It's the time of disfigured creatures which consumes humans. It's the time of fear, the time of the dead. There are few who develops supernatural powers in this crazy world, and they mostly care about themselves. Can the young man named F13 escape this nightmare or will he be consumed by darkness? During the explosion on Earth Maria and Prayer was heading into a submarine the water pushed suddenly the fish and sea animals flushed forward heading to the surface.

The submarine merged emergency warning was called the water levels went pass buildings the submarine hit buildings and schools and gas stations. 

The the temperature and the pressure of the water rose so high have certain people became unconscious and others died.

Maria not being from this world was worried for her daughter Prayer who is half of her Siren species and also human. 

Maria had prepared Prayer in different ways she told about the Earth dying and how she will soon find Prayer true love. 

Mostly Maria spoke to Prayer about friendships for they can break the heart of young sirens in the new world.

 They were rescued and placed on the shuttle Maria was worried about Seven for she could see the balls of clouds opening up and forms coming out.

Maria counted 1 cloud 2 cloud and 3 cloud 4 5 6, 8,9 Where is 7 cloud?
 And 10 and 11 cloud Maria started to panic in her hearts. 

Other sirens and Sea animals had boarded and spoke to Maria but she was concentrating on the water below.

Her sister Jaela said Is this your daughter (Syiara)?

Maria turned around and said I am Maria and she is Prayer she's 2 years old and Yes my daughter.

Jaela said Seven is still down there some of Sea horse:Meen and Hammerhead: Beni are staying to guard her. 

The other's like her have surfaced with few sea animals I told Seven we are leaving and her love with be their too.

Jaela said she glowed but not the color needed to break free as yet but I have a feeling you will see her again.

Before lift off the nurses brought a patient on her long black hair covered her face on her dark skin was tattooed patterns.

 Beni the Hammerhead shark who had a baby with lighter skin and blue and grey eyes she looked 3months old(who was watching egg cloud).

 Beni turned and said its Seven she awaken and their was two bodies in the cloud.

The baby in Beni's hand is included the shuttle took off.

Beni said Princess Syiara I think Seven is a Dream walkers her and the child.

Dream walkers ancient humans with both Angel and Devil lifespans and the child has power to change the past if raised well enough but could destroy you as well. 

 Jaela why would you say that? 

Beni said when the woman awoke her eyes flickered like lights on a candle and they glowed ever colored of the Oceans and baby showed the Skies and Sun's and Moon's.

 Seven was born in a cloud of white but her skin tone is dark brown( on earth they would say Black).

And when Seven touched me Seven I felt a rush or jolt through me she unlocked ancient  memories. 

Petra said we should talk about this on Secondary Earth in new home not here were idle ears will hear our business. 

Petra's attention turned to Prayer I am you're Aunty P as well this is Aunties Jaela and Bristriana this is Gma Herta. Beni sat down.
 
Which of you will be Seven?

 I think you are Seven and the older one I will name her after Jaejian you are my kin now and forever a glow came off the baby a connection had been made. 

The shuttle in the sky leaving was purplish blue with red and yellow with fire flames as it looked like it pushed the shuttle towards it its final stage through space.

On the Secondary Earth they were placed near the waters and seas the houses above the water was just a cover for the world underneath.

 Below the sky on Secondary Earth Prayer was 12 years old and the baby Seven had become 7 years and Jaej was 14 years old.

Beni soon learned a secret of his two daughters from the cloud that they are the only ones who came with two bodies.

The researched showed that one of the is a Dream walker and the other something powerful called Heaven's walker.

Prayer adapted to the new world her friends were sharks and dolphins in the world below. 

On the surface she had human and interspecies friends as well but she had a big crush on J.J who she calls Jae and hated Seven being around her.

One day sunny outside Prayer asked Jaejian to go on a date Ocean they swam to the bottom of Ocean floor. 

Which is called the abyssal plains below the ocean floor, there are a few small deeper areas called ocean trenches.

They sat down there and talked about how Prayer used to visit and how this water is different as they went to leave Prayer saw something shining and tried to reach for it.

 Jaejian pulled her back for she could hear something else under the shinny thing.

On the other side of town Beni amd Meen are looking for Seven who has disappeared from the store they were in together.

Meen said the scent is strong here as she walked forward she hit a wall and fell back Seven said that hurt you and you found me.

 Meen grabbed Seven hand and yelled at her I was scared Don't do that always stay by our side Beni and Jaej and me do you understand! 

School was assigned to Jaejian and Prayer and Seven the schools that the three girls went to changed one of their lives.

 Prayer was put in the Water class and Tree Class studying the new world and the artifacts of Secondary Earth.

While studying the underwater of this world Prayer discovered that on this planet there was also Sirens but they were Bird like instead of Water Sirens. 

As she dug deeper into the ways of the Bird Sirens she met a young woman at the library who's appearance was like the picture she saw for Bird Sirens.

( The colors were vibrant blue and gold greens and yellow orange- red).

 At the age of 12 years old and curious she ran to up the Bird Siren and said I am a Water Siren she bowed and said we are like distant cousin.

The woman laughed and pushed her down and said you wish you we're like us and walked away.

Prayer stood up tears ran down her face she sobbed she had dropped the book of the Bird Sirens.

Prayer ran out the library doors on the street she ran into a young girl her age.

The next day in class a new student was transferred from another to the next class and the teacher introduce her Magdaya Breezen a Species called Bird Sirens.

Magdaya appearance was different from the others in the class she had long gold hair with stripes of aquamarine blue and her dark skin looked like marble.

 Her eyes are orange red on the hair was a hair clip which glittered like emeralds of yellows and greens. 

The teacher told her to sit beside Prayer for they we're both Sirens of another form.

 The class was instructed to get to know each other for they will be partners in class and outside school activties. 

Two weeks had gone by and the class had school trip too the Gatherings of the Stars.

(Lanterns lite for past loves)

 The class and parents where at a landing which floated above the sky as it lifted the stars slowly appeared.

The three moon's bright light shined down at the stars many Species made lanterns of their lost homes.

 Maria held up a water bubble with love letters to Ana she shaped the bubble into a lanterns across the the landing.

 Prayer saw Magdaya and her family she waved her over Maria introduced herself to the Breezen's

Magdaya's mother looked similar to her she said her name is Taran and she said that her husband name is Vlad.

 And this is Magdaya's sister Kalima she is 7 years old and brother Ixan is 5 years old they were in their bird form their colors were different from Magdaya.

Kalima's feathers colors where a dark gold and cerulean blue her bottom where pink. 

Her brother Ixan feathers baby blue and green his form switched between his human and bird form.

Maria said its just myself and Prayer here my sisters and my mom are down below Taran asked were Maria husband was? 

Prayer answered he died on Earth Dear old Dad and laughed.

Magdaya said its time for the lanterns the teacher is calling us the two ran off towards the class. 

Maria said to Taran am not married and my race can reproduce without men,Taran soon apologised but Maria told her there is no need to apologize. 

During the lanterns lighting above the sky rock boulders rained down in the landing Vlad cover the younger children.

Taran ran towards Maria who was looking at the girls lifting their lantern's just then Taran's wings opened up and covered Maria up.

 As the rock boulders was about to fall and hit her.

 The force field around Taran's wings protected Maria Taran said its okay I got you Maria Taran said.

Soon after Maria heard Prayer scream she went to move but Taran's wings permitted her from moving.

Taran said Dayao will take care of your daughter I mean Magdaya its a nickname What's yours for Prayer?

Maria said I call her Rayer she does not like it.

 As her Mother was covered she fell back and off the landing and Magdaya ran towards Prayer she change into her Bird form as she catch Prayer from hitting the ground.

 Magdaya said the boulder's of rain will stop soon, this world goes through many changes when all 3 moon's appear.

 Prayer just stared at her Bird form was gorgeous. 

Her feathers were aquamarine blue and gold her eyes had become green- red Magdaya said Prayer are You okay? 

Without thinking Prayer answered Magdaya Your very beautiful am definitely going to marry you.

 When Prayer did come to her senses she responded um I mean I'm good Thank you. 

The boulders rain storm stopped Taran felt her husband hand on her head she stood up and took Maria hand to lifted her up. 

Maria said Thank you to Taran and started looking for the girls Vlad said they must be below the landing.

Maria started panicking but Taran reassured her that Prayer was good feathers.

Taran could hear the girls laughing about what Prayer said.

 Taran told Maria that she could hear them the landing began to move it lower down and lowered down the center the parents reunited with the two young girls. 

A couple weeks later Taran sent a letter with Magdaya with her to school to gave to Prayer it was a invitation to their home for dinner.

Prayer ran up to Magdaya who she now calls (Mags)the two locked hands and walked towards class.
 
Mags said that she had a letter from her mom to her mom.

Class went on as usual until a bell which was not the regular for class to be dismissed.

The teacher stood up and asked the students to walk out of class to the yard and wait for their Parents and Guardians for the safety of themselves.

 Walking out Maria and Taran saw the girls when they got to them Taran wings spread open as she heard screams from other Species. 

Taran hurdled down covering up Maria and Prayer Mags opened her wings as well.

Water come through and Maria and Prayer bottom half turned into a Siren and Mermaid. 

Maria a siren and Prayer a mermaid using the water Maria gave Taran and Magdaya a large air bubbles so they can breathe. 

They each grabbed they're hands and swarm through the waters that were flowing. 

The bottom half of Prayer's body was amazement to Mags the colors of orange and purple with silver running through each scale of her tail.

 For Prayer was always in human form just then Mags fell in love with her completely.

When they emerged from the water Prayer used her power to create a big bubble.

 To put Taran and Mags in as she could get them to higher ground easier so they could fly.

The water seem to stop for now the authorities came by gathered a few survivors from the Water drought.

Taran yelled down to Maria that she would directed her their forest where they live.While swimming the water source came to a end.

 Maria and Prayer where picked up by Taran and Mags in Bird form and trees where different they looked hands with long branches.

The colors stood out bright colors like purple and fuchsia (no green scenery) more reds and oranges and blues her home was in a tree of all the colors including pink. 

 Ten years has gone by and Madgaya and Prayer now have there own home together one under water and the other in a high trees.

Everyone has a love story with slight twist.

Jeff was thinking about death. What if he died?

As an atheist, he believed he would stop function and his brain would die. Thus, not even emptiness or eternal darkness. He would simply stop having a consciousness.

Honestly, it wasn't very attractive. Sure, all his annoying thoughts would magically stop, but everything else would stop too. No turning back.

Now that he thought about it, it wasn't that bad? He simply had to hope he died after getting seriously bored of living.

Just like you get sick of your favourite food if you constantly eat it.

But as an optimistic person, he believed everything was possible.

So what if he went to hell? What if the religious people were right? After all, monotheistic religion sent nonbelievers to hell most of the time. So even if he never killed, bullied or seriously hurt someone he could still go to hell.

Obviously, he didn't want to get tortured, be it mentally or physically, for eternity. It mortified him.

So, even if he didn't believe in supernatural beings and religions, he came to this conclusion: he needed to make sure he wouldn't get sent to hell.

Thus, he made a prayer.

-Oh dear god, guardian, alien or whatever being manages humans souls after their death, please save my soul from oblivion and hell. I'll become your slave, do whatever you ask me to, as long as I don't get a crappy afterlife.

He didn't believe this prayer had reached any gods or spirit's ear, but he needed to make sure.

After all, if the god(s) are actually good, they wouldn't respond and simply would judge him fairly when the moment came.

If they were mildly acceptable, they'd take him up on his offer and make him do their bidding until they sent him to heaven.

If they were bad, they'd either ignore him or make an evil pact, sending him to hell either way. He wouldn't be able to do anything about it. 

In the end, he would most probably get ignored (that is if gods exists) and just continue as he is doing. He couldn't make sure he wouldn't get sent to hell, but at least he had tried.

Somewhere far away, in the spiritual dimension.

{huh? Did I I just hear a prayer?}

A god asked "aloud".

Another god, who was spiritually close heard him and asked what he was talking about.

{Hey, Hydra, did you just say a prayer was redirected to you?}

Hydra replied while still being a bit surprised.

{No, it directly came to me. This is impossible, right?}

His friend, Miehah, responded curiously.

{How weird for a prayer to escape the mighty administration. What was it about?}

{Some atheist teenager asked for whatever was in control to let him work in exchange of not going to hell or oblivion.}

{An atheist huh? I did hear about there being an increase of prayer from them. Though it's not surprising such a shameless request came from them. Was it especially strongly felt? Since it wasn't directed to you specially this is kind of weird.}

{No, but it was very honest. It's weird that a prayer completely unrelated to regeneration, my speciality, came to me. This is too intriguing, I'm going to investigate.}

Miehah smirked.

{Really? You are on the constricted list, you can't approach an ignorant human unless you are serious about fulfilling the prayer.}

Hydra shrugged.

{I've been inactive for so long, I'm starting to get bored. That guy said he'd do anything to have an acceptable afterlife, that's a very advantageous deal, no? Maybe, if I'm lucky, I'll have an avatar next time we see each other."

Chuckling, Miehah waved her hand at the already departing Hydra.

The next morning, Jeff woke up before his alarm went off, which was quite unusual. 

He felt somewhat uncomfortable. Like the vibe around him was eerie or something.

He looked around his room, dimly lit by the sunrise, in worry.

His body paralyzed when his eyes spotted a really suspicious dude, which was floating a few inches from the ground, who was observing him.

The suspicious dude in question had jet black skin, purple eyes with a vertical slit, black hair that was separated in multiple small and long braids tied together in a ponytail and wore a long, white fluffy fur coat. Although he had the vibe of a lazy thug, his face traits had swagger and looked stylish.

Jeff felt a ghastly voice coming from the conspicuous intruder.

{Why's he staring at me like that? Is there a fat spider behind me or something?}

The eccentric dude looked behind him and then turned back to Jeff, who was still looking at him.

{There's nothing behind me. Don't tell me he can feel my presence? Or maybe he actually has a few screw loose.}

While still looking at the intruder, Jeff mustered all his courage and warned him with a neutral tone.


"Sir, I ask you to leave this house before I call the police."

Hydra flinched in surprise. 

{He can clearly see me?? Could it be... he can also hear my voice? }

"I am effectively nor blind or deaf. Please leave now. "

Hydra's eyes opened wide.

{What? but I didn't reveal myself yet!}

Jeff felt this line spoken by the intruder sounded quite stupid. 

"I can assure you that you are completely revealed since I woke up. Now, since you ignored my warnings, I am going to call the cops."

He reached out for his phone and was about to call the cops, but Hydra hurriedly told him to stop.

{Wait! No! I'm here to answer your prayer.}

Jeff stopped. Did the suspicious dude talk about the prayer he made before going to sleep?

"Which one?"

{You prayed:Oh dear god, guardian, alien or whatever being manages humans souls after their death, please save my soul from oblivion and hell. I'll become your slave, do whatever you ask me to, as long as I don't get a crappy afterlife. Right?}

Jeff was stupefied. He hadn't spoken aloud his prayer yesterday. How come this guy knew exactly what his prayer was? There's also the fact that he was currently levitating. This was with no doubt proof of paranormal activity.

"What are you?"

Hydra puffed his chest and spoke proudly.

{I'm a god.}

Edmund was said to be a demon. Though, it wasn't the case. There was even a rumor about him killing his parents when he was 9. Though, it wasn't true. But, maybe he is. A demon, that is.

Even in school filled with thugs, every one, including the teachers and alike, fears Edmund. But why? Edmund doesn't know. But somehow, it's just like a superpower.

Prayer's P.O.V

It's been 1 month since I completed PT (Physical Therapy).  My arm is pretty much back to normal.  I showered then got dressed.  I and my sisters were going to the park after breakfast. I need to ask mom if she will take me to get a new guitar later. ( I thought) I picked up my purse and phone then headed downstairs.



Mr.Hill's P.O.V


I was thinking about so much that I almost burned the eggs I was cooking.  My wife turned the eye off then looked up at me with a worried look on her face. "Oh, hey honey. You sleep alright.?" ( I asked trying to play off the fact that I almost ruined breakfast.)  "What is it.?" (she asked ignoring my question.) I couldn't hide anything from her if I wanted to. " Honey, what do you think of Nashawn.?" ( I asked looking into her eyes.) I knew she knew what I wanted to know from her reaction. "Well, he's a good kid, sweet and funny."  

              I just stared at her for a moment. "Oh come on. Honey you know that's not what I'm asking."  I waited for her response "Yeah, I know what you mean. I saw it when I first met him. That kid is not human." (She whispered the last part.) "Prayer has no idea but I can tell she likes him."  That's what I'm worried about. How will she take it if he tells her.?   (I thought.)  

My wife was now so close I could hear her heartbeat. She wrapped her arms around my waist and looked up at me with those beautiful green orbs.  "How do you think she's going to take it when he tells her.?" (I asked) "Prayer is not the type who scares easily and if she is into him she will accept him." I nodded understanding. "Then will she be just as accepting towards us? I mean she's 18 now. We have to tell her about us." 


"She won't hate us if that's what you're thinking." (she said pecking me on the lips) I pulled her closer to continue what she started. I missed her so much I didn't want the kiss to end. "Gross." I and my wife both jumped and departed.  Prayer was standing with her hands covering her face.  I laughed at how dramatic she was being which earned me an elbow in the side from my wife. 


"Mom, dad. I'd tell you to get a room but you have one.  Please don't ever do that in the kitchen again." She said still covering her eyes. "Sorry sweetheart. You can stop covering your eyes now. " (I said). My wife didn't say anything she just looked down face red probably too embarrassed to talk. (That's cute as h***.) I thought.




Mrs. Hill's P.O.V

I was still trying not to look up at Prayer. This was super embarrassing. "Mom, can you take me to get a new guitar later.?"  I looked up at her now taken aback by the question. "Sweetie you already have what three of them.?" "Four." My husband corrected taking plates to the dining room. "Yeah, you just got one for your birthday. Why do you need another one.?"  She looked kind of disappointed. "Mom, you were the one who told me that a new instrument brings new inspiration." ( I laughed) "Oh sweetheart. I meant a new instrument as in something else besides a guitar."  

"Well, I do have an instrument in mind that I'm interested in learning."  I just stared at her for a moment trying to see if she was serious. "What instrument,?"   "Violin. I want to learn how to play the violin." (she said). "Okay then let's make a deal. If you buy a violin instead of another guitar and can play a song on it by the end of this month. I will buy you a new guitar of your choice if you still want another one I promise." "Deal.?" (She just stared at me for a moment then she nodded.) "Deal." 

"Hey, if you two take any longer the food will be cold." (My husband said grabbing both I and Prayer's hands leading us to the table.) I thought about what my husband asked. I hoped that was really how Prayer would take the truth from both me and her dad and Nashawn. After breakfast Prayer took her sisters to the park down the street. I and my husband watched a few movies together before I left to take Prayer shopping for a violin I decided to take the twins along.






Nashawn's P.O.V

It's finally Friday morning. I couldn't wait for it to come. I'm going on a camping trip today with some classmates. Prayer was the real reason I wanted to go. I had something I wanted to tell her. I showered and got dressed quickly. I grabbed my bag and headed to the kitchen. "Good morning, honey." (My mom said) smiling and handing me a juice bottle and a plate. 


Mom if I stay and eat all of this I'm going to be late. That's what I wanted to say but I decided to just eat it. I didn't want her to get emotional and say I have a problem with her food. "Thank you." ( I said) she walked over to the fridge and got out what looked like an Arizona juice bottle. "It should be warm by the time you need it." (she said handing me the bottle.) "I already packed a few of the bottles mom." ( I told her). "Yeah, but take another one to be safe." 


"Okay. ( I said turning to go in the dining room with my dad and brothers.) "Good morning Kiddo." (Dad said.) "Good morning" (I replied) My brothers were having some conversation about Fortnite. I wasn't into games so I just sat and listened. Mom joined us at the table. "Hey, honey is Prayer going on the trip.?" (She asked) I smiled at the thought of her being there. "Yes" ( I answered) 


"My brothers started laughing. what's so funny.?"( I asked still looking down trying to finish the food as quickly as possible. ) "The fact that you're eating fast and silently smiling to yourself." (Nelson said.) "I'm just in a rush." ( I told him.) "Clearly" ( My other brother Drew said). "Leave him alone." (mom said). "Yeah, just go back to talking about Fork Nite." (dad said) 

I nearly coughed up what I was eating. we all laughed. "Dad it's Fortnite" (Nelson said) "Oh, well that." ( dad said) "Hey, Shawn. why haven't I met your girlfriend yet.?" (he asked) "She's not my girlfriend yet dad." ( I said) 
"Well, what's taking you so long.?" (he asked)
"Yeah, Shawn just ask her out already." (Nelson said) "I just haven't told her yet about me not being human." ( I said) 

The table was quiet for a moment. "Son listen just get it over with. I mean if she freaks out you know you can't be with her and if she doesn't then ask her out on a date cause she's a keeper." I thought about what he said and it made perfect sense. "I'm going to tell her when we're on the trip." ( I said standing up and picking up my plate.)


"Good idea, do u have some juice bottles packed.?" (Dad asked standing with his plate and following me to the kitchen.) "Yes" ( I said washing my hands) "Great get your things I'll drop you off." (he said) "Thanks but I'm going to. "Kid, I know where you're going. Come on so you won't make her wait any longer than you already have." I smiled. "Thanks." " No problem kiddo." we walked back to the dining room to say bye to mom and my brothers before we left. 

We pulled up in front of Prayer's house. "Go ahead kiddo. I can take you both to school. Go get her." (dad said) "Okay," I said getting out of the car. I walked up to the front door and pressed the doorbell. Mrs.Hill answered. "Good morning Mrs. Hill. ( I said kind of nervous because the day I met her I found out two things one she was not an ordinary human and two she knew I wasn't human. 

"Good morning Nashawn.". She called for Prayer. "Prayer Nashawn is here.!" She turned back to me. "Hey, Nashawn please look after her while on the trip.." (she said.) " I will Mrs. Hill." (I said). Prayer hugged her mom and stepped out. "Good morning Nashawn thanks for walking with me." (she said) " Good morning. Um, my dad is going to drop us off if that's okay." ( I said more to Mrs.Hill than Prayer.) "Yes, that's fine just you two hurry up you have had him waiting for quite a while. Okay, we both said at the same time. 


We walked up to my dad's car and I introduced Prayer to him. " Hello, sir. nice to meet you she said shaking his hand." "And you as well." Please get in I'll drop you both off at school." (dad told her) "Thank you." she said. I opened the door for her then got in the front with my dad. We got to school just in time to sign-in and get on the bus. 

"Hey, Nashawn are you sitting with any of your friends on the bus.?" (she asked) "I can sit with you peanut butter." (I said) her eyes went big and she hit me on the arm. "What's with you. Don't call me that in public she said laughing and walking onto the bus. ( I sat next to her) "Why can't I call you that in public." (I asked) She was about to answer when her friend Selena walked up. 

"Hey, you two" (she said grinning.) "Selena, you liar you said you weren't coming." (Prayer said). "Selena do you want to sit with Prayer." (I asked.) "No go ahead Im sitting With Kelly." Prayer gasped and Kelly too. Oh, you two are jerks. she said. crossing her arms. Kelly walked up. "Hey, you don't need to call names. You should be thanking us if we told you we were coming you wouldn't be sitting with a certain someone now would you.?" She and Selena started laughing. and sitting right across from us. 






Selena's P.O.V

I turned to Kelly and gave her a high-five still laughing at Prayer's reaction. I will be glad when the two admit their feelings for each other. They make a cute couple and they act the same. Both stubborn and shy. I thought. 

The teacher walked past us counting how many of us were on the bus. Alright everyone's on and I got the count. she said to the bus driver who started to drive when she made it back to the front and sat down. I pulled out my phone and texted prayer. Prayer's P.O.V

I pulled my phone out after feeling it vibrate. It was from Selena. I laughed. she's too silly. Will do. I replied with the same emojis. I put my phone away and pulled out the book I was reading. I looked at Nashawn who was staring at something past me. I looked to see what it was he was looking at but didn't see anything. "What's got your eyes.?" I asked. 


The spider. on the window next to you he said. I jumped and moved away from the window What.? why.? kill it. hey, let's trade spots. I said turning to look at him. he laughed "relax peanut I mean Prayer. Relax I was joking." (he said) "Are you going to move back over.?" I didn't realize I was this close to him. I moved back. "Not cool." (I said picking my book up.) "What book are you reading." (he asked) I ignored him. 

"Aww, are you mad.?" I continued to ignore him. "Oh, come on. I'm sorry Prayer don't ignore me." He sounded like a whiny kid. I tried not to laugh still ignoring him. I turned to him and then back to my book still not answering. "peanut butter" He was about to say it again. "shh no don't." "Oh look you're talking." (he said.) "I'm reading KIDNAPPED by Gordon Korman." 

"Oh really.? I love that book." (he said) "Me too." ( I said) "Let me guess. It's like your third time reading it. isn't it.?" (he asked) "Yeah." (We laughed) "Hey when we get the chance. I need to talk to you about something." (he said standing up.) I picked up my bag and put the book back in it. "Is it heavy.?" took me a while to figure out what he was talking about. "No." (I said) He reached his hand out. "Well, let me carry it for you anyway." I was about to decline but Selena took the bag out of my hand and gave it to him. 


"Aww you two are adorable she said then grabbed my hand and started to walk off with me. (Tha thanks, Nashawn I said embarrassed) we got off the bus and I glared at Selena. "Oh, honey don't glare at me. You are hopeless. Your crush ( I covered her mouth. Shhh he's right behind us ). She moved my hand and continued. Someone was practically begging you to hold your bag and you took too long so I gave it to him. You will thank me later." (she said winking). I stared at her in disbelief. I hope Nashawn didn't hear any of this. Ugh, these two are embarrassing. I thought holding my head down and covering my face. Selena and Kelly laughed. 


"You alright." (Nashawn asked walking up towards us). "Yeah, I'm fine." (I replied). "Alright, listen up kids." Mrs. Trinity said. We have a couple of things on our agendas today. First, we're going sightseeing, next we're going fishing and last for today we're going to the cabins to put our things away before setting up the tents. Everyone understands.?" (She asked). "Yes," we all said. "Great. Let's get in a line so I can make sure none of you snuck off in the few seconds that I was talking." she counted us as we walked past her to the other teacher Mr. Brady.

When I arrived home, I started writing my prayer requests for this event. 
I put there about breakthroughs in my career, finances, ministry. I also put there the salvation of my family and being a good witness for Jesus in my neighborhood and workplace. 
But the last but not the least, about my feelings on Rachel. 
After that, I made another poem for her again.
To someone that I just met
You know that I did not regret
When I hold your hand that night
While the stars shining so bright
I thanked God, it happened finally
To meet this simple, pretty lady
It just started in a prayer actually
But He answered it unexpectedly
When would be that we meet again?
Or where would we bump in a lane?
I patiently waiting each other day
Hoping to meet you again someday
I just want to be friends with you
At least for now if you want to
For this is my fervent prayer
And only God knows if you are my forever
When I am about to end, I felt sleepy, but I just need to do something on my Facebook. I need to add Rachel as a friend. I just hope she will accept my friend request soon.
I smiled when I did that because finally I have now a reason to add her and hopefully this would be the door on a connection with her.
As I scrolling on updates on my newsfeed, I was shocked at what I saw. "Jennica de los Reyes is already engaged." 
I stopped for a while. My ex-girlfriend is now engaged. I don't know what to feel. Would I be happy for her? I think so, she is still my sister in Christ.
I should be happy for her and Ronald, my friend who is now the fiancee of Jenny. Besides, I think I moved on from her especially that my attention is now on Rachel. 
I grabbed the paper where I wrote my prayer requests and put them there about my best wishes for both of them.

As I slept, I dreamed about Ronald. My dream flashed backed the day when we became friends. I met him before because he was the one who shared with me the gospel. Yes, he was the one who pulled me on the street when I was almost hit by a bus.
He was the one who brought me to Life Church and that was the start of my Christian life. He became one of my mentors and I told him every struggle of my life and also about Jenny.
I did not know that he also has feelings for her. I have no idea that every time I shared my intentions to her, Ronald is also hurt.
But when an opportunity came to him that I am not there for Jenny because of being busy, he is the one there. 
He treated my girlfriend at that time as his girlfriend also. He opens doors for her which I don't normally do and that what makes Jenny fall for her.
In my dream, he told me, "Don't worry Jacob, I will take care of Jenny for you." 
and then I woke up.
I prayed about them in my quiet time in the morning and I decided to be happy for both of them because they will be now getting married soon. 
Then I unfollowed them for me to be sure that I am no more affected and also I will stop using social media for a week in preparation for the mid-year prayer and fasting.

Then Wednesday came, I did not eat my dinner because I decided that I will fast on this meal until Saturday.
When I arrived at the church, Martha waved at me. I approached her. 
"So, how can I pray for you?" Martha asked. I don't know if I should tell her about my feelings for Rachel, she is her small group leader anyways.
"Actually, there is something I need you to pray for me, but I'm shy to tell it," I ashamedly said. "Oh, what is that, you can tell me," Martha asked. 
"I am falling for Rachel," I said in a low voice. 
Martha laughed.
"Try to distance yourself to her as your ongoing on your praying and fasting," She said. 
"So that you can focus on what God's will for the both of you," she continued. 
I agree. She has a point.
Then the worship began. She was one of the worship singers again. I tried to close my eyes so that I will not be distracted, but I can't. She getting prettier and prettier every time I see her. I felt like an arrow was pointed right straight at the center of my heart when I see her face.

The second day of the prayer and fasting came. I am alone in the seat. I saw her on the other side. She is only singing on the first day only.
But I said to myself that I should distance myself to her as I am on my prayer and fasting. I focused on worship like never before. I see the anointing of the worship leaders and I felt the Holy Spirit covering us as we are seeking Him by depriving ourselves of whatever we are decided to fast.
It's the same on the third day. I felt that my desire for her gets lessen because I focused on God.
Then finally, the last day of prayer and fasting. It was a Saturday. Many people have flocked to the megachurch as this is the last day. The seats were almost full.
I am seated at the back of Ian. 
He talked to me. "So, how was your prayer and fasting?" 
"It's great. I got to focus on Him and I am not swayed by any distractions and even my desire for Rachel, it gets lessen," I answered.
Ian then shared to me how powerful fasting is. He shared with me about Esther. Esther let his fellow countrymen the Jews hold a fast as they are going to be possibly exterminated. But God acted upon them, Haman was executed instead. We can see how fasting is so powerful.
He also shared with me about the Ninevites on the book of Jonah when they prayed and fasted as they about to be punished by God. But God relented.
So what I have learned that although fasting is not the means to bend the arms of God, it is the means that we are letting God do His works for us. 
If it is God's will that we will end up together, then I will fast so that I can hear what is God's response on this and let do His work for both of us.

Then the worship began and it was so great. I almost cried. The people cried their hearts to the Lord as every tune, every song, every beat touches our hearts. Then it ended after 15 minutes and we all sat down.
Then a woman passed by in my side looking for a seat. It's Rachel! 
She was late so she did have a seat. She tried to find it in front, but there were no vacant. So I waved at her and offered my seat to her. She accepted it and smiled.
Then I went at the back, standing along with the other worshippers who did not have a chance to have a seat. 
I felt so happy that I showed being a gentleman to her. Did she appreciate that? I guess. 
Would she become comfortable with me after that? I don't know. 
As long as I show kindness to her, She would open myself to me at least being a friend.
Then the prayer and fasting ended with a closing song. So I approached her because my bag was left in her seat.
I pushed myself to talk to her even the closing song is not yet finished and she was about to sing.
"Rachel, it's nice to see you...." But she just kept silent.
She was annoyed at me. I can see in her face. I almost forgot, she is a worship singer and singing is so special to her. I should let the song to be finished and then that's the right time to talk with her.
I kept quiet. But when the song is over, I tried to talk to her again to say sorry. But she went out right away on the other side. My heart was crushed with a hammer. I was so disappointed. I regretted what I said that I almost banged my head on the chair.
My big points on offering my seat to her just disappeared because of my impatience of talking to her. I forgot that I should keep a distance at her because I am still in my prayer and fasting.
I did a big failure. I need to make up for my mistake. But the question is how? I need to strategize.

"All these dull humans."

The deep-sounding voice said the being wasn't human, but it was in a very similar shape to one. The silhouette sat down as it rubbed its chin. It tightened its fist as it rambled on about its past, something only someone in its situation could understand. As the being spoke, his voice echoed outwards into the room of the empty white void. The being's face wasn't seen at all; it was showing its actions, but nothing more, nothing less. Behind the being was a white void, the color behind the being seemed bright and shiny. The being sat on its throne as he rambled.

"All humans are sinful, I made them out to be virtuous and kind. But that all changed when Adam and Eve betrayed my trust. Then that's when I realized they weren't perfect and I was ok with that. But I never thought it would get this bad. Being a god can be really tiring."

The being was rambling on about its memories and its past. Even as a god, it still held on to some of its human-like qualities. It constantly talked down about humans, the reason behind that was because it didn't want to admit that itself and humans weren't so different. It made them, after all, even if it was seven million years ago, but the god didn't want to admit, it was because of many factors. Humans hadn't prayed to god in years, the only time they prayed to god was when they were in a predicament or if they needed "God's strength." Throughout the billions of years, he felt as if his actions were going unnoticed. It was their fault that demons had become a thing, it was the human's negative energy that made demons what they are. The god then spoke as it said in a familiar name in a reminiscing voice.

"Satan, I miss him as well."

Satan was one of God's best friends, he remembered their conversations. It remembered teaching the devil how to make life, how to make humans do what you want, and how to make an entirely new race. God and the devil had a falling out over arguing about good and evil and power. The god even dropped the old name that was given to him by humans. It did this because it felt like a part of itself was missing after Satan had left. After Satan had left, he trapped himself in this empty white void which was in a part of upper heaven that none of the angels could reach. The god spoke as he continued to think.

"Is this what a god is supposed to do? Sit up here all day? Having no fun? Having my people betray my trust and not praise me? Use my omnipotent power for nothing?"

It asked itself this question repeatedly. Every time he heard a fake prayer from each of the humans on earth. In reality, it would've destroyed the humans a long time ago, but it felt like they were a part of God itself. God already felt as if it lost a part of itself when Satan left. It didn't want to feel the pain it felt back then again. It didn't know what to do, it felt embarrassed as a God. These past few decades God felt lost, it didn't even answer prayers like it used to. In all honesty, God was more human-like than any human on earth. God was lazy, it has hair, it is slothful, and it was most of all, good and bad. God knew this, but still, it couldn't accept it. God put its head in its lap as it spoke to itself.

"I'm so lost, what should I do?"

Like a light in all the darkness, something answered God's wish. It was a prayer, the prayer was from a child. The male child spoke, but it was only heard by God. A smirk came onto God's face. The prayer that the child made was so simple but it was so genius and brilliant. Normally, God would get mad when prayer was about asking for something, but this prayer was different. The prayer that God heard had soul and emotion in it and proved a challenge to god. God continued to smirk as it thought about the wish. After thinking for a bit it concluded.

"You know what kid? Wish granted, this will be exciting to watch."

God laughed and laughed, and it laughed some more. I didn't know why, but the wish that the male child made was funny and ridiculous but still so genius. The god continued to laugh as he stood up off of his throne.

"I gotta tell Selaphiel and The Archangels about this. That kid in that prayer acts just like Kinben. It's been so long since I've been to the lower part of heaven, I hope they still recognize me."

God said as it walked into the white void disappearing into it. He made his way to the lower part of heaven but before it completely left, it spoke.

"Thank you, child."

God then disappeared.
