meeting and allow the rest to absorb the new information, before Song Yu could leave the meeting room with Qiao Lin. Many of the director's quickly said, "President Song, we all agree in supporting this project." They said in an urgent tone.

As they were all experts in the technology world, they knew how successful the project would be. They knew what Song Yu said for them to go back and think about it, she was implementing that many other companies are eyeing on working with Z.D.Y Corp with the project and that they should accept before the offer ends.

They still had some enquiries but decided to seal the deal before someone else does, as once a new project was being discussed. They would have to sign a contract of confidentiality and that if they were to not seal the deal after the meeting, they would be banned from having to accept the deal again. That was Z.D.Y Corp policy, once given a chance there would be no second one.

And to all professionals, they knew that well and would surely seal the deal. Song Yu smiled in triumphant before she turned and faced the directors, "Let's have a happy collaboration." she said before leaving the meeting room.

As Song Yu still had to attend a dinner with few of the influential businessman at Jade restaurant, she needed to leave early and rush to the venue since she only has less than an hour to prepare.

Song Yu you would and will become my woman whether you like it or not. I will treat you like the one and only in my heart, love you, shower you with love and give you anything you wish for. Nothing in this world can stop me from loving you yu er.

Will Gu Chen break the walls that Song Yu had build up to protect herself from people who would betray and harm her? or will Gu Chen fail to let her fall in love with him?

What will their story be? Sad? Happy?

Kieran was striding quickly along the street and with Bloody Mary's intel, he easily located Lude's secret warehouse.
The warehouse was locked with a heavy mechanical lock but for Kieran, whose Lockpicking was at Grandmaster level, it wasn't that hard for him to break through. The following digital lock was also easily broken through because of Bloody Mary.
When Bloody Mary leveled up from High Demon to Superior Demon, its strength had underwent a significant change. It was easy for Bloody Mary to deal with Lude, who thought so highly of himself.
Through the realistic illusory realm, Bloody Mary had acquired information that Kieran sought and more, like this secret warehouse, which housed Lude's personal stash.

After a few digital beeps, the warehouse door opened up.
Compared to a real warehouse door, it was much smaller and shorter than average, but extremely heavy. When it opened up, Kieran could hear screeching from inside the wall, produced by the pulley.
The warehouse was smaller than expected, only around 10 square feet but it was fully stashed with a dozen boxes.
Most of the boxes held paper currency, but some of it had gold and jewellery. Kieran carefully checked the gemstones, which were mostly just common shiny stones without any attributes.
The outcome was no doubt disappointing for Kieran but no matter how disappointed he was, he'd always meticulously check his gains.
Then, he found a box hidden underneath another.
He opened the box and a pair of black chopsticks with a dragon etched into the handle entered his sight.
Kieran squinted his eyes.

"Legendary rank… chopsticks?!"
Kieran's eyes showed shock.
He wasn't just surprised by the existence of such tableware, he was also surprised that Lude was abe to get his hands on such an item.
No doubt Lude must have gotten this pair of chopsticks through snatching or plundering from others.
As for why he kept it in his warehouse and not with him at all times?
It was too obvious!
[Seven-inch Seeking Dragon] was very eye-catching. Once it appeared in the public eye, it would attract trouble, hence why it was kept under a box.
Without further thought, Kieran put the chopsticks into his bag and sent a message to Bloody Mary.
He wanted to know the original owner of this pair of chopsticks, only that could he decide whether or not he could use this pair of replica chopsticks.
Kieran wasn't afraid of trouble, he was afraid of unnecessary trouble.
He also related into more things after he got his hands on the chopsticks.
'Chefs with all kinds of weird weapons appeared on battlefields in the west!'
Kieran suddenly thought about the sentence that he had read from the book.
"Weapons? Tableware? Interesting," Kieran mumbled to himself.
He then took some cash and left the warehouse.
Kieran knew he had to read more to understand the current dungeon world and its unique history but before that, he had to go to the last place on his itinerary for the day: the cafeteria.
E Block cafeteria was located beside E1 floor.
Unlike a traditional cafeteria, E Block cafeteria had its own independent field and a seven-story building.
All seven floors of the building were wide and spacious, with tables and benches lined up neatly on each floor. Students only needed to key in what they wanted to eat at the window in the respective floor and the food would be delivered to them, via the window.
Where did the food come from?
Underground. 
Every student knew about that but only a few knew what the 'underground kitchen' was like.
Kieran was able to enter the kitchen with his special school badge, sizing up the scene that normal students couldn't see.
Bright!
That was Kieran's first impression of the kitchen.
Many fluorescent tubes were installed in the ceiling to shed light over the floor and the working students. The students, busy cutting and washing the cooking ingredients, had nowhere to hide.
Other than the brightness, there was the heat!
Kieran didn't feel the heat though, [Secondary Elemental Damage Resistance] and Overlord level Devil Bloodline providing him with the Constitution to not feel hot, even if he was standing beside a volcano. However, the students who guided him down here and the others who were preparing the ingredients were drenched in sweat.
"Branch Leader sir, this is as far as I can bring you. You have to venture forth yourself from here. Sir Eiderburgh is in the room at the end. You can only enter the 'cafeteria' with his permission."
The student said while sweat dripped off of his face.
"Mm. Thank you," Kieran nodded and replied politely.
He then walked forward and pushed open the door.
Huuu.
A scorching air stream blasted Kieran's face.
Blazing red fires were rumbling ceaselessly. Kieran felt like he saw a world in flames and in this fiery world, woks were being tossed up and down, hot steam coming from stew pots and the students standing amidst the heat looking like flaming warriors. They did not just handle the wok in their hands steadily, their stance was firm as a monolith.
Compared to the students inside the blazing heat, the students who guided Kieran down here faltered backwards before he even got close, having a hard time breathing.
Even the students washing and cutting the cooking ingredients were affected.
Kieran hastened his steps inside and closed the door behind him.
Ka!
The clear clunk did not affect the students who were cooking with the fiery wok, seemingly inside their own worlds.
Kieran was attracted to this fiery world because the aroma of food entered his nose.
He couldn't help but breathe deeply and had to swallow his saliva relentlessly.
Kieran clearly felt the drums of hunger from his stomach, as if Gluttony was screaming hungry in his heart.
'Heaven! This is heaven!'
Kieran had no idea what heaven looked like but this should be very close.
Kieran strode forward with that thought lingering in his head.
He had decided to stay and no one could stop him.
Amid the loud frying noises from the woks and stew pots whistling in the steam, Kieran's firm footsteps brought him closer to the office at the end of the kitchen.
Meanwhile, the person in the office saw Kieran through the monitor, pressing the button beside his desk.
"You want o enter the cafeteria? Even if you are the Branch Leader of Student Council, you must follow the rules! Feel the fiery passion…. WHAT?!"
The person's words stopped abruptly, jumping up from his chair as he widened his eyes inconceivably at his monitor.


Welcome to a virtual underground game with no protection, full of lurking players who seek survival, power, and fortune. Kieran chose to enter this VRMMORPG game without hesitation, because he knew this was the only way for him to escape death’s grasp. Can he escape death in real life though, or will he end up dying inside the game? 

Summons are an illusive issue, they are seen everywhere at use for NPCs and players alike within the entirety of the H.U.B. . But how are they created? Where are they from?

 
 Fortunately... a unique player had the opportunity to see what It was like to become a summon creature. For now, we will call him Sam. His real name isn't Sam, but we have sworn to keep his identity secret.


  Sam was an easy going person. He lived a long life and enjoyed the simple matters. Before his death, however, The great Digitization Era commenced. He was restored to his former youth inside the H.U.B and continued to live amoungst his family.


          But, there was an issue. There seemed to be no explanation why, but Sam had been removed from the H.U.B. , much to the dismay of his family members... he died from a technical malfunction from the Non Digital world.

  A year Later, however. Sam was discovered to be within the Popular game StarDuster, he retained his cognitive state within the system without any data to back him up... what he was found as however is a different story.

  Here is his story, from his perspective.



" I... awoken one day, not where I was when I fell asleep. Torpor if you will. The walls were clad in steel and a blood like smell entered my nostrils...


       I was in... a prison... no, something much worse. I've been through war, but nothing as horrid as what would happen then.


    A man... I guess the size of my young ones... dressed finely in a linen suit... he, marched me out of my cell. I was brought to a horrible place... somewhere that no mortal should ever be.


  I was placed into...a gel... then the receiving end of a machine, strapped to conveyer belt Wich fed me into a large Machine...


  The inside... it uh... tore me apart... my organs were ripped apart by precise needles... and I was burned... scalded... melted and reformed... the year I spent was entirely within the machine...

  Once they had their fun with me... they sent me to the world... in the body of a small wisp... I was forced to kill, and grow. My body later fully formed back. I took the opportunity to escape to another player... 

  Eventually... I was freed. My ghostly form was replaced by my body once more... 


It's hell... I swear it is... not the game, or the system. But... there is hell even in this digital world... for those who deserve it the least... I've seen countless others less fortunate than me in there... young girls and boys... I've seen whole families there...

     I ascertain that there isn't heaven for us when we die... we assured we were sent to hell the moment we cast away our bodies... and now the Devil has used our own technology against us... we'll be stuck here forever. In this endless cycle of dieing and getting sent back. I assure you our minds will be destroyed after years of being here... some already died from the procedure of digitizing... but when we do die... we will be sent back here. "


     A truly frighting tale, are we doomed to this fate forever? Why haven't we met with others who have previously died?

Brief Overview : 

With the death of our real world in the future, everyone gets digitized and becomes immortal.

But how to do you spend immortality?

Games of course, with everything being digitized and with Hyper Advanced A.I. it's possible to create Full dive games that simulate what reality used to be like!

Our story takes place in Starduster MMO, a fantasy based MMO game where the game's story is run mainly by player choice.

Our main charector is Avery Hall, who specializes in the Sniper Class, who said it was just fantasy? He PKd for levels, and grew exponentially fast.

Avery also has been preventing the Progress of the game by holding on to a Key Artifact, other players find out about this and after a while kill him.

 While he gets sent to level 1 normally... he reputation is too low within the game and he gets banned, luckily he has a second account.

 Avery, swears to return the status quo, but maybe he'll be good this time... hopefully.

 So we join Avery's journey to get back to the top, just make sure he doesn't forget to properly transfer accounts.
